Fall wedding - amazing

David and his crew were amazing!! You can tell that they really enjoy their job. David was very easy to talk to and took beautiful pictures! David @ D.E.S. Photography runs his business professionally with top-notch quality service. He was ultra-responsive to questions and concerns that came up as we were doing our wedding planning - he was reachable at all times. He also hires personable and fun professional photographers on his team, one which did both our engagement photo shoot & our wedding too (Korin is her name, she was great!). Our overall experience with them was "6" out of 5 as they kept us relaxed, natural, and smiling especially when doing professional photos can be a different experience if its your first time. As for the quality of the photos they produced for us - well let's just say we get a ton of compliments on their work to this day on their professionalism, detail, and quality - and props to them for picking photos that were both romantic & fun for our big day!

David Starke did such a beautiful job on my wedding photos! There are no words to explain, simply stunning photos! He was so flexible and professional! He took gorgeous portraits, and caught so many beautiful moments! He worked with our budget and our time table (my husband desperately wanted to make it to cocktail hour!) David and his assistant were so go with the flow, it made my day so enjoyable! I would recommend David Starke to anyone and everyone!

Finding the right photographer for our wedding day was the most stressful experience of the wedding planning for us. As soon as we met David, we knew we found the right person to do the job. David was very responsive, flexible, and accommodating to all of our needs and concerns. He set us up with Korin as our lead photographer for our engagement shoot and wedding day, and we were also so happy with her and her service to us. All of the photos came out beautifully, and really were able to tell the story of our special day. I would absolutely recommend David and his team to anyone looking for a photographer.

We decided to go with David E. Starke because we have seen his work with some of our friends' weddings, engagements, etc. and his work is always amazing. We were ready to spend whatever we needed to in order to book him and were pleasantly surprised when we received the prices and packages that are available. We had two photographers who were amazing. They were fun and very flexible and could change directions immediately when any issue came up. We got our pictures back very quickly and they look awesome. We were not disappointed with any part of the process and would highly recommend David E. Starke Photography to everyone. You can expect perfection and professionalism all while having a good time.

David was excellent to work with. He was a consistently calming and comfortable presence during my wedding, which I really appreciated. He was flexible with photos, extremely personable, and very professional. He was a great listener - something we found as rare in our search. We felt privileged to have had him be the photographer for our wedding. And the pictures are incredible as well!! Lots of candid shots which really captured some beautiful moments from our night but then also some stunning staged shots. He knew the manor so well - when and where to take each shot. We can't say enough good things! He was such a pleasure to work with and we'd absolutely recommend him to anyone in need!

He made the entire process stress-free and fun starting with our engagement photos. The day of the wedding he arrived super early and kept everyone relaxed and on schedule. We chose not to hire a videographer for our wedding, so it was really important that we hire a great photographer to capture the day. David and his team did not disappoint! What initially struck us was the quality of David’s work - excellent framing, natural staging, fresh takes on classic shots, and quality over quantity.
What made the experience even better was the chance to work with David and his team - Bob & Melissa. David is very patient and calm, which helped reassure us that things were going well and kept everything moving along efficiently. He was very accommodating of suggestions and eager to look for interesting photo opportunities - like taking advantage of a traveling carnival that happened to be at our church that weekend. Throughout it all David was available and accessible, ensuring that we felt comfortable and were prepared for the day. Even on the night of the wedding, he stayed until the very end, capturing the final moments and the close to an amazing evening. We can’t thank them enough - highly recommended!

Working with David and his team was a no brainier! My brother used David for his wedding a few years back, and when it was my turn, I didn't even look to use anyone else. From day one, David was super accommodating and makes you feel so comfortable with the whole process. Our engagement and wedding pictures are beyond amazing! David is absolutely amazing!!! He has an uncanny ability of making everyone around him comfortable no matter how stressful a wedding can be! He has the best ideas and makes you feel like you are taking the most amazing pictures ever even though you may not be the most photogenic person (i.e me and my new husband!)! Choosing David as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made! We have just received our sneak peak and I am pretty much in love with every photo already. We cannot wait to see all of the photos! It will probably take me another year to decide what to get printed! :)

I have to say, being a bride is one of the most stressful times in your life and I was a bride twice! My husband and I had a Hindu wedding and a Catholic wedding so if you can imagine, it was double the expenses, double the stress, and double the decisions. One thing we both agreed on right away was choosing DES for our photography for both days. DES also shot my sister's wedding 2 years ago and after seeing their photos, we were so impressed! We just got our albums back and we couldn't be more happy with how they turned out. We are still getting compliments on our photos from the album we shared on Facebook over a month ago! DES is focused on quality, capturing amazing moments, and they have a keen attention to detail. Highly recommended for any special occasion!

David was a pleasure to work with before, during, and after our wedding! He is a consummate professional while also very easy going. I was stressed out the day of my wedding, but once the photographs started, David took the lead which really put me at ease. Our photos came out beautiful and completely exceeded my expectations. From portraits to party candids, he captured the entire day and every precious moment in-between. He took photos across multiple locations at the venue, all beautiful. I’m still obsessed with my photos and having difficulty narrowing them down for the album – which is a lovely problem to have. I cannot recommend David highly enough!!

We came across David and his team when we attended a family member's wedding. The blended in seamlessly and the result was so beautiful, I knew we had to have them. We met with David initially and we were so impressed by his vision and he was so helpful in giving an idea of the timeline for the day. Korin, Jonathan, and Melissa were our team for the day. We loved them all immediately, they were so kind and captured everything we wanted, and were really fun to be around. Our entire family loved the work they did, and David and his team were able to upload everything quickly and provide our proofs. Our photos are so beautiful, they could not have been better. I highly recommend David and his crew, they were one of our favorite parts (among the many) of our wedding!!

When planning my wedding, my wife and I met with a few different photographers in the local area. David was our last meeting, and we knew right away that he was our guy. David and his crew did a fantastic job photographing our wedding. We really could not be happier with the way the photos came out, and David & crew were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. We never felt like they were in our face. They were extremely easy going and laid back, but personable and you could tell they put their all into the work they do. Let alone the photo quality is beyond excellent! David is top notch and I highly recommend him to everybody. You will not be disappointed.

Flexible, dependable, professional and fun to work with. Our package included wedding day coverage and an engagement session, both of which were easy to schedule. David and one of his assistants were even able to accommodate the long hours of our traditional indian (sikh) wedding which was surprisingly hard to find in American photographers. The pictures came out beautifully and quickly. Service was great - he answered all calls and emails promptly and had great tips to make the day run smoothly. He was also not afraid to step in and handle difficult situations like when my groom and I were bombarded by guests wanting to take a seemingly endless number of personal pictures. He was able to gracefully whisk us away so we could get our portraits done in a timely fashion. David has a knack for making you feel comfortable throughout the process and did a great job of tempering a fairly high maintenance bride. His assistant was also wonderful to work with and her shots were equally gorgeous with an unexpected and intriguing artistic flare. The combo of the two of them left us with so many wonderful pictures that took months to pare down to a reasonable number for inclusion in our wedding album. Packages can be a bit pricey compared to his peers but overall well worth it. I would definitely work with him again for another event.

I couldn't be happier with choosing DES for our wedding. I tend to be very disorganized and planning isn't my forte, and it didn't help I was planning a wedding out-of-state. The photographers at DES were so flexible and calm. They did such an amazing job at keeping me calm in the weeks leading up to the event and were prompt and prepared when they said they would be. During the wedding they were seamlessly circulating the room and got amazing candids of our friends and family. I am in love with the engagement and wedding photos, and would recommend them to anyone getting married in their area.

David was a great photographer to work with. He was very personable during our initial meeting, patient and detailed in explaining the process to us, and most of all, completely accommodating in working with our requests. He and his team were punctual and very friendly throughout the day. For the portraits before the wedding he made sure to get all the shots of the wedding party while at the same time allowing us to relax and enjoy ourselves. During the ceremony and reception they got every picture we could have asked for all while never once being in the way or intruding, and always blending in.

The pictures themselves are excellent. Lots of candid shots of everyone enjoying themselves, which we love and made a point to ask for. As well as great unique long-exposure shots of us in the rain (they're an all-weather team) that have cool color effects.

Along with an album, all pictures are available in digital form, with no watermark, so you can upload everything online and share with everyone and print out as you like. This was the option we wanted most and it's standard for them.

Overall David is a great photographer, and person. By the end of the day we had a couple laughs together and it was a great experience.

David was our photographer for our wedding on 8/15/15. His team did an amazing job taking shots throughout the entire day and I could not ask for more! The quality of the photos was imbeccable, and the service I received before and after the big day were excellent. David and the team were very responsive to any questions I had and even created a "day-of" agenda for me to distribute to our other vendors for planning out the day. We let David have free reign over the shots he took and the vision he saw with our different venues, and it was well worth it to be flexible! I definitely recommend David for any photography services!

My husband and I are so happy we chose David as our wedding photographer!! Our photos turned out absolutely beautiful and we're thrilled with how he captured our day! He was professional and easy to communicate with, but most importantly, he was just so easy to get along with! We felt like he was a friend at our wedding, and he made us very comfortable. He was super quick and efficient during formal portraits, and very discrete at other times. We had some odd requests (stopping at our house with us in between the ceremony and reception for some portraits with our cat!) and he was so accommodating! Overall, he was the ultimate professional, very easy to get along with, and a very talented photographer. We're really happy with our decision and would definitely recommend David!

Finding a photographer as calm, down to Earth, and talented as David Starke is difficult, if not impossible, to find. Upon our first meeting with David my husband and I knew we were in good hands. We loved his approach to photography, which was to capture moments as they unfolded instead of staging them. However, nothing could have prepared us for how breathtaking the pictures were that he took as well as his extreme professionalism the day of our wedding. On our wedding day, David and his team arrived on time and immediately began their creative work. As a bride, I was extremely happy that our big day finally arrived but I was also extremely nervous. David’s calm and controlled demeanor helped to ease some of my stress. He absolutely never rushed us, allowed us to enjoy our special moments together, and remained collected at all times. He truly believes that there are no ‘rules’ to capturing a picture and to simply act natural as if he wasn’t there. At first, I didn’t believe this notion, however, other than his initial arrival, I barely remember seeing David and his team! They seamlessly moved through our ceremony and reception bringing absolutely no attention to themselves.
The quality of the photographs is something to be rivaled and admired. The stunning small moments David and his team photographed truly brought tears to my eyes. I love how I can relive every minute of my wedding day when I look through the pictures. They are each pieces of art, incredibly authentic and real, and simply beautiful in every way.

There arent enough words or space in this textbook to describe how amazing David and his crew were at our wedding. My husband Joe and I had the pleasure of having DES for our wedding photography 2 weeks ago. From the moment that David stepped into my parent's house, he felt like family. We chose to work with David because his portfolio had amazing work, and also because communicating with him was easy to do. We were able to explain what we were looking for and what we envisioned. He listened and then shared his thoughts on how we could achieve what we wanted in a unique way. We chose to have a destination wedding, and David was able to capture the beauty of the location and the joy of the day perfectly! Our daughter's wedding was in such a beautiful setting, and David E. Starke Photography conveyed that beauty in an art form that will allow our family to relive the magic forever. Dave made everyone comfortable and his calm demeanor brought out the best in each person. He found the nooks and crannies to serve as the backdrops for his art that caught on film the love between the bride and groom. Dave captured a look in an eye or a smile that displayed the essence of his subjects. Dave caught candid moments that we will cherish forever. He set up a detailed schedule of when portraits would take place and worked with us so we could make it to the cocktail hour to enjoy it! From the moment we saw how David handled adversity during our engagement shoot, once when we had to cancel the shoot due to a parade going on where we’d originally planned on taking them and then the second time when our intended location was closed due to Hurricane Sandy repairs, we knew that we were dealing with a professional who’d be able to keep us calm during one of the tensest moments of our life. His kind and lighthearted demeanor has kept us smiling throughout the entire experience, from our first meeting with him through the delivery of our wedding photos. Beyond his team’s professionalism and compassion, the composition of his photography and his artistic vision helped beautifully capture the happiest day of our lives. My husband I couldn't be happier to have had David as our photographer. Him and his staff were very accommodating and suggested a wonderful videographer. I got married on March 21, 2014 at The Manor in West Orange, NJ. David came recommended my the Manor and he was the last Photographer we met, his pricing was reasonable compared to the others I had met with. We booked David because he was out going, fun, extremely personable and most of all his pictures were breath taking. We were getting married at night and it would still be dark out because of the time of year and we wanted out photographer that took good night shots. David's signature shots are nigh shots, just take a look at his portfolio and you will see how beautiful his nigh shots are. After speaking with him he had expressed that he doesn't really edit his photos just some minor things,that he feels it dates them, working as a graphic designer I agreed and loved the fact that he is a true photographer and just takes beautiful pictures. On the day of our wedding David was on time and very professional. Some of my guest asked if I had a photographer at all because he was not intrusive or in anyone's way. He understood that guest wanted to take pictures of us as well and didn't get in their way while still doing his job. I could not have picked a better photographer! Beautiful pictures! Awesome People! Exceptional Service!

David E. Starke helped us to make our wedding the Best Day Ever! From the moment we first met with him we knew he was going to be our photographer. He is so calm and relaxed, and that REALLY helps on your big day! Leading up to the wedding he was great to work with. He answered my millions of emails and all of my dumb questions without ever making me feel like a bother. The day of the wedding he knew how to roll with the punches. We had intermittent rain (and only outdoor places to take photos). He never made me feel panicked or rushed and helped to offset the hectic nature of the day. His photography style is amazing. I was amazed with him after our wedding day and even more amazed after we got out photos back. You get 700 photos back on a USB drive and ALL of those pictures printed on 4x6's in a lovely wooden box. Gorgeous wedding day keepsake. I never imagined we would have SO many perfect pictures. Not only did he do a great job at the portraits, but he captured so many candid moments which I believe really helps to capture the true feeling of your big day. David E. Starke Photography was the first vendor we booked for our wedding and was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. Seriously, just go meet with him, you will understand.

Perfect. Literally I could NOT be happier with the services David and his team provided to me and my husband for our July 4th wedding. David from the start was prompt in his responses to my original inquiry, and was quick to set up a meeting with us. During the meeting David made us feel as if we were not just prospective clients, but friends. He's so personable, friendly and funny, and he puts you at ease. After the first meeting I didn't even look elsewhere and booked him the following day. The day of David arrived on time with his team, and he really helped keep me at ease and kept me on track. You have no idea how grateful I am for that! The day is already stressful and David really helped us both so much. His personality makes the day go by so smoothly and makes it fun. I got back from my honeymoon a few days ago and already I saw the sneak peek and I cannot wait to see the rest. Simply amazing. I am writing this review before I have even seen all of the wedding proofs, but I am so confident in David's abilities that I am willing to write this review now rather than later. From the very beginning of meeting David, my husband and I felt not only at ease, but felt as if David was a friend and not a vendor. He was excited to talk to us, answer any questions, and even give advice. I would email him with large scale questions right down to mundane silly things, and he always was professional and answered me very quickly. I got David's name from an old co-worker of mine who had used David for his wedding and my friend recommended that I get in contact with David. I am so glad I did. The day of the wedding, David and his team arrived on time and quickly and efficiently set everything up. Throughout the whole day, he made sure that we were comfortable and never asked us to pose in a way that didn't feel natural. In fact, he enjoys taking pictures that aren't run-of-the-mill. For example, me and my bridesmaids did a Vogue-esque type photo shoot for a few minutes. I haven't seen the proofs from that but I can assure you it was one of a kind and unlike every other person's wedding photos. During the reception, it was like David was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. He blended in seamlessly with the crowd - you literally couldn't find him, and then when you did find him, he was gone and taking shots from another angle. It was amazing. When I saw his blog where he put highlights up from my wedding, I realized he truly was just everywhere. He captured all these moments that I had no idea were even happening, and moments that I forgot about. My only regret is not hiring him to photograph our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner. I would have paid anything to get him there! I would not only recommend David to other brides, but I would highly suggest using him! You will not go wrong I promise you.

Dave was a complete pleasure to work with! He provided us with amazing engagement photos, and I really couldn't ask for more from our wedding photos. He was extremely professional and has a calming demeanor that comes in handy on such a high stress day. He helped keep us on time while managing to capture all of the special memories I requested. My friends and family are still raving about the quality of his work! At the end of the night, after his contracted time was up, he left to drop off his assistant. I was shocked when he reappeared to just check in and make sure I was happy as the second photographer closed out the night...this is a mark of true professionalism and a well-run business. By the end of our honeymoon, Dave had a wonderful selection of photos up on his blog for us to enjoy. The timing was perfect! And our proofs were in within a month or so! I think Dave is especially talented because he captured a lot of candid pictures and they are literally worth a thousand words. We will forever cherish the collection he gave to us, and we can't wait to see the finished album...it's taking so long to narrow down the pictures because all of them are so awesome! We knew the night we met with David that we had found our photographer. He is easygoing, fun, and passionate about his work. That made the decision easy after seeing how great his work is. David and his assistant were absolutely incredible. Not only did they take amazing pictures - they were so professional and fun to be around. He captured so many amazing shots yet you never even knew he was there. He has a great sense of humor and made what can be a stressful day fun and stress free. He arrived a half hour early which was very much appreciated as I didn't have to worry about him being late. The most amazing thing about David Starke is that for all intents he was invisible - there was not a minute that I felt we were not fully engaged in the wedding as opposed to dealing with pictures. However he captured every moment, every reaction, every candid - most of which we would have missed. There were even shots people did not believe were not staged, or even that they were actual photographs (they were that amazing). I cannot recommend David and his staff enough. They are the absolute best.

Dave was such a breeze to work with...he and his team just blended into the scenery of the day. He is so easy to work with and makes you feel so comfortable on such a hectic day. From the moment we met them we knew they were the ones we wnated to work with. They knew the grounds where we got married like the back of their hand and took pictures that were both unique and stunning. My husband and I chose David to be our photographer after our friends recommended him, and we are so happy we did! He was exactly what we were looking for in a photographer: friendly, relaxed, flexible, and, most importantly, talented. We aren't big fans of posed, formal photos, but we're not really artsy enough to embrace the super photojournalistic style, and we found David's style to be a good compromise. He was also super responsive to my many questions, helped me figure out the timeline for my day (which was such an invaluable help, I can't even begin to thank him for that), and was totally chill on my wedding day, not ordering people around or trying to control things. Best of all, he took beautiful photos - and we picked them up less than a month after the wedding! All in all, working with David was a great experience, and we're very glad we chose him to be our photographer. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough positive things about David Starke and his team! They did an amazing job of documenting our wedding on New Year's Eve. I envisioned a vintage style wedding for myself and my husband and David did my vision justice by capturing just that. Our pictures are absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for more. Let me preface this by saying that I probably spent almost 100 hours looking at photographers' websites and blogs before reading a review on the knot about David E Starke Photography. I was immediately drawn to what I saw online. I set up an appointment to meet with Dave and we knew as soon as we met him that we wanted him as our wedding photographer. His calm, cool, and collected attitude was what we were looking for. I cancelled the appointments I had with other photographers when we left our initial meeting. Dave was extremely responsive throughout the whole process. He usually answered all my emails within a few hours of receiving them. The week of the wedding we had an hour long phone conversation planning and going over the details of the day. The day of he was on time and where he said he would be along with the 2nd photographer and assistant (who were both awesome as well). Dave kept things like light and cracked jokes to lighten the mood. He is quite funny. Our bridal party loved him! The best man even recommended him to another one of our friends for his wedding! Our pictures came out amazing! We have so many favorites. My mother is difficult to please and she is very happy with the quality of the pictures and the images captured. We are having a hard time choosing 60 pics for our album. I would recommend Dave in a heartbeat and without hesitation to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Not only is he a great photographer, he's a great guy. We hope to be able to work with him on something in the future!

Let me start off by saying that I knew I wanted to use David Starke photography for our wedding even before we met with him, based off of the website and beautiful wedding portfolios. We met with other photographers before making a final decision and I could not be happier.

David is an amazing wedding photographer! From our first meeting, to the engagement shoot and all the way up to the wedding day, David was a delight to work with. He responded quickly to all questions from myself and my family throughout the entire wedding planning process. His professional, friendly and easy-going manner made posing for hundreds of pictures easy and enjoyable.

As our wedding day approached, David and I collaborated on a timeline of the day which worked out perfectly (without feeling the least bit rushed)---the entire bridal party including myself, the groom and all immediate family were able to enjoy our entire cocktail hour and wedding reception.---not an easy feat, as I have been in several bridal parties and have never seen the bride and groom attend their cocktail hour because pictures are not done.

Our proofs were ready as soon as we got back from our honeymoon (unheard of!) and we are thrilled with them---I have no idea how we will narrow them down for the wedding album. We have the perfect blend of posed portraits, group shots, and photojournalistic- style candids. There are plenty of every type of picture. The entire day was captured beautifully.

We could not be happier with our choice of David Starke (plus the second photographer) for our wedding photos. He was so easy to work with, very responsive, and made us feel extremely comfortable with him. He made sure everything ran smoothly, and kept us on our intended schedule for the day without being pushy or overbearing AND while being very fun, and entertaining. He had our bridal party cracking up with some of his comments while shooting. David was able to keep me calm throughout the day with his laid back personality and professionalism.
We received a sneak peek of our shots on his blog just a week after our wedding (the day we got back from our honeymoon which was a great surprise) and it got us so excited to see the rest. And now that we have all of them, we are so happy with the results! He was able to capture some amazing shots. We had so much fun going through the 700+ photos and reliving our wedding day. Another plus is that he stayed throughout our entire reception. The only problem I have now is that I don't know how I'm going to choose which pictures to use for the album because there are so many great ones.
I would highly recommend David Starke Photography. He has a great personality, and makes the photo sessions so easy and fun and he produces awesome work!

My wife and I were married at Il Tulipano in Cedar Grove, NJ in July of 2012. We searched around for several photographers and came across David E. Starke. We were so impressed with our initial meeting that we called him back immediately and requested that he be our photographer. David was simply fantastic. He was on time, professional, and straight forward with everything that he did with us. My wife and I went with a second photographer because we had 170 people. (It was David's partner and it was totally worth it.) David was so much fun to work with and made the whole picture taking process enjoyable. He was the type of guy you would want to invite to your wedding. Honesty, flexibility, and professionalism. There is not much more we could have asked for. David was so patient with us throughout the process and his pictures were amazing. I would recommend David to anyone! Our pictures were beautiful!

David E. Starke photography was our wedding photographer. David is truly talented! My husband & I chose not to have a videographer so the photos were particularly important to us since they would be all the memory we would have to look back on our wedding day. Not only were the pictures beautiful but he was amazing. He is a doll, and very funny too I might add, so taking the portrait photos was a breeze. Dave was on time, professional, pleasant, and there for every moment. I can not even believe how beautiful our photos came out. They made me laugh, cry & everything in between. He is beyond talented and has such a great eye. He captured every detail and moment. Because the pictures were such a HUGE part of our day I couldn't be more thankful that we chose David E. Starke to be our photographer. (I also forgot to mention our engagement session...he had us laughing the entire time. We took our engagement session near Hoboken, NJ & he made every situation work. I LOVED his creativitey. Because it was cloudy he got some awesome pictures with an umbrella, he got great shots with the NYC skyline as the backgorund & he took us down the road a bit and got some really awesome pictures in town. David was very easy to work with. Leading up to our event he met with us and discussed how the day would unfold. I was worried that some photographers can be overwhelming, taking too many photos and can be pushy...This was not the case with David, he was very laid back, we hardly even noticed he was there. He captured some really nice moments, we have so many great photos I don't know how I will narrow down the ones I like for an album. He really has a great eye for knowing what will work in a photo and we are very happy with the results. I think he did a wonderful job, I would recommend his services highly.

David is an excellent photographer and we were very pleased with his work. He was always very punctual with meetings, our engagement session, and most importantly, our wedding day. He is very timely with answering emails and easy to contact through phone calls, eager to answer any questions we had. He is very accommodating and met all of our requests without any problems. He was a pleasure to work with, with his friendly and outgoing personality. We researched many photographers and found his charges were very reasonable. And most importantly, his work is fantastic! He took wonderful, very high-quality pictures that we have gotten tons of compliments on, and he captured everything we wanted. Looking at all of the pictures he took brings us right back to our wedding day. After all is said and done, all that really remains from your wedding day are your pictures, so you want them to be perfect. We are thrilled we went with David and now have hundreds of amazing pictures from our special day.

David Starke and his assistant couldn't have captured our wedding day any better through a lens. He made the picture taking process fun and exciting... He was flexible and let us take pictures that we wanted at the spur of the moment. From when I was getting ready until the last minute of the reception, they kept on snapping picture's that really told the story of our wedding day. He took a variety of shots and even went outside during the Northeaster storm and in return we have the most magical pictures, with big beautiful snow flakes falling down! During the reception people danced literally for 5 hours, and they took the best action shots that look like they came out of a magazine. I recommend David Starke and his team to any bride wanting great quality and outstanding service. Thank you, David for adding your touch of creativity and professionalism through out the whole process of working with us. You ensured that we would have great pictures and a beautiful album that we will cherish forever, and our hopes and wishes came true!

David was absolutely amazing to work with. We knew we wanted to choose him as our photographer two minutes after meeting him. We had our engagement pictures done by him as well and they were beautiful and we had a great time getting to know him. The day of the wedding he showed up early to capture every small detail of our day and stayed until the reception cleared out to make sure nothing was missed. Our wedding pictures are the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen. All of our guests are still talking about how great the photographer was and they didn't even realize that he was there taking pictures most of the time! David E. Starke Photography was AMAZEBALLS! I had choosen them for my wedding which was 4/28/12 and would higly recommend them to anyone. Dave, himeslf was beyond profressional, he was fun, outgoing, responsive, listened to what I wanted and what I didnt want and went with it. He was so amazing. I already got the proofs a month after my wedding, which was so quick and there are over 800 to look at. Its hard to choose which ones I want to pick for my album because each and everyone of them are so great! I can't say enough about how great my experience was!!! David was wonderful to work with. He was extremely responsive and organized leading up to the wedding. His pricing is very reasonable compared to the many other photographers we looked at for the similar packages. We haven't seen all the pictures yet, but David sent us pictures as soon as one week after the wedding and also put together a slide show of pictures less than two weeks afterward. We would highly recommend him!

Dave and his team were not just our photographers on 4.13.12 they became family! It was very important for Brian and I to feel comfortable with our photographer so that we would come out looking natural, calm and happy in our pics. We were beyond impressed with David and his team to make us comfortable, make us laugh, make us look awesome in addition to having beautiful artistic talent. They were not intrusive, we nicknamed them ninjas for being able to take pictures but more importantly to capture moments that will last forever! We loved working with Dave! He was so quick to respond to any of our questions and was extremely flexible with accommodating our needs. Our pictures turned out beautifully! There were some really special moments that he and his assistant were able to catch on film. My wife and I spent a great deal of time searching for the perfect photographer for our wedding and met dozens along the way. We were drawn to David because of the excellent reviews and references we had for him and the excellent quality of his online portfolios at www.davidestarke.com/ (which I strongly urge you check out). As soon as we met David we knew he was our guy, he's very professional, friendly and has a great sense of humor and made us both feel very at ease. He helped us select a package which gave us everything we were looking for. David was very accommodating for our engagement shoot in terms of time/date and worked with us to select the prefect venue to give us the types of images we wanted. We were delighted with the outcome of the shoot and it built our excitement for the wedding. We couldn't have been happier with the results, our pictures are amazing, capturing the most special intimate moments of our wedding in a very natural way; the hardest part has been narrowing down to 90 images to fill our album. He also created a beautiful on-line album which captured the story of our wedding perfectly, we've shared this with close friends and family and brought a number of them to tears. We also received numerous compliments during our wedding about the way David interacted with our guests. I have and would recommend David to anyone considering hiring a photographer for any event.

David Starke is definitely the most wonderful wedding photographer you could get. He took pictures of some of our friends' weddings prior to ours, and we fell in love with his artistry and creativity, as well as his ability to capture the most magical and fun moments. Not to mention, Dave is a wonderful person and a lot of fun to have at weddings. We began to consider him a friend even before our wedding. He took beautiful engagement pictures of us and our wedding photos are so much more than we expected. I get compliments every time I show them. Dave was professional from the first moment, making sure we got everything we wanted (even when I had no idea what I wanted). Another really important factor is that Dave is able to charm the pants off of just about everyone, from your cranky grandfather to an officiant in a very bad mood (yes, our officiant was in a bad mood). Everyone loved him as a person and as an artist. I can't recommend him enough!!!

My husband and I used Dave Starke as our wedding photographer and must say that his services were superlative in every category and then some. Dave took beautiful pictures that captured every bit of our wedding including little hidden moments, he really captured the reality of our wedding. Dave was extremely professional, on time for every event, flexible and very very easy to work with. Not only is Dave a phenomenal photographer who really captures who you are, I also feel that he went above and beyond by becoming my confidant throughout my whole wedding weekend. From the moment me and my fiancé met David we knew we wanted to work with him. We were instantly comfortable with him and we felt like we knew him for years. Between my fiance and david, all i did was laugh the day of our engagement session photo shoot. When ever I see a review with all 5 out of 5, I get a little suspicious. Especially when I was a bride planning the biggest day of my life. Well, I must say that Dave truly deserves the 5 out of 5 in every category. He has been pleasure to work with from the day I booked him and still is today as I'm working on my album and thank you's. Dave and his team were so great the day of the wedding, they arrived right on time, set their stuff up and began their magic. They captured the most beautiful moments, some of which I didn't even see happening (which by the way turned out to be some of our favorite shots). I got so many compliments from my guests about the photographers and how they were all over the place snapping shot after shot, they were so impressed. It's great to hear that when you've worked so hard planning for that day. I could'nt have been happier working with Dave and the outcome of my pictures. Often people don't believe when you put down all 5's on one of these surveys bud David E. Starke actually deserves it. He was helpful, attentive, professional, accomodating, but most importantly, EXTREMELY FUN to work with. The pictures turned out gorgeous and I believe it was because he made everyone laugh and made the experience enjoyable for everyone. I have been in Weddings before where the photographers made the experience completely brutal, which is why Dave was such a breath of fresh air. If you truly want someone who will make your experience as painless as possible while simultaneously capturing the joy of the day-which he does better than anyone I've ever seen-David E.
