Oh what a night!

Where to begin...Diane McIntosh and her entire entourage are the best ever! They recently put on an AMAZING show at our event. They looked and sounded awesome. Their show was full of great singing, dancing, and the greatest hits from Motown along with other hits that spanned several decades. Sooo much talent and so much fun. Can't wait for the chance to see them again!!

Simply Amazing!

We loved working with Diane McIntosh. She is truly gifted with an amazing voice. She can literally sing ANYTHING! She was easy to reach and very accommodating when it came to our special song requests. Her performance of the songs we requested her to sing was perfect and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful her voice is (my grandmother couldn't stop talking about how one of the songs she sang brought her to tears).

Aside from her amazing talent, one thing that really stood out for us was that we felt she genuinely cared about WHO WE WERE and what we wanted for our wedding. She was very quick to respond to any questions we had leading up to our big day. Would absolutely recommend in a heartbeat.

Wonderful!

We cannot say enough great things about Diane McIntosh and her band. Diane was extremely helpful during the planning stages. She was always easily accessible and quick to return calls and emails throughout the process, with lots of great tips along the way. That voice of hers is amazing, and her band members are also incredibly talented. We were so pleased with the entire experience that I had to call her personally to thank her for a wonderful and memorable evening!

Phenomenal!

We absolutely love them!! They bring so much energy, and people were up dancing and singing the entire night. Diane was extremely professional and organized during the entire planning process. She is exceptionally talented, with an amazing group of musicians and performers. We enjoyed every minute of their performance. They played exactly the types of songs we loved and it made the whole night that much more magical.

Marvelous!!!

Where do I begin...Diane McIntosh and her entire entourage are the best ever. My husband and I got married earlier this year (January 12, 2019), and we are STILL getting comments about how amazing they were. Diane was very helpful and accommodating, and always accessible when we had questions or needed suggestions...and what an incredible voice she has!!! They absolutely honor special song requests, and learned three new songs for our first dance, daughter/father, son/mother dances. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, with many of our guests singing along with them throughout many of the songs. They provided us with warm, wonderful, fun memories that will last a lifetime...and for that we will always be grateful!

Best Band Ever!

Diane McIntosh and her band are the best of the best!! They are AMAZING!!! Diane was so easy to connect with, and was quick to answer any questions that we had. She was very accessible and easy to communicate with from the very beginning. She was especially helpful in walking my mom and I through every detail beforehand, including our itinerary, important announcements and special song requests. If you want a magical, fun rocking evening, this is your band! This is the difference between a good experience and a GREAT experience!

One Word - Awesome!!!

We couldn't have chosen a better band for our wedding. We saw them at a previous wedding and knew immediately that we wanted them for our wedding. Diane's talent is amazing as are the members of her band. She was very attentive to details and VERY quick to respond to emails and phone calls. They learned two selections specifically for our wedding and performed them beautifully. The energy in the room was never-ending and the dance-floor was packed the entire night. To top it off, at the end of the evening, they played a wonderful send-off for us that we will never forget! We absolutely LOVED them. Highly recommended.

Wonderful!!

They were a fantastic band for our wedding. Diane was very professional and easy to work with. I asked for an upbeat Motown set, and boy did they deliver. Our guests were dancing and singing with them. They had us on the floor all night and everyone had a blast! Diane was great at interacting with the crowd. She has such good energy, and SO much talent! She checked in with us and our coordinator prior to the wedding to confirm the order of events, pronunciations of names, etc. Additionally, the songs the band learned for us were played and sung beautifully. Everyone at our wedding, all ages, loved the variety of music they played!

Loved them!

We cannot stop talking about this band and neither can our guests! Diane was wonderful to work with. Very gracious and personable. She consistently stayed in touch to make sure that our needs were met. She was able to work up a set list that was very specific to our requests. She and her band got our guests off their feet early on, and kept the party going until the end. Even after our time was up, they played a quick encore after our guests were cheering for one song!! We would definitely hire them again without question. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Diane McIntosh Band knocked it out of the park. The quality of music and vocals was phenomenal. Adding horns truly takes the music to another level. Everyone from our daughter's wedding raved about their performance. Some said when they walked into the reception, that they thought a recording was on, only to see the band and Diane singing! They kept the dance floor filled all evening as they played fabulous dinner music before the festivities began. Diane also worked closely with us to make sure all of our requests were met, which created a truly magical evening for our daughter. As the parents of the bride, we can’t recommend them enough.

knows how to connect with the crowd. She and the band definately kept everyone dancing the entire night. Our guests

5 stars across the board. We had the 7 piece band with trombone and trumpet player. It was everything we wanted for our wedding and everyone, young to old, was on the dance floor the entire time! Diane was a pleasure to work and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect, including visiting the reception venue on her own to look at the space before the big day. The music quality and song selection were both top notch. I cannot recommend this band enough!! My wedding is a precious memory and Diane and her band were a huge part in that.

Great job at our April wedding. Extremely professional and great performer. Ms. McIntosh contacted us prior to wedding to prepare. Easy to work with and exceeded our expectations for this very special occasion. Highly recommend her for wedding band.

We loved this band! I had seen them play years ago at a wedding and always remembered them and knew i wanted them for my band! i was super pleased with their performance at our wedding. They learned songs that we wanted played thru the night that were not on their set list. Diane is also very responsive to emails and easy to get in touch with. Overall great experience and our crowd danced all night.

The Diane McIntosh Band was FANTASTIC!! My husband and I viewed multiple bands for our wedding and they were definitely the perfect choice. They play an awesome mix of genres and really interacted with our guests. They played great party hits that everyone knew and danced to, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. They were more than willing to learn a few songs just for us, and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as everyone else. Diane was always very quick to respond to our many questions. Everyone raved about them and we would highly recommend them for any event. We can't thank them enough for being such an important part of making our wedding day awesome!!!

The Diane McIntosh Band was the perfect choice for our wedding - exceeding all of our expectations. Being from the west coast it was initially difficult to find the perfect band for our Atlanta wedding. We couldn't have made a better choice. Diane was fantastic. She met with us at the venue beforehand and worked with us to help maximize the space confinements to ensure that everyone would have a blast. She was professional, flexible and extremely talented. She sang so beautifully during our first dance that it brought my mother to tears. Her band is also a group of very talented musicians, who helped make our wedding truly special!

We recently had the Diane McIntosh band play for our daughter's December wedding and they were wonderful. Seven years ago, they also played for our oldest daughter's wedding and we knew they would do a great job but they were even better the second time around. The instruments and vocalists were amazing! Diane and her band's variety of music and entertaining personalities kept the dance floor crowded the entire reception. Our friends and family haven't stopped telling us how much they enjoyed the music at the wedding reception. Diane is so easy to work with and provides you with an extensive list of music from which to choose, as well as, accommodates any special requests. I can't say enough about how wonderful the Diane McIntosh band is and would highly recommend them for any wedding that you want your guests to thoroughly enjoy themselves!

Diane McIntosh and her band did a tremendous job at our event. The energy and versatility they project is unmatched. Diane sings flawlessly and really knows how to connect with the crowd (her Michael Jackson renditions were a highlight)!
They did a great job of mixing the music up to include current songs, as well
as some older, traditional songs. They kept everyone on the dance floor
throughout the night!

Diane McIntosh Band was the biggest reason our wedding was such a success.
I can't recall a moment that the dance floor wasn't completely full of guests dancing. Their musical demeanor appealed to everyone in attendance. I strongly recommend this band without hesitation. They were professional, looked great, and sounded incredible. A special moment for us was the first dance. It's been our favorite song since we first started dating and they were so accommodating in performing that for us.

They sounded great and added a ton of energy and atmosphere to our wedding. It was wonderful how Diane interacted with our guests, stepping out from the front to dance and sing with the crowd - it felt like we were all partying together rather than watching a performance. They were the best thing about our wedding. They absolutely rocked the house!

Diane McIntosh and her band were a great addition to our wedding. All of our guests enjoyed the music and kept asking how and where we found them. I had actually seen them at a friend's wedding in Charleston and they were excellent! I knew I wanted to book them for my wedding, and I contacted Diane immediately after setting my wedding date. She was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process, and through every step, we were always on the same page. And that voice of hers is beyond amazing. They made our wedding day that much more special. I would highly recommend them!

Love the band loved Diane... She has a stunning and elegant voice. She is very responsive and took the time to have numerous calls with me to go over every detail. She is also a great MC and made all of the important announcements at the right time. And despite a rather rigid timeline, they got people up and dancing throughout the night! We spent a lot of time looking for the right band and couldn't have been happier with our decision!

Diane McIntosh Band did such an outstanding job playing at our wedding! They were honestly the best part of the reception! They are unbelievably talented and they kept the guests on the dance floor the entire night. They have many different levels in terms of number of players in the band and price range. We booked the full band with horns and they were fabulous. You pay a bit more, but it is well worth it in the end. Best band EVER!

The Diane McIntosh Band was absolutely amazing. They did a fantastic job, and we really couldn't have imagined it being any better. We received so many compliments on both the music and their energy. Diane was very professional, and her attention to detail made everything go off without a hitch. She is very organized and was very accessible to quickly answer any questions.

Easy to work with, open to learning songs and very responsive. We give the Diane McIntosh Band our highest recommendation

Our wedding night was an absolute smashing success. We loved the Diane McIntosh Band! They are a first rate band that can play anything. Their playlist is extensive and our dance floor was packed all night long. Diane is truly gifted with an amazing talent. One of my groomsmen described her voice as “crystal.” I could not have said it better! Her rendition of our first dance nearly brought us to tears. She was sensitive to our wishes and worked hard to make sure everyone had fun. She also emcees the event and knows just what songs to play at the right time.

Her band members are extremely talented as well. They all seemed to enjoy themselves as much as we did. Many of our guests said it was the best band they ever heard at a wedding. We highly recommend them to anyone who loves good music!!!

The Diane McIntosh Band were absolutely amazing at our wedding reception. We had so much fun dancing the night away, we didn't want it to end. Her song list is very extensive, from Jazz to Motown to Soul to Disco to Top 40, there was something for everyone. Diane was such a joy to work with, always responsive and very accommodating with our various requests. Our guests were blown away by her amazing voice and can't stop talking about what a great time they had dancing. Diane and the band made our reception a night to remember. We can't thank them enough for giving us the best night of our lives!

Diane and her band are an incredibly talented group that gave us a night to remember at our wedding reception. We live out of state, and had not seen them perform before, and decided to take a chance after looking and listening to their website. It was the best decisions we made. We were so happy with their performance, and professionalism. They played a huge variety of music, and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating to our requests. They also honored our “do not play” requests. They exceeded all of our expectations, and had people dancing till the very end. We could also carry on conversations without yelling over the music.

Diane was a pleasure to work with, from the first phone call to the many emails during a year of wedding planning. She showed a personal interest in us, our style, music preferences, and special needs. She responded immediately to all of our questions. During one of our visits to Atlanta prior to the wedding, she even made time to personally meet with us to review all of the details. And we were in awe of her voice. We loved her smooth style during their easy-listening dinner set and her power and energy during the dance music. I specifically requested some Whitney Houston songs and WOW! Her voice is truly amazing!! I'm a picky person and these guys blew me and my husband away. They have so much energy, and they really got our guests moving. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Diane and her band were energetic and talented. They interacted with the audience and tried to make sure everyone was having fun. Their music was very danceable. They also took special requests. We are incredibly happy with how the music turned out at our wedding, and we would recommend the Diane McIntosh Band to anyone!

Future Brides can't go wrong with choosing this band. They were so much fun....they allowed this Texas bride and her sister to join them on stage to sing and rap their hearts out! You would have thought that Diane had staged the entire production. She was so gracious to indulge us that night and actually sing back-up to us! They made all of the guests pull out some dance moves even they didn't know they had. All the songs were sung with such passion and each one of us danced unforgettable night away! We are still talking about the band, I think that says it all. I would use them all over again!

The Diane Mcintosh Band is by far, the MOST AMAZINGLY SPECTACULAR band we've ever heard at a wedding!

From the very start, Diane went the extra mile to make our special day perfect - she quickly answered emails, worked with us to finalize the perfect song list, learned a new song for my husband and I's "first dance" song (a meaningful song for us), and she, and all of her band members, were amazingly enthusiastic, friendly, and engaging. The result was a night perfectly tailored to what we has asked for.

Diane got the crowd involved from the very beginning, and truly made the night as perfect as it was! All of the guests RAVED the next day - thanks Diane!

Diane McIntosh and her band did such an amazing job at our wedding reception and exceeded our expectations in every way! We received so many nice compliments on our wedding, especially about the musical entertainment. We literally had the best time of our lives that night and they were an essential part in making that happen. Diane is incredibly gracious and sweet, and can really sing (and will learn new songs in a short amount of time to accommodate a couple's requests!) Her dancers were awesome too--they, along with Diane, did a Michael Jackson set at our request and blew everyone away! My husband still maintains that we should have kept the party going till 1:00 am...everyone was just having so much fun! We hope to one day make enough money to be able to throw lavish parties and hire them again to entertain Until then, we will revel in the memories from our wedding reception that was made perfect by the Diane McIntosh Band—we can’t thank them enough for giving us the time of our lives!

Diane and her band have definitely set the standard for live performances, with their professionalism, personalization and talent. This is truly a wonderful band on and off stage. From initial contact, Diane was very prompt and easy to reach by phone and email. She immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable working with her.
She was also very thorough in directing the details of the reception and really got people moving out on the dance floor. She is truly gifted with a gorgeous voice.
Another big plus was their large song selection which included something for everyone. The diversity of genres the band can play is very impressive. They played every song that was requested, and then learned additional songs that were not on their list. Many of the songs they played sounded even better than the original! They were amazing!!!

Our decision was based on level of professionalism, musical ability, and variety of music. We were concerned that our reception might be very difficult due to the amount of cues and short plays and breaks that we were requesting, so we had to choose a band that was capable of meeting our specific and unusual needs. Diane was fantastic about working with us and helping us deal with issues as they came up.

The music was fantastic and Diane’s voice is fabulous. We were so touched to be able to dance to the song we requested and it sounded fantastic. They are very versatile and outstanding musicians that play a wide variety. There was something for everyone. They were professional, courteous, and went out of their way to play any song we requested. We were blown away by their stage presence and their talent. They are so much fun and will make your event one to remember!

Diane McIntosh and her band are AMAZING! I wanted true, amazing talent - a voice that would bring tears to my eyes, and she was it. Her voice is just beautiful. As soon as she started singing “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” for our first dance, the entire room just froze!

We watched their videos and knew they were good, but that did not compare to how talented this band is! They played everything from Motown to R&B, Funk, Pop and some classic Rock. I don’t know anyone who can play and sing ANYTHING - from Roberta Flack, all the way to ACDC, but they did and it seemed effortless. All of our requests were played, and they also included some great current songs that we were not even expecting.

Diane was always prompt in returning my calls, and was very specific in answering my questions about song requests, and when to incorporate things like toasts and cake cutting, so that we could maximize our dancing time. We really wanted lots of dancing and that is exactly what we got! They are full of energy and know how to pack the dance floor. By the end of the night we still did not want it to end, but our limo was waiting. This is a PREMIUM band. We could not have been happier!!!

Loved the Diane McIntosh Band for so many reasons:
1. So much talent, what a voice coming out of that little body of Diane's
2. So much fun to dance to, everyone was on the dance floor!
3. So generous, both daughters sang with and w/o Diane on the stage
4. So entertaining, you could tell they love what they do!
5. So worth every penny, money can never buy the sounds that came out of all the talented performers!
I will forever be indebted to them for the Brilliant time they shared with our family and guests!

Diane and her band were SO VERY MUCH FUN. They are wonderful musicians and Diane's voice is to die for. They are play any type music and play them all well. I cannot say how much EVERYONE (all ages)enjoyed them and are still talking about them. If you want a GREAT band....Diane McIntosh is worth every penny and more! EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT!!!!!!!

I heard the Diane McIntosh Band at a friend's wedding and knew I wanted her to play at mine when I got married. 3 years later, I tracked her down and they were AWESOME!!!!! I hear a new compliment on my reception band every day. Diane quickly responded to calls and emails, was very easy to deal with, and was a stress relief for me because of her professionalism. I highly, highly recommend them to any bride or event coming up. they played EVERY song I asked and was willing to learn any new song I had a request for. I'm telling you, these guys are a 15 out of 10!!!! You will be happy you have them as your band!

The Diane McIntosh Band was outstanding in every way. They really knew what songs to play to keep everyone on the dance floor. Diane was very good about answering all the questions we had and the band sounded fantastic. If you are in need of a wedding band that knows how to have great crowd involvement as well as sounds great, then the Diane McIntosh Band is a great option that I would reccommend to any Bride/Groom.

The Diane McIntosh Band performed at my daughter’s wedding. They were amazing. They had a great variety of music. Our guests danced all night. Every member of her band was extremely talented. We added one saxophone player, he, like the rest of the band was fantastic. Diane was very professional, great to work with. Every request that we had was done. Our guests commented all evening about how much they loved the band. I would recommend Diane to anyone. When planning an event in the future, she’ll be the first person that I will call. I can’t say enough good things about her and her band. She helped to make our event perfect.

The Diane McIntosh Band was AMAZING at our wedding! They play a wide variety of jazz, rock, 80s, current music, and more. Diane is super sweet and was wonderful to work with before the wedding as well. They were able to keep everyone dancing on our dance floor all night long! We received so many compliments from our guests that they loved our band and had a blast during the reception because of the great music! They also kept track of all the songs we requested to be played (and not played) during the night. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding or special event band! They are AWESOME!

The Diane McIntosh Band was an absolute hit at our wedding reception! We wanted a band that could perform a little bit of everything including motown, jazz, rock and pop. We definitely made the right choice! Diane has an AMAZING voice and the band is excellent. We decided to add a saxophone player and felt like that added a really nice touch. The band always seemed to know what to play and when to play it. They started off with some nice jazz to bring in our guests and then worked there way into the classic motown and rock. The band had everyone out on the dance floor and Diane was great about getting all of our guests involved. We are so glad that we booked such a wonderful band and would highly recommend the Diane McIntosh Band!

Diane and her band did an excellent job at my wedding!! I had a large variety fo age groups in attendance so I was worried about the entertainment. Diane kept my guest on their feet all night...my husband and I never sat down from being on the dance floor (and I'm usually not the dancing type). Many of our guests commented on the band and how great they were. I would definitely recommend the band for your wedding...worth every penny. Don't go with a DJ...take it a notch up and do the live music...you won't regret it! :-)

Even when the wedding reception was over...Diane was still performing and my mom had to tell her that it was okay to stop :-)

My ONLY complaint is that the band did not know ANY Curtis Mayfield songs. Soooo sad! I had to dance my first dance to Etta James "At Last" I have nothing against Etta but I really would've wanted the spirit of Curtis Mayfield's "So In Love" :(

We booked the Diane McIntosh Band sight unseen, based on price and the performance videos on her website. Simply put: It was a mistake.

My bride and I were overwhelmingly disappointed with the band's uneven performance at our wedding this weekend. And as I write this review, I will make a point to be fair.

-- Diane did a good job of reading the crowd, and when people were reluctant to dance, she went to the old standby -- The Electric Slide -- to get people on the floor.

-- She is also a fine singer and stayed in key throughout the night, as the evening wore on.

However, she approached our wedding as something other than the once-in-a-lifetime event that it was. For her, it might as well have been a fly-by-night roadside motel gig in the sticks of Atlanta.

We provided Diane with a short playlist of requested songs, which she must have considered optional. The majority of the songs we asked for were never played. When I approached her during the reception about playing a block of salsa songs we requested, she looked at me cluelessly.

The fact that she missed these songs speaks to her general lack of preparation. Worse than that, though, was the tacky way she introduced my father's toast; her unnecessary talking in between songs; and a general lack of grace and professionalism.

... And then there were the four minutes of complete silence as we cut the cake! As I looked to Diane for music, her back was turned as she was fiddling with lyric sheets. Unacceptable.

Had we known in advance the uneven level of performance, we never would have booked The Diane McIntosh Band. They are a decent band for the money, but be warned.

I expected more for the money and was disappointed. I would suggest going to see her perform at a wedding, I did not feel she accurately represented herself on her videos. She did not take requests, and I learned that several members of the band had not performed together before which caused choppy performance. I had complaints from guests about her professionalism. She started late, I found a band member "resting" in our master bedroom (unacceptable), she disappeared often, and overall did not meet my expectations. Everyone's expectations are different. I wish I had done my homework, I would have selected a different band.
