DJ KC was a hit!

KC did a great job! He DJ'd for a medical school charity gala in which both medical students and our physician mentors were in attendance. His song choice kept both parties on the dance floor the entire evening. He was interactive, extremely attentive to every detail before the event, and was kept attention focused to charity. Thank you for everything KC :)

Ace handled our wedding perfectly. He was straightforward to deal with and handled everything with style. KC's photobooth worked out really nicely also.

The DJ was awesome! I had to plan our wedding myself so the DJ did a great job with helping me organize things and everything turned out perfect! Highly recommended!

Professional equipment and business. We were able to meet with the DJ to discuss our event in-person and also received comprehensive documentation involving most popular song choices, wedding layouts, pronunciation guides for any introduced guests, and overall flow of the event. DJ was able to engage with our guests and help keep them informed of items on the schedule, knew how to keep the atmospheric music at a proper conversational volume during the dinner, and chose songs completely in-keeping with our wishes. Respected the "do not play list" even when requested by a guest, which we greatly appreciated. Top notch service, highly recommended!

Great service. They kept in constant communication with me in preparation for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. The DJ called me a few times to discuss the program, and arrived hours early to prepare for the event. They were highly professional and worked with me and my daughter every step of the way. KC from Classy DeeJay was a perfect fit for our wedding reception. He communicated well up front and helped plan the flow of the event. On the night of the reception, KC was early and helped facilitate the event. He played our wish list of songs, and threw in some great ones of his own. I did not pay for this DJ. I was the grooms best man's mother. Best man is serving in the military and DJ helped us get a live FaceTime of best man to be able to give speech.

KC did an amazing job at our wedding. Everything was perfect and he really kept the flow going. He played all our requested songs and kept us dancing. Super nice guy and he really relieved all my stress. He had everything under control the whole time. I highly recommend him!!!

KC was a great DJ for us. We sent him a list of all our songs really late just before the wedding and he was still ready and showed up early to set up and start playing. He even came over to our house 2 months before the wedding to preview the site and make sure all would be good.

When I started looking for a Dj I had emailed 5 different vendors KC from classy Dee Jay was the only person to email me the next day and than called me when It was convenient to me. He was able to meet with me right away and when we wanted to change things the night before the wedding he was very understanding and accommodating. All of my gues were able to request songs and everyone told me how much fun they had!

It was such a pleasure having you at our special event. You were extremely professional and flexible. I could not have asked for a better DJ/MC. DJ KC was an awesome DJ for my wedding. My wedding was in April 2015. He was flexible and he took off a lot of the stress off of me and into his own hands. He was professional and kept people on the dance floor the whole night. I would he was definitely worth having. KC was quick to respond to text, emails, and phone calls if I or my planner had any questions. He even drove out to the venue to see where the best place for him to set up his equipment. I recommend KC at any event not just weddings. Thanks KC for making my wedding an enjoyable evening!

DJ KC was so very nice when we met up to discuss where when who what why and how. Made it so much easier on me as I have never put together a reception. We discussed what kind of music for my son, daughter inlaw and myself. He was insisting that I should have a list of my own kind of music as well. When a family emergency came up for him, he let me know immediately that he would not be able to do the event but had someone else lined up and that was good enough for me since I still had a contract with Classy Dee Jay. He then called me the day before my event and said that he felt that since he agreed to do it and that I had a contract, that he felt obligated to do it, not so much for the business (and I know it makes for good business to keep your word) but because of me and as an honest person, he wanted to keep his word. Also my son wanted to know if Ken could actually start an hour earlier than contracted and Ken agreed to that without hesitation. It made my son and his new bride happy and that was the most important thing for me. Ken was there an hour early. That there tells me what kind of DJ/man that Ken is. Played music that all my grandkids...down to my 4 yr old grandson to my 87 yr old Mother inlaw and 90 yr old Auntie. I will recommend him to all I know and all who ask if I know of a DJ.

KC was referred to me by a friend when I was looking for a DJ for my sisters wedding in October of 2015. He was awesome very professional and had no problem coming to Phoenix for the wedding. We had so much fun and he really kept the party going. I would highly recommend him for any type of event.

Ken runs a first-rate, professional, reliable DJ service. It was a pleasure working with him because he was so quick to respond to my emails and calls and shared his suggestions in the most helpful professional manner. He is also very knowledgable and was able to find the perfect DJ for our teen's party. The music, equipment, lighting were top notch. Totally amazing especially because his price seems very fair. We got married this past Saturday, and Classy DJ's were absolutely amazing, not only did they live up to their name, they were such professionals and were all about us and our guests having a great time. Not only did they play ALL the music we asked them to play, they really went above my expectations. The whole night went so smooth, thanks to KC Welch. I have already recommended multiple people to them, and from here on out if anyone asks if I know of a DJ I will ALWAYS say Classy Dj's . They made our day unforgettable, I keep getting texts, emails and phone calls from guests at our wedding asking us which DJ service we used! We hired Classy DJ to do our wedding and ended up working with one of their DJ's named DJ Ace. DJ Ace was great in helping us with our last minute planning and was emailing ideas for songs and dances throughout the process. DJ Ace met with us the week of the wedding to ensure that we were all on the same page as far as the planning process goes. During the wedding DJ Ace was AMAZING! The timing for the ceremony was perfect and he really got the party started at the reception. He was great about taking requests and playing them, especially from the little kids! Working with Classy DJ was very easy and they were very accomodating throughout the process! Call Classy DJ to hire DJ Ace!!!!

Although our Wedding is not until October, I just wanted to tell you about this company.I woke up last week to start searching for a DJ for my reception . Let me say...NO FUN!!!! There were so many choices. ARRRRRG! By the end of that day, I wanted to bite every ones head off. At the end of the day and after all of the Same BLAH BLAH BLAH...I decided to get back to the TOP 3 Djs that I wanted, after some rest and I would talk to them the next day . Waking up the next day, refreshed, I called these companies back. One never called me back and the other two I met with. I met with one at Starbucks and one at their office. To make my story a lot shorter....I ended up going with Classy DJ . The customer service was great and they really know what they are doing is one reason why i went with them but the FUNNY thing is…. When I went and met with Ken at his office, he had 2 DJs there to meet with me that he thought would be a great fit for me. One of the DJ\\\'s was the guy that I MET AT STARBUCKS! I guess he worked for Classy djs and decided to try and go off on his own. I waited till the DJ left the meeting to tell Ken. Although I could tell he was a little hurt by this, He just smiled and said “I guess he won’t be your DJ\\\" I’m sure that dj won’t be working for classy anymore. Bottom line is, Classy is a real pro company ,they know what they are doing and I encourage you to use them for you event.

My wife and I were looking for a dj company that could fulfill our needs. A friend of a friend recommended that we check out Classy DJ and so the next day i looked them up and gave them a call. the owner KC Welch was the one spoke to and he genuinely cared about what both my wife and i wanted and how we wanted it to happen. A couple weeks prior he always kept in touch and was easy to get ahold of to discuss any changes. I couldn't imagine having any one else but Classy DJ on the day of the wedding.

These guys have a true Name , My Dj and Photographer were indeed Classy. After months and months of finding vendors for our wedding. We narrowed the Dj search down to 2 DJ's. We were going to go with a company that was cheaper than classy Deejays, but a friend that used to work at the LA Mariposa resort, said she used to send all of her clients to Classy when she was the Manager at the Resort. So we decided to take her advise and go with classy. We are so glad we did.

The DJ was awesome . The photographer was great. If your are looking for a Dj and or Photographer...don't let price factor in your decision. These guys are worth evey Penny!

Classy DeeJay did an excellent job reading the crowd. It was a small intimate wedding and was creative in getting all the guests involved. He was extremely flexible and was able to adjust things with ease during the reception. I would highly recommend him for anyone who is getting married.

I got married at Tanque Verde Ranch, and at the time when we signed the contract, they were offering to book the DJ themselves and take care of it. Figuring they'd do a decent job with their reputation on the line, I went ahead and agreed. They booked KC for our wedding.

My husband lives overseas, so he only had a brief window of opportunity in order to meet KC before the wedding. I called KC and had no answer, so I left a message. I didn't hear back, so i called again, and again, I had no answer. I was annoyed and gave up. My husband didn't get to meet KC before the wedding.

Now, it turns out that sometime after the second phone call that KC did leave me a message saying he was in the middle of moving offices, so the phone was out, and whatnot. So I do appreciate that he got in contact later, but by then it was too late.

This little hiccup, however, is my only complaint. When I did finally meet KC, I loved him. He's a nice friendly guy, and I felt at ease with him. I gave him our list of special songs, as well as our must haves and do not plays for the reception. KC was excited to see some British songs and artists he had never heard of, and lo and behold, he was able to find them for us!

Everything went so smoothly the day of the wedding. KC was there and ready well ahead of time. Our ceremony music went perfectly. During the reception he was flexible and able to read the crowd well enough. He played most of our must haves and none of the ones we said we hated. He handled guest requests well - he didn't play requests given by a drunken guest that were sure to clear the floor, but overall he was happy to listen if it was indeed a good request.

I'm really happy we had KC as our DJ. Nice guy who clearly knows what he's doing and loves it.

I LOVED my deejay, ACE, who is one of the DJ's at Classy Deejay. He was fun, had a great selection of music (That fit exactly what I wanted) and kept the party going. They were a great value and everyone (EVERYONE out of 175 people) commented on how much they enjoyed ACE. He was quick to respond to all my emails and phone calls/ texts. He also had great suggestions for the type of reception I wanted. I recommend him to anyone looking for a fun reception.

After speaking and meeting with several DJ's I finally talked to Ken "KC" at Classy Deejay. He offered me more services for a longer time period at almost half the cost of other vendors. He helped correlate all of the events during the wedding and made suggestions for music and other activities to keep the night fun and entertaining for the guests. He had pages and pages of music suggestions for every event possible in a wedding. We had a couple unique song requests that he found for us and made everything perfect. Everything went off without a hitch. KC was the DJ and Benny was our MC. Everyone commented on how good they were at involving the guest and keeping everything running smoothly. They played everything we asked for and even stayed later than they had planned. They lived up to their name, they were truely Classy and we would recommend them to anyone needing a DJ for any event.

I thought that if I booked a dj from out of town they weren't going to show up, not Classey DJ's they were here early and prompt on call backs during the planning. The music was great no drama at our wedding and lots of fun!!!Thank you KC for being here!!!

I booked with Classy DJ when Ken was the owner, and had a great experience up until 2 weeks before my wedding when my DJ called and said he had been taken off my reception. Turns out the company had been bought out, but no one from the company thought it was important to notify the bride. The new owner attempted to make up for the situation, but failed miserably when she showed up dressed unprofessionally to the reception in black spandex, black uggs, and a black long sleeve t-shirt. (Mind you it was an outside reception in May in Tucson, AZ….about 90 degrees out) The only saving grace to this experience was DJ Nick, he was fabulous! He mixed the music perfectly and really kept the energy level up. If I could book him without dealing with Classy DJ I would again.

***After posting this review, Ken Welch the pervious owner contacted me and we were able to talk about the situation in detail. He let me know that he will be taking back over the business as of July 1, 2011. It meant a lot that he took his own personal time to contact me and remedy the situation. I appreciated his quick response, and his professionalism, as a customer it made me feel that the business owner cared about me which is not something you come across too often anymore. Because of Ken, I know that we will be giving Classy DJ another shot in the future.****

KC was great to work with, he was attentive to our music choices and definitely kept the reception going strong. He was also very helpful with referrals for other vendors when needed. Definitely a great presence at our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

KC - Ken Welch was the DJ for our wedding on Saturday, and he was fantastic. I was doing a destination wedding, and so the DJ was a piece I was nervous about as we hadn\'t been able to meet much in advance - and had never had a DJ before. Ken was super flexible and came out to our wedding site a few days ahead and totally put me at ease. He took our list of \"must play\" and \"Do not play\", and made great suggestions about the flow and timeline for the reception. He was self sufficient, arrived on time, and set up his area while guests were eating dinner.\r\nThe highlight for me was that for our first dance, Ken organized all the guests into a circle on the dance floor, and made sure they all had a maraca in hand to cheer along our first dance. It got everyone on the dance floor - and people danced all night.\r\nHe totally led the night - announced dances, cake, and kept things moving.\r\nI highly recommend him to another bride - and not only was he great as our DJ, he recommended our officiant who was also great.\r\nvery professional, and responsive during planning as well.\r\n

ClassyDJ is a priemere DJ service that provided excellent service for our wedding. I would recommend them for parties as they know how to get the party started!

JJ was on time and able to accommodate "clean" songs and special request. He interacted with the guests and kept the mood of the party going. He incorporated lights that matched the theme of the party and kept the little kids excited.

Originally, I didn't plan on hiring a DJ. I didn't have the room in my budget, we were having an early brunch wedding, and my husband and I don't like dancing anyway. After some strong encouragement from our wedding venue, we decided to try. We reconfigured our budget, but still didn't have a lot.

Classy DeeJay was really great about working with us to fit the services we absolutely needed into the (very small) budget that we had. KC was really nice and met with us in person before we decided to sign a contract. He even gave us a tour of the studio down at the radio station he works at, which was really cool! Our venue was a little funky and had 3 different "locations" where we were going to need audio setups, which usually means extra charges for extra setups, but KC contacted our venue and was able to hook into the venue's systems to save us money. We really appreciated this extra step :)

My husband and I were really excited to work with KC, but knew that we might be working with another DJ day-of. A week or so before the wedding, we were excited to hear that KC was going to be our DJ! However, schedule complications came up, so a couple days before the wedding, we found out we were going to be working with another DJ, Ace. Not a huge problem, but it was a little worrisome because I only had a phone call with Ace. Ace did a great job at the wedding, but I think it would have been better to meet in person before then, which was impossible with the timeline.

We did have small issues with the audio during the ceremony (feedback when the best man was handed a mic for a short reading, guests in the back who said they couldn't hear the vows), but for the price we paid, we didn't mind.

I definitely recommend Classy DeeJay to folks planning their weddings, but would suggest being a little more aggressive in communication than I was to make sure you're all on the same page and there aren't any surprises coming up on the wedding.

I was very happy with the out come of the day with the flow of music and interactions with the dj and his assistant. I was nervous because I never got a confrimation that they got my music list and wasn't sure if I would have my song. But it went well and I had a great time

Our first impression of our DJ was phenomenal and we were so excited when we hired him. Then 4 weeks before the wedding the DJ, Michael Gallagher, wouldn't respond to my emails for the reception times and music that our guests were requesting. I kept emailing without response. I then contacted the owner of classy DJ, K.C. He said he would get Mike to contact me. The DJ still never contacted me. Finally 2 days before the wedding I spoke to KC and he discussed all my music requests etc, and assured me we had a DJ. The day of the wedding our emcee, Clint, contacted me and our DJ Nick contacted me as well. They were brought in to replace DJ Mike. KC had given them my requests and apparently we were good to go. When I arrived to the reception Clint caught me outside and reviewed KC's instructions which left out my son , my husband's sister and also labelled my husband's stepdad as my stepdad for introductions. I thought we had dodged the bullet and that everything was fixed. Instead, the DJ never played the songs we requested for introductions, the DJ never encouraged the trivia game we had planned for the cocktail hour, never played a song for our cake cutting and omitted many of our requested songs. It was very chaotic and not well planned despite all the planning that I had done for the music and timelines. The communication gap was awful. My husband and I believe we would have been better off with a playlist from our ipod. The rest of our vendors were wonderful and we are thankful that our only complaint is the DJ services.
