Luke and Alisha photographer our wedding in Florida this past weekend. They were absolutely amazing to work with! Both fun and professional, they helped keep the day moving, worked quickly through our list of family photos, and found amazing light and staging for our wedding portraits. We couldn't be happier to have had them to share our wedding day with. We'd highly recommend them to any of our friends!

We could not be happier with our whole photography experience on our wedding day. Luke and Nicole made us feel instantly comfortable and had such creative and fun ideas about where and how to take the photos. Luke was happily willing to take any shots that we wanted and was great about taking shots that we didn't even realize we wanted until we saw the proofs! We are going to have a hard time choosing our favorites. We love the Clark + Walker blog, which made it easy and fun to show our friends some of our best photos. We feel that they truly captured our joy that day. Thank you Luke and Nicole!

We used Clark + Walker for our photography and are so grateful that we did! They are truly the best! Luke posted teaser photographs before I even went to bed on the night of my wedding! Our wedding blog and countless amazing photos were available for us to see within weeks! Our wedding day weather was not the greatest, but you know you have an amazing photographer when the pictures still come out fantastic. We would HIGHLY recommend Luke + Alisha (+ their entire team) to any couple getting married. When you hire reputable photographers, you have one less stress to worry about. You can feel confident that you are going to get the best pictures! We did and we are so grateful!

Josh of Clark and Walker Studio for videography did an amazing job at our wedding last month. While I had initially booked with a different member of their team earlier in the year, Josh jumped right in and was highly responsive and helpful in the planning process for our day. When our day arrived his creative presence was felt throughout his time with us yet he was unobtrusive in his shooting style. I can't wait to see the final product because I absolutely know it's going to be amazing. Be sure to check out his work on their website, it's beautiful!!

Luke and Alisha are an amazing team! We couldn't be more thrilled with their work! They came all the way out to California to work with us. They listened to exactly what we wanted and gave us just that! They were so much fun to work with, we really enjoyed having them around! We would definitely recommend them..and already have!!!

Luke did an amazing job capturing the beauty of our day, and he was so fun and relaxed to work with! My husband and I regularly look at our blog pictures, and we are having a tough time selecting which pictures we want to purchase since there are so many that we love! I was able to communicate directly with Luke via e-mail throughout the year prior to our wedding day. He was extremely prompt in responding to my questions/concerns and always seemed genuinely interested in hearing about our vision/plans for our special day. We would highly recommend selecting Luke and Clark+Walker Studios for your special day!

The quality of Luke's photographs was acceptable, but he failed to take a single picture of my wedding's cocktail hour. 50 minutes elapsed when he took no pictures at all. When confronted with this, he became defensive, angry, and insulting. Luke repeatedly accused me of lying about the 50 minute gap. However, he was unable to produce a picture from that time. It is important to note this was not during dinner when we was, of course, welcome to stop shooting while he ate and rested. Some other notes from the exchange:
- He resorted to personal insults by calling me a “cheesy” “micromanager.” - He said he called his wife on the drive home to say shooting my wedding was “not worth it.” It doesn’t feel great to hear that from a vendor you chose. - He continually defended himself by saying he “worked hard.” To me, if you don’t take a picture for nearly an hour when you’re being paid $500 per hour to take pictures, something is very wrong. We still don’t know what he was doing for those 50 minutes while he wasn’t taking pictures. All he said was he spoke with our DJ and the hotel’s coordinator. A few other notes: - He's a good photographer, but arguably relies on warm, sunset lighting too heavily. - In person, he is very pleasant and was charming to our guests at the wedding. -He seems most comfortable shooting posed portraits. That's not a critique, but is something you should be aware of if you would like more of an organic, "documentary" feeling. It's unfortunate Luke didn't respond professionally when confronted with his not photographing our cocktail hour. He's a talented photographer and a nice guy when he's not questioned, but clearly doesn't respond appropriately to valid concerns. I cannot recommend a vendor who treats his customers disrespectfully. I would also invite you to read my other reviews. I'm not a person who nit-picks vendors to find fault; in fact, this is the only negative review I gave.
Clark+Walker Studio responded with the following comments:
Where to start with this one... I took it up with WeddingWire rigorously but they've been either unresponsive or didn't seem to care all that much. It started with me shooting their engagement shoot, and absolutely knocking it out of the park. When I arrived at the wedding even the groom commented on me being almost as big a celebrity at their wedding as him because everyone loved the photos so much. The wedding was of course the same, with me receiving emails from family members indicating how much they loved the entire experience. Juston did decide to book my bottom package though, which at the time only had 1 shooter. I explained the differences and encouraged 2 shooters saying it allows us to be in more than one place at a time. That way if he wanted both cocktail hour shots of people and also room shots in a tight timeline it would allow for that. He elected not to do it, yet inquired after the wedding why there wasn't a lot of people shots at cocktail hour. Then he proceeded to download special software that would look up the time each photo was taken to try and get me to account for every bathroom break or card change or time I changed my batteries throughout the day. At first I was as extremely polite about it as you all would expect from me and my studio - but there's a certain point of... "really?" After the ceremony I did bride+groom shots, grabbed a couple shots of their friends at cocktail hour, went in and started room shots, got pulled over to the DJ to go over reception timeline, then the wedding coordinator came over to review the day... and I don't know I probably did something like go to the bathroom before I started shooting again. I mean these things all happen at weddings. This was all accounted for, like any other wedding... and if someone wants constant rapid fire shooting of all moments of the day then get 2 shooters and the pictures will never stop all night. No matter how talented and hard working someone is we're all still human beings who need to eat a snack bar for 3-4 minutes and go to the bathroom for a couple minutes at some point. So yes I wasn't as pleasant as I normally am after several of these email accusations, as many of you might expect, but most of what he wrote is just an angry over the top review that's not true and shouldn't even be posted. If he wanted to give me a 4 star review that mentioned he wished he had more photos of cocktail hour I'd live with that, even though I strongly recommended it, but at least it would be fair. This though? Shame on WW for even posting it.Where to start with this one... I took it up with WeddingWire rigorously but they've been either unresponsive or didn't seem to care all that much. We had Josh on video and Luke on photography, as well as a couple other C+W team members supporting them. From our engagement photos to our wedding photos to our video, C+W was amazing and delivered the most beautiful images and video. The value of their product is well worth the price and their unobtrusive style and laid back personalities make it a joy to have them around during such a special time. I will continue to be a loyal customer and look forward to seeing the team again.

If you can imagine, two weeks before my wedding I was in a pinch for a new photographer - long story... Anyway, Alisha was so friendly, accommodating, very responsive and just fabulous to work with. I absolutely love her work and cannot tell you enough about how happy we are with how the pictures came out for the wedding. Everyone was raving about them when I sent out the blog link. They are just stunning and her point of view and eye for the best shot can't be beat.
I feel photography is one of the most important elements to a wedding as the pictures will last a lifetime. I am grateful that we went with Clark+Walker and can continue to look back on our perfect wonderful day together through her eyes.

Working with Luke from Clark+Walker was the best decision I made while planning our dream wedding. From the very first conversation we had, Luke felt like a supportive and honest friend who I could count on throughout this process. I instantly knew I wanted to work with him! He was so sweet – asking me about other plans we were making, giving advice about other elements of the wedding when I needed it and even helped me decide on the perfect dress! (He photographs tons of dresses and had great advice!) With his extensive knowledge of weddings and the wedding world, I always trusted his opinion and it paid off. Our photos of the day were really important to me since I am constantly documenting every event – but I didn’t even think about it and let Luke take over completely and I am so glad I did! The pictures I have seen are fabulous, totally “us” and I could not have had such a calm, wonderful day without him. I know my mom and my husband share my sentiments because they can’t stop raving about him either!

I absolutely love Luke from Clark+Walker Studio and would recommend him to anyone. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he's also very laid back and so much fun to work with. Our wedding was just this weekend and I've already seen a few pictures from our day, and am so excited to see the rest!!
I highly recommend doing an engagement session before your wedding day, it definitely helps to break the ice and get used to having pictures taken of you.

Luke and his crew did both our photography (Luke is now dba Clark Walker Studios) and videography (via their sister company, Lillie Studios). AMAZING doesn't even begin to explain them! They were flexible, friendly, so much fun and on top of it we have a beautiful video and wedding album that everyone is blown away by! It would be a mistake to go with anyone else!
