    I can't say enough great things about these guys! From the first consultation to the engagement session to the wedding--they are the whole package! so prepared and up on everything--I didn't worry a bit through any of it that they may not be getting my style and type down. so many options and they also got along great with my other vendors!

    We loved Joel and Shannon! Our photos were very importantand we only wanted the best! So after A LOT of research we stumbled upon the Conners and could not have been happier. Not only were they creative and artistic shots, but the Conners made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. We loved them and look forward to using them again!

    I came across Conner Photography when another well respected photographer recommended them, and I am so thankful he did! Joel and Shannon have been a pleasure to work with! They have a wonderful dynamic that makes them feel like not just your photographer but also your friends. Joel has extremely high energy and that energy and enthusiasm is reflected in his photos. Shannon has an artistic side and they compliment each other well. We used Conner Photography for our engagement and wedding photos and I also used them for a boudoir shoot as a surprise groom's gift for my husband. I cannot express how happy I have been with my experience and the photos. The boudoir photos were classy and beautiful and my husband LOVED them. Joel and Shannon made the experience positive and fun, and rather than feeling awkward, I felt like a Victoria Secret model. The wedding pictures (the 35 or so that I have seen so far) are stunning. Joel has a true eye for photography and his photos are unique and artistic. I am so excited to see the remaining photos within the next month. Although they may be a bit more expensive than other wedding photographers, I am a firm believer than you get what you pay for. Joel and Shannon are worth every penny and I am happy we sacrificed other items to make them fit within our budget.

    After meeting with Joel and Shannon virtually during our initial photography search, we knew they were the one. Joel and Shannon were an amazing team during our wedding. Even with the unpredictable weather we had on our day, they still managed to take control and handle the situation professionally. We absolutely love their work and cannot wait to see our wedding photos. :)

    Joel and Shannon are incredible to work with. They captured every essence of our wedding day so well that when I look back on our photos I feel like I am reliving it. Conner Photography is truly one of a kind because of Joel and Shannon and what they bring to your special day. They make you feel completely at ease the moment you meet them. Our wedding day was so amazing and stress free due in large part to their fun loving attitudes, organization and expertise. My best friend loved them so much at my wedding she booked the Conners for her wedding the next year. Conner Photography is a rare find and if you get a chance to work with them you are extremely lucky!

    Conner Photography was one of the best choices we made for our wedding! The way they captured our day was spectacular! They are such professionals and made every picture taken look like it should be in a magazine!! I cannot say enough about how we were treated with such respect during our engagement session and wedding! Joel and Shannon made us feel so comfortable! They were such a pleasure to work with!!

    My husband is not crazy about having his picture taken, but after meeting with Joel & Shannon I knew we had found the perfect photographers for us! They put him at ease, and made him comfortable. Joel & Shannon gave us not only beautiful engagement photos but even more amazing wedding photos! They are truly talented at what they do! They are a pleasure to work with!

    When I started my wedding planning, I knew right away that I wanted Conner Photography. I had been admiring Joel & Shannon's work for years and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. They paid attention to every detail of the wedding and made both Josh & I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. My wedding photos were breathtaking! There is no better than these guys!

    The photography for our wedding was one of the most important choices for us, but Joel and Shannon made it easy. Their amazing pictures really speak for themselves. Joel and Shannon were fun, creative and super easy to work with. We never had to worry about a thing regarding our photography because they were so organized and touched base with us often. They captured everything from our wedding day, from getting ready in the morning to the dancing at the end of the evening and everything in between. When we look at our hundreds of pictures, we get to relive that day. I would highly recommend Conner Photography!

    Joel and Shannon were amazing! A-MAZ-ING.

    Their level of skill and creativity made our day 1000% more memorable. They came up with some shots that are so unique and creative that people are still talking about them. I want to reccomend them to anyone who wants their day immortalized. They are so good that another professional photographer that was a guest at our wedding wants to use them for her own in the future. On top of all of this, they are genuinely friendly and fun people. They have great hearts and truly care about the lives they are affecting.

    I did a lot of research on various photographers for my wedding and I ultimately chose Conner Photography. Joel and Shannon were an absolute pleasure to work with. They put us right at ease from the very start. We both enjoyed ourselves immensely at both our engagement session and wedding and that was largely in part to them. We knew that with everything that we were worried about on our wedding day, our wedding photos were something we didn't have to worry about. Despite unseasonable cold and torrential downpours that day, our photos turned out beautifully. I know we wouldn't have gotten those results had we chosen another photographer. I highly recommend Conner Photography.

    Joel & Shannon were much more than photographers through our wedding journey. They helped with so much by giving us tips for the day of to Shannon giving me reassuring words when the day started to get a little hectic. And on top of all that our engagement and wedding photos turned out amazing. They captured all the special moments from our day. I highly recommend checking them out!

    This husband and wife team were very professional and personable in all of my contacts with them. They made us feel special even though they have obviously photographed many many weddings. They captured so many candid moments that I didn't get a chance to witness that day. We couldn't be happier.

    I owe this well-deserved review to Joel and Shannon - although I am quite late in writing it. Before I begin, I will mention that this box has a character limit, so this review is even shorter than what I wanted to leave...

    My wife and I first met with Joel and Shannon for a consultation meeting on Columbus Day (2011) after she discovered their work on Facebook. At the time I had figured we would meet with a variety of photographers and see what options we had. We arrived at their studio in Collinsville and were treated to a very relaxed and comfortable environment where we viewed Joel and Shannon's work and ask general questions. The first thing I noticed was how fun loving and outgoing Joel and Shannon are. They love photography and had a large variety of work to share. At no point in time were we ever pressured to make a decision. We enjoyed everything so much that we never visited another photographer. We made up our mind that day.

    To be honest, a lot of the details in between that time and our engagement session were a blur, but one thing I do remember is the great communication we had with Shannon leading up to that event. I also remember that were always flexible with our schedule and slowness to respond. Our engagement session was a blast and what I really enjoyed about it was that it was not strictly business. It was as if were we hanging out with long-time friends. Our session lasted two hours and then we ate dinner. Overall, it was an incredible evening and a lot of fun!

    Our wedding, an even larger blur to me, was just as well. Joel arrived and took photos of myself and the groomsmen after having spent a few hours with my wife as her bridesmaids. Again, much of it was a blur but in the end their photos were fantastic. We highly, highly recommend Conner Photography and all of their services - including the photo booth!

    When you plan a wedding there are about 322,000 decisions to make. Allow me to save you some time and make one for you – choose Conner Photography.
    Basically you want your wedding photographers to be good at their craft, flexible with your wishes and take some of the stress out of the big day. Joel and Shannon do all of these things and then some. If you need proof of their ability, look at our album on their website. Yes Im biased and will tell you that ours is the best one there, and yes, they had my smokin’ hot supermodel wife to work with, but the fact remains that their photos are mint. There are fun, creativity and artistry in the moments Joel has captured.
    So that takes care of them being good at their craft, but they are also incredibly flexible before the wedding and on the day itself. My wife and I were in Australia for the 6 months prior to our wedding. We first met the Conner’s over a Skype date across an ocean. They took time out of their evening to chat with us in Australia even though they knew this would be a logistically difficult wedding to organise (and we hadn’t even committed to going with them!). In addition to this, they communicated their style clearly, which fit in nicely with what he hoped for… but they also listened to the specifics that we wanted to be included… It all gelled brilliantly.
    The wedding day was also a testament to Joel and Shannon’s work ethic, and their ability to make trying circumstances as relaxing as humanly possible. Our wedding was outside, in Missouri, in July. The temp hit 108F, Joel sweated through 2 shirts and I sweated through my wedding suit. If that doesn’t make for a difficult environment to shoot photos, I don’t know what does. But our photo session was a real laugh and the end result knocked our sweaty socks off ;)
    We bloody love Joel and Shannon... book them. Easy as mate.

    When we got engaged there was no question about who we would have take our wedding pictures. Booking Joel and Shannon was the very first thing we did after being engaged. I’ve known Joel and his family for many years (and now Shannon too!) and I know the heart they have for photography and how much they enjoy what they do. I have always been impressed with the work they do and we weren’t disappointed when it came to our engagement and wedding pictures. Joel and Shannon made us feel so comfortable and we loved all the time we were able to spend with them. They really know what they are doing and make things run very smoothly. They put a personal touch on everything they do. Whether it’s doing a shot that is unique to you to the way that they present your pictures to you. We are so blessed to call them our friends and would recommend them to anyone. We plan on having them take many more pictures for us in the future!

    We are so happy with our wedding photos taken by Conner Photography!!!! We have gotten so many compliments from our friends and family! Joel & Shannon were so easy to work with and really made us feel comfortable for our day. They offerred us so much advice throughout the wedding planning process, yet they did not try to force anything upon us that we weren't so sure about. Not only did they take our photos, they also made us feel so special on our wedding day! I recommend Joel & Shannon to anyone looking for those epic wedding photos....... they know how to get it done!!!!

    The Conner Photography experience was more than we ever expected! When we met Joel and Shannon at the Gateway Bridal Show I knew I wanted them to take our wedding photos. They not only had the most amazing photos, but they were the most welcoming. Our engagement pictures were perfect and our wedding pictures make us (and all of our friends and family) speechless.

    Specifically, I loved how they captured those candid moments and all the things as a bride you don't get to see.
    I loved how Joel tried some new things with us. It gives you those pictures that no one else has.
    I love how you get all the pictures they take to print and share.
    I love how responsive they are - never had to wait for a call back or an email - they are ALWAYS on top of it.
    I love how much they know about weddings. Any questions I had, they knew the answer or gave helpful suggestions.
    I love how organized they are. They helped create the timeline for our day and it was easy to plan and PERFECT! (goes along with all their wedding knowledge)
    I love how they are yours all day - even between the ceremony and reception they were snapping shots of my family and friends during our cocktail hour.
    I love that we didn't have to wait forever to get our pictures back.
    I love what a perfect team they make - it makes everything go so smooth and relaxed.
    I love that we didn't just walk away with a ton of awesome captured memories, but 2 new friends!

    HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these 2. You will rest easy when you know your special day is in their hands.

    Joel and Shannon were great!!! We met just about a month before our wedding and it was perfect. They were very easy to get along with and my husband and I felt very comfortable with them. The day of the wedding they were very professional and attentive to some of our ideas, while coming with their own ideas also. The pictures came out fabulous and many of our friends and family comented on their professionalism during the ceremony and reception. We would definetly recommend them to anyone!!!

    I LOVE ALL OF THE PICTURES!! I think I've looked at them at least once a day! Jeremy and I are so thankful to have had you 2 as our photographers, we've gotten so many great compliments on your work! Even the day of the wedding many family members and friends felt that you guys were there as our "friends" and to capture our day, not be the dreaded "photographer"!! Thanks so much again!! :) :)

    I can't say enough about Joel and Shannon! They are great! They were so easy to have around, had great ideas for photos, scoped our location in advance so they knew what they were walking into (even though it was an hour away from them) and were totally open to our ideas.

    And best of all - their photos are GREAT! I keep getting tons of compliments on the pictures they posted on facebook and I can't wait to see the rest!

    Their prices seemed pretty reasonable to me and I loved that we could just purchase all the images without a print package.

    Joel and Shannon were FANTASTIC! We did both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures with us and they were flexible and fun. They were profession on our wedding day and showed up on time. Any picture that we could have possibly wanted they captured and their editing skills are amazing (goodbye morning-of-wedding zit!) I would also consider them creative in the shots they take. Somehow they manage to be modern yet classic, exactly what I was going for!
