DJ Gio with Direct Sounds made our wedding a blast! He read the room and kept the crowd dancing. Our dance floor was never empty! Direct Sounds had great communication and had an easy online form to fill out details of your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner music and reception music. Our music consultation just before the wedding, sealed in all the details. To this day, I can’t think of anything that went wrong with our sound or music. I never worried about order of events, he was on top of everything and kept us on schedule. We got many compliments on the music. When we told him we wanted a party vibe he suggested up lighting. It definitely stepped up the vibe!! We would hire Direct Sounds again in a heart beat. -

we chose BSTARR for our wedding DJ and he completely exceed all expectations! SO personable, funny, entertaining, sweet, and just the best in every way! He met with us a few times and got the vibe that we were going for and helped us plan our day accordingly! He knows exactly how to keep a crowd entertained and engaged. he had everyone on the dance floor all night!! he was singing and dancing with all our friends and family too! everyone has raved about him to us since our wedding! all of my friends want him for their weddings in the future!! there was never a dull moment with BSTARR!! You seriously will not regret having BSTARR at your wedding!!! 1000/10 recommend!!! We love you BSTARR! - the Bolte’s!!! -

Israel was very helpful even before the day of the wedding as I had missed a form and he kindly reminded me about it and was open to any last-minute song changes we had. His music selection during dinner was great and kept it at an appropriate volume. During the dancing he was very responsive to the feedback and minor changes we requested without any pushback or trying to undermine us, and being bilingual helped our Spanish-speaking guests request songs as well. Overall, a great DJ! Additionally, the photobooth we also hired from them was a great addition that people really loved! The only critique about the photo booth was that the date of our wedding was cut off at the bottom fo the photostrip, if they fix that, it's perfect. -

We couldn't have been more thrilled with the DJ services provided by Direct Sounds for our wedding at Stonebridge Manor. Our DJ, Giovanny, was an absolute standout. From the outset, Giovanny exhibited a willingness to collaborate and ensure our day was exactly as we envisioned.
Communication was seamless throughout the planning process, and Giovanny expertly adhered to our song preferences, even navigating around our "do not play" list flawlessly. It was impressive to see him honor our requests, even when faced with guest song suggestions that didn't align with our vision.
Moreover, Giovanny's consideration extended to the volume of the music, which was a specific concern for me due to noise sensitivity. He struck the perfect balance, ensuring everyone could enjoy the music without it being overpowering.
One of the many standout qualities of Giovanny was his remarkable flexibility. Despite my last-minute indecision regarding specific songs for key moments of the evening, such as the cake cutting and entrance music, Giovanny remained patient and supportive, working with me to finalize the details without any added stress.
It wasn't just us who noticed Giovanny's exceptional service; numerous guests also took the time to compliment his performance, further affirming his talent and professionalism.
In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend Direct Sounds, and particularly Giovanny, for any wedding or event. His dedication, flexibility, and skill set him apart, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all involved. -

Okay so I’ve been to many weddings in my time and they’re usually mid. People have a good time but not too much of a good time right? WELL, I can assure you that is not how our wedding went. DJ Giovanni ATE AND LEFT NO CRUMBS!!!!!! When I tell you our dance floor was packed until they were kicking us out I mean it. Communication = amazing, music choice = superb, vibes = all time high. I will forever relieve our wedding night it was the best night of our entire lives!!!! I (bride) was out there dancing with the vendor staff, girl we threw it down!
ALSO, we had our officiant Noah from direct sounds. Our ceremony was short, sweet, and absolutely beautiful. Noah did an excellent job and did exactly what we asked for! We had family members asking if he was a friend of ours. I mean seriously incredible company people. Hire them already!!!!! -

Absolutely awesome. And that doesn't even do DJ MAC D justice. He was absolutely brilliant and turned our reception into a dance party we didn't want to end. We had so many guests comment that this was the best DJ they'd ever had at a wedding. His song selection was great and he even executed exciring transition between almost every song.
Aside from the reception, he worked with us on curating songs for other portions of the event and even went as far to make some special edits to our procession and first dance song.
He was very responsive and generally a great dude. 10/10! -

I recently had the pleasure of working with Direct Sounds for my wedding, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. From start to finish, they exhibited the utmost professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail that made the entire process so much easier and stress-free.
Matt, who DJ'd and MC'd our wedding, was absolutely fantastic. He was personable, engaging, and kept the crowd entertained throughout the entire night. He seamlessly transitioned between songs and kept the energy high, which was exactly what we were looking for.
All in all, I would highly recommend Direct Sounds to anyone looking for a top-notch DJ service. They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you so much for everything! -

we are so thankful to have had Jason as our DJ/MC!!
he was so flexible in working with us on our playlists for the night, provided us with an amazing first dance experience and knew how to keep the party alive! numerous amounts of our guests relayed how this was the "best wedding ever" thanks to him! if anyone is looking for a fun party atmosphere for their wedding night be sure to book with Jason. -

Cannot recommend DJ Gio enough!! He kept the dance floor full the entire night, every single song was a hit and he knew exactly what to play to keep the vibes going! We are so thankful we went with DJ Gio for our big day!
