Working with the staff at Caryn's was great. I traveled from Richmond to Farmville (90 min each way) to get my dress there. I was a little dissapointed that I never met with a seamstress, but I think my dress fit pretty well regardless. The price was great for a dress that looked as if it cost twice what I paid.

My gown, my Bridesmaid's dresses and some jewelry came from Caryn's. We made an appointment and had a room all to ourselves with a personal attendant to cater to every need. When I needed dress deions, they provided them within an hour of the request. They also fitted, steemed and had everything ready with no hassle or worry! All of the ladies here are top notch and work to make you feel elegant and beautiful with no question in your mind that your attire is and will be perfect on your special day!

Shopping for my wedding dress at Caryn's was incredible. After visiting a few stores, I had an idea of what kind of dress i wanted and my budget.
The staff helped me narrow down the dressed and we ended up finding my dress!
I had nowhere to store my dress, so they held it for me right up until my wedding day.
Fittings and alterations were a breeze and we even ended up getting my Mom's dress there too!
The staff was helpful, knowledgable and so friendly!

I could not have asked for a better wedding dress shopping experience. The lady helping us let me pick out a couple of gowns and also picked out some that she thought would look nice. Those dresses were not anything that I would have picked out for myself and yet they were amazing. After finding a dress, she took measurements. The dress fit perfectly when I went for a fitting. The only problem is the seamstress is only in the shop on certain days, so it made finding a good time for the fitting a little difficult. (I was in school full-time and working and the dress shop was two hours from where I lived).

Professional and friendly, they made me feel so special picking out my wedding dress. All of their gowns were reasonably priced and well made. They also had a great selection in jewelry and veils. Highly recommended!!

What can I say except shop close to where you are getting married. I live and work in the Richmond area but was getting married about an hour away. My mom and I went to almost all of the bridal shops in Richmond and when I had not found THE DRESS I went to Caryn's with my bridal party and my mom. I could not have asked for better service, I pulled dresses, my mom pulled dresses and my girlfriend's pulled dresses and I ended up falling in love with the last dress I tried on. I knew as soon as I put it on that it was the dress. Not only were they not pushy but they also didn't mind that two of my girlfriends had kids with them that were running around and touching everything. I ended up also getting my attendants dresses from them. The girls called in the measurements and the dresses were shipped to them since all of them live out of town. No problem was always the answer I received along with whatever you want, you are the bride. Thank you Caryn's for making my wedding the fairy tale I had always dreamed of.

I was on a mad hunt for my dress. I had called so many stores and noone carried the dress I was looking for...until I called Caryn's. I was looking for a red dress, but would have settled to trying it on in white just to see the style. To my surprise they had a similar style to what I was looking for and I asked if I could come that weekend to try it on. I was told they were booked, but if I didn't mind not being in the bridal portion and not getting a lot of help, then I was more than welcome. When I came first thing in the morning, I was put into the bridal portion and received help--not to mention the best surprise, they had it in red! I dealt with Cindy and she was so helpful and so enthusiastic about my dress choice. After alterations, there was a little piece of the boning popping up but they fixed that while I waited. I also bought my shoes (flats) and had them dyed at the store. They did an excellent job matching the gold in my lace to the shoe. They have a flat alterations rate if you buy the dress there, as well as they give you a certificate towards your gown preservation. It is a very busy store--so make your appointment. Cindy even made me promise to send her a picture of my dress--which I will just as soon as I get them. :-)

I drove to Farmville to find my wedding dress at Caryn's even though I live in Charlottesville because I had heard such great things. I was not disappointed! The staff was extremely professional and courteous, and only brought me dresses in my price range (unlike other stores I tried.) They were extremely patient as I tried on almost every dress in the store, but I eventually found my dream dress. They were so helpful that I also bought my veil and shoes there and ordered the bridesmaid dresses. They made everything extremely easy, and I highly recommend them.

I was pleased with my dress. It took several sessions to get the alterations and bussel right, but the cost was spot on and the quality of the dress was wonderful! The people would always be friendly. You have to be careful when to schedule your appointment however (not on a Saturday); they get very busy around prom season! My consultant was great and always ready to assist me with whatever I needed.

They were wonderful to work with. They would store the dress for free and had a maximum price for alterations (150.00) which for this area is not bad.

I loved this place. Everyone there was so nice.
