Stress free wedding photos

My boyfriend and I decided to elope over the Christmas holidays and, while we didn’t want to stress over details, knew we wanted some nice photos to capture the day. Having met Courtney when she did some work for my employer, I emailed her and was so grateful she made time for us on short notice and for the day after Christmas. We had a great time and everything was very relaxed.

Courtney was so great to work with for our wedding! From the initial contact, to the boudoir session, to day of the wedding, she was always quick to answer my questions (no matter how silly they seemed) and kept me and my family smiling the whole time.

Courtney did a great job before and during the wedding making sure we got the photos we needed. Being so organized beforehand made the process so smooth. The photos were great and I really appreciated the visit post wedding to have the opportunity to see the photos and order some. I know so many brides who years later don't have any photos to share. Courtney was easy to work with and very responsive.

Courtney is a fabulous, talented, and flexible photographer. My husband and I had several special requests and she was able to accommodate them all. Best of all, she doesn't make the photography all about her--some photogs are total divas and Courtney is all about capturing your special day well so you can go experience your special day--not making you sit for hours and hours!

In a few words about Courtney's gift of photography, is that she captured our special moments, the feelings we shared with each other, with our friends & family and the beauty of our special occasion. Our wedding was outside in nature, very casual and now we have all those wonderful memories to hold dear to our heart.

One word - SPECTACULAR! Choosing Courtney as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made, next to getting hitched! ;) She is delightful - professional, but personable, hard-working, and sweet. We have had many family pictures taken with pro photographers, each time more disappointing than the ones before. But Courtney restored our faith in finding someone who can capture not just beautiful pictures, but beautiful MOMENTS. She captured pictures of things I didn't even remember, or know, had happened. And she's invisible! I don't know how she does it, but you forget she's there! She is scooting around, taking shots of everything, without disturbing the events of the day at all. One of my favorite pictures she captured is of my 5yo son snuggled up against me, a little bit nervous about the day, but listening carefully to the officiant's words. She's absolutely amazing, and I will be calling her back for all of our celebratory photo shoots in the future!

We planed our wedding in 2 weeks as we eloped in Blue Ridge. We didnt know any vendors or what we really wanted, we just knew we wanted a great photographer. I contacted Courtney and kind of described what we were looking for. She was very understanding and extremely easy to work with. She asked us a couple of questions via email and then we met for the first tome the day of the wedding. From the moment I met her I loved her! She understood what I was looking for, what a relieve! She was fun and super flexible. She made me feel at ease and went the extra mile. She drove 2 hours to get to us, hiked 1 mile up the mountain to our ceremony stop, stopped along the way to take pics and then stayed for the wedding cake and first dance. She was such a pleasure to work with! I am so happy and lucky I got to have her for my special day! The pictures are AMAZING!!!

What a joy it was to work with Courtney! The most important criteria, for us, when booking a photographer was that they would deliver beautiful photographs that reminded us of how we felt on our special day. In that, Courtney delivered above and beyond! We also wanted someone that we would be comfortable with on such a happy, but somewhat chaotic day. From the moment we met Courtney, we knew her calm and friendly demeanor would be just what we needed on our wedding day and we were right! Courtney's friendly attitude helped us stay excited and positive throughout the picture-taking process. I didn't even notice her (in the best way) at the ceremony and most of the reception, but the moments she captured were just perfect. The pictures she took captured all the special people, moments and, most importantly, the feeling of our special day. We really couldn't be happier with the process and the outcome of working with Courtney.

Courtney was amazing! She was easy to talk to and was able to capture exactly what I wanted. We were able to choose what photos we wanted beforehand, which made it move quickly and smoothly after the ceremony. She was very easy to work with and look forward to using her again in the future for baby and family photos! And if you brides are thinking about a Boudoir session, she is great and makes you feel very comfortable:)

Courtney was absolutely a rainbow dream. She truly made our night fantastic. She and Janet Howard ran all over our venue putting finishing touches on nearly everything and taking beautiful photographs.

WOW! Just WOW! Courtney is AMAZING! She took photos for my engagement and wedding. Pictures turned out wonderful and they really captured my now husband and I's relationship and personalities. It was so easy to work with Courtney; she made it fun but kept everything on time. She is a professional. She is detailed to make sure that all the pictures you want on your special day are captured. The best part was that a lot of the details were ironed out before the wedding so when it came time for the day it was a breeze. I would recommend Courtney to anyone with a photographer need. All I can say is that she was a true trooper with the combination of our family and friends all in the same place, she was there to capture the laughing, dancing and smiling.

I'm a very type A person, so naturally my own wedding caused a good deal of stress for me. I had to balance between my desire to control everything and my fear of becoming one of "those brides." Courtney was a dream to work with. I think she has a natural talent for reading the style preferences and personalities of not only couples but of the families and guests as well. She worked alongside my wedding planner to ensure the flow of the day was perfect, even helping me read my reception to know when to cut the cake, open the dance floor, etc. On top of all that, the pictures were awesome. I also had several members of my wedding party and family say that she was the most fun photographer they have ever worked with-I can definitely say that, and I've been a bridesmaid seven times! A lot of photographers get overwhelmed and snappy which upsets everyone. Courtney was so upbeat, it spread to all of us so we could all enjoy the day. I can't recommened her highly enough!!

My fiancé and I were searching desperately for a quality photographer that fit our budget. We were beginning to think there would be no one that could meet our needs when I found Courtney on a wedding website. She was highly reviewed so we decided to email her for more information. Right away we noticed a difference from all of the other photographers we had reached out to. She responded quickly and enthusiastically. She shared pricing information and suggestions for locations in the area. Courtney followed up with us intermittently to be sure that she was answering all of our questions. We finally decided she was our match and scheduled! Courtney was also extremely flexible. Our initial day we scheduled "washed out." Due to rain, there was no way for us to take our pictures. She fit us into her schedule the following weekend. Then, we found out the location we had chosen would be packed due to an event in the area. She let us know immediately and allowed us to pick a new location. Also, we received an email from her with pointers from make up suggestions to clothing recommendations for the best shots! When the time came for our session, we could not be happier. She was friendly and outgoing. We felt so relaxed and at ease. Courtney was open to our suggestions and utilized the props we brought in. The turn around was also very quick. We received our pictures 3 days later and they were AMAZING! The lighting, the locations, the emotions she captured resulted in beautiful pictures. I strongly recommend Courtney for brides and grooms looking for quality and a great value. You will not be disappointed!

Courtney was an absolute delight! She went above and beyond to make our wedding photos (and our entire day) incredible. She also photographed an engagement session that was very relaxed and so much fun. My husband and I now have a beautiful daughter whom we can't wait for Courtney to photograph! I think the best way to describe Courtney's is through the words of my wedding dj who also managed one of the top wedding bands in the southeast for many years. He said that in his countless years of work in the industry, that Courtney was the absolutely the hardest working photographer he has ever seen. Courtney truly worked with us throughout the entire process to make sure that every event of our big day was beautifully documented. Everyone who has seen our sneak-peek photos has commented on not only how stunning her work is but also how they felt like they were there just through seeing the pictures. Courtney strikes the perfect balance between being the consummate professional (thoroughly planning, keeping the timeline on track, working well with all of the different personalities) and a just being a fun, happy, easy-going person to work with. She made us so comfortable and that definitely comes through in our gorgeous pictures. My husband and I will treasure the moments that Courtney captured in that day for a lifetime!

We had Courtney take pictures of 14 family members the day after Thanksgiving. She put everyone at ease, worked well with the 2 and 5 year old and took fantastic pictures. She is such a professional but so comfortable to work with her. Our family highly recommends her.

You really can't go wrong in using Courtney as your photographer for your wedding. I met Courtney at a bridal show in Athens, and the choice was easy from there. Looking at her website, you can see what a talented photographer she is, and that she has a knack for catching those special moments. Courtney was easy to communicate with from the beginning and always responded promptly to my emails. She clearly explained what she offers and was flexible in creating a package that was perfect for us. She took our engagement photos, and that was really a perfect opportunity to get to know her. And she loves dogs, that was a plus for us :)

Courtney only added to our big day. She kept everybody on schedule (even with my gigantic family) and didn't waste any time. She captured all the highlights of our wedding, without distracting from them. I could go on and on about how great she is, but you just have to see for yourself! I'm so glad we went with Courtney- and you will be too. The only complaint I have is that Courtney took SO many amazing pictures, it is really hard to pick which ones to frame!

If you are looking for a photographer who is professional, easy to work with, and who will make your day even more fun and memorable- you can't go wrong. Courtney will help make your memories last a lifetime!

My fiance and I recently relocated to Atlanta, so my knowledge of wedding vendors is limited. I was, admittedly, nervous about selecting a photographer for our engagement photos, but after our experience with Courtney Goldman Photography, I cannot thank her enough for her wonderful work, professionalism, and promptness throughout the process. Not only do we LOVE our photos, but she made us feel very comfortable before and during the session. She responded to emails within 24 hours (if not hours), willingly answered all of my questions, suggested locations for the session, and provided helpful hints for outfits/make-up/etc. She is competitively-priced, and I found myself wanting to purchase every image! Thank you Courtney for giving us photos we will cherish forever!

Courtney is an absolute artist! I spent hours searching the internet for a photographer for my wedding. I came across her website, and emailed her to set up a consultation. When I met her in person, I fell in love with her personality; it didn't feel like a "business meeting", but rather like I was meeting a friend for coffee. She showed me all of the different package options, and I was so excited to book her for my March 2014 wedding. Courtney photographed my engagement session (where she traveled an hour to stand in the 100 degree Atlanta August heat), my boudoir session (what would have been an "awkward" moment turned into something comfortable and fun thanks to her), and my wedding. I had 200 guests at my wedding, and Courtney was non-stop. She photographed EVERYTHING, and was able to capture all of those special moments--even those with my 2 year old flower girls/ring bearers. Many of my friends commented on how hard she worked, how professional she was, and how she had a smile on her face the entire time. After the wedding, she sent me a sneak preview of our photos, in the form of a professional-quality video set to music, in addition to posting them on a social media site, per my request, so some of our friends could see. Although our ceremony was outside and the sun shining, every image was bright and professional, with no shadows or overly-bright photos. Each album that I received in the mail, and the disk of all of the images, was carefully packaged and included special instructions on how to preserve the photos so that they last as long as the memories do. Courtney isn't the cheapest photographer you can find, but she is extremely reasonable, especially considering the quality of work that she provides, and the passion that she puts in to capturing those special moments. I would recommend her for any form of professional photography session!

Courtney photographed my daughter's wedding in November, 2007, and then my son's wedding in September, 2013. She does a fabulous job while being so pleasant when working with the multiple personalities and situations. I continue to be impressed with the uniqueness of her photo shots and her ability to get those once in a lifetime facial expressions and moments in history.

We could not have asked for a more fun and awesome photographer for all of our wedding events. From the special book for my husband to the engagement session to the actual wedding and post wedding party, Courtney was a joy to work with. I could always count on a very timely response for any question and the turnaround for our pictures was incredibly quick. There are no words to express how thankful I am that Nolan and I chose Courtney as our photographer. She was so patient and calm throughout the entire event. Courtney was amazing from beginning to end! Before the wedding, she was genuinely invested in getting to know us as a couple, and that extra attention really shows in how well the pictures capture our personalities. As a couple that takes infamously terrible pictures, I can honestly say that we think Courtney is a miracle worker; our wedding photos are the greatest pictures of us by miles. The thoughtful little touches like sending a wedding day emergency kit for my wife (which really came in handy when she lost a button 10 minutes before the ceremony!) and going out of her way to make everyone feel at ease, put her over the top as the best photographer we could imagine. We strongly recommend Courtney to anyone looking to capture a special day!

Courtney is seriously the BEST wedding photographer! She is wonderful to work with, and her pictures are amazing! With Courtney, you don't have to worry about those awkward, stiff photos. All of our wedding and engagement photos are fun and beautiful :) Also, she does a great job of naturally lighting the pictures, so you don't have to look at those awful flash shots. I would definitely recommend Courtney to anyone who needs a photographer for any occasion! :)

She captured pictures that I wouldn't have even thought of, and she made sure to capture the ones I requested. Choosing a photographer that would mesh with our personalities was VERY important. We knew from the minute we met Courtney for our Engagement Session that we had made the perfect choice. Her artistic ability and eye for special photos is beyond amazing. Our schedule on the wedding day kept changing, but Courtney seamlessly made it all happen - she's a trooper! She even sent me a "Bridal Survival Kit" for the day of the wedding! She's very thoughtful and I feel like I have a lifelong friend in Courtney, and definitely plan to recommend her to others, as well use her again in the future (babies one day!).

Let me qualify my review by saying that I am a full-time professional photographer and that I also own my own photo lab. I mention this not to "toot my own horn," but rather to establish that I'm unsurprisingly hard to please when it comes to photography. Thus, when my wife and I set out to find a wedding photographer, we had not only to overcome the expected task of finding a photographer within our budget and stylistic preference; I also would be vetting the photographer's technical expertise.

We found Courtney's style fresh and her demeanor easy-going yet professional, and I can also say that she is truly a photographer's photographer. We had Courtney photograph our engagement session, rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception, which enabled to become more comfortable with being on the other end of a lens. Courtney's imagery was inventive, ranging from the whimsical and photojournalistic to documentary - the exact balance we were seeking. I feel we got our money's worth in both quality and selection, and I would highly recommend Courtney to anyone seeking to commemorate a special event.

Courtney was everything we could have asked for and more. From day one she was engaging, checking in with us, emailing us and sending us stuff so that we were ready on our wedding day. She was very easy going and willing to work with all of our requests - and gave very good pointers for pictures(very important for us who are not the most photogenic!). Even though it was not her job she even doubled as a wedding planner to make sure all of our photos came out well and she could not have captured the day any more perfectly. Two things we really liked is that the week after the wedding she sent us a slideshow highlighting the day and then almost weekly sent us more proofs so that while she was getting all the hundreds of pictures together to send to us we had peeks of them here and there. The second thing is that in one of her packages we were able to have her come to the rehearsal dinner and capture that as well - something we did not see as an option when reviewing other photographers. Courtney is also very punctual - responding to emails quickly and never missed a moment! We could go on and on about how great our experience with Courtney was - but plain and simple - she was awesome, easy and if you saw the pictures from our wedding you would have felt like you were there. She captured each moment and emotion perfectly and comes highly recommended from us!

Courtney photographed our wedding reception in mid-April. She planned ahead with us, was responsive and thorough with all communications regarding specific shots we wanted, pricing, and timing of the event. She met with us ahead of time, and I really feel that the time that she spent with us allowed her to get a feel for us, our relationship, and the important keys to shooting our event just perfectly!
Certainly on the night of the event, she captured the joy we shared with each other, our family, and our friends. Throughout the evening, she navigated through all of the guests catching a wide variety of photos that completely represented the night without missing a beat of the special events the two of us were participating in.
Courtney was, without a doubt, wonderful!!! She has previously worked as the photographer at many of our friends' wedding receptions, but to work with her for our own wedding reception was a true pleasure.

From the very first consultation I had with Courtney, she was incredibly easy to work with. She was very flexible in working with my fiance and I to create a wedding photography package that was perfect for our needs, which I really appreciated. During the wedding, she was a blast! The best part about working with Courtney, besides the AMAZING pictures, was the fact that she let me enjoy my reception. I have heard many stories of photographers repeatedly interrupting receptions to get the "perfect" shot. Courtney was able to do that without me feeling like i was constantly being photographed. The second most important aspect of a wedding, the bride's dress being the first, is the photography. When looking for a wedding photographer, my fiance and I wanted photos that would capture the real moments of our big day (nothing too posed), had an artistic flare, and was within our budget. Courtney Goldman met all our criteria and so much more! We loved working with Courtney; from our engagement photo shoot to our wedding day, she was there every step of the way with suggestions of different photo styles, settings, and her great sense of humor made taking photos fun and memorable. Courtney's personality allowed her to fit right in with my bridal party and capture real and genuine shots of us throughout the day. Although laid back and personable, she did a great job of sticking to the timeline to make sure everyone's photos were taken on time and that nothing ran late! She has a great system set in place that works wonders on such a hectic day! I didn't have to worry about anything because she came prepared to handle any situation--she even prepared me a Wedding Day Survival kit, which was both useful and sweet with touch of Courtney's humor on the side.

When we received the first set of our wedding photos, we were truly blown away by the beauty she captured on our special day! Courtney and her team captured every special moment of our wedding day without being intrusive to the ceremony or reception. I cannot express enough the emotions I feel every time I view our photos. I could not be happier with Courtney's work as my wedding photographer. From the very beginning, she was easy to work with, clear about what to expect, and helped this not-very-savvy bride figure out how to have the best memories possible from our wedding. On the big day, Courtney blended into the background while at the same time organizing the planned shots and capturing every part of the event...I have no idea how she managed that! Courtney was wonderful from the minute I chose her to do my wedding photography. She always responded quickly, wanted to hear exactly what I wanted and was able to answer all of my questions. However, I was most impressed with her on our wedding day, when the weather wasn't exactly cooperating. Courtney was there getting every shot, despite the fact that it was pouring rain for most of the night. She didn't sit down or slow down once. Thanks to Courtney, our wedding pictures were still beautiful despite not so pretty weather. To top it off, she had a slideshow of our wedding pictures out within two days. Having only gotten married less than 3 weeks ago, I have only seen a handful of Courtney's favorite photos but even if that is all we ever get, I will feel like I got my money's worth. My new husband and I got the email with the first pictures while on our honeymoon and literally stood in the streets of Sonoma tearing up.
Throughout the entire process, Courtney was wonderful to work with, giving us great advice to reschedule our engagement session due to high winds and unexpectedly cold weather even when I wanted to press on due to a tight schedule. Thank goodness she gave us her honest, professional opinion and was so flexible with her schedule because we still got the pictures back in plenty of time to use for a guest book and they looked great!
She also helped us create our day of timeline and took it upon herself to coordinate with all our other vendors to make sure everything on the actual day went smoothly. Even when I started running behind schedule, she kept calm and continuously communicated with everyone while still mananging to capture all the important getting ready moments. Courtney has a great eye for capturing special moments coupled with a ton of experience - I would highly recommend her!

I am very pleased that we chose Courtney as our photographer for our wedding. Courtney was great even with the awkwardness of some of the family photos (wedding drama). She was tactful and effective at maintaining the interest of children in her photographs, especially with all of the other cameras trying to take pictures at the same time. She was always helpful and giving us suggestions when we needed them because we didn't have much experience with weddings prior to ours. Courtney was never in the way. She managed to capture precious moments while hardly being noticed. However, when the timing was right, she joined the party to get in the middle of the dancing, capturing some of the most fun candid shots. Courtney was an excellent photographer. I love our pictures and look at the wedding album all of the time. Working with Courtney was great! We found her through a recommendation from a friend who has chosen her for his wedding, and we were definitely pleased with our choice. She was professional and timely in her responses in the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, which made the coordination of logistics easy. She was very thorough in her preparation for our wedding day by speaking with me directly and by having us to fill out a detailed form with several questions about what was most important to us for our actual wedding day (such as who should be prioritized, whether or not there were certain/special photos we wanted). On the actual day, she arrived early to scope out the venue, brought two additional photographers with her, and captured everything! We hired Courtney for our wedding and we were really happy with her services. Throughout the whole process, Courtney was professional, communicated clearly, and accommodated us. She uses an easy online service for her contract and payment. A few weeks before the wedding, she sent me a survey where I could say exactly which pictures and permutations of people I wanted.

At the wedding, she arrived on time and was great to work with. I was really impressed with how clearly she gave direction to all our family and friends. We were done taking our pictures a little early, I think because she made sure everyone knew where to stand and when to join/leave a picture group. She took every picture I requested and then some.

We hired her for 6 hours and got about ~260 photos total (we didn't hire a second photographer). Turnaround for all the photos was about 6-7 weeks, but she gave us a sampling of "sneak peek" photos a couple weeks after the wedding. She provides an online gallery with her watermark that you can post to social media and also provides a USB of all your photos without her watermark later on. The quality of the photos was excellent.

My only critique, which is really minor, is about the website gallery she provides. She puts all your photos on her website, which you can share with friends and family and also directly share to social media. The sharing on social media function is less than ideal. The website is structured where you either upload the entire gallery as a link to her website or you have to upload each individual photo from the website to Facebook, which would blow up your Facebook friends' news feed. I just wanted to be able to tag people and upload some of my photos in as single album, but her site can't really do that. Like I said, this is a minor complaint and not really related to working with Courtney herself.

Overall, we highly recommend hiring Courtney Goldman as a photographer for your wedding.

Courtney did a wonderful job on our wedding day! She has the skills of a true photographer and great command of the crowd that made the post-ceremony family pictures go incredibly smooth. My husband is also a photographer and was very impressed with her use of light to make great images come to life. I was impressed that we found someone who passed his high standards!

I just watched the video of the first dance at my wedding and saw Courtney (discretely) maneuvering around the edges, taking pictures. Courtney was a joy to work with and so much fun to be around. I didn't even know she was there during the wedding ceremony and reception and the pictures are incredible. They invoke so much emotion, I get butterflies every time I look at them! I love her work and would recommend her services to anyone getting hitched! We get to relive those amazing moments every time we see her work.
