  I kept trying to think of ideas for transporting my wedding party creatively when I remembered the Chattanooga double decker bus. I googled and saw what looked like an authentic refurbished 1960s double decker bus. Communication was quick and the contract was signed in no time. On the day of my wedding I hadn't heard from them so I worried they wouldn't show. I called and the owner acted like he forgot about my event. Later a red painted tin can of a bus showed up. NOTHING like what google shows. The inside was so filthy and so was the top. I booked it for a wedding I don't know why they didn't think to clean it! Also, if you're booking for a wedding you're required to book for two hours vs the normal 1 hour minimum. I don't recommend this company.

  I booked Chattanooga Double Decker in February for my October wedding. Rufus was not very responsive from the beginning- I had to contact him a month after I sent my schedule and deposit to ensure everything was good, which he responded "It is." My wedding coordinator called Rufus several times before the wedding to go over pickup location information and times. Rufus called me the day before my wedding and said that the bus may not be able to drive up Signal Mountain due to rain. I informed my wedding coordinator who then set up a Plan B. Rufus called the day of the wedding and cancelled (it did not rain a drop). We later learned that he had booked three events that day and saw the bus while we were taking pictures downtown... I do not recommend Rufus and Chattanooga Double Decker.
