From my first phone conversation with Ben, I knew he would be the perfect addition to our wedding ensemble. He was not only kind and attentive, but extremely professional, helpful, and responsive. Being an out-of-state bride, this was extremely important to me and took generous amounts of stress out of our planning. His pricing is to beat, and even better, he was never pushy trying to "sell" us like other DJs that I had contacted. He is honest and genuinely cared about our wedding. It was so fun and easy being able to select our music online and document the way we wanted our wedding to progress. We couldn't have been happier come the night of the wedding. The setup was flawless, the music was quality, and Ben brought such a joyous and personal touch that everyone complimented on. He was eager to take requests, and we danced ALL night long! We had a smaller wedding of 50 people, and one of my fears was that the dance floor would be empty- not a chance with Ben. I would recommend him over and over, as would our guests who raved about him. Thank you for adding to the perfection of our night- you're the best!

I just got married on January 5th and my husband and I loved our DJ!! Ben was the best! Leading up to the day, Ben was extremely responsive & was always willing to listen to our ideas and provide us with suggestions of his own. It is very clear that Ben loves his job and that his goal was to make us happy with his performance. He gives off an energy that is contagious and he had everyone up and dancing (both young and old) from the beginning of the night to the end. He managed to hold everyone's interest and we have received many compliments on our DJ selection. I will definitely refer him to all of my friends and use him in the future for other events!!!

We had such a great experience with Create Excitement! My husband and I got married in NJ but are the furthest thing from "Jersey Shore" as possible. We knew we needed a DJ who got our desire to have great dance music without it verging on being a club. We discussed our event with Ben initially and Adam was our actual DJ the day of the event. Ben was extremely helpful throughout our planning process and answered any questions we had as they came up. Adam was fantastic. We used the company for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and weren't disappointed with any of it. The volume level was perfect throughout (which could have been an issue with outside sound and another wedding indoors). His music choices included anything we requested and options that melded perfectly with the crowd--the dance floor was NEVER empty (always a good sign!). He also checked in with us (and our bridal party) every so often to see if the volume was alright and if there were any songs we wanted to hear. He was a superstar. We highly recommend Create Excitement!

Create Excitement recently DJ'ed our wedding, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience! Our initial meetings with Ben were informative, helpful and focused on our specific needs. Throughout our planning, Ben was always organized, professional, and most importantly, accessible. He always listened to our requests and offered suggestions that he thought might work for us. Their online planning site made it easy to listen to/select music and make payments. Adam, who was the DJ at our wedding was also great to work with! He too was professional, thoroughly prepared and remained flexible (even when we we made a couple of changes mid-reception).

Best wedding DJ I've ever heard…and it was for my wedding! Ben and his team are super good. The wife and I received a ton of compliments about the music and mood. Quite a few people said to me "A lot of weddings I've been to are usually pretty boring but your guys' wedding was so much fun". I attribute a lot of this to the awesomeness of the DJ.

Music was great - they played exactly what we asked for and really set a great tone for the night. They were extremely nice people from the first time we spoke to them until even after the wedding. Very easy to work with and you could really sense the passion they have.

I don't write a lot of reviews but they definitely deserve the praise and you'll be lucky to have them at your wedding.

Create Excitement was fantastic, from the very first meeting with Ben to the end of the wedding reception, it was a very pleasant experience. Ben spent quite a bit of time with us prior to signing the contract. Other vendors spent about 15 mins. This was my first inclination that Ben was the one for us. Choosing music was so easy! My 11 year old nephew helped me select the music online so I wasn't totally in the 70's! The music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception went off without a hitch. Everyone raved about the DJ! Highly, highly recommend!

Ben was great to work with. We got married at the shore, but live about 1 1/2 hours away. I have a crazy work schedule and we did all of our communications thru email or phone. We were the worst of clients, late in filling out forms and we didn't provide a music list until the week before the wedding. He did a great job in selecting great songs for the reception. The ONLY song my husband was adamant about using was a little obscure, but Ben found it on a "Rare Hits of the 80's" collection. His lighting package (starlit ceiling and uplights) was beautiful as well.

For our wedding reception on September 17, 2011, we worked with Ben of Create Excitement, Inc. Ben was great to work with in the planning phase and he did an excellent job as our DJ during the event. Our guests had a lot of fun dancing because Ben was able to set the tempo of the evening really well.
In the planning phase, Ben was highly responsive. He worked with us to select music for our reception and suggested songs to play at special moments. He reviewed our song choices and made suggestions based on his experience. Ben freely shared his recommendations and was always open to searching for and listening to all of the songs that we suggested as possible plays. Closer to the event, we had a few phone conferences with Ben to iron out all of the final details and that really helped settle some of the pre-wedding stress.
Ben also provided us with uplighting for our reception. He provided us with options and sent us example videos so that we could see how the lighting would look in a room. The lighting for our reception was so beautiful, looks great in pictures and beautifully set the mood that we were seeking.
Ben’s interaction with our guests at the reception was always professional and, as per our request, he didn’t create a show, rather, he let the musical selections motivate the guests. In the occasions where Ben engaged our guests, he always did so in a sophisticated way, never overly effusive or tacky.
The prices for Create Excitement are easily accessible on the website. This made it easy for us to determine which of the many available services fit within our budget. There were never any surprises or fee upcharge for any of the elements that we selected. This made our experience with Ben and Create Excitement even more positive. We would definitely recommend Ben and Create Excitement to our friends and family.

We used Ben for our wedding in September and we can't thank him enough for making our day so memorable. The music was absolutely perfect, and we received multiple compliments throughout the night and after the wedding about how great the music was. Ben knew exactly how to get people out on the dance floor and we cannot express how wonderful it was in working with him up to the day of the event and on the actual evening. He is a true professonal in every sense of the word and respected our wishes for no flashy lights, fog machines, etc. The "Dancing Under the Stars" lights made the room absolutely magical and even the catering staff was in awe. Ben really knows how to "Create Excitement!"

This is the second time we had Ben as our DJ, two years ago and then on 8/27/2011 during Hurricane Irene. Not only was he always available, he doublechecked every small detail to ensure our daughter's wedding was perfect. His selection of music was infinite, our daughter and son-in-laws music interests ranged from Frank SInatra to heavy metal. The ease of which you can select your music on line was stress free. The first dance song was unusual and Ben found many different version for them to choose from. Everyone danced the entire night and forgot about Hurricane Irene, after the last song our guests were still wanting more music. Ben's professionalism throughout the entire night was evident. He provided music for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. It was amazing...Who needs a full band when you have Ben from Create Excitement!

We had Ricky and Amanda's East Coast Wedding reception at the Belmar Fishing Club on August 20th.
Ben was our DJ and he was truly amazing!!! He made the party outstanding. I truly believe in order to have a great reception that everyone talks about...is based on how good the DJ is...Ben is truly the best! Ben was a true professional from start to finish. His prep work was impeccable and his attention to detail superb. Music is his passion and it clearly shows in his work. He was always available to us and even went out of his way to let us preview the BRILLIANT slide show he came up with!! Your wedding is a celebration and having the right DJ cannot be overlooked and that's where Ben and his team step up. Music is often the soundtrack to our lives and Ben certainly understands and captures this perfectly. From the initial communication to the last song at our wedding, we had the most wonderful experience working with Create Excitement! My wife and I used Create Excitement for our wedding on June 10th 2011. We were assigned DJ Adam. Adam and I spoke once a few days prior to the event and I believe that my wife spoke to him about three times. I was a apprehensive because I had never seen his work and all too often you attend an event and the music is too loud for the room and the DJ never turns it down enough to speak to your tables mates during dinner and you end never being able to have any type of a conversation. I WAS SO HAPPY WITH ADAM! I told him I wanted soft music during dinner and that is what we got. Excellent. It made the event and then inbetween courses he pumped it up and got people out on the floor and as the next course was served he toned it down and then wwhen that was over he pumped it up. All of my guests danced and ate and laughed and had a great time. I can't tell you how many emails we have received telling us what a great time everyone had. Do yourself a favor and request Adam. Tell him exactly what you want and that is exactly what you will get. If it isn't it's because you didn't tell him what you wanted. Great job Adam thank from the both of us!

Ben & Ginette were AWESOME!!!! We met with Ben before the wedding & were in constant contact with him via e-mail. He was always very responsive (replied within hours to an e-mail). During cocktail hour he had a suggestion for the father/daughter dance that he felt would get the crowd involved and he was spot on! That set the tone for nothing but fun & dancing the entire night. I think the only time the dance floor was empty was during dinner, when Ben played our photo montage that he did for us. It was spectacular & all the guests really enjoyed it! Post-wedding, all the guests have been commenting to us & both set of parents about how fantastic Ben was. To say he is highly recommended is an understatement! If you need a DJ - BOOK HIM!!!!!
