Samirah is a wonderful artist and truly a joy to work with. Her professionalism does not interfere with her enthusiasm. She listens and creates the bride's vision perfectly! I would recommend Designs in Bloom to anyone wanting to make their special occasion perfect! We wanted the 'wow' factor and Samirah delivered it!

Samirah from Designs in Bloom is the ABSOLUTE BEST in what she does! She has the ability to really understand the vision I had in my head but make it 10x better than what I even envisioned. I LOVED the flowers and arrangements for my wedding. All my guests were so impressed by them. During the ceremony, I know I was supposed to look at my husband-to-be, but my eyes kept wandering to the big flower arrangements in the front. I brought all my table arrangement décor I found at garage sales (they were so mismatched) of old books and silverware and Samirah took the time to arrange them all for me in such a beautiful, brilliant way. I can't even put into words how thankful I was to have found her- she was so easy and fun to work with, it was like working with your best friend!

Samirah is lovely and so nice to work with. She understood exactly what I wanted and created the most stunning floral arrangements for my wedding. Everyone (including me) was blown away by how pretty the flowers were. She also assisted me in my wedding decoration, which I was so grateful for.

I found out about Samirah on the weddingwire website and thought I would contact her to see what she might be able to do for our wedding (we had a budget I was pretty set on). Samirah did the most beautiful flowers at our wedding all within the budget I had set. I had so many compliments! She goes over and above to ensure that you have a beautiful wedding day, has a fantastic eye for detail and gave lots of beautiful and great ideas/suggestions when I wasn't sure. Samirah had such great ideas and was really fun to work with! After our meetings I was super excited about my flowers and on the big day she did not disappoint!!! If you want STUNNING, BEAUTIFUL flowers at a very reasonable cost (especially for what you get), you NEED to contact her!!! I cannot say enough positive things about Designs in Bloom!!

Samirah was AMAZING! I can't tell you how many times throughout the planning process I felt the need to say "I love my florist". I have already recommended her to all of my friends that are getting married and I really can't say enough for her. She was so much fun to work with and had so many great ideas. She ended up using way more flowers than we paid for and really just went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! She knew I didn't want green leaves in my bouquet so she went out of her way to find me deep purple leaves that she knew would look better. And I was so impressed when I got a phone call days before the wedding because she had an idea that she thought I would love (which I did! A lot!). Most vendors would have just filled out an agreement and be done with it, but Samirah was constantly thinking about how to make everything the absolute best it could be and really made me feel like my wedding was the most important event in the world.
The day of the wedding I was completely blown away by the flowers, everything was so much better than I had imagined. It is very obvious that Samirah takes great pride in what she does and won't rest until every little detail is perfect! Thank you Samirah!!

Having Samirah as my florist was such a pleasure! Before I met with her I thought that choosing the floral arrangements would be overwhelming. She made the process smooth by giving suggestions based on the hall, my colours and style. She was also willling to work within our budget and keep costs down. I loved the option of purchasing the vases for the centerpices so that guests could go home with the beautiful flowers and they weren't wasted. We got so many wonderful compliments on all of the flowers!

Samirah was one of the first wedding vendors I booked for my August 2009 wedding and I am thrilled with how our flowers turned out!!! She literally spent hours with me in person planning out every single detail of my flowers so that they would be perfect! On our wedding day (and days before) she went ABOVE and BEYOND setting up our flowers, making sure every single detail was impecable! The flowers were absolutely stunning and really provided the impact I was looking for! Looking back at the pictures I am SO pleased with the work and professionalism of Samirah and I would HIGHLY recommend her to any brides-to-be! She took the time to understand my vision and I felt 100% confident leaving the flowers in her hands!

Samira was wonderful! I chose her because I loved the photos on her website, and I was planning from out of town, it was important to me to see work that she had done. With just a couple of meetings she was able to create gorgeous flowers for me & my girls, and her table arrangements were fabulous! She was great in working with us to get the most we could get with our limited budget. Samira was a professional and she absolutely exceeded our expectations! Our favourite of all our wedding verndors!!!

Anyone who has planned or is in the process of planning a wedding knows what an overwhelming experience it can be. For us, choosing a Florist was one of the most important decisions we had to make. The only decorations we planned to have for our wedding were flowers…lots of flowers!
Once we met Samirah we knew we had chosen the right professional. Her love of what she does simply shines through. The day of our wedding, her skill and attention to detail were evident all around us. All of the arrangements she made were simply STUNNING! The colours were so rich and deep...just what I had envisioned. It was as if Samirah had stepped into my mind's eye and given me exactly what I had always dreamed of.

Samirah had worked at our wedding location many times and was able to make specific suggestions about colour and design while providing pictures from other weddings that had been held there. Samirah provided beautiful flowers for our wedding she was absolutely wonderful in getting us exactly what we wanted and spent as much time talking with us and showing samples as we needed. Her attention to detail and professionalism made our wedding experience flawless. I didn't have to worry about doing anything on the day of our wedding she came and set everything up and made our venue look amazing.
I would readily recommend her to anyone for any major event in their life.

Samirah provided beautiful flowers for our wedding she was absolutely wonderful in getting us exactly what we wanted and spent as much time talking with us and showing samples as we needed. Her attention to detail and professionalism made our wedding experience flawless. I didn't have to worry about doing anything on the day of our wedding she came and set everything up and made our venue look amazing.
I would readily recommend her to anyone for any major event in their life.

I was absolutely thrilled with the flowers that Samirah created for my fall wedding. Samirah is extremely talented and really "gets it" when it comes to modern arrangements. I came to my initial meeting with Samirah with some ideas but she took everything to the next level. She really listened and understood exactly the look I was trying to achieve. She offered her own suggestions which were gorgeous, practical and an improvement on my initial ideas. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Designs in Bloom. Of all my wedding details, I got the most compliments on my flowers, people were guessing that I had paid thousands and I didn't. Samirah is very reasonable with her costs. If you are looking for a floral designer who doesn't skimp on any details and still provides a very affordable service, look no further.
