Jackie Sent on 11/01/2015Cayley Cakes made the most awesome wedding cake for us. We requested an "Almond Joy" flavored cake and it was outstanding. Very moist and everyone loved it. It was even better than I imagined it would be. I asked for it to look a little Halloween-like/Day of the Dead with drizzled chocolate over the top. She nailed it! The chocolate was smooth and dripped down the sounds in a perfect manner. I'm sure it wasn't an easy task to accomplish. I'm hoping I can upload a photo to my review so you can all see it. Stop in and ask for Trina. You won't be sorry! -
Hanna Sent on 11/09/2017Cayley Cakes has the most delicious cakes! My husband and I went with a two tier layer cakes and then a few dozen cupcakes for our 90 guests so we could have a bunch of different flavors and they were absolutely cleared by the end of the day!
I have a couple of complaints about communication though. My sister is vegan, so we went with Cayley Cakes because they have delicious vegan options. When the cakes were dropped off, they told my planner that the green topped cupcakes were "gluten free." Thankfully she had the personal number of someone who worked at the store to confirm that they meant vegan rather than gluten free. Our wedding was on a Sunday and they were closed after noon, so if we didn't have that personal number we wouldn't have been able to find out for sure. I also had initially asked for flowers/leaves as decorations on the cakes, but changed my mind because I was going to use real flowers and my cake topper instead on the tier cake part. I even went in in person to change the order. When the cake arrived the whole top was covered in flowers so I wasn't able to even fit my topper on top. They were super cute decorations, and ended up working out just fine, because my topper looked good next to the cake as well, it just wasn't what I had asked for.
Overall, definitely delicious and has great vegan options, but it was a bit of a struggle to get our vision across. I would still recommend them though!! -

User1196984 Sent on 06/11/2013Cayley Cakes has beautiful and delicious cakes. It is challenging to correspond with the owner and takes multiple attempts to get a response. It's very laid back. I started inquiring about my wedding cake months before my wedding, however the owner did not provide my contract until a week or so before my event, and had me fill out all the details of the contact. She claimed she was busy, but I did not find it professional. I even had a back up plan in case she didn't follow through. Luckily she followed through, provided exactly what we wanted, and everything was delicious!
