Our Wonderful Experience with Sixpence Studios

From the beginning, my husband and I knew that we wanted both a photographer and a short video for our wedding, and ideally, we hoped to find one vendor who could deliver both. I discovered Sixpence Studios while browsing The Knot, and was immediately drawn to the beautiful photos and videos showcased on their website and social media platforms. Working with Joanna was an absolute pleasure. She was extremely easy to communicate with, whether by email or telephone, which made the lead-up to our wedding incredibly smooth and stress-free. Before the wedding, Joanna provided us with a detailed questionnaire. Completing it was helpful for all aspects of our planning process. Joanna made herself available to go through the questionnaire with us, answering questions, discussing the timeline, and offering her insights on important considerations like daylight, weather, and family harmony. Her guidance made the planning process much more manageable. On the wedding day, Joanna, Rhiannon, and Nick were simply amazing. They arrived while I was getting my hair and makeup done, and Joanna mentioned that Nick was outside flying a drone to capture video footage for our wedding film—I was instantly impressed! Throughout the day, the team guided us with warmth, humor, professionalism, and careful attention to detail. When Joanna came to let us know they were leaving at the end of our reception, I genuinely didn’t want them to go; we enjoyed their presence that much. Another guest even commented on how lovely they were. The team achieved the perfect balance: they were present to capture special moments but never intrusive, which was especially important for our small wedding. Their approach truly was an art. The photos and video turned out to be absolute perfection. We were married in January in Vermont, and I had always envisioned our wedding like a scene inside a snow globe—nature delivered on that vision. Our day was everything we wanted, but it went by so quickly that I wished we could somehow bottle up the experience. When we watched our video and saw a scene that perfectly captured that vision, it took our breath away and even brought both of us to tears. The attention to small details made everything extra special. Sixpence Studios sent a sixpence for my shoe for good luck, and included a beautiful wedding gift along with our thumb drive. These thoughtful gestures meant so much to us. I could not recommend Sixpence Studios more highly. They made our wedding experience truly unforgettable.

The best wedding videographer hands down!

I hired Joanna and her team to film our May 2018 wedding in January the same year, and I could not be more pleased with my choice from the start! Joanna is so easy to talk to, very responsive, and put my worrying mind at ease from our first conversation.

Two days after our wedding, Joanna had a teaser film ready for us as a surprise. She put together some extra footage from our wedding day and made the most beautiful, minute-long, cinematic film. Our full teaser and feature film arrived right on time, via Mediazilla, approximately 3.5 months after our wedding. Joanna was open to any and all suggestions for edits to the feature film and teaser. She truly wants each of her creations to be unique, not a cookie-cutter wedding film. Shortly after finalizing the edits, we received the physical and digital copies of the film, to include the speeches and dances.

I cannot begin to describe Joanna's style, because it's truly something you have to experience and see for yourself. She and her team have numerous years of experience in this industry and it shows! Joanna and I still keep in touch, and I will forever say that I feel like I hired one of my best friends to film my wedding day!

Joanna and Rob were amazing! I'm so happy that I decided on using a videographer for my wedding day. I almost had doubts on hiring one. I would have definitely regretted it. Whenever I made the decision to go ahead and book one, I knew it had to be Sixpence Productions! There was just something about their videos that stood out to me the most. Joanna & Rob are simply the best. We obviously haven't received our own wedding video yet since it's just been three weeks, but we've seen plenty of their work to know how great they are, including the video of some of our closest friends who were in our wedding. That's how we first found Sixpence, and we respected their work so much that we immediately hired them for our wedding.

Joanna & Rob somehow manage to capture every moment and detail you could ever want, without ever being in the way. How they manage such a feat is amazing. Honestly, we never even noticed them being there, which says a lot about their abilities.

They are the best to work with, and worth every penny.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I can't say enough good things about Sixpence Productions. Joanna is so wonderful and easy to work with. She makes you feel very calm & special on your big day. Joanna and her husband captured the moments of our day in a way that I could have never imagined. It has been over a year and I still watch our sneak preview all the time. When we received our actual video, I was blown away. It more than I could have hoped for and I will be forever grateful to them. It was definitely worth the money!! I would urge anyone considering them to look at their website & blog. They post sneak previews and you can get more of a feel for what they do. I highly recommend Sixpence Productions to anyone who needs a videographer. Joanna and Rob captured our wedding day in the most beautiful way and our video was absolutely perfect. Each time I spoke to Joanna on the phone, she always made so much time for me to answer every question and made sure I was comfortable with the whole process. Their professionalism is incredible and the quality Sixpence offers is superb. They were such a joy to have at our wedding. I LOVE LOVE LOVE our wedding video!! I was on the fence about getting a videographer at all because I saw it as a great place to cut money and thought I wouldn't ever watch it. Then, my amazing wedding planner (Heather Archdeacon-Williams) said she thought the same thing when she was planning her own wedding. Then somebody mentioned to her that a lot goes on during the wedding that the bride and groom don't get to see and it's nice to be able to see those moments. I had never considered that and changed my mind. I was so happy with Diva Productions! They send a great questionnaire beforehand that helps them know what is important to you (to be sure and shoot) and what songs you like for the video. When we got our full video back my husband was like, "I want the soundtrack!" Little did he know they were basing choices off of music we liked. Also, our short video came out really fast so everybody got a little taste. We have relived our wedding through the video several times laughing and crying with each view. They really captured the joy of the day. Additionally, so many people that couldn't make our wedding have asked to watch the video. It's a great way to let them share in the experience. The packaging is very professional and they even send you a zip drive. I loved working with Diva Productions!

While we had many wonderful vendors help make our wedding completely magical, the one whose work still lives with us on a regular basis is Diva Productions. We could not be happier with their work. From the sneak peek we received on our honeymoon (and watched crying in bed at 6AM in Hong Kong), to the spectacularly packaged final Blu-Ray with the whole weekend documented, Diva truly delivered. Words cannot express how amazing Joanna and Rob were to us and exactly how talented they are. Very responsive, detail oriented and with a final goal of giving you the most wonderful vision of your wedding, we can't recommend them highly enough. For those couples who are on the fence about doing a video, it is among the most important investments you can make. We will always have memories to share now.

Jo and Rob are absolutely wonderful to work with. They are prompt in their replies, helpful with selecting the best package, and truly capture the beauty and emotions of the big day. They both have warm spirits and make you feel relaxed and at ease during filming.They make a great effort to get to know you and your family and what is important to you during filming.
During both the sneak peek and the wedding video, I was in tears because it was beautiful. They made our day seem absolutely magical and captured everything we were both feeling. I cant be more excited about the way it turned out. I am so grateful for this incredible treasure! It's simply amazing!!! We both adore it! I would highly recommend them to anyone! Diva productions were great! Joanna and her husband were always so helpful and kind....I never felt like just "another customer". If you have specific requests, just ask and they will accomodate. Videography is a great investment and something I think every bride should have and I'm so glad they were the ones to document our big day!

Diva Productions did a phenomenal job of video taping my daughter's wedding. I wasn't sure what to expect as a finished product, but I knew from the first time I watched the 'trailer' they prepared that the video was going to be something special. And it was! Great great choice for anyone planning a wedding that they want to remember and relive over and over again!!! Having Joanna and Rob tape our wedding and then create this magical video is the best decision we could have made! I've only seen the trailer for our wedding video and it makes me sooo excited to see the final product! We are so happy to have had them both at our wedding and for their patience in putting up with some of the craziness (people mainly) during it all! I watched my video 6 times the first day I got it!! Each time I noticed something new and special. It was like I relived my wedding day and I am so thankful that I will have it as a keepsake for the rest of our lives. It was so nice to be able to see how my groom was the minutes up to the wedding and of course they captured things that night that I never even knew took place!! There isn't enough words to describe how wonderful Diva Productions was to my family concerning the wedding of my daughter. The personal attention they give as well as flexibility is outstanding. Last minute we wanted to have the rehearsal dinner filmed and without hesitation Rob was there. Joanna and Rob both are like inviting family to join your special occasion they are professional and invisiable but got every moment to make the video perfect. I've had more people say they wish they had known to call Diva. We couldn't have asked for a more special video, it's like watching a movie of your daughter's dreams coming to life! Joanna and Rob are two of the loveliest people I have ever met. They are both so warm and so friendly...they are the type of people that you want to hang out with...which is exactly why you want Diva Productions filming one of the biggest days of your life. They are present and there for so many special and private moments and yet unobtrusive during those moments.

Joanna and Rob take the time to get to know their clients. They want to know exactly who you are as a couple, what music you like, what things are extra special about your wedding (ie, you are carrying your mother's bible, using your parents cake knife to cut your cake, a special piece of jewelry, etc) so they can capture that in your wedding film and make sure those things are honored.

When my husband and I sat down to watch our wedding video, we were touched by all of the moments that were captured. The sweet moments, the sappy moments, and the hilarious ones. We laughed, we cried, and we enjoyed every moment of reliving our special day.

I have so many friends that regret not having a video of their wedding, so I knew that was a "must" for my own wedding. I am so glad that I chose Diva Production. Our wedding video is priceless!!

Diva Productions is FABULOUS!! I am writing this review simply based off the trailer that we have sneek peaked. If I got goose bumps and tears just from that 2 minute clip, then I can't imagine what the whole production is going to do to me :)!!

Diva Productions is amazing!! Their work is absolutely stunning! They capture the moments you want to cherish forever. The day of your wedding, things go so fast....and you don't think to look around at everything...decorations, peoples' reactions, etc. Diva covers it all for you! Since we got married in Florida and not all of our friends and family could travel down there we had a backyard reception at home. At the reception we showed everyone our video on a projector screen. Guests came up to us and said "It was like watching a lifetime movie!" Another guest said "they captured the essence of Cara" (that's me the bride!) It's amazing how they meet you once or twice and automatically know who you are. We are so grateful to have met Joanna and Rob...and we are so thankful for their work! It is such a cool thing to have to show our kids down the road...we not only have a great video, we have two new friends who I know would do anything for us! I highly recommend you have Joanna and Rob cover your wedding! You will not be disappointed! I promise! We love them and so will you!

I would recommend Diva Productions to anyone...TWICE. They were extremely professional and such great people. I feel like it was definitely money well spent. Words can not describe how I felt when I watched the video. The detail that went into making the video and their timing with the music and video were right on. We booked them after seeing their website, some websites look soo good but don't always provide what they are advertising, with Diva you get exactly what you see on their website! When we first discussed the idea of video for the wedding, we weren't sure it was something we "needed" to do and we were on a budget, but finally, we decided to add this service and started looking for the right company. We viewed tons of sample footage, interviewed several videographers, looked up reviews, and talked to others about their experiences and recommendations. Finding the right videographer, to me, is like finding the right dress -- you just know when it "fits" in every way. Getting to Diva Productions was a godsend, and I trusted those who recommended Joanna to me. Though our decision was made on relatively short notice and our wedding was during Christmas weekend (also on Joanna's birthday!), we were so thankful that she agreed to take on our event. The prices were reasonable and the value for what we received was exceptional! Not only was Joanna professional, but she was flexible, understanding, and very easy to work with. She even went out of her way to make our video just the way we wanted and was very patient in working with all of my ideas. Diva Productions is the complete package, our video was excellent and working with Rob and Joanna was such a pleasure. Everyone knows with family gatherings, like weddings, comes craziness and drama. My wedding was full of it. I thank God that I was refereed to Diva Productions for videography. Joanna and her husband are an amazing duo. They are extremely professional and provide an unbelievable service. From the first discussion I had with Joanna I felt at ease. She was so helpful, and willing to look into things that don�t have anything to do with videography (like who made the bridesmaid dresses in a wedding she videoed and blogged). On the day of the rehearsal, Joanna and her husband were ready to roll well before the rehearsal started and willing to stay and extra hour longer (due to a late start to the dinner and rehearsal because of family dysfunction). After everything got back on track Joanna pulled me to the side and gave me some words of wisdom to cheer me on. They were willing to work around the problems without putting a spotlight on them. On the big day they were just as wonderful and amazing. We decided to do a slideshow at the wedding that Joanna put together, I could not have imagined a more touching and special presentation (my husband even got chocked up). It will be treasured for life, and I�m confident we will feel the same about our wedding video. I recommend all Brides to use Diva Productions, there�s none better and worth every penny.

Diva Productions did such an amazing job on our wedding video.Thanks to them our special day is more than just a memory! We could not believe the quality of the video and feel so blessed to have such a treasure to look back on for the rest of our lives! It was really cool that we could personalize it by using our own music. We also really enjoyed having the interviews on the video. It made it that much more special! And it was so nice to be able to show our video to those that couldnt make it to the wedding! I would highly recommend Diva Productions to anyone!

perfect, perfect video! Joanna and Rob were so amazing to work with. They did such an amazing job on our wedding video! The quality of service provided by Diva Productions was exceptional. I was blown away by the quality of the video. The interviews with family and friends was a great addition to the video. This is more than a wedding video. It is a keepsake that can be passed from generation to generation.

Joanna provided excellent service and attentiveness from the very first phone contact. Her concern for my daughter's special needs in a videographer was genuine and she was more than willing to do whatever it took to make this day as stress free as possible for her. She made me feel like the recording of this wedding was as important to her as it was to me. Before the wedding day, during the planning, she and Rob were engaged, responsive, and accommodating. They seemed to have a genuine desire to record the day with as much care and diligence as if I were doing it myself. On the actual day they worked with true professional excellence - well prepared to completely cover the event from getting ready for the ceremony to the final wave good-bye after the reception. They were completely sensitive to the events throughout the day - unobtrusive when the situation called for it and engaging when appropriate. Whenever I saw them speaking to or directing people where necessary it was like watching family engage with family, and everyone had genuine smiles on their faces and seemed to be at ease. For us the day flew by in a blur but I felt completely confident that they were catching everything we were missing during the flurry and excitement. They not only took care of their responsibility with excellence but they also worked with our other vendors with great coorperation and professionalism. The final result proved my confidence in them throughout the day. The video that they provided for us showed great intuitiveness and sensitivity. They captured a story and presented it with excellence. There has truly not been one dry eye during the viewing of this precious gift and, most importantly, my daughter and son-in-law got to see the day as the beautiful event that it was rather than remember what they could amidst all the commotion and stress. I am so thankful that I made the call that brought Diva Productions into the mix of this once-in-a-lifetime day for our families. Thank you Joanna & Rob! from a very grateful mom.

Our experience with Diva Productions was beyond amazing. From the first phone call through the entire wedding process, my husband and I have been completely satisfied with everything. From the booking process, to the follow up questions, to confirming plans for the big day, they have been so sweet and understanding with what we wanted from them as a videographer. If we had any questions or concerns we would either call or email and Joanna and Rob returned the e-mails and phone calls within 24 hours. That, to me, is more than I can say for most businesses. When you are already stressed with everything else when planning a wedding, having them reply and respond in a professional manner was fantastic! Throughout the wedding they exceeded our expectations as far as being early, setting up, their equipment and even their attitudes and energy. My family loved them!! We just watched our video from them last night and lets just say.WE WATCHED IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!!! They captured everything and more. Things that happened that I did not know about, they captured. The style, edits and fanciness to the video was very impressive. Moments like our first dance, our laughs, my dance with my dad, and his with his mom, and interviews with our grandparentsPRICELESS!!! We love our wedding video !! We didn't know what to expect but this video is phenomenal !! It is a piece of ART...Romantic & funny with great music ! We watched it 5x's the evening we received the video. Literally, five times. There are no boring parts. We are so happy Diva Productions were a part of our Special Day !! Joanna was a lot of fun especially while I was getting ready...I always felt super comfortable and enjoyed shakin' it with my "sexy little bride" panties !!

Hubby interlude.... I agree. First of all they were very creative and artistic in the ways they filmed moments that seamlessly flowed into the day. They were a joy to be around and we had a lot of fun together. The end result, our video, is too hard to explain in words. It's our favorite video in the house, we're proud to share it with friends, and friends are surprisingly eager to see it again. Diva requested a copy of the music CD we made for our wedding DJ, and incorporated many of the songs along with some excellent selections of their own. Just writing about it makes me want to watch it again. To simplify... elegant, captivating, and more than perfect. We will have it for the rest of our lives.

We received our video and we LOVE IT!!! We could not be happier! From all of the examples that we saw on your website and the demo video, we knew you were wonderful artists and great editors, but when we viewed the DVD you created for us, we were still floored! Diva Productions did an excellent job on our video. When I first contacted them via e-mail, Joanna got back to me quickly with pricing, packages, etc and when we spoke on the phone she was so nice and very willing to accommodate anything we needed in regards to video for our wedding. I was a bride that was not quite sure what I wanted and she walked me through the entire process. I did not need to speak to anyone else, I knew I was in good hands. On the day of the wedding they positioned themselves in the best possible places without being in the way. They got the ceremony from several positions, got the sights and sounds of the day, got the wild moments and the teary ones. They captured all of the great moments without anyone noticing. It was so fun to watch! My video has made me laugh and cry-I only received it a week ago and I have watched it 3 times!! It really is so much better than I could have imagined! They went above and beyond adding so many special elements and music to my video. I would recommend Diva Productions to anyone getting married on the panhandle of Florida!

Diva Productions is the best choice for your wedding video. They were great to work with, very friendly and they helped us a lot since we were in Michigan at the time of the booking. As promised they delivered the video the day of our reception and the quality was great! It looked like we had a movie director there to do the editing and filming. We couldn't be happier with the product or the quality of the people we were able to work with. They integrated songs into the video and they seemed to know which songs to put right where we would have. They did a great job. If you want a quality product, this is where you should go to get it!

I have to admit, I was very hesitant to even have a videographer, I wondered if it was going to be worth the money. But now, I am convinced, it was probably the best money I spent on my wedding! Joanna was absolutely outstanding! I have never been more satisfied or more impressed with a wedding vendor (and I am a very hard lady to impress). She was the easiest and most delightful person to work with from start to finish. She was always so understanding and accommodating. She even helped out with our slideshow for the dinner rehearsal at no additional cost. All the little bells and whistles she added turned it into a masterpiece. After my small destination wedding, we had a party back home, so, she created a highlight video for us to show everyone. It was beyond my expectations, it was perfect. It was so professional looking; youd think someone in Hollywood created it. My friends and family still rave over how good it was. Joanna is so talented and does such an amazing job with everything she touches. I would highly recommend her for any of your videography needs.

Joanna and Rob did a wonderful job recording my daughter’s wedding. They were very professional and worked around the guests without being pushy or intrusive. That was important to my daughter, and she was also pleased with their work. We have enjoyed watching the dvd over and over again. We had to wait a little longer than usual due to unexpected health reasons, but Joanna always kept me up to date on their progress. I really appreciated that. Many friends thought that we planned for rain because Diva worked the rainy weather into the script so well that it appeared we planned for it all along. I would highly recommend them to other brides for their big day.

DIVA Productions was a wonderful vendor to work with. After our first meeting I was confident we were on the same page and that I was in good hands. They clearly understood what we were looking for in a wedding video. During the wedding they stayed out of the way (which i was worried about since we were in a tight chapel). Seeing the footage I can't believe they got such great shots without being in anyone's way! We did have to wait a little longer than expected for the final cut but it was WELL worth the wait and when we followed up with them they were very honest about when we could expect the video. The video captured all the special moments of our day. It was traditional with small unique touches throughout - exactly what we had discussed. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job. HIGHLY recommend DIVA :)

When my husband and I watched our finished video we were both drawn to tears. The video was absolutely magnificent as it captured every emotion and action rendered on our wedding day. It was a blessing to have them video our wedding and we would not change a thing. Rain persisted the whole week of our wedding even up to the wedding day but they never griped, complained nor threatened to charge us extra due to having to stay later. They were awesome to work with and it was our pleasure.
