  We had our wedding with Destination Kohler in September 2016. We spent 5 days enjoying everything the venue has to offer and did not have to worry once. We organized our wedding to be a mini destination (from Chicago) weekend for our guests and Kohler exceeded our expectations with every event. We held a Golf Lunch, Rehearsal Dinner and Cocktail Reception at Blackwolf Run. The lunch was complete with a dedicated driving range and two very accommodating instructors who spent time giving our guests tips on their golf swing. Both our Rehearsal Dinner and Cocktail Reception were held in the Enclosed Terrace - the food and service were amazing and we received constant compliments on the space. We had our Ceremony and Reception at Whistling Straits and when unexpected rain interrupted our outdoor ceremony, everyone on staff was quick to pass out umbrellas and move our wedding party and guests inside. I could not be more impressed with how quickly they help us change plans and got everyone settled!
  From the moment we chose Kohler, everything was taken care of and it is because of their staff that we truly had the chance to enjoy our wedding.

  Destination Kohler offers many options to allow every couple to plan their perfect wedding day! The facility is beautiful. The grounds and buildings are immaculate. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, prompt, accommodating and caring. The American Club is beautiful, elegant, magical and enchanting!
  We very highly recommend the American Club of Kohler, Wisconsin. Ryan-Kirk Bautista and Nicole Fischer went above and beyond all expectations!

  The American Club provided 5 star first class serivce for my sisters wedding! I have been in many weddings over the past few years and nothing has compared to what we received from the Ameican Club; staff was helpful, polite and accommodated every need and ensured we were enjoying ourselves. Thanks for making her dream come true!

  Effortless attention to detail made our Kohler wedding truly magical. Ryan, Amelia and their colleagues all went above and beyond to welcome and assist us from the moment we began planning, to walking down the aisle, to celebrating our first New Year together nine months later.
  Our wedding was an intimate family affair with 20 guests, at least half of which were discerning foodies. Kohler admirably rose to the challenge with a champagne reception in their English greenhouse followed by an amazing 3 course meal with wine in their Founder's Room. They helped us stay within our small budget yet treated us like royalty; even while managing a fussy vegetarian and an unusual food allergy.
  Coordination between all areas made our day stressfree; floral arrangements, bridal party spa treatments and even groomsmen morning excursions all flowed smoothly and were thoroughly enjoyable. Kohler has a wide range of activities to suit all, even in the depths of a Wisconsin March.
  While very early communications may feel slow to the couple, immediate responses weren't necessary and as time progressed their dedication to making it your relaxing and perfect wedding is unsurpassable.
  We highly recommend Kohler for any wedding.

  Amazing wedding location!
  We are from Chicago and decided to do an "out of town" wedding in a place drivable. We used a variety of spaced during the weekend.
  We had the rehearsal dinner in the Irish Barn at Whistling Straits. Food was amazing, and they were very flexable with us on space, numbers, and setting up various A/V equipment.
  We had our ceremony at The Irish Barn at Whistling Straits (you can use this space for ceremony if you are out by 4 pm for extra $) and rented the Champions Locker Room to get ready in (bringing our hair and make-up ppl). We had food catered in for the wedding party. We chose this as a ceremony location over the courtyard at the Resort because 1- looks kinda like a church 2- this space can be used in rain or shine so didn't have to worry about weather, and 3- the courtyard ceremony space at the A Club doesn't have an actual aisle.
  We had the reception and cocktail hour at The American Club. The outdoor cocktail hour in the courtyard was amazing. It even rained for a few minutes and everyone just took cover while the bartenders served. The reception was georgous. The ballroom is perfect. I was concerned it would be too dark (especially the carpet), but with the right flowers and lifhting, room was amazing. We brought in our florist from Chi but I'm sure the florist there is great, too. Everything we wanted and asked for happened. The weekend was a great time.
  We did a Sunday brunch at Blackwolf run- georgous!
  Suggestions if you are planning your wedding: remember they have many many events going on there- you may not hear back re: questions, etc as quickly as you want. Don't worry- all will come together perfectly! If you want different chairs, linnens, etc, you have to manage ordering all that on your own. We had a separate wedding planner which was well worth it. Make hotel reservations well in advance (encouarge your guests!). Also, remember it's an expensive resort- all extras can add up.
  Overall- lived up to our dreams!

  The grounds are beautiful. The services and staff friendly and helpful.
  I agree with the comments about the wedding planners. We had a total of three due to staff turnover. The time before the wedding was a bit stressed due to this.
  
  I would have rated it a five/ five but for that.
  
  Our guests saw none of that. Almost every guest told us it was the nicest wedding and best food they ever had.
  
  It was well worth our time and money.

  Was outstanding for decor and the customer service when we were there was amazing but in working with the wedding coordinators themselves, things moved slowly and they overcharged for multiple items.

  They are a 5-star hotel but don't expect 5-star service. Expect to follow up on emails multiple times and double check everything. (On top of everything, the flavor of my cake was also wrong.) If not for my outside wedding planner, the event would have been a mess.
