I had my wedding at the Robin's Nest by the Crystal Rose.

The venue was beautiful and the day went very well. Bob and his team were great and did everything they could to make my day perfect. I would suggest, however, that you make extensive notations for them as far as your decorating instructions go. I thought I had given enough instruction but there were a few things I and my bridal party had to fix ourselves before the guests arrived.

Overall, the venue was well worth the cost. The only thing I'd say is be wary of their service charge. On top of the sales tax they add a 21% "service charge" and then expect you to pay another 15-20% gratuity after your event. That seems unreasonable to me, but they still have the best price around.

my wedding was so amazing. The food was delicious, the bar tenders and dj were great. Darren, our coordinator, was so helpful. Everything ran smoothly and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I was completely stress free. These people know how to put on a wedding.

We looked at four of the Crystal Rose locations in the area, and the Hampden Ave. (Denver) location was the one we liked best, after deciding to have our ceremony elsewhere.

We were nothing but impressed with Cheena, the manager/planner there. She was always friendly, patient, helpful, accommodating and professional. She always responded to phone calls/emails quickly and answered whatever questions we had and/or made changes for us. She organized everything down to the tiniest detail and it all went off without a hitch.

The venue inside is lovely, with a beautiful spiral staircase that we used as our "grand entrance". We chose a buffet-style dinner and after attending a tasting, chose which dishes we wanted to serve. The food was very good & many guests complimented on it.

The only thing we were less-than impressed with (which is why I gave only 3 stars for professionalism) was the in-house DJ. We had given him a specific playlist of songs, with notes about "this song is for..." we heard 3 of the "bride & groom" songs we'd listed while we were still outside the venue taking photos etc. before we'd even entered the reception. Many of these special songs were not played at all, when we approached him about our songs he was stand-offish, almost rude & argumentative. I will say he chose good music to play, and did work in many from our list... so the music ended up being very good and everyone had a good time dancing & enjoying themselves.

Provided a beautiful venue great food and decorated just the way I wanted it was a gorgeous view and made everything run beautifully

My daughter had her wedding at the Hampden location on October 8, 2011. I cannot say enough nice things about the entire experience. Cheena and her staff were just amazing---took care of everything so that the family could relax and enjoy the wedding. We had the ceremony there along with the reception. The employees were on top of everything and several comments were made to us thru the evening on how perfect the venue was. The buffet was wonderful and the amount of food provided was great! The DJ was great, the bartending service was outstanding and the response to everything was immediate! Thank you Crystal Rose for an amazing experience!!!!

Quality of Service: There was always someone willing to help. I planned my wedding while living in Boston and booked the Crystal Rose on Lookout Mountain before even looking at the place in person. During the reception, Catherine did a terrific job at making sure the groom and I were always taken care of as well as making sure her staff took care of anything guests' requests.

Responsiveness: Again, I planned and worked with the Crystal Rose thousands of miles away and I received a phone call or email within 48 hours.

Professionalism: The staff and DJ were always on point. Their suggested vendors provided quality work as well (Das Meyer, JC Photography, Nature's Palate Floral).

Value: High quality food, decor, service for our money. Every dollar well worth it. Table decorations were included and that was extremely helpful since no one attending or a part of the wedding was from Colorado. Worked out logistically.

Flexibility: Extremely ready to accomodate! They went so far as to ask another couple to move their wedding location in order for my husband and I to have our reception at Lookout Mountain. Big thanks to that couple, but also big ups for the Crystal Rose staff to make accomodations for both couples.

Our wedding went off without a glitch and I couldn't have asked for a better location and staff for our reception. Thanks so much! Definitely recommend it!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Crystal Rose Lookout Mountain location. We had our wedding 5 months after our engagement and Catherine (the wedding coordinator for the Crystal Rose) made the process so smooth and painless. They responded so quick to every single question and honored all of our requests. Our wedding was beautiful and will be a day we will never forget. Thank you Crystal Rose for making our wedding day so special!!

We did our Medieval theme wedding here, it all went so smoothly :) I love that we didn't have to set up anything ourselves for decorations and Bob was totally on top of things, and very up front about everything. The setting was great, and we are very glad we chose this venue

Where do I start.... from the beginning Brian at the Highlands Ranch location acted like it was a hassle to answer my questions. He would always say, "I have been doing this for twenty years, I know what I'm doing!" That is great you know what you are doing, but most women getting married this is our first time and last time. We want the day to be special. I will skip to the day of the wedding. We got there at 10:00 am on a Friday and started to get ready. Paid for the location (10:00am-1:00am) Little did I know 12:00 pm comes around and a bride walks in with about 20 people saying she has her rehearsal? I wouldn't have been bothered by this if someone would have told me? We had paid our flower lady to have flowers for each pillar outside so my mom had asked Brian if we could move the flower pots that he has out of the way so the focal point would be more on the flowers up high. (they were half dead) He said, are you kidding me? Rolled his eyes and moved them. We would have gladly moved them ourselves. I paid for an open bar from 7-12 so a few people were buying their own drinks before the wedding. He cut my sister off after one beer and my bridesmaids who drink were not able to have any ? He also added 6 coronas onto my cousins tab and said the father of the bride put these on your tab for the 6 bridesmaids??? Well 2 were pregnant and one does not drink and the other 3 do not drink corona? Made him pay for them anyway after getting in an argument with him. I gave him a video at 2:00 that I had worked on for 4 months and asked if it would be played while everyone is finding their seat, and to make sure it works (video is being played at 7:00) he once again added I have been doing this for 20 years, I know how to do this. Video time comes along and IT DOESNT WORK!!!!) Finally it works and there is no music. So he stops it again and plays his own music!! He had 5 hours to check to see if it works? He was cutting people off throughout the night with drinking- NO ONE WAS DRUNK or out of control. He stopped letting people request music. My brother and family members asked for songs and he did not play them. I was even scared to go up and ask him to say Happy Birthday to my cousin. That is half of the wedding day. Sunday comes around for us to pick up everything (I brought my own chair covers, table linens, sashes, decorated the inside pillars with tooling and xmas lights, I set up everything with my mom) We offered to come in and take this down ourselves because we wanted to reuse everything for a wedding for my cousin. Everything was in trash bags for us which was fine. We later went home to see that instead of unwrapping the tooling and lights they cut all the way up the pillars to leave the tooling and lights in pieces????? My wedding day was beautiful and we all had a great time! Photographer was amazing, staff was amazing, cake was great family was fun, food was great and cake was awesome. The only bad thing was Brian. 50% of my wedding guest made a comment about him the next day and how rude he was. I was happy with everything except for Brian. You work with weddings (a happy time) if you hate your job and its a hassle for you to explain to every bride little details, find a new job!

Catherine, the wedding planner, was just fantastic. I felt such a sense of relief after meeting with her; she was focused on the details, so I could put attention to other aspects. She provided us with all the timelines and information I needed to be organized. On the day of the wedding, she kept the ceremony and reception flowing and made sure everyone was taken care of. The Crystal Rose was beautiful, the staff, including the DJ was awesome.

It was wonderful working with a wedding coordinator and knowing that she would be there to guide us through everything. Our coordinator made suggestions and was very knowledgeable. It gave us peace of mind working with the Crystal Rose because they have been in the wedding business for so long.

I can not say enough about Crystal Rose on Hampton in Denver!!!!!!! They provided us the best service and gave us an unforgettable night!! Cheena and her staff were awesome. They took care of everything for us and the music was just what we wanted. Several of our guest came to us to tell us how friendly and professional the staff was. When me daughters were working with Cheena, her and her staff were very helpful. When I called Cheena to make some last minute changes, she was very accommodating. When I went to change my shoes for dancing, Cheena was right there to assist me. And Jay, the owner, was very helpful as well. We just loved everything about Crystal Rose and we suggest that using them above anyone else when it comes to having their reception.

Crystal Rose helped us put our wedding together in about a week, it was perfect. Would not change anything.

The Crystal Rose did a great job for our wedding reception! We lost a few thousand dollars when our original reception venue suddenly shut down out of nowhere. (we're still pursuing legal action to get the money back from the owner) Jay at the Crystal Rose really stepped up and helped us out financially. The venue on Lookout Mountain was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. Our wedding coordinator, Catherine, really knew what she was doing and her experience showed when the reception started. If you're not exeperienced with weddings, don't worry. They will take care of everything. I'm from the Netherlands and my family came all the way from Europe for the wedding. The Crystal Rose was very accommodating to the traditional Dutch wedding customs that were performed during the reception. The family thought it was beuatiful and had a great time. If I had one very mild criticism it would be that the wedding traditions/events during the reception (i.e. bouqet toss, garder toss...etc) seemed to be a bit rushed. We would have prefered to have a little more time for dinner. But, that can always be changed and it should not stop you from going to the Crystal Rose! We had a great time and everyone had nothing but great things to say about their experience. When we renew our vows or if we have a huge party...we'lll try to have it at the Crystal Rose!

Catherine O'Keefe was an absolute joy to work with. She was not only flexible about our payment options, but treated us wonderfully throughout the whole process. I had a flat tire after already running late on the day of the wedding. It was such a stressful day until I arrived at the Crystal Rose on Lookout Mountain. Catherine took care of all the details and let me enjoy my day! I would recommend her to anyone. The food was also perfect. All of my guests told us how delicious it was. We did run out of beef but we still had pork which was also delicious. We chose this facility because it is a full service facility, and I was not disappointed in any of the included amenities (DJ, bartenders, etc.).

I had an absolutely great experience working with the Crystal Rose. I would, and have, recommended them to people. I have a friend coming to look into your facility who is getting married in a year.
