Charleston Virtuosi Made Our Wedding Unforgettable

We were absolutely blown away by the performance of Charleston Virtuosi string quartet at our wedding ceremony at the French Huguenot Church. Their music added a touch of elegance and romance to our special day. The band they provided for our wedding reception at Dewberry Hotel was equally amazing, keeping the energy high and the dance floor packed all night long. Not only did they play all our favorite songs, but they also learned and performed a few special requests that made our day even more memorable. We cannot recommend Charleston Virtuosi enough for their exceptional talent and professionalism

We had a destination wedding in Savannah. Music was very important to us and we couldn't have asked for a better lineup of musicians for our wedding. We hired almost thirty musicians through Charleston Virtuosi including their string orchestra and party band and a surprise performer during dinner. Peter and his team did an outstanding job!

Highly recommend

The Charleston Virtuosi string quartet along with their DJ, saxophone player and drummer, did an excellent job at our wedding reception in Charleston. DJ Jayson was able to maintain a high level of energy throughout the entire night, ensuring that everyone had a great time! Peter, the manager was easy to work with and also performed at our wedding with his string quartet.

Their music made our wedding

Me as an art producer working with different artists I felt incredibly lucky to have Charleston Virtuosi provide music entertainment for our wedding day in Charleston earlier this year. They were recommended to us by our wedding planner. From start to finish the communication with Peter was fast and easy, making the planning process a breeze. The Spicers Band and the string quartet were absolutely fantastic. The singers voices were simply mesmerizing. Our guests also enjoyed listening to their string pop covers during cocktail hour. Giving them five stars :)

Wedding Musicians

The music at our daughter's wedding was absolutely fantastic! The party band from Charleston Virtuosi and their afterparty DJ made the night unforgettable. The band played a great selection of songs that had everyone on the dance floor all night long. Musicians were incredibly talented and their outfits added an extra touch of style to the whole event. We couldn't have asked for better entertainment for our special day.

A celebration of life and love

Charlesron Virtuosi gets 5 stars with helping set the ambiance and mood for the wedding of our daughter Katie to her husband Andrew. The trio of musicians, including Peter, “set the stage” for the beginning of the wedding ceremony. The classical music was a resounding success, as were the musicians playing during the cocktail reception,.

Kudos to Charleston Virtuosi for their part in what we thought was a perfect celebration of life and love!

Hands down the best!

We were both so happy we ended up going with Charleston Virtuosi for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour music. Having a destination wedding made trying to find musicians for our ceremony a bit more challenging. But working with Peter made it seem so effortless and all of the little details were taken care of. My wife is a huge Disney fan and Peter made sure to give us about a dozen Disney songs for the ceremony while guests were arriving. He didn't even have these listed on his website, but what we requested he made happen. We had the violin and cello duo for our ceremony and every single one of our guests said how amazing it was to have the string instruments for our beach ceremony. We then had the piano and saxophone duo for our cocktail hour. They made sure to set a vibe that was exactly what we wanted. A jazzy beach vibe that all of our guests seemed to enjoy while having drinks on the oceanfront deck. Would no doubt recommend booking either of these duos if you want amazing quality music, and also stress free planning for ceremony music. Peter even reached out to us following our wedding and set us a wedding gift which shows just how much detail he puts into the process. Couldn't have picked a better choice for our music.

Peter and Charleston Virtuosi were fantastic to work with at our wedding! Peter is a great talent, shows up on time, and is dressed sharp. DJ Jake was excellent, as well - playing all of our requested songs, adding in songs that fit our selections, and keeping the dance floor moving at all times. I was looking for a cellist for my wedding at the Tybee Island Wedding Chapel on June 2, 2018, and I was happy that I found Peter because we wanted all live music and it required a cellist with musical selections we chose.. All the questions I had, they were answered promptly, and he also provided me with music recommendations even though I already chose my own music for him to play. He played everything so beautifully! Also, before the wedding started, he arrived early to practice with the pianist and made it his purpose to introduce himself to me. Also, at the end of the ceremony, he thanked me for allowing him to be apart of our wedding celebration. If you are in need of a cellist in the Charleston/Savannah area, I highly recommend using this service. The price also fitted into our budget and it added a touch of class too.

Charleston Virtuosi was recommended by my planner and I couldn't have been happier! Peter was super easy to work with through the entire process. I originally was only planning on a solo violinist but based off our contemporary song choices, Peter suggested a guitarist and it was a perfect addition! The Charleston Virtuosi came highly recommended to me through my wedding planner who had worked with them many times before. The quality, caliber and uniqueness of the string trio was unrivaled and unlike anything I have seen. We opted to play more contemporary songs for our guests arrival and for the ceremony. My family and guests are still raving about the music!! Peter and his musicians are professional and the best of the best. I cannot wait to get our video footage so I can ear all of their beautiful music.

My daughter's wedding was held March 4, 2017 at the Farm at Ridgeway. I had heard Charleston Virtuosi, string quartet, play at another wedding in Columbia and thought they were excellent. I didn't know how easy they would be to work with. Their response to emails was immediate. We had a 30 minute cocktail reception prior to the wedding and the quartet played for that 30 minutes and then during the ceremony. We sent them a list of the music we wanted and they could play everything we sent. They were willing to work with our vocalist before the ceremony and adjust to her needs. I would highflying recommend them for any event!

As professional musicians, the music for our wedding was extremely important to us. Charleston Virtuosi was seriously the perfect touch to the whole day. We booked Le Pumpe, their gypsy jazz band, for our laid back morning ceremony and reception and it was the exact vibe we were hoping for. They sounded amazing and really looked the part, and we got so many compliments from our guests!

They also provided music before the ceremony and added the violin, which was so nice and totally unexpected (thanks Peter!). Peter was very quick to respond to emails, very easy to work with, and provides music for all tastes and styles. Charleston Virtuosi was definitely one of our best wedding planning decisions!

Peter Kiral and Charleston Virtuosi rocked our wedding! From the classy ceremony string quartet to cocktail hour covers to Peter killing it on the dance floor with electric violin mash ups with the dj! Charleston Virtuosi made my daughter's wedding sound wonderful. They showed up on time and were very professional. Peter Kiral answered all my questions and even met me personally. They knew all the traditional songs and even songs that my daughter wanted that were not traditional. We had about 200 guests and all through the night people were telling me that they loved my ceremony musical players. I will definitely hire them again. Thank you Peter Kiral for calling me back so many times and for making my daughter's wedding great.

Charleston Virtuosi did an amazing job at our wedding. They absolutely nailed it. Peter Kiral is such a skilled and incredible violinist. The seamless fusion of the DJ's music and Peter's electric violin had EVERYONE glued to the dance floor. It was hypnotic. When you can get 60 year olds, 40 year olds, 20 year olds and teens out on the same dance floor all night, you are doing something amazing. I want to a heartfelt thank Charleston Virtuosi for making our wedding a huge success and the talk of the town.

We had the string quartet play for my daughter's wedding in Charleston, SC. They happened to be all male and were excellent! They also played for the cocktail hour. I would have loved listening to them more and wish we had recorded it. We would absolutely recommend them.

We hired Charleston Virtuosi for my daughters wedding at the River House at Lowndes Grove Plantation. It was absolutely perfect!
We had a trio for the ceremony, so classy, crystal clear and lovely… and Peter played the electric violin through the cocktail hour and stayed for the reception to accompany the songs played by DJ Jake. It was more than we had asked for and I felt so fortunate that they added this dimension of music to the evening. It was very very cool. Everyone loved it! Jake was wonderful too. He played everything we asked for and downloaded more for my daughter and son in law. They were very gracious and accommodating.
Everyone remarked on how awesome the music was and enjoyed dancing to the end. You simply cannot go wrong if you hire them. Peter responds to all emails and questions promptly and is on board from the beginning. Thank you so much for making her wedding even more special.

We chose to have the bluegrass/Americana band the Cattle in the Cane for our 4th of July wedding ceremony and reception and THEY WERE AWESOME!! Emailing the manager, Peter, throughout the process was very pleasant and he responded very quickly to all of my emails. We were nervous at first because we had never heard the band live before, only clips online, but were blown away at our choice when the big day arrived!! I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this quartet! They played all the songs we requested at just the right time. Their sound and look turned out to be exactly what we were hoping for. Peter was very helpful in selecting and arranging the music for our ceremony. We had a small wedding on the beach, and he recommended a duo of a guitarist and a violinist. They went above and beyond to make it a truly special moment for us. They were able to play a beautiful version of our favorite song as I walked down the aisle, and it is something we will never forget! Although I didn't hear the music during the prelude, everyone said that they did an excellent job! They were professional yet friendly, and we would recommend them to anyone.

I cannot say enough good things about Charleston Virtuosi. The group Peter put together exceeding our expectations (which were high due to the how well recommended Charleston Virtuosi) and everyone at our wedding commented on how exceptional our ceremony and cocktail hour musicians were. They captured the exact sound that we were looking for and even offered up insightful suggestions to help us create the ambiance we were looking for at our wedding.

Peter was a pleasure to work with and also helped customize the music we wanted to have played. The musicians even learned an esoteric song special to me and my wife and played it even better than the original version during our ceremony.

Charleston Virtuosi is a must for your wedding in the Charleston area. We hired a Blue Grass Band for our rehearsal dinner and a 3-piece Orchestra for our ceremony. They were both fantastic!

Peter was great to work with and very accommodating. He even accommodated my request for the Blue Grass Band to be a surprise for my husband at the rehearsal dinner. Peter also was kind enough to stop into our wedding reception to say hello.

We had DJ Jake do our wedding at Wild Dunes on April 11th, 2015. Not only did he do an awesome job communicating prior to the event, he did an awesome job at the actual event! We didn't supply a playlist (other than the scripted dances) and let me tell you...you don't with this guy! He played such a diverse selection which got everyone up and on the dance floor. As the night went on, we thought of a few songs we wanted to hear...no problem! He downloaded them right there on the spot (if he didn't have it) and played it. Pricing was good and in line with industry standards. I'd recommend these guys if you don't want your DJ to suck!

I would love to give this group more than just 5s!

Charleston Virtuosi was fantastic! They played our ceremony music and cocktail hour. They are incredibly talented and extremely professional. Peter was our contact person during the entire planning process and he was very helpful, sweet, and responsive. We hired a violinist and guitarist as suggested by Peter because of our song choices. The duo was able to learn 4 songs for us which sounded beautiful during our ceremony. I wish parts of the ceremony weren't such a blur just for the sake of being able to recall how wonderful they sounded.

I would absolutely recommend the Charleston Virtuosi to any bride looking for beautiful ceremony music- they are also very reasonably priced!

We found them on Google and hired them for our wedding ceremony and wedding reception. My wife and I wanted non-traditional music to accompany our ceremony, modern songs that were important to us throughout our relationship. We also were married on the beach, and had no idea what the best fit would be for ceremony music. Peter recommended that we have one solo guitar, and we hired Ulyana from Charleston Virtuosi to play.

Peter helped us to identify and arrange the music and Ulyana played it beautifully. She arrived promptly and worked with my sister who was signing a solo during the ceremony.

The entire experience was pleasant and CV was quite reasonably priced. I would recommend them to any couple!

They were fantastic. They played our ceremony and our cocktail hour. We had asked for a special rock song to be played on our exit from the ceremony. They were able to locate the music and play it for us. This was my favorite party of my wedding, it meant so much to us. During this process it took a few phone calls and emails and they were always responsive. They also were helpful and clearly caring about the overall experience when they suggested that since we were in a museum with a more echo sound that we have a trio instead of a quartet. They really added that special element to our cocktail party. For my one year anniversary, they helped me locate that sheet music and talked with me about which instruments music would "look" the best. I was able to frame it and give to my husband. This now hangs in our house and is a constant reminder of such a special day. I would 100% use them again for a special occasion.

While dealing with a million things at once, it was great to get prompt and caring responses from this group before the ceremony itself. There was no resistance to the songs I wanted, the venue, or any other decisions I had made.

On the day of, they were perfectly professional and self-sufficient, which was important considering it was such a small affair and I was too busy running around like a chicken with it's head cut off to stop and make sure they were situated. The music itself was heavenly. Flawless. It was on queue and didn't miss a beat.

We wanted to make it an extra special event as the majority of our guests were flying in from Northern Ireland for the ceremony. Enter Peter Kiral and Charleston Virtuosi. Peter is ultra professional and has excellent organizational skills. He made making the necessary arrangements a very simple, straightforward, hassle free process. The playing of the wonderful musicians of Charleston Virtuosi is still being talked about by our guests. Mission accomplished Peter!!

Had a very small wedding ceremony with a duo of violin & cello. It was elegent and very intimate for my occasion. Prompt communication with with staff. I would recommend them to anyone!

Peter was flexible with us and was able to play every song we requested. The acoustic guitar was beautiful and perfectly complemented our small and cozy ceremony while filling the church (even though it was halfway filled). I am happy to recommend their services!

Peter at Charleston Virtuosi was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire planning process for our destination wedding. Charleston Virtuosi did a wonderful job of setting the scene for our wedding at Magnolia Plantation. The music was beautiful and all of our music choices were played, even Beatles songs during our cocktail hour. The rain did not stop them from performing beautiful music. They adapted to the situation seamlessly. I would highly recommend Charleston Virtuosi for any wedding or formal event!
