Absolutely perfect
I can’t thank Farrah and Matt enough! I had a dream wedding all thanks to them. They took care of EVERYTHING and they were both so wonderful and made the entire experience so easy for me and my family. Their bridal shop is wonderful as well, it’s where I found my dress and the groom and groomsmen found their suits! The wedding was a few weeks ago and all of my friends and family are still talking about it. I can’t thank them enough! -

Matt and Farrah went above and beyond!
Matt and Farrah really did a lot for my wedding. They told us what the package included and they went far beyond what we ever expected. They were not only accommodating, they made the entire stressful process much less stressful. I had a blast with them and I would recommend anyone to use their services and beautiful estate. The venue is remarkable and the photos online do not even begin to appropriately portray the estate! I am very pleased that I had such a blast with great people on my wedding day. Thank you Matt and Farrah!!! -

Wonderful experience!
We had a wonderful experience from the moment we started working with Colonial Estates! Farrah was so helpful and professional from start to finish. She thought of all the details that made the day so special. She seemed to just appear all day the day of the wedding at just the right time. She and Matt were available the entire day and were so helpful! Farrah kept us all organized and calm. She made the experience so easy and fun.
The venue was clean, organized and beautiful.
The view at Colonial Estates is dreamy! We had a stunning view of the mountains from the ceremony as well as the reception area. I’m so happy we chose this venue for our daughter’s wedding day. It was perfect! -

My husband and I got married at Colonial Estates in June this year. When viewing it, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. We are more than pleased with how our wedding turned out. It was the perfect day with the perfect views from Colonial Estates! The owners, Farrah and Matt were great! They made the experience stress free. What more could you ask for on your wedding day! I would 100% recommend Colonial Estates as your wedding venue! -

Colonial Estates was absolutely amazing and breathtaking! The views are beautiful! We planned our wedding sight unseen and lived in Illinois. Farrah and Matt made the process stress-free and were great at communicating! They made sure our day was absolutely perfect. This is definitely the best place to have any event! Thank you so much for taking care of us and creating the perfect day that we will remember forever! -

I just attended a wedding at Colonial Estates Friday 4/27. It was beautiful. The views at this venue are breathtaking. When the sun started to set there were white twinkle lights inside the pavilion that set such a warm and romantic tone. The facilities were all so clean and tidy and everything went off without a hitch. I'm so happy with how everything turned out for my friend, the bride. But I knew this would be the case as I have attended other weddings that Ferrah had a hand in organizing and she is the best. Thank you Colonial Estates for making my friend's special day so beautiful. -

Colonial estates is a top notch wedding venue! Farrah and Matt work hard to take care of all of your needs from day one all the way through the wedding. Farrah is very attentive to all of your needs and even thinks about all of the little things! She saved me from a catastrophe of not having any plates and forks for my wedding cake the day of the ceremony because I had forgotten them! The venue was set up the morning of my wedding and I even had a place on site to get ready. There was plenty of parking and space for food and a Dj. The view was spectacular and there were actually several different spots to have my ceremony and also a covered space Incase the weather was bad. The venue is definitely well worth the money and the staff is great! -

All guests mentioned for weeks after the event how much they adored the venue, especially the view! It was more than I could have ever hoped for! -

Totally in love with the view and the fact they are at a very good price for what they are offering helps when you are planning within a budget! So excited to work with them up until our wedding day! -

We are so happy that we found this awesome venue and family! The owner Farrah was so accommodating to our every need. The place is spectacular. My guests still have not stopped talking about what a perfect place it was to have a wedding. Its easy to find and plenty of parking. So many choices of where to have the ceremony too! The backdrop of the mountains and the backdrop of the home were so perfect. They even had an area that made my woodsy garden theme happen for photos. In the end i regret not doing the all inclusive package because that would have made my life easier. Thank you Farrah and family and Colonial Estate weddings for an amazing day! -

Colonial Estate was the absolute perfect place for our wedding. The scenery is so amazing, even the beautiful pictures don't do it justice in person. Farrah and Matt are so helpful and flexible, and very attentive to the couple's needs. We had use of the property basically all day, and also held a rehearsal a couple of days beforehand. The reception space was also perfect with just enough room for dinner and dancing. Also, they have a lot of decor items that other couples have left that are available for use, allowing us to avoid spending so much on decor. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding there. -

Colonial Estates was where I had my wedding on June 28, 2014. I do not have anything but WONDERFUL things to say about this venue and everyone associated with it! Farrah and Matt are wonderful to work with, I even selected them for my engagement and wedding pictures (Farrah's photography...be sure to go read my review if you are looking for a photographer in this area!)
Not only is the venue BEAUTIFUL but it has everything! I was able to have my rehearsal/dinner there, an outdoor wedding *which we had a backup rain plan, we were all able to get ready there and had our reception there too. They provided us with the option of using any decorations they had (which I did) and I selected to have them set up, decorate and take down everything for us. Farrah was very professional, but not the kind that you are scared to "bother" with all the stresses and questions of wedding planning, instead she was only a phone call away anytime I needed her. She met with me multiple times and always made sure I had everything taken care of. They even provided me with another wedding coordinator the week of the wedding, Heather, which was wonderful. This venue provided me with the PERFECT wedding! I could go on forever about my experience, but I recommend if you are looking for a venue in this area, you should go check Colonial Estates out!! -

I am so glad I that I had my wedding at Colonial Estate Weddings! Farrah and her team were great! From the very first day we decided to have the wedding there to the day after the wedding, Farrah and Matt made sure that everything was taken care of! The view was amazing and the weather was perfect! For everything that was included in my wedding package the price was great! -

I got married last May, and absolutely could not have chosen a better venue. Farrah was so wonderful to work with; she helped me come up with ideas for decorations, but listened to what I wanted as well as helped me stay sane through the planning and went out of her way to make sure everything ran smoothly on the big day. My wedding was everything we wanted it to be, and I wouldn't change a thing. -

Horrible business practices by the owners, Farrah and Matt. They just about ruined our wedding day with false promises and hidden charges. They were late to every meeting we had with them throughout the wedding planning process and had the Bride (me), Groom, and Mother of the Bride waiting outside in the cold for 30 mins a few days before the wedding - I caught a cold because of it and was sick on my wedding day. They didn't have any of the tables or chairs set up for our rehearsal even though that is the only 2 hour window they give you to decorate and LEFT during it so we couldn't even ask them questions. My matron of honor and bridesmaids had to leave while we were all supposed to be having fun getting ready together to go decorate the reception hall the DAY OF THE WEDDING, literally hours before! They even told the Groom that he had to go pick up trash in their house on his WEDDING DAY. They made us pay for servers (even though it was not a requirement in the contract and they openly state that people can use whatever vendors they'd like) who were supposed to be handling the trash. My uncle even had to go find them at one point since they locked us out of the house where all our stuff was and he found them picking flowers in the field while they were supposed to be working. Overall we had amazing vendors for our wedding, but Matt and Farrah weren't one of them. I DEFINITELY WOULD NOT recommend using Colonial Estate Weddings. -
