Dina Alon did a wonderful job on my wedding day. Dina and Lauri Marshall were able to do hair and makeup on 9 people all from a hotel room. They handled everyone’s requests with ease, and everyone looked beautiful. I typically don’t’ wear much in terms of makeup, and Dina was able to give me an “amped up” natural look. Plus the airbrushing truly makes a big difference in giving a natural feel but helps hide any redness, imperfections, etc. In addition, my hair held the whole day even with the high winds that Mother Nature decided to throw our way. Dina truly has a gift and should be used for everyone’s hair and makeup needs. -

I had a full trial a few months before the wedding where she patiently tried multiple hair styles with me, which made me feel very confident and excited for her to do my hair and makeup. On the day of the wedding I even totally changed how I wanted my makeup and she easily adjusted and made my makeup look perfect! -

Dina and all of her staff and incredibly talented and they did an amazing job with everyone's hair. They are so nice and made us all feel relaxed and beautiful on a very exciting and nerve provoking day. I would definitely recommend Dina and her team!

She works with brides all the time and even some celebrities for TV and fashion shows, and she is great at what she does. Dina and one of her assistants came to my hotel / venue to do my bridal hair and makeup and also some of my bridal party. I could not have been happier with how my hair and makeup turned out! She takes feedback really well and her mantra is "as long as the bride is happy I'm happy" which is exactly what you want to hear on your wedding day.
Her and her team do hair and makeup in the salon at 20th and Sansom or come on site at no additional charge. I had been to Dina as a bridesmaid in a friend's wedding and also as a bride for my own and would recommend her services to anyone! -

User1305036 Sent on 08/28/2013I will forever be grateful to Carolyn Barrett for her amazing work on my wedding day. We did a trial run for my engagement photos a few months before and, although I loved the makeup and the photos came out great, it was darker than I am used to. I requested a more natural look for my wedding day and she absolutely nailed it. I brought her photos I found of the hair and makeup look I was going for, and she matched it perfectly. I have the most beautiful wedding photos thanks to her. My husband loved it, too! It is a bit expensive, but well worth it for your wedding day. The "airbrush" technique they use at Dina Alon is amazing. It covers every last flaw! -
User1831419 Sent on 09/26/2014Dina and her team did a fantastic job with hair and makeup for my wedding. Ashley and Tiffany did hair and makeup for both bridesmaids and two mothers. They listened to what each person wanted and executed it wonderfully; for those who did not know what they wanted they did a great job of finding the right look for them. They gave suggestions and were very helpful but never pushy, and no one looked overdone.
They arrived promptly, helped set up the hotel room where we were getting ready in an efficient manner, and had everyone finished in time.
Dina was a complete pleasure to have as my hair/makeup artist. Aside from being a generally outgoing, friendly, and funny person, she was completely competent and confident, taking away any wedding-day anxieties. The first hair look she did looked very nice, but I told her I wanted it "a little more fancy." She knew exactly what I meant and the second try was perfect! At my makeup trial I didn't even have to tell her the initial eye makeup she applied seemed too harsh for me - she immediately noticed I made a face and corrected it to something softer. My makeup looked perfect all day and night, and my hair stood up to humidity, the hora, and dancing.
Overall, Dina and her team did an outstanding job. She charged slightly more than other salons in the area for her services, but I think it was well worth it! -
User1622697 Sent on 05/18/2014Carolyn at Dina Alon has been my stylist for years, and when I told her about my wedding, she agreed to travel to West Chester, PA to where I was getting married to do my hair and makeup. We had five ladies in all getting their hair and makeup done. Carolyn and her assistant Tiffany arrived on time at 8:30 AM to start. People told me to expect all hair stylists to be late in getting everyone ready but this was certainly not the case with Carolyn and Tiffany. Everyone's appointments were on time and everyone looked absolutely stunning. I couldn't have been happier. Thank you, Dina Alon Studio!

User1392926 Sent on 10/22/2013Ashley and Tiffany from Dina Alon did hair and makeup for my entire bridal party, my mom, and my husband's mom on the wedding day. We got ready at my house because it was close to the venue. The ladies from Dina Alon arrived promptly, set up shop in my kitchen, and did an awesome job! I had done a bridal trial with Ashley previously (prior to the shower/bachelorette party day). I liked the look and my hair and makeup stayed put all day, but I wanted to make some adjustments for the wedding. Ashley took note of my requests, made some suggestions, and I wound up with hair and makeup that I loved. I would highly recommend the ladies from Dina Alon for any formal event.
