  A week before my event I stumble upon these horrible reviews of this company. I was extremely nervous about hiring this company as I had already paid the entire amount and my check was cashed. I immediately called and left a message for JoAnn to confirm all the details and address my concerns. She called me back the following day even though she was sick and had been to the hospital. She assured me everything would go as planned and as smooth as possible. She was extremely helpful in addressing each and every concern I had. She offered helpful advice on scrapbooking, color backgrounds, and had even honored the expired coupon I had presented. She took the time to go over every detail including the attendants attire, smoking policy, break policy and drinking/eating policy. We confirmed exactly what I wanted on the layout of the prints with correct spelling and correct size of the prints. She helped me save a ton of money by providing my own props (which we had plenty) and bringing my own scrapbook with glue sticks and pens available for all our guests. She was EXTREMELY helpful!!! The night of my event she sent "Nathan" with the set up. He arrived on time and had a fun professional attitude. He didn't take breaks or do any of the other unprofessional things the last review wrote about. He just let us have a TON of fun while we took hundreds of pictures. I had to apologize to JoAnn afterwards for all my guests abusing Nathan and using him as a prop in a lot of the pictures! This photo booth was such an important part of the entertainment that evening. JoAnn, Nathan and Creative Events Photo Booth Company absolutely surpassed any and all expectations I could ever have asked for. I am just waiting on my photo CD that JoAnn told me would take about a week to send. (Will update after I receive it) It just bothered me that no one has taken the time to write a good review on this AWESOME company. I highly recommend them and will be sure to use them again in the future.

  I dont know where some of these bad review come from, however this company was extremely flexible and great to work with!

  I also had a horrible experience with this company. My daughter was married in April of 2012 and we used this company for the photo booth. We paid $100 for a props package that they did not bring (they would not refund the money). We specifically explained the layout for the photo strips which were completely wrong (including misspelling the groom's name! - this was sent by email so it could not be misunderstood). The people working the booth were of no assistance to our guests. The photos did not turn out well as the guests stood way too far back from the camera in most cases and were very small in the photo. There were other problems, but this is just an example. I do not recommend doing business with JoAnn Johnson or anyone else at Creative Events.

  Extreemly upset with this company.. I had to rush my money to the owner, and after they charged my cc . I never heard from them again.. I had to call 3 times before my event. and even the day before to confirm. Awful customer service for any bride. Booth was down for an hour at my event. And I have yet to recieve my photos,cd, and i paid extra for the video, and I didnt even get that @ my event! My wedding was over 2 months ago, and I have yet to hear back from them, Jjust very sad and dissapointed!

  The owner of this business is JoAnn Johnson and I really regret doing business with her. I sat down with her for a meeting and she came across really professional and fed me a lot of nonsense. I got both my flowers and my photobooth from her, and neither were really worth it. First I gave her a design for what I wanted my photo strip to look like, she said no problem, looked NOTHING like what i wanted. She said the booth came with over 100 props, there were maybe 20 and most of them were giant sunglasses or lame hats. She emailed back and forth with her for months specifying what I wanted, she didn't deliver. My throwaway was supposed to be roses, it wasn't. I was supposed to have 3 corsages for my house party, never came. She insisted they weren't on the contract, then looked it up 20 minutes before my ceremony and said sorry all i can do is over you a refund, we'll see if that ever shows up! My bridesmaids flowers were supposed to be like a sapphire blue to match the men, they were a light blue. And I wanted pins on the bottom of my bouquet so I didn't have to see stems, she put them around the bouquet instead. She was a waste of money, her flowers and her photobooth were just not what was promised. I highly highly recommend going with any other florist/photo booth supplier. You will regret using Creative Events and Floral Design by JoAnn Johnson!

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The only positive thing was that the attendent was nice and they were there at the agreed time. Our photo strip was supposed to have my name and my husband's name with the date. They didn't put the correct name for the bride. It was ridiculous. The attendent was embarrassed and erased it but couldn't correct it. So everyone had to cut a white piece off the bottom of all the strips. It was ridiculous. I emailed Joan with my complaint and to ask when I will receive my CD, that was 2 weeks ago and she will not respond to me. I thought I was getting a good deal on groupon but you get what you pay for!!
  On a positive note, it was a big hit at the wedding. My guests loved it! I recommend a photo booth to any bride but do your research on the company before booking the company.

  I was extremely disappointed and let down with using this company for me wedding. The communication and trying to get ahold of the company is nearly impossible. My guests received copies of their photo strips with our wrong wedding date printed on them. I was very disappointed and let down with the way this vendor turned out to be.

  Used this company from a groupon. Did not get DVD of Pics! Did not get DVD of greetings! Pics were in color and we ordered black and white. They did not use logo as agreed. Did not get the scrapbook that we ordered and paid for. Left several phone msgs and email with no return contact!!!! I went to a wedding venue this company was scheduled to be at the next weekend to talk to them and they never showed up to the wedding!!!!!!!!

  This photo booth company is the worst!!! First of all they NEVER answer their phones or return calls. Even the day of my wedding I called them to make sure they were going to be there and they still didn't answer me. I sent them numerous emails about how I wanted my photo strip to look, I spelled everything correctly and my wedding date was correct. I asked them to send me a sample of how it would look just so I could feel satisfy about how my wedding favor was going to look. They NEVER sent me the sample I asked for. The day of my wedding I was kind of busy so I wasn't carrying my wedding folder with me and I couldn't remember the type of package that I had bought. I thought that I only had 300 pictures available, when the case was that I had UNLIMITED number of photos for 300 guests.....I am 100% that I didn't have 300 guests. Then the day after my wedding I noticed that they had spelled the brides name wrong, I was horrified all my wedding guest went home with a photo stripe with a misspelled name!!! I called her and she never answered... she called me back when I sent her and email saying "call me back ASAP". She said she was going to check the emails to make sure it wasn't my fault. My package also came with video messages from my guests that I NEVER got because she said that my venue was too loud! The one think she did do was reprint all the pictures for me but what good was that when all my guests took home the misspelled one? Then when she was trying to get my info to mail me my pictures, she got loud with me, started yelling at me and then hung up on me. On top of all this she said she had gotten in contact with my venue and Dj vendors to ask them if I had well over 300 guests and emailed me saying this.... Well I call both of them to see if this was true and both denied even getting a call of this lady. I got this on Groupon thinking that I was going to get a "good deal".... I guess you get what you pay for! Pay cheap, get cheap product & service. I planned my own wedding and I was on top of everything, All of my other vendors were Awesome and It's so sad to say that this ruined my wedding because everything else was Perfect. I DON'T recommend this photo booth to anyone!!!

  TERRIBLE "company". The owner Joan Johnson is a complete scam. I purchased her photobooth services through Groupon. She claimed I never reserved my photobooth session before the Groupon expired, when I did call and book the date. She even admitted she has me down on the calendar and that a photobooth is available for us. Since she 'claims' I never filled out a contract that she never sent, I reasoned with her to reduce the number of hours (from 5 hour service to 3 hours), and still come for the $475 I paid for. She said ok, sent me a new contract, I signed it and sent it back. Then TWO days before my wedding, she decides she is not coming anymore. With absolutely unfounded reasons! She said I wanted the photobooth to be outdoors which she will not do, so we and the venue offered to move her indoors. She still refused and then cited that my Groupon is expired anyways and she does not have to honor the deal. Said she has 'rights' and said I will not get my money back. HORRIBLE. I've had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and had more 'wedding' stress because of one vendor more than the entire wedding itself!

  THIS COMANY IS A JOKE. The Both, if you can call it that, is made of sprinkler pipe. You can never get hold of anyone, even leaving mutiple messages, they, "Joan Johnson" never returns calls.
  For my sons wedding they were meant to deliver, booth with photo & video as well as props. They forgot the props and the video did not work. Then the pictures looked out of focus and the color was horrible.
  I have called mutiple time to get the money back for the services not provided and still no response. Unless I hear from them today I will be filing with BBB and the police department for fraud. This is not a matter of $100 for props and 1/2 of what we paid for the video it is now a matter of principle.
  
  **** Update 11/20/2012 We got an e-mail from Joan Johnson with many excuses. She said that the operator had the props, HE must have forgotten them. Well Joan helped setup the booth so I dont think she can blame it on the operator. Also the missing video and piss poor quality of pictures can not be excused. Anyway Joan said she would refund the monies I paid I am happy with that and never want to hear from them again.
  
  **** Update 12/08/2012 I have not seen a penny from Joan. I sent a very blunt e-mail pay, up or we will file the complaint on 12/13/2012. We are past the level of principles and $100. Now Joan Johnson and her company is straight lying. She has had nearly 3 weeks to send a check, nothing.
  
  Also, My son who paid for the main booth through Groupon went back to them and filed a complaint for all the reasons above. Groupon refunded ALL the money he paid back to his credit card and said that they would deal with the company and its sub-standard practices.

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I got a groupon to use their service...not only did the attendent have cigarettes behind his ears all night, he went out for several smoke breaks. He asked my guests to get him drinks from the bar as well. I NEVER recieved my DVD with the photos and videos. What a waste of money! They never returned any of my phone calls or emails. BEWARE!!
