Claudia is a genius! She is absolutely fantastic with what she does and I couldn't have been happier with my dress. Her boutique was the second place I visited that day and I remember thinking to myself that this was where I was going to find my dress. She was extremely friendly and incredibly helpful. I wasn't really sure as to what I wanted to wear on my wedding day, but I told her what I think I would like and she handed me a few to try on. The dress I wore on my wedding day was dress #2. I was in love the moment I stepped into it. I knew it was the one when my mom couldn't stop crying. It was perfect. We added a few things to it - extra straps to give the back more design as well as a see through cutout on the side. It was my dream dress, and I have only Claudia and her team to thank.
My mom also got her outfit custom made by Claudia and her team. She looked so beautiful! She was extremely comfortable in it and kept talking about how much she liked the "bling" that was added to her collar and sleeves; subtle, but beautiful. She loved how versatile the outfit is and that she can wear it and mix and match it with anything.

Claudia is the most gifted seamstress I have ever met! She took a dress that was ordered too large for me from another boutique and made it into the dress of my dreams. More than that, she kept it safe during a hurricane and accommodated countless fittings over the course of nearly nine months while I rescheduled my wedding. She listened to my every concern and provided great suggestions on how to make the dress better. I highly recommend Claudia Giraldo Bridal! -

You need to buy your wedding dress here! When you go in, the pink ladies make finding your dress so much fun. Everything in the shop is set up & ready for you, they even have a cute little sign with your name on it. Claudia is amazing! She does custom dresses and we completely transformed a dress that she had made, and really made it mine. It is truly couture. We had multiple fittings to make sure it fit and everything was right. They give you your dress steamed, altered and on a form. They even helped me put it in my car! I just wish I needed another wedding dress because the process was so much fun and it was amazing watching Claudia and the alterations team alter and put together my dress! Highly highly highly recommend! -

Claudia and Claudia were so easy to work with, a beautiful selection of dresses and excellent seamstress work! I visited almost every bridal boutique from Port Charlotte to Bonita and this was hands down the best of them all. From the warm welcome of Champagne and cozy sofas and the gorgeous selection of gowns neatly displayed to the ingenious video cameras to see your every angle, my girls and I were pampered all the way through. Thank you both for being a part of my special day!

Claudia is an amazing seamstress and dress designer. I didn't buy my dress from her, but her professionalism and smiling staff made me choose her for my dress alterations. She knows how to make you look beautiful in your gown! I am even going to have her repair, do stain removal and preserve my dress. Worth every penny! -

Not only did I find my dream dress here, my mom and bridesmaids got their dresses altered here and they looks gorgeous! Everything I Dreamed of.
My Mom told me about a new bridal store in our town called Claudia Giraldo Bridal. We made an appointment to see Claudia. I showed her a couple of samples of what I was looking for. It took her about 15 minutes to pencil sketch out the front and back of the dress. I was impressed by her professional knowledge. We selected all the fabric, lace and beading and all the try on's that made the dress perfect for my wedding day. My dress was everything I dreamed of. I would recommend her store to all my family and friends. She really made my dream come true. -

From my first visit to my last, I was always impressed and so grateful for her and all her staff. My finished dress and veil were absolutely beautiful and unique. Diana Sent on 05/10/2016I have to say how wonderful it was to find a reliable seamstress, very last minute! I had a destination wedding in Florida and was so excited to find a beautiful dress to wear. Unfortunately, I found a seamstress who nearly ruined my day when my last fitting proved to go horribly wrong. The dress was not finished and was just too big still. I had no idea what to do, but I had booked an appointment at Claudia's Bridal to steam my dress after a long plane ride. I called on Monday in a panic that I needed my dress altered and my wedding was on Friday!! I could not believe when she said it would be no problem to fix it that same day. I went in and got fitted Monday, and by Wednesday the alterations were complete! The dress had a lot of beading that had to be reworked and I thought it would never get fixed, a bride's worst nightmare. But Claudia's came to the rescue and I could not have been more happy with the outcome. She knew exactly what I wanted and made it perfect. I cannot thank her enough! She made one happy bride!! -

Claudia is an amazing local designer that will leave you speechless with every garment she creates. Check out her website for a small sample and you'll see more on your first appt with her. She is comparable in price if not better than any bridal shop and her work is phenomenal. I continue to receive praise for my dress and veil which Claudia and I designed together. It's one thing to pick out what you like and just buy a dress but it's a whole different experience when that dress was made with you and just for you. -

Emily Sent on 11/25/2015Most importantly, Claudia's alterations were SPOT on and made me look and feel absolutely amazing. She took an off the rack dress that was at least 8 sizes too big for me and made it fit me like a glove! When it comes to the alterations I give her a 10 out of 5, as my dress was perfect.
The lower ratings come from the fact that we never got in and out of her appointments quickly. She always seems to be running late and rushing. It's great to see that she's busy but there were times when she took walk ins and assisted them while we were waiting which is not great business in my mind. If she can manage her time better I'd give her a 5 every time. -

I had every intention of giving a raving and full star review but I want other brides to be aware of the timeliness and quality issues that I encountered. Let me preface by saying, I chose Claudia due to all of the high praises and recommendations I received from other brides I personally know. I am sad to have had the experience I did. Claudia completely redid my dress due to severe weight loss and I commend her for taking on the challenge and doing it! For the most part, the dress did fit better but there were still some issues when I put it on the morning of my wedding. The hems on the length were uneven in length and not straight… of course this really was not noticeable when I wore it, but when my photographer was taking photos of my dress hanging up, I was appalled that this was the quality for the price I paid. Where the biggest concerns arise is every appointment I had, it was delayed by 20 minutes due to work needing to be completed from the prior alteration (4+ weeks in between each appointment). But I never thought twice about it because I had heard so many brides rave about her work so it was no problem to me. The second concern was when my husband went in for his final fitting, she was overbooked and it never happened. No problem, it was a very small alteration to do so I wasn’t worried. I should have been adamant about him having his final fitting because the pants were hemmed almost 3 INCHES too high……. We had to cut the seam out on the wedding day so the pants sat at the right length. It made me sick to my stomach! Again, knowing what I paid in total for our alterations, this should have not been an issue at all. When I went to pick up both garments, I was an hour late to my pick up appointment due to other errands taking longer than expected. Claudia was wonderful in understanding and said no problem. I arrived a whole hour later than scheduled and nothing was ready. My dress still needed a hem to be completed and it needed to be steamed. My husbands suit was also not complete, nor steamed. In fact the entire jacket was forgotten about! I could feel the tears rising as she said it to me. She did offer to drive it to Captiva for me but I was not taking the chance for it to not arrive so I waited an additional 2 hours for her to do the work that I not only gave her plenty of time to do (6+ months) but I paid in full with both garments and the work was not cheap. I never mind paying more for exceptional work, but exceptional work includes timeliness and doing the work in the order of the events you take on. She is a one person show and I was always more than understanding that she was busy, but unfortunately I did not have the Claudia experience everyone raves about. ruined the experience for me. If you do use Claudia, I would buffer in a whole extra week and be adamant about your appointments and final fittings. I was very disappointed.
