Samirah did all of the flowers for our wedding and she was FANTASTIC! Very professional, informative, and patient! She listened to what we had to say and helped us achieve the exact look we wanted for our wedding. I was absolutely thrilled with the flowers that Samirah created for my fall wedding. Samirah is extremely talented and really "gets it" when it comes to modern arrangements. I came to my initial meeting with Samirah with some ideas but she took everything to the next level. She really listened and understood exactly the look I was trying to achieve. She offered her own suggestions which were gorgeous, practical and an improvement on my initial ideas. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Designs in Bloom. Of all my wedding details, I got the most compliments on my flowers, people were guessing that I had paid thousands and I didn't. Samirah is very reasonable with her costs. Samirah was AMAZING! I can't tell you how many times throughout the planning process I felt the need to say "I love my florist". I have already recommended her to all of my friends that are getting married and I really can't say enough for her. She was so much fun to work with and had so many great ideas. She ended up using way more flowers than we paid for and really just went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! She knew I didn't want green leaves in my bouquet so she went out of her way to find me deep purple leaves that she knew would look better. And I was so impressed when I got a phone call days before the wedding because she had an idea that she thought I would love (which I did! A lot!). Most vendors would have just filled out an agreement and be done with it, but Samirah was constantly thinking about how to make everything the absolute best it could be and really made me feel like my wedding was the most important event in the world.
The day of the wedding I was completely blown away by the flowers, everything was so much better than I had imagined. It is very obvious that Samirah takes great pride in what she does and won't rest until every little detail is perfect! Thank you Samirah!!

Samirah was one of the first wedding vendors I booked for my August 2009 wedding and I am thrilled with how our flowers turned out!!! She literally spent hours with me in person planning out every single detail of my flowers so that they would be perfect! On our wedding day (and days before) she went ABOVE and BEYOND setting up our flowers, making sure every single detail was impecable! The flowers were absolutely stunning and really provided the impact I was looking for! Having Samirah as my florist was such a pleasure! Before I met with her I thought that choosing the floral arrangements would be overwhelming. She made the process smooth by giving suggestions based on the hall, my colours and style. She was also willling to work within our budget and keep costs down. I loved the option of purchasing the vases for the centerpices so that guests could go home with the beautiful flowers and they weren't wasted. We got so many wonderful compliments on all of the flowers!
