My daughter made all the wedding plans via email from Ecuador. I followed up where needed by phone or email also. I was hesitant to ask a church we'd never attended to help with our wedding, but upon calling Church of the Wayfarer in Carmel, Ca., I spoke directly with Pastor Norm Mowery and he just made me feel welcome and like he had no one else to help but me and my daughter and family! Pastor Norm often answers the phone and always is calm and gives you his complete attention. His belief is that he wants to make the day so very special for the couple and their families - he truly has a very open heart to all. Both Illona, in the office and Julie, the wedding coordinator were also very helpful. Julie made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible and Pastor Norm found just the right words to envelope the moment. My daughter said being at this church was truly the best part of the entire day. This church has a wonderful history in downtown Carmel and is just beautiful!
