Having a lively, energetic dance floor was one of the top priorities for me and my fiancé and BOY did DJ Mike from Direct Sounds deliver! Mike’s extensive experience with club DJing clearly showed as he was able to perfectly assess the crowd and time the music to keep the dance floor going for the entire night—a true feat given that we had added on an extra hour of dancing so it was *quite* the dance marathon. In advance of the wedding, Mike was very responsive and really worked to incorporate our suggestions. He took the inspiration playlist we’d made and brought it to the next level with his song mixing skills and crowd awareness. Some of my best memories from my wedding day were from that dance floor and I’m so grateful to DJ Mike for helping make that happen.

Ultimate DJ experience!! Made the night!!
We experienced DJ Mike’s performance at the Wedgwood Clayton House Expo. We loved the vibe he brought! And so when we had the opportunity to select him as our wedding DJ, we jumped at the opportunity. AND HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! We met with Mike and he was so professional and fun to work with. Added zero stress, and made the music planning fun. We told him a couple of songs we didn’t want played, and the rest we left to him. He’s the professional, right?! Fast forward to day of… He personally came out, greeted us, and walked through the timeline. He relieved all stress as we prepared to walk into potentially the most fun night of our lives. Then it happened, he guided the night through all of the rituals (first dance, cake cutting, speeches, etc) and even flexed when we added an item to the timeline. THEN, the music and dancing started… THE FLOOR WAS PACKED ALL NIGHT!!! It was better than we could have imagined. He mixed in all the right songs and kept the vibe high all night. He played off the crowd and you could tell he was a true professional. Our wedding will always be remembered by the time on the dance floor, and that is all thanks to Mike. Thank you so much for bringing the energy!

DJ Justin was the best!
Justin was an amazing DJ! I had a lot of specific requests for the reception, and he delivered on every single one. From playing certain parts of songs for our grand entrance to keeping the energy high and the crowd engaged, he nailed it. He played our playlist and even accommodated a last-minute request without hesitation 😅
Planning with him was incredibly easy. He was communicative, organized, and professional. We had two video meetings, with the final one being very thorough. Even in the days leading up to the wedding, I was able to text him to confirm last-minute details, and he was always quick to respond.
My husband, our guests, and I all had such a fun and memorable reception thanks to Justin. I highly, highly recommend him. He’s a fantastic wedding DJ!

Wonderful Dj for our Wedding
We booked our wedding through a venue that uses Maxwell’s company, and he was the DJ paired with us—and we truly could not have been luckier.
Maxwell was absolutely incredible as our wedding DJ. From the very beginning, he was so kind, patient, and easy to work with. I didn’t have many of my songs picked out during our first meeting, and he never once made me feel pressured—he was totally flexible and let me finalize everything just a few days before the wedding, which I appreciated more than I can say.
For cocktail hour and dinner, I gave him just a few artists and a general vibe, and he completely nailed it. It was exactly what I had envisioned without me having to micromanage anything. Then when it came time for the late-night party, I told him we wanted a 2010–2016 house party vibe… and WOW, he delivered. The energy was perfect, and everyone was on the dance floor.
Honestly, I didn’t give him a ton to go off of, but he absolutely crushed every part of it.
One thing that really stood out was how above-and-beyond he went— I had asked about a Bruce Buffer-style intro video from YouTube, and he actually stayed up late the night before the wedding to find one he could download and use just for us. That level of effort meant so much.
Throughout the entire night, everything flowed seamlessly. There were no awkward pauses, transitions were smooth, and his timing was spot on.
If you’re looking for a DJ who is talented, reliable, and genuinely cares about making your day perfect, Maxwell is it. I can’t recommend him enough.

Above and Beyond…The Perfect Wedding Experience
We cannot say enough amazing things about Mike Cataldi with DJ Sounds! From start to finish, he absolutely exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding.
Mike took the time to truly understand the vibe we wanted and brought it to life in a way that was even better than we imagined. His attention to detail and care for our specific requests, both in our planning forms and calls, made us feel completely confident going into the big day.
When little timeline shifts happened (as they always do!), Mike handled everything seamlessly and kept the night flowing perfectly. His guidance, flexibility, and creative suggestions, like incorporating special moments we hadn’t even thought of, made such a difference. One of our favorite touches was how he coordinated with our photographer to help create such a memorable ending to the night with a balcony wave to our guests and bubble Grand Exit.
He also did an incredible job managing the toasts and speeches, making sure everything sounded polished and special. Moments that meant so much to us and our family were handled with such care.
Most importantly, the energy he created was unforgettable. The music, the flow, the atmosphere, everything came together to give us the perfect celebration. Our guests had the best time, and so did we!
If you are looking for a DJ who is professional, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond, Mike is the one. We are so grateful he was part of our day and would recommend him without hesitation!

Words truly can’t describe how incredible our experience was with our DJ! From the very beginning, Gio went above and beyond. Before the wedding, we had a Zoom call where he walked through every detail with us, asking thoughtful questions I hadn’t even considered, all to make each moment feel seamless and special.
On the wedding day, Gio’s energy was unmatched. He was incredibly organized, helped coordinate everything flawlessly, and made the ceremony perfect by providing all the necessary audio equipment and ensuring every speaker and mic transition went smoothly. He truly is one of the most thoughtful and professional vendors we worked with.
He kept our bridal party on track, got the reception started effortlessly, and created such an amazing atmosphere all night long. We are still getting messages from guests about how fantastic the DJ was!

Unforgettable Night!
We had such a great experience with DirectSounds on our wedding day! From the beginning, he really took the time to understand the vibe we were going for and had great suggestions during our consultation — including the CO2 cannon, which ended up being one of the biggest highlights of the night. Our guests absolutely loved it and it made the dance floor so much fun.
On the day of the wedding, our speeches ended up running much longer than we anticipated, which cut into the dancing time more than planned. He handled it seamlessly by adjusting the playlist on the fly so we could still fit in as many great songs and moments as possible. He also helped keep everything on track throughout the evening, which we really appreciated.
Overall, he was professional, flexible, and clearly experienced in reading the room and keeping the energy up. We’re so glad we had him as part of our wedding day and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond to make the night special!

Direct Sounds and DJ Giovanny were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day!
From the pre-planning calls to the actual wedding day, DJ Gio really helped make our night unforgettable. He took the time to understand our dream wedding music and helped it come to life. We had particular songs that we wanted to start at specific times for the grand entrances and the cake cutting and Gio did not miss a single beat!
We added Gio's lights and sound package plus cold sparks, which were 100% worth it and really helped set the tone.
Giovanny brought great vibes and kept the party going strong until the very end. All of our guests, regardless of age, were out on the dance floor with us the whole night.
100% recommend Gio and Direct Sounds for a FUN and AMAZING wedding.

Our DJ Maxwell and Officiant Kevin Were Great!
Direct Sounds was bundled in with our wedding venue and were extremely helpful with planning for our wedding. We met with both our officiant and DJ about a month out after sending our playlists to the DJ and ideas for the ceremony to our officiant and our dream ceremony came to life! Had zero issues with sound or microphones or flow of the ceremony whatsoever! We had such a wonderful time, and Kevin took care of the marriage paperwork which allowed us to sit back and sip champagne to celebrate our marriage while he took care of the rest. Could not recommend DJ Maxwell and Kevin Bernal enough!

We truly can’t say enough amazing things about DJ Matt! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. We honestly thought our family and friends wouldn’t be on the dance floor much — we’re not big dancers — but DJ Matt completely proved us wrong. He kept the energy high and the dance floor packed the entire night!

Our dance floor was LIT!
We couldn't be happier with our wedding DJ, Jeff Jones! He was incredibly easy to work with—professional, friendly, and on his A-Game! Jeff did an amazing job keeping the energy high all night long, and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. (He even let us get up on the DJ booth at one point!) We had a wide variety of music styles and eras, and he blended everything together seamlessly. The transitions were smooth, and the vibe never dropped. Plus, the disco ball and AV setup looked absolutely fantastic and added the perfect touch to the atmosphere. Highly recommend Jeff if you're looking for a DJ who knows how to keep the party going!

Max was so easy to work with, and made our wedding feel like a giant party, which is exactly what we were looking for!! My big request was that he not play the typical songs you hear at every wedding and he nailed it! He was also sooo amazing at reading the crown and feeding off their energy. DJ Giovanny was absolutely the best DJ we could have asked for. All of our guests had the best time and the dance floor was full the whole night. Incredible DJ with a great experience
Maxwell is the DJ for our wedding and all we can say is wow. From the start, he reached out to us way ahead of our wedding date, set the timeline and what was needed. He is extremely attentive to our needs and responses were very very quick. He set us up with what was needed to outline the special day, was flexible in adjusting things, especially very last minute (literally within the hour). His emails for communication were very thorough, detailed and quick. He created a timeline and plan sent to a shared document that we could adjust ourselves as needed which was super nice and convenient for all.
On our special day, everything was setup as scheduled, he was on time, and he controlled what seemed like everything. He timed everything perfectly, and he had a back up plan when one of our things didn't go right (not his fault). He continued to ask of our needs and desires throughout the event. The music variety during the reception was adequate and appropriate to our needs. If there wasn't something we liked, he quickly corrected it. He kept the party alive and that isn't an easy task for our family but he somehow did it. We would definitely recommend him for anyone's event. Great job and glad we had you entertain our event. Having Matt be the DJ for our wedding was the BEST decision we made. It started with our consultation a couple months out and then finally meeting him the day of where he kept us calm and collected about what was next on our agenda.
I could tell his care and attention to detail with making this the perfect day for us as soon as we met with him the day of our wedding. He created a balance of a loving, warm atmosphere to celebrate our wedding along with a fun, electric environment to dance once we got towards the end of the night.
He even helped load our belongings into our getaway vehicle when he didn’t need too.
If you’re looking for a DJ to make the most important day of your life memorable, loving and fun all at the same time - Matt is the guy for you!

Best Company for DJ & Officiant
I can’t brag enough about Mike and John. Mike was our DJ and we requested him after the tasting because he matched us. Then he was so communicative and helpful with the portal and what we wanted. He did everything we asked for and more. He kept us to a schedule and communicated everything, scheduled and last minute, and it didn’t bother him. He was so professional and made us so comfortable and took stress off.
John was the best officiant ever. We chose him because he was Hawaiian and my parents live in Hawaii. Little did we know he would be the best decision for the person to marry us. We spoke with him a week before to go over everything and he made it exactly what we asked for. From our story, to the vows, to our surprise ceremonial puck drop, he was calm, cool, clear, and just perfection.
We received so much feedback and kudos for Mike & John. They were the biggest “they were amazing” the whole night. Thank you for making our day, exactly that… our day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

Maxwell exceeded all expectations with his dynamic and versatile set, from deep house to high-energy EDM and smooth reggaeton beats. What truly set him apart, however, was his professionalism and ability to adapt seamlessly to last-minute changes. Despite a shift in the event schedule, he handled everything with calm precision, ensuring the flow of the night remained uninterrupted and the crowd stayed energized. His responsiveness to the crowd’s energy and willingness to adjust the playlist on the fly kept the atmosphere electric and engaging. The reggaeton tracks were a particular highlight, adding a fun, infectious vibe that had everyone dancing.
In addition to his technical skills, Maxwells communication and coordination with the event organizers were flawless, ensuring that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Dj & mc services with dj bstarr
DJ BSTARR was seriously AMAZING! He brought the energy and the vibes to our wedding with his DJ & MC services. He was hilarious and had all of our guests laughing nonstop. Our wedding would not have been the same without him!❤️

DJ Mike Cataldi did his thing! He communicated well throughout the night and made our wedding night so special! We could not have asked for a more professional DJ. Our guests complimented him the entire night and we can honestly say that it would not have been the same without him! If we had to do it all over again, we would choose DJ Mike everytime!

DJ Mike is THE best!
DJ Mike is AMAZING! Prior to our wedding day we had a half hour meeting with him to go over logistics and ask questions. Fast forward to day of and Mike made it soo easy. He puts his own spin on it and definitely got the party going. He provided his own recommendations on how to do bridal party entrance, first dances and it could not have gone better. We will be recommending DJ Mike to all of our friends and family for their event needs.

We had Gio as our wedding DJ and he was fantastic not only on the wedding night, but in the months leading up to our wedding. He was organized, detailed, and was such a big help! The night of, he played the perfect mix of songs, fantastic remixes, kept the party alive the whole time, and our guests loved him!

The music was PERFECT and every single aspect of his MCing/DJing skills were absolutely incredible! What’s even crazier is B Starr was assigned as our DJ only TWO DAYS prior to the wedding, and he absolutely CRUSHED IT!!! It could not have been any more perfect!!

We could not have asked for a better DJ on our special day. Matt was everything and more! He was so pleasant to work with, a joy to party with and helped us create the most special memories. He played every song we wanted to hear, allowed special moments to happen in the most beautiful way and most importantly— he made sure everyone had an amazing time. Far out exceeded our expectations
It was lovely working with Maxwell for our wedding. He made the process really easy for us and played the songs we really wanted, but at the same time was great at reading the room and improving what songs to bring out. No issues at all. Tony rocked the house!

I booked Direct Sounds for my wedding in October and worked with Gio. He was extremely communicative and has a great energy. Leading up to the big day, he was always available to answer questions and go over the details with me. He also helped customize a Spotify playlist of the songs that would be played during the reception based on our musical interests. He was so attentive the day of and made sure we stuck to the schedule which was extremely helpful. He brought the energy to the reception and had everyone dancing all night! Definitely recommend and would hire him again for another event in the future!

We have nothing but great things to say about Mike! He communicated with us and let us know which event would be coming up next. Perfect and packed dance floor!
DJ Maxwell was our DJ/MC at my wedding at Gather Estate and executed my vision perfectly! The night went better than I could have ever imagined and he did an amazing job jeeping the energy high! My guests could not stop talking about how fun and how good the music was and the dance floor was packed all night!! Maxwell listened to exactly with how I wanted with my grand entrance and first dance songs as well as even taking some last minute requests/changes. Can't say enough good things about him and Direct Sounds, thank you! :)

Best experience ever with a DJ!
This DJ company was fantastic, they were recommended by my new wife and my wedding venue.
From the moment we decided to book with them, to the night of our big celebration. They were quick to respond to any question that we had and helped us in every way that we needed, they were very clear, professional and personable. My wife and I had put together a playlist of songs that we were ready to have played, the list was mixed professionally and each transition between songs was flawless.
DJ Tony was our DJ and when our officiant fell through due to travel issues, he stepped up to the plate immediately and couldn’t be happier to play that part for our big day. He was very clear and demonstrated any changes that he thought would be beneficial for the smooth transition from the provided officiant to him, he was clear with the questions he had and was very patient with both of our families. As well as helping to keep everything on track for the timeline that we had in place.
10/10, would recommend.
