I love Carrie. She did my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits as well as on my wedding day. I wanted her to tweak something with my makeup after it was done, and she did it without a question and wanted me to feel beautiful. She's so pleasant to be around, always keeping me laughing and talking. She made me feel like the prettiest bride!! I would 10/10 recommend!

Carrie is AMAZING!!! She is so willing to help and do whatever is needed to make you look and feel perfect on your big day. She is so sweet and I loved talking to her while I was pampered. She knows what will work best for certain lighting and how to make your hair and makeup stay put all day. I loved working with Carrie and would do it again in a heart beat!

I CANNOT say enough good things about Carrie! She is such a ray of sunshine and just a true professional. Carrie was there every minute for me from 8 AM till 8 PM when she went home that night. I booked the half day with her just to be touched up during pictures and the night and I think that was the best decision I made for our wedding! Every moment I saw or was with Carrie all my nervous, stress, and pure craziness seemed to be gone. She has done this for small and big weddings and she knows exactly what to do or where to be or not to be yet be in the perfect place that moment. She would be there touching up my lipstick and brushing my hair before I realized I even needed it. Our photographers loved it also since they didn't have to get away from where the perfect shot was to fix something on either husband or myself. She has a true talent and eye for beauty and art (make-up/hair is art too!). You really will not be disappointed if you booked Carrie for all your beauty needs the day of your wedding and I think everyone should book the half-day at least as well to make sure your look like a true princess on the biggest day of your life. THANK YOU Carrie from the bottom of my heart for being the very best and such a good friend that I gained as well!

Carrie and her team beyond exceeded my expectations. Carrie has an amazing way of making you feel calm, relaxed and so beautiful even admist the stress and craziness of all the wedding festivities! Carrie with Carrie Purser Makeup and Hair Artistry is incredible!!! I knew she was good…but she exceeded any expectation that I could have had! The look on now Husbands face when he saw me said it all. I have to be honest, I wasn’t really sure on what I wanted for my hair or makeup for the wedding day, Carrie showed up having no clue and magically put together a flawless, timeless look for me & my bridesmaids! I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. My hair was honestly a work of art! I should also mention that my makeup and hair held up through the ENTIRE wedding and reception, tears, smiles and lots of hugs later it still looked amazing! I would have to say that she was hands down one of the best investments I made on my wedding day!

Carrie and her team are truly magicians! Carrie did my trial makeup/hair for our engagement pictures. She was on time, meticulous, and I felt like I could trust her when it came to my makeup! When it came time for the big wedding day, Carrie and her team made me and all my bridesmaids look flawless! They do individual lashes, airbrushing, and truly do beautiful work. I absolutely loved working with Carrie and would recommend her to anyone! She is truly a vision in her craft.

Carrie was amazing to work with and I never once worried about how I looked on my wedding day. I felt flawless and confident with my outcome and it didn't hurt that my husband was in awe all day at the talent she had to make me look so great without overdoing it! I recommend her to everyone!! Carrie was AMAZING. I couldn't have asked for more on my wedding day. I met at her home for hair and make up - and explained to her what I was going for. She did not hesitate and made me look and feel beautiful. Working with Carrie was the best decision I made for my wedding. She was so welcoming and made me feel like a life long friend. I absolutely loved working with Carrie! She is an incredible hair and makeup artist and it is very clear that she knows what she is doing in both art forms. She helped us on both our engagement and wedding day and the results for both days was perfect. She took my ideas and translated them perfectly into a stunning result. Carrie did my makeup/hair for our engagements (also served as a trial run on hair and makeup), as well as hair and makeup on our wedding day in Utah. I couldn't more highly recommend her. She is both professional in mannerism and extremely adept at her art. I particularly loved my hair and makeup on our wedding day - it was perfect - exactly what I was looking for.

If you're looking for someone in the area to do hair and makeup, Carrie is an excellent choice - you can be confident that she will make you look fantastic. :)

I really enjoyed working with Carrie and her team. Carrie did my make-up for my engagement shoot and my wedding day. Both experiences were great! I really felt taken care of and I know she understood my vision for my big day. The airbrush was light and airy, but gave me the coverage I needed. It lasted the entire event even through crying during the vows! The only feedback would be from my bridal party and my mom. My mom felt her make up was too overwhelming, but the make-up artist working on her (not Carrie) did not remove the make-up but instead insisted she looked great. For a mom, it was quite a bit of make-up (especially because she doesn't wear a lot), so I think listening to what the client wants should be put ahead of what the overall outcome is (for example, my mom knows about and is okay with her darker skin under her eyes, so instead of covering it up, it should have just been smoothed out). Anyway, overall the experience was fantastic and I would definitely recommend Carrie and her team to brides for any type of event!

I was refered to Carrie Purser by my best friend who had already used her for her wedding and loved her. She was so professional, personable, and I could tell she just really loved what she does. She made my day go so smoothly and less stressful, all while making me look and feel so beautiful. I booked Carrie to do my wedding day hair and makeup. We met together for a brief consult a couple of months before the wedding, and since I wasn't quite sure what I wanted she gave me great advice on not only what my hair and makeup should be, but also my jewelry! She knows exactly how to put your whole "bridal look" together. I didn't do a trial makeup/hair session just to save money, but she didn't need it - she did an amazing job the day of the wedding. And when I say "amazing", I mean like she somehow was able to know exactly what I would like and how to make it look fantastic without me even knowing what I wanted! That's what I loved about my experience with Carrie - she really can interpret what you are thinking and just wave her magic wand to make you look and feel phenomenal. I really feel like she was worth every penny to make my day (and my photos!) very special. Thanks so much Carrie!!

Carrie did a wonderful job on the hair and makeup for me and my three bridesmaids at my wedding last month. She was very quick to respond any time I had a question for her and she was right on time the day of the wedding. I was a little bit worried about everyone being ready on time but Carrie's schedule worked out perfectly! I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup, she really listened to what I wanted and I felt great! I would highly recommend Carrie's services!

There just aren't enough words to express the immense gratitude My bridal party, family, and I all posses for Carrie, Leslie, and Crystal. Their incredible charm and magnetism make you feel as though you are family and their ability to transform and enhance leave you reveling in a beauty you did not know you possessed. This amazing team is incredibly versatile having knocked out 11 women on my big day of varying age (10 years to 75 years), hair type ( long, short, thin, thick, curly, natural black hair), and skin color (dark to light). We were truly enchanted by Carrie and her team, they were a blast, leaving us utterly flawless for the long day ahead while calming our nerves . I was smitten with Carrie from the day of my engagement photo session and I was equally impressed by her team on my big day. My make up on both occasions was beautifully applied and lasted well over 16 hours (might have lasted longer but I removed it at the end of the night). We even had a few family members jump on board, last minute, for hair and makeup, once they saw the incredible job Carrie and her team had performed on me and my bridal party. These women are not only incredibly talented, but they are kind and beautiful souls. My family, bridal party, and I were all sad to have to part ways with them once the work was done. We admire and adore this team for their incredible attention to detail and their effortless ability. I am currently looking for an excuse to book with them again. Can't wait!!!

Carrie did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I have never felt as beautiful as I did that day. She showed up right on time to our hotel room. As soon as you meet Carrie you get a great, relaxed vibe mixed with total professionalism. The make-up was impeccable and my hair was perfect!! I needed a bit of help into my dress and she was right there to help like a great friend. I told her exactly what I wanted and she gave it to me! She was quick but careful and she did an amazing job. Carrie is so easy going and she was open to all of my preferences. She definitely made sure I was happy with the end result. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a professional hair and makeup artist with a ton of talent and a sweet personality. I hired Carrie to do hair and make up onsite for me and my bridesmaids. She made each of us look even more stunning! She is easy going, very professional, and simply a beautiful person. Carrie was an amazing help to my special day!! I was so lucky to have her do my make up! She did exactly what I wanted and if there was anything i didn't like she would change it to what I liked! She was willing to do anything and was so flexible with her schedule! I love that she was so flexible and so easy to get a hold of. If she didn't answer she would get back to me very quickly after that. I never was worried or concerned about anything! I would advise anyone to use her if you are looking for someone easy to work with and wanting your day to be the best day ever and stress free!!!! She came to my home and did my makeup that morning and then came and did a touch up before my reception! I never worried if my make-up was okay, because I knew she would take care of me!!! She did amazing!!

Carrie was amazing! She was so friendly (and having her work on my hair and make up for 2 hours flew by because she was so great to talk to) and she did a truly fantastic job. I viewed dozens of websites for the perfect hair and makeup artist for my wedding day. The vast majority of photos had styles that either looked so over-the-top or like something I could produce on my own. Carrie's work had a beautiful elegance to it, intricate and classic. If she wasn't available for my big day, I probably would have cried. Carrie was absolutely the best choice I could have made. She's fun, easy to work with, and extremely intuitive in her profession. I was extremely pleased with the results. She's absolutely amazing at what she does. I received so many compliments, even the photographer while doing our bridal session commented several times how perfectly done my makeup was for the camera. I think that wedding photos are fairly important in that they can last a lifetime, and Carrie made sure that I'll love those pictures forever. Thanks to Carrie's talent, the one memory that will be imprinted in my mind forever is the look of adoration on my husband's face as I walked down the isle.

When I first heard of Carrie Purser and this new idea of airbrush makeup, I will be honest I was a little bit hesitant. Only because the value of new and improved health and beauty product hasn't been as top notch as I have desired these last few years. Well it was time for me to find someone who had that quality I was looking for because I was getting married!!! Weddings are the most important day of a womans whole life! and it has to be perfect! Right? I feel like makeup is one of the most important things to have on a wedding day and for me it was on the top of my list because I came from a line of having more deep cystic type acne. I was able to have a test type makeup from Carrie and not only was I completely shocked by the cover capability of the airbrush but how it was able to last me throughout the whole evening. (I even went to a party and danced all night) Still after long long hours my makeup was immaculate, never felt more complimented or sought after in one evening by men and women and knew right then that she was the one I was going to hire for the most important day of my life! All women reading this and needing a valid opinion. I am not only recommending airbrush makeup in general, but more specifically recommending Carrie Purser as the kind of person you need for weddings or any kind of important event. I have had other kinds of airbrush makeup done on me and nothing has compared to Carries quality and professionalism. Not only does she make you feel perfect but she makes you look perfect. Thank you Carrie for taking away my blemishes and giving me the beauty I needed to face the people I love and have the memories I will cherish forever

Fairytale Hair and Make Up is a wonderful company. They are very professional and also fun to be with. Carrie did my hair and makeup for my engagements, bridals and also for my wedding day! She is absolutely amazing at what she does and I would highly recommend her to anybody. I really had no idea what I wanted and she made me feel so comfortable in what I though would be a tough decision making process. We got married in Cancun, Mexico and not once did I have to worry about if I was going to sweat the makeup off or if the makeup was going to run because of all the crying I did, I had total trust in Carrie and she knew exactly what she needed to do to prevent those things from happening. Carrie even airbrushed my husband and nobody could even tell that he had makeup on! I still look back at my pictures and think to myself "how beautiful" and I owe that all to Carrie. Words cannot express how grateful I am to have had such a wonderful experience with Carrie and I cant thank her enough for making me look gorgeous on the most exciting day of my life!!

Carrie did an amazing job with not only me but my bridesmaids and flower girl She was very good at figuring out what kind of look i wanted and she really pulled everything off the wedding day. I got tons of random people come up to me and tell me how beautiful i looked. I also loved the fact that i ddin't have to worry about putting more on because she was on top of it and the airbrush she uses stays on fabulously! If you don't want to worry about your hair and makeup and/or your bridesmaids makeup (some girls really don't know how to do hair or makeup) than shes your woman!

Carrie was AMAZING! I had contacted Carrie about a year before my wedding, but due to financial reasons, I initially couldn't afford her services. :( (Sad, I know!) Anyway, fast forward to June and it's time for engagement pictures and the other makeup and hair people fell through! (Again, sad) I had a week to find someone else in the MIDDLE of wedding season! *insert stress here!* So I went out on a limb and contacted Carrie again to see if there would be a possibility that I could have her help me with my makeup and stuff.....Hallelujah! It was meant to be!!! She had another bride that day, but the schedules worked out where she could help me after her other bride was done! I could not describe how ecstatic I was! (I basically cried!) She will seriously bend over backwards to help you in any way that she can. Anyway, I'm not a normal makeup wearer so initially; it took some getting used to, but her methods made it look so natural and so flawless--I really didn't want to take it off later that night! Fast forward 3 months, and it was time for groomals; but I wasn’t worried, I knew I was in good hands! Even though I picked the heaviest dress possible…Add another month, and my big day is finally here! She was at my house at 7:30 AM sharp! She being on time took so much weight off my shoulders! AMAZING! And throughout the day, she helped me out with so many things! (Since we are both Asian, someone actually thought she was my mom! Haha!) I couldn’t have thanked her enough!
If you go with her, you won’t regret it! I promise!

I used Carrie Purser and her team for my bridesmaids, my mom, and my hair and makeup on my wedding day! They were fabulous! They used nothing but good quality makeup brands on us and were very clean and professional! Despite me being very picky, Carrie remained friendly and professional the whole time! She never lost her composure with me, but proceeded to fix everything to my liking!! She is DEFINITELY detail oriented and a perfectionist! That's what I like the most about her and her team! Initially I hired another company for my big day, but decided to hire Carrie Purser for my engagement session just in case.. BEST decision I ever made! You'll read why in a bit.
Carrie was unavailable for my engagement session so she sent Larri. Larri arrived early and with a great attitude. She was super sweet and knew her stuff. The only tiff I had which is why I docked some points is that there must have been miscommunication between Carrie and Larri because she arrived with a straightener rather than a curling iron but she made it work and in the end my hair turned out ok. My makeup on the other hand, was absolutely flawless and perfect and lasted ALL day. It looked great in my pictures!

Fast forward to my trial with the company I hired for the wedding. They flat out sucked and were over an hour late! They offered me a retrial which happened 6 days before my wedding. They were late again and sucked even more! I had no idea what to do at only days from my wedding. I immediately thought of Larri so I contacted Carrie (this is sounding like a Dr. Seus rhyme lol). To my relief she was available!! So I had her do my makeup as well as the bridesmaids. Larri knocked it out of the ballpark with our makeup. We were all VERY satisfied. So in the end Larri and Carrie saved the day!!

Carrie was punctual, professional, & personable. She helped me on short notice. She did both my hair & makeup & traveled to my home. My makeup still looked good even after a night of dancing. The look was very similar to my everyday natural makeup. I did darken my lipstick after our session because we couldn't find a darker shade. I paid $350 for everything, which I thought was a bit pricey.

Quality of Service: I thought the quality was great, however, my hair fell out right when I got to the temple...It's okay, because that is just my hair and my mom was able to fix it in the bridal room. However, that is not what we expect when we pay the price we did.
Responsiveness: Carrie was very responsive to what we wanted and what we wanted changed! Awesome!
Professionalism: I was pretty disappointed that Carrie had scheduled another bride in between my ceremony and reception. She ended up actually being late back to my house to prepare for the reception and it was very awkward to keep telling the photographer that Carrie wasn't here yet every time the photographer asked... I ended up just going up to my mom's room by myself and touching up my makeup (since I cried it all off in the ceremony, haha) It look good enough and we started the photos! Then Carrie came and made me look PERFECT! Thank you! One thing I thought was not professional was when Carrie did arrive after we were waiting she went right to the photographer and asked for a photo with her. The photographer handled the situation very well and told her they would get one later, but that I was the main priority.
Value: I was impressed how my skin looked after the reception!! It was still so beautiful!!!! My hair was too!!!
Flexibility: I feel that carrie was very flexible by getting me in for a hair color, doing my hair and makeup at our ranch for pictures on a holiday and the list goes on and on!!! Thank you thank you!!
