Wedding Catering at its finest

This was such a god send of choice for our wedding day. From the very beginning Kristy was such a pleasure to work with. Our tasting felt so intimate and like we were really looked after. From there, they were so accommodating and really helped guide us through the plans for the day. The actual wedding day, I cannot thank the entire staff enough. They were true rockstars. They made sure we always had food, they’d grab us drinks if we needed, they even helped with a last minute error on our parts and handled it with calmness and professionalism. We love these amazing people and cannot wait to continue dining with them. We wish them nothing but continued success for years to come. They will never let you down, I promise!

Bowman Weiss Rehearsal Dinner

We recently had our son's rehearsal dinner at the Carriage House and couldn't have been more pleased. Kristi was amazing. She helped us plan a fantastic evening and handled last minute issues with ease. The serving staff was attentive and exceptional. The food was delicious. We had many compliments from the guests regarding their meal. The bride and groom were very pleased. A great time was had by all. We absolutely recommend the Carriage House!

Delicious food, great service!

Carriage house inn catering was absolutely amazing for our wedding at Bluebird Manor. After securing our venue, they sent over a list of preferred caterers, and we set up a tasting with CH. We met Kristy at our tasting, and she is the sweetest human! Answered all of our questions, gave us advice and let us know that their catering company could do anything we wanted/needed! After we walked out of our tasting raving about the food, we knew we didn’t need to taste anything else. We booked and kept in contact with Kristy over the year asking questions, adding things to our contract and all. She was always quick to respond and made the whole process so seamless. On our wedding day, the entire staff was so professional, fun, and easy to work with! I can not recommend Carriage House Inn enough for your catering needs. The whole team is so attentive and know their stuff. Thank you so much to every team member that made our wedding day perfect, you all are rockstars!

Great experience

Carriage House Inn catered our daughter’s wedding this past April and we couldn’t ask for a better vendor to work with. Our experience began with them working to accommodate scheduling a tasting as we were coming from out of state. Kristy and Chef T were able to figure out a day and time that worked for all of us. Kristy was so helpful throughout the planning process and was very responsive to our questions. Her advice, suggestions and assistance made us very comfortable throughout the planning process. Chef T was great to work with also. It was very obvious that she took pride in the preparation, taste and presentation of her dishes during our tasting and the wedding. Throughout the reception, both Kristy and Chef T checked on us multiple times and ensured that the evening went smoothly. The entire staff, including the servers and bartenders, were accommodating, friendly and a pleasure to work with. Finally, the food was amazing. Many guests commented on the quality and presentation of the meals (prime rib and crab cakes) and several told us it was the best wedding meal they had ever had. I would highly recommend Carriage House Inn to anyone looking for a great caterer to make their special day unforgettable. Thank you Carriage House Inn.

Delicious and amazing

Wedding food can get a bad rep but Carriage house changes that-it was absolutely delicious!! All of our guest have rave compliments. I am vegetarian (and had a few guest that are as well) and they worked with me to make an amazing dish! Cannot recommend them enough! Jeanie was great to work with and super helpful!

Something of the kind

It was a spectacular presentation of food. All of the feedback from our guests included comments such as "everything was tasty", "simply amazing", and "well-seasoned". (For example, we heard the filet melted in your mouth and the mash potatoes were perfectly seasoned. The food was a great compliment to a wonderful wedding experience.) For over a year, we worked with Kristy and Chef T planning what would be the best food experience for our guests. We enjoyed working with them through each phase and the result was a professional, flawless execution. Team JHPforthewin highly recommends them as our wedding was everything we wanted. Great food that our wedding guests keeping talking about!

Our wedding was held at Stone Manor Country Club which Carriage House is the sole caterer for and we were not disappointed! We had the tasting before COVID and it was a great experience with lots of food to try (even gave each bride a rose). Even with having to change our wedding date to a whole year later due to COVID, Jeanne remained extremely responsive even with last minute questions I was asking. On the big day, the entire staff was extremely polite and always kept checking on us to make sure we did not need anything. Our main meals included twin crab cake, tortellini ravioli, and chicken florentine while the appetizers were hawaiian meatballs, spanikopita, chicken satay, and coconut shrimp (highly recommend all especially the coconut shrimp and twin crab cakes!) Several guests raved about the delicious food and the quick service during the reception. Thank you Carriage House for helping make our day so special and stress free!

Napoli/Ervin Wedding - Father of the Bride

For our daughters wedding, I found the Carriage House experience to be a top shelf one that I can sum up in a 3-4 word phrase... "EASY PEASY and DELICIOUS". They were easy to deal with, they are on top of their game and provided exceptional recommendations and guidance in terms of food matchings, portions, apps, etc. THE FOOD was delicious AND they worked well with other vendors (keep in mind we had a 200 person wedding) - a tough task. Staff was very friendly, professional and easy to deal with. All in all I'd highly recommend the Carriage House - an EXCEPTIONAL Value!

Great tasting food and great to work with! Jeanne was easy to communicate with throughout and setting up all the details for our wedding with her was a breeze. Above and Beyond

Carriage House was our caterer through Stone Manor. They impressed us so much day of the wedding, with the kindest bartenders, bringing out glasses of wine as soon as the ceremony was done, allowing us to bring our own alcohol and making signature drinks with no explanation, and more. The value was great - linen and cake cutting was included. The food was delicious and generous portions. They are accommodating to make our menu what we wanted. Jeanne was so responsive and accommodating.

Highly recommend

Our venue (Stone Manor Country Club) had Carriage House Inn as their exclusive caterer, I can understand why! Jeannie, the catering manager, was great to work with from the contract to the tasting to last minute updates we had the week of the wedding. We did our tasting pre-pandemic and it was a large group of couples sampling many different menu items Carriage House had to offer. The tasting was organized and efficient. We got to try most of the items we selected for our menu, we felt we were able to get a sense of how delicious everything was. Our wedding had to be rescheduled due to COVID and Carriage House was flexible and helpful getting us all set with a new date. They helped us update our menu items, table settings, and serving options to make sure we complied with all of the COVID safety precautions. On our wedding day, everything went great from our end. Our guests felt very safe and most importantly they LOVED the food! Carriage House’s signature crab cakes were a big hit. The bartenders provided by Carriage House did an awesome job as well. At the night end of the night Carriage House packaged our extra meals (we had a few people unable to attend last minute) and our extra cake for us to take home! We would highly recommend Carriage House for your wedding caterer!

Delicious Food

WOW!!! We are so thrilled with how our daughter and son-in-law's reception came out at Springfield Manor in Thurmont, MD on 10/5/19 where Carriage House Catering is the exclusive caterer!! We were hoping for the best given we only had this caterer to work with when we first booked this venue. Happily, Carriage House exceeded our expectations! Starting from the "Pre-Ceremony" beverage set up, to the cocktail hour, the ballroom set up, the dining service, and everything else throughout the entire reception, we were so pleased and happy with the efforts of the entire catering team. The food was absolutely delicious - appetizers, salad, salad dressing, rolls & butter, and entrees!!! Our entrees were Filet Mignon, Chicken Florentine and Vegetarian Lasagna. The chef did an amazing job - it still blows us away how a caterer can create meals for 200 people, serve them hot, fork-tender, and so perfect to everyone! The bartending staff and wait staff worked very hard, were efficient, professional, and continued to smile throughout the entire evening. Great service all around from everyone who worked our event! Jeannie, Catering Manager, was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, and I appreciated all her help and flexibility in creating all aspects of the food and beverage for our reception. Since the food and drink are a HUGE part of making a wedding a success, we are thrilled that Carriage House Catering delivered beyond what we expected. BEST WEDDING EVER!!

Easy to work with. Good pricing

I didn’t have a choice for caterer- they were the only option for my venue, but the food was good. Jeanne was great to communicate with. The pricing was very good. Most places I was finding were 2-3x the cost of carriage house. They did have a variety of options for pricing on food too. Easy to work with.

Great food, great staff

They are the exclusive caterer to our venue, Springfield Manor, and after having the wedding, we know why. They worked with us to create a menu that fit our budget, were very accommodating for all last minute changes and questions, and again, every staff member was so sweet and helpful. We thought the food was even better than at the tasting, which was a little overwhelming to us. That being said, everything was streamlined and the most difficult part was picking the dishes for dinner as it was all very good. The night of went so smoothly, we cannot be happier.

Great food and service!

Carriage House was our caterer. We did not have any other options at our venue but that was okay with us.

The service and food was even better on our wedding day than at the tasting which I was super thankful for. The tasting event is for a very large group of people so the food had been out for a little and definitely was not as fresh and tasty compared to the actual wedding day.

Jeannie is wonderful to work with. She is very kind and responds quickly! She was such a sweetheart throughout the whole process. She was by far the easiest person to communicate with at Springfield Manor. We decided to go with the buffet option and are so glad we did. The food was hot and fresh unlike some of the weddings we attended this past year. Everything came out tasting great!

Sherry the coordinator of the day was also wonderful to work with! Her team did a great job taking care of us and made sure everything ran according to schedule.

Simply Delicious!!!

We highly recommend Carriage House Catering! They were attentive, easy to work with, and personalized the menu to fit our dietary needs! We had a few chefs at our wedding that said it was the best wedding food they have ever eaten! (don't worry...our friends don't do weddings lol) They were flexible with our guest changes and special requests for a non-traditional seating arrangement! We made our own centerpieces so they let us set up early so we could get ready in time for the wedding.
They were even nice enough to help us clean up the centerpieces at the end of the night! Thank you for EVERYTHING and patience with our wedding vision!! We appreciate it!! :D P.S. We had a fair amount of friends/family drop out right before the wedding so they boxed up our leftovers for us to take... We enjoyed experiencing the food with the following day. Plus, the leftovers were just as good as our wedding day and made a great shepherds pie a day later lol Thanks again!!! :D

The catering from Carriage House was simply the best! The presentation was magnificent, the food and appetizers were delicious, the service was friendly, the attention to detail was spectacular!! From the moment we experienced the "tasting event" as we moved closer to the wedding up until and through the wedding day Carriage House displayed complete professionalism delivered with a sincere smile. We had to use Carriage House as it was the exclusive caterer for our venue. However, we were so pleased with their work and the quality of their food! Everyone loved the food - including my very picky family members - and so that's when I knew that it was well worth it. They have a good variety of food with different price points, so you can really be thoughtful about what you are choosing. As a bride, I would have liked the heads up that they automatically charge 20% gratuity and charge for separate services like fee per bartender as well as fee per bartender set up, plus fee for set up any earlier than 2 hours. BUT I do think their work definitely deserved the 20% tip!! Just a warning that it is included as I know many do not include it. Jeannie the catering manager was so easy to work with and very quick to respond to emails. The catering staff that was there on the day of were all so attentive and friendly. They made sure that my groom and I as well as our wedding party got refreshments and apps right after the ceremony. Very happy we got "stuck" with Carriage House!

We had our wedding reception at Springfield Manor, and Carriage House catered our reception. Jeannie was absolutely wonderful to work with in choosing the menu and also answering any questions we had along the way! They offer a wide variety of menu choices for a range of budgets. We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was, and my husband and I certainly agree! The food was amazing, along with the presentation. It was an added bonus that linens were provided, since it was one less thing that I had to think about. The staff was also fantastic! Carriage House Inn was perfect! Everyone was accommodating and very nice! We used the upstairs for our rehearsal dinner and it was perfectly decorated and the staff was on point and easy going. I would recommend Carriage House in for a small reception, rehearsal dinner, or just a lunch or dinner. The food is great!

My husbands and my engagement was only three weeks long so one of the most amazing things about booking Springfield Manor was that they exclusively used the Carriage House as their caterer. I had heard many good things about them and Jeanne was a dream to work with. She was very accommodating and extremely understanding with the last minuteness of the planning. She was so easy to work with and efficiently helped me get everything done. She made wedding planning feel like nothing! I am so thankful for all her help. The food was excellent! Everyone that came was very impressed. I actually ate everything on my plate, unheard of for a bride, I know! Jeanne was great! The servers were excellent and they even accommodated us well since we didn't do the traditional cake cutting. I totally recommend them for any event! Thank you again!

Carriage House catering did an impeccable job with our wedding food and truly went above and beyond to make us and our guests happy! They have so many delicious options to choose from at prices that will fit any budget. My husband and I chose the cheaper options due to the size of our wedding and I could not believe the amount of food we got and how unbelievable it was. When we went in for our tasting, we were both blown away by how good the food was and how organized they are helping you meet all your needs. They keep you informed and let you know what exactly they need from you and when which is super helpful for brides without wedding planners! On the day of our wedding, we naturally were busy "working the room" during dinner so they even brought my husband I out new meals so they could be hot and fresh for us! In addition, Carriage House had set aside a large number of appetizers so my husband and i (and the wedding party) could get some snacks before the rest of the busy night! I felt very well cared for and had not a single worry all night. We used Carriage house for all our table lines and bar services as well and everything was just perfect!

We had a great experience with catering! They provide all linens which is amazing and set everything up for you, we paid a small fee for them to set up early just for our own peace of mind. They set up the room just how we asked and had all the tables ready for vendors who needed them. The food was delicious and super affordable! We had close to 200 guests so that was a huge selling point for us. They also served the food in a timely manner so things moved according to plan so we could get to the dancing!

We had our wedding at Springfield Manor on 7/7/17 and Carriage House was the exclusive caterer for this venue. Jeanne was an absolute joy to work with. She was always very responsibe to my emails and made sure everything was exactly what my wife and I wanted. I cannot express how delicious and generous sized portions the food was. All of our guests absolutely loved their meals. My father is very picky about his food due to medical reasons, and Jeanne worked with me to make sure he had an off menu meal he would be able to eat and enjoy. They were able to accommodate my other vendors and have my table setup competed early. Everything was absolutely perfect. You won't regret hiring them!

We celebrated at Stone Manor Country Club and Carriage House was the preferred caterer so it was a decision made easy. With that said, we couldn't be happier that they were our vendor. Our experience started with Jeannie contacting us and outlining next steps. We were well in advance of our event so she advised the approximate time table for our tasting and answered any other questions we had via email.

We had our tasting about 5 months before the event and were assisted (with input from the chef) on our menu. The communication prior to the event was excellent, timely, and friendly. The day of, Crystal, my coordinator arrived with her team and started setting up. Any detail that I felt was important I conveyed to Crystal and she addressed properly. Crystal and her staff were more than accommodating. Katie, the bartender, did every possible thing to make sure myself and my husband were taken care of. At one point, I went upstairs to change and Katie brought my drink to me! She deserves a big shout out for having my back and keeping our drinks full at all times. All the staff were amazing. I can't say enough good things about my experience. They are worth their wait in gold!

I recently worked with Jeanne, Sherry and the staff at Carriage House Catering for my wedding at Springfield Manor. During the planning phases, Jeanne was very responsive and extremely helpful. I had very specific requests for my wedding that the staff were always willing to accommodate! For example:
-I asked to have the ballroom set up the day before the event (and because there weren't any other events scheduled, this was possible).
-We had three guests that were vegan and gluten free so the chef had to create specific meals just for them.
-Instead of having the champagne toast during the speeches, we opted to have it at midnight (for NYE wedding).
-They helped me clean up my personal decorations at the end of the night (memory table, escort card table, etc.).
-They flawlessly delivered our Signature Drink for the guests.
-Sherry was available throughout the entire reception to tend to any needs that I had. She even would personally get me my drinks :-)

The food was excellent. Portions were great, food was hot and the quality was amazing. All of my guests were extremely pleased with their meals (even the picky ones). And I would like that add that I thought the food was better at the reception than it was at the tasting!

The food was so good! The portions were also put of control. Everyone was personable and nice. We were worried because it was the exclusive vendor for our venue but they took care of everything for us. AMAZING.

Food for our wedding was TOP NOTCH! We ordered the tornados of beef and crabcake and the greek chicken portabella as our meal choices. Both were amazing! We had several different appetizers for our guests including 3 Cheese Tortellini Tapenade, Meatballs, Chicken Satay, Salmon Purse, and Filet Crostini. We had many wedding guests say we had the best food of any wedding they've ever been to. My husband and I went back to the Carriage House Inn for our 1 year anniversary and the chef prepared our wedding meal of tornados of beef and a crabcake specially for us. We also got the crab dip. AWESOME! Again, we were so impressed! Food is A+! Actual restaurant could use some updating but the food outweighs the atmosphere.

I had my wedding at Springfield Manor Winery & Distillery almost 2 months ago and Carriage House Inn is their exclusive catering vendor. I'm so happy they were because the food was so great! They have so many different choices and definitely gives you many different options so you can customize your meal. After me and my husband got done eating we went around to each guest table to thank all of the guests for coming. Practically everyone has their plate completely clean! So many guests complimented how great the food tasted and I 100% agree with them. The food was absolutely wonderful. So much flavor, hot, and came out in a timely manner. I want to thank Jeanie for being so wonderful to work with. She answered all of my questions so fast and efficiently and helped make my day stress free. Thank you so much!

Carriage House did our May 6th wedding at Springfield Manor, they were so easy to work with and very responsive to all of my questions. The food turned out amazing, now weeks later our guests are still talking about it! Sherrie helped to get everything ready on the day of and I can't say enough about her! My family was so impressed with how she had everything organized and helped us with all the last minute changes since it was raining. I can't say enough about them :)

Carriage House Inn catered our April wedding in Gettysburg. Coming from out of town, they made the process so easy and effortless. We worked with Beth throughout the whole process. She was just wonderful. From the tasting consultation, to panning out guest numbers and small details, Carriage House was so flexible and responsive. Our food at the reception was outstanding. I am still getting rave reviews from all of our guests. I was the first of my friends to get married, and Carriage House helped set the bar very high for amazing food and service.

I would highly recommend this vendor to anyone getting married in the area. Amazing food, amazing service, I cannot say enough good things about them. My only regret is that we don't live closer so I can enjoy it more often. Here's looking forward to our next trip down!

I know that you all do hundreds of weddings a year, but you made me feel like my wedding was your only priority. Thank you Jeannie for not only taking my multiple calls and promptly answering my e-mails, but for helping me create a memorable event that reflected both my husband's and my taste, all while helping me fit it into my parents budget.

Your crew was amazing on the day of our wedding! They made my guests feel welcomed and taken care of. My uncle (who is in the food service industry) made it a point to comment on how quickly everyone was served. I've been at other weddings where the first table was finished with their meals before the last table is served... my wedding was nothing like that. Thank you!

Carriage House Catering was an awesome catering service to work with. They created a beautiful venue for my daughter's wedding by supplying beautiful linens, dishes, silverware and glassware. They did all that I asked of them from the placement of tables to the set up of small details (place cards, favors, etc). They worked very well with my florist and DJ. The barn venue looked absolutely incredible and I received so many positive comments from my guests. The food was delicious and all of our guests really, really enjoyed our wedding reception. The wedding coordinator who attended to us, Sherry, was completely responsive to all my requests and those of my daughter. The wait staff were all pleasant and accommodating to our guests. Jeanne, the person I dealt with directly with Carriage House, was also extremely accommodating to all my requests. I look forward to enjoying a dinner one evening at the Carriage House Inn so I can continue to support their business. Thank you Jeanne, Sherry and all of the employees at Carriage House Inn for making my only daughter's wedding day so special and memorable.

The team at Carriage House Catering is AMAZING! Our wedding was nearly a month ago and people are still raving about how great the food was. They were so easy to work with as well. We went and did our tasting and were able to pick exactly what we wanted to serve without any trouble - everything we had was so good it was hard to narrow it down. For our wedding we did a buffet/station combination. We had a buffet for salads, pasta, potatoes and vegetables, along with a salad that was served at each seat, and then a station for prime rib that had a chef carving it on spot as well as a chef that served crab cakes at another stations. Their original menu offered a small mini crab cake but the Carriage House was able to work with us and do a larger crab cake that was more of an entree size that we served at a station. Everything was so great and came out hot and right on time. I would highly recommend this catering company to any future brides!

The Carriage House catered my daughter's wedding at Stone Manor. We couldn't have been happier! The staff was friendly and professional and the food (we chose a combination plated dinner -- prime rib and salmon) was absolutely amazing. Jeannie was great to work with as we were planning -- she even suggested some money-saving options (e.g., providing ice and soda ourselves instead of purchasing it from them. I loved the flexibility we had to provide our own beer and wine instead of paying $$$$$ per guest for an open bar.

Delicious food for very reasonable prices. We loved that carriage house had a wide variety and lots of options for us to personalize to our wedding. We went for a more "fun" set of hors d'oeuvres, which were a huge hit with our guests.

Also, our vegetarian guests said that the portobello mushroom pasta was the best vegetarian option at a wedding they have ever had.

I cannot say anything but good about Jeannie and her staff. They are some of the nicest, most helpful people. I really enjoyed working with Jeannie and all those who helped maked my wedding night amazing. The food was outstanding, to say the least. The presentation was beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked. I was told by many people that it was the best wedding food they've ever had and that was a great compliment! I wouldn't have changed a thing about the food. The bridal party were able to come in away from all the guests before their entrance and had a nice array of veggies, cheese, and drinks. It was perfect! Also, what you get for the price is unbelievable. I was so happy with the price and it was one of the most reasonable catering companies we looked at. It sure wasn't cheap food, though, all the choices whether on the more expensive side of the menu or the cheaper side were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much, Carriage House!

I would select Carriage House Catering 1000 times over. They were phenomenal, not only to work with, but the food was amazing!! People are still telling me weeks later how amazing the wedding food was. It is difficult to cook a filet perfectly 80 times, but they did it. The staff was professional and really fun. Jeannie and her staff were all amazing and I'm soooo happy Stone Manor Country Club prefers them!!

We cannot give enough compliments to Jeannie and her staff. From the beginning Jeannie was super responsive to all of my questions and was always willing to give advice and suggestions on how to make things work. At our tasting she was quick to put my parents at ease about the entire process (including things that didn't have to do with catering!) which we very much appreciated. Her familiarity with our venue was super helpful as well. The food at the wedding tasted and looked just as it did at the tasting. We had the braised beef, teriyaki salmon, and chicken roulade; all three were delicious and perfectly cooked. Our guests raved about both the appetizers and the entrees (try the crab cakes--they're out of this world!). The day of the wedding Crystal was sure to check on us to make sure that we were fed (and that the food was hot) and went out of her way to bring us drinks from the bar. Thanks again!

We picked Stone Manor Country Club as our venue and the caterer that they worked with the most was the Carriage House. We decided that it would be easiest to go with Carriage House since their familiarity with the venue would be less stressful for us. When we went to our tasting we found that the staff was incredibly friendly. We really enjoyed our tasting and the staff was very helpful in making suggestions for our menu. Jeanne was incredibly responsive to all of our emails and a big help when it came to last minute changes. When it came to our wedding day we actually found that two of the staff members that had helped us at our tasting were working our reception. They were amazing and we would like to say a big thank you to Crystal who managed our reception. Everything flowed seamlessly and there was zero stress due to the hard work that the staff put into our reception. The meals that were served at our wedding were better than what we had sampled at our tasting. The food was so good that even the pickiest of our guests commented on how delicious the food was. I would highly recommend Carriage House to anyone who asked. They were a pleasure to work with and we couldn't have asked for a better food or service!

We just got married this past Friday at the Springfield Manor and the Carriage House Inn catered it all and the food was delicious! My guests are still raving about the crab cakes and filet mignon! From the appetizers to the entrees, everything was delicious and presented beautifully! The staff was great as well! My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with Carriage House. Jeanne and her team are great at what they do. Carriage House is the preferred caterer for our venue, and we’re so happy we went with them. First of all, Jeanne was very responsive, answered all of our questions, and let us basically design our dinner menu from items not on their sample menu. Our appetizers for the cocktail hour came from their menu and were so delicious! For our entrees, we wanted to do pulled pork and fried catfish with some southern sides, and they had no problem with us deviating from their menu while still fitting our budget. We had quite a few people tell us it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. We also had a few guests with special dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free) and Carriage House was able to accommodate everyone. They had appetizers waiting for the wedding party after the ceremony in a private room so that we could eat while we signed our marriage license, took some photos, etc. We had a minor SNAFU with the seating, but it was worked out quickly. Jeanne helped us every step of the way with our seating chart, scheduling, and was just so responsive and always had an answer. We’re just waiting now to have time to go out to their restaurant for dinner!

Carriage House Catering was beyond exceptional!

Jeannie was incredibly awesome to work with and made the wedding planning process very easy. She is very professional, courteous, responsive, and personable.

The food was excellent.
We received a plethora of compliments from our guests for the cocktail hour and dinner. Get the twin crab cakes!

We used CHI catering because they were the preferred caterer for our venue (Stone Manor) and really there was nothing telling us not to try them. When I started working with CHI, I emailed back and forth with Jeanne. She was so, so friendly and really knew what she was doing. I had so many questions about how many appetizers for a certain number of people and a lot of detailed questions. She was able to answer everything quickly and kept me calm throughout the process.

My fiance, myself, my parents, and his parents, went to Emmitsburg to taste test our menu. We were extremely happy with the food. We ended up changing one item and Jeanne was very understanding. We were able to taste the appetizers we chose and all of our meal items. Everything was so delicious and I knew we had made the right choice.

As the wedding day came closer, Jeanne answered all of my emails in a very timely manner and everything went flawlessly. The staff was so professional and really knew what they were doing. People said their food was delicious. I did hear some complaints about the salad and it did make my mom sick, which I felt bad about...but I don't think it was anyone's fault. The food items we had were chicken florentine, teriyaki salmon, new york strip, and a veggie saute. They gave us (bride and groom) a separate entree of crab cakes, as we requested. Everything was delicious!!!!

We didn't have an option with our venue (the lodges at gettysburg) to shop around for a caterer. At first I didn't really like the fact that we didn't get to pick our own caterer, but in all honesty, I'm so glad we didn't! We had a taste test that the venue set up, and we loved everything! Except we both agreed we didn't like 1 of the sauces for the beef choice, they changed it for us with no problem! Everyone at the wedding all said the food was amazing! The only downfall was that the wait staff were too quick to clean up everyone's plates.

Wow, Jeanne and her group from Carriage House Catering hit it out of the park with my daughter Rachel's wedding on November 1 at Stone Manor CC. The food was absolutely outstanding. Our group has some foodies and they raved about the food that Jeanne and staff created for the wedding. The entire staff did an excellent job in creating the wedding of our hopes. All was executed beautifully and with a lot of class. The servers were friendly and professional. They made the wedding a first class affair and I thank Jeanne so much for being responsive to my questions before the wedding and for creating such a beautiful evening for my daughter and her new husband. Jeannie is the best!!! She is so responsive and helpful! Had a blast with her during our tasting (by far the best part of wedding planning) and their food is delicious! We received a lot of compliments from our guests for the cocktail hour and dinner.

The actual Carriage House employees who worked our wedding were also extremely professional and wonderful. They all were so eager to make sure everything about the day was exactly what we wanted :)

Carriage House was our caterer for our reception at Springfield Manor. I was pleased with the samples they provided at our tasting, but with any big event, I was nervous about how they would scale up the quality for a larger crowd. Turns out I didn't need to worry - everything we had was wonderful! We had a buffet, and the food was hot, well displayed, and easy to access, not to mention delicious. Jeannie and her team were super responsive and easy to work with as well. I've been recommending them to everyone I know, mostly because I want to go to another wedding they cater so I can eat their food again :-)

Carriage House Catering was outstanding. Everything went PERFECT. The food was the biggest compliment that we received from everyone. All meals were hot on time and cooked to perfection. So a special shout out to those in the kitchen. We could not be happier and to receive that many compliments on the food and staff made our wedding very special for everyone.

Carriage House Inn was wonderful to work with, from the initial meeting to the day of the wedding. Their service was amazing and the food was fresh and delicious. Maryland Crab Cakes were a big hit with the wedding guests! I highly recommend them.

Amazing service and quality food! My guests were blown away! I had several guests tell me it was the best wedding meal they've had (crab cakes and filet)...including a vegetarian friend (mushroom saute)! Jeannie was so wonderful to work with. She took a lot of the stress out of the day, taking care of so many details to make things perfect. I highly recommend!!!

Jeannie Phelps is the Catering Manager at Carriage House Inn, she was great. I was emailing her constantly and she always gave me the answers I needed and then some. They were very accommodating to my busy schedule, making time for me to come in for a tasting. The food was delicious, everyone at the wedding reception was raving about the food. Most people went back for seconds!

The food was amazing and the staff at the event and before we very attentive and professional. I still am getting compliments on how delicious the food was from my guests. The bartenders where also great. They made sure that the mother and father of the bride had their favorite drinks throughout the whole night. Any question I could possibly have they answered quickly. They day of staff was wonderful, if there were any issues they kept it under control and addressed it right away.

Incredible service and food!! We had a decent sized wedding, about 90 guests with no assigned seating but a seated meal. Billy Jo and her staff never expressed that anything would be difficult, were extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process and day of our wedding. The food was DELICIOUS!! We had the tilapia and tuscan chicken. Presentation was beautiful and they paid close attention to detail. I am so happy we went with Carriage House Inn and I will recommend them for EVERYONE in the future!

We loved working with Carriage House Inn for our wedding! The staff was absolutely wonderful, especially Jeannie Phelps, the Catering Manager. Jeannie is a warm, responsive, helpful, and delightful person. She is a master in customer service and really went out of her way to make sure that we got what we wanted, including letting us substitute some of our own recipes. Jeannie is a true treasure and I would love to work with Carriage House anytime! With Carriage House, the relationship feels very personal, not strictly business. We appreciated the flexibility in a lot of areas with the menu and even pricing for our recipes and we were also thrilled with the staff during the wedding. They were very professional and everything went off beautifully! They even made sure to keep an eye on my husband and I during to wedding so we didn't run out of drinks. The food was good, although a little cold, but most guests were very pleased. Carriage House also offers many good options at varying price points, which we liked. Overall, we were extremely satisfied! We highly recommend Carriage House.

Outstanding service!!!!!! Food was exquisite and looked like artwork instead of just a meal. We had our wedding on November 9, 2013 at Stone Manor. I would rate the experience at Stone Manor 6 out of 5 stars!!! The grounds were stunning, the manor house is gorgeous, and Brian Childs and the staff are outstanding. Everything was wonderful – perfect really! We could not have been happier!

We also used Carriage House Catering – the preferred vendor – again 6 out of 5 stars – the food and service was excellent and well-presented. We have received numerous compliments on how good the food tasted. Jeanne and the staff are experienced and professional and did a wonderful job.

Main Street Sweets – recommended by Carriage House Catering – perfect wedding cake and great mini desserts! Extremely easy to work with and a seamless delivery of a wonderful product - 6 out of 5 stars!

Carriage House came as the recommended caterer with my venue, and I'm so glad that we chose them. Jeanne and the whole Carriage House team were fantastic to work with. Throughout the entire process, Jeanne was quick to respond (even to my silliest of questions). The Day Of staff was so kind and did everything from dishing out compliments, to setting tables, lighting candles, and preparing for dinner. Appetizers kept guests happy through cocktail hour, and when it was dinner time, our guests were even more thrilled. Food was out right on schedule, and the table settings were great. Chef Bob & his team cooked outstanding food. We had so many compliments on our meals (Beef, Chicken, & Vegetarian plates). I would recommend Carriage House to anyone and everyone. They made our day seamless and perfect!

Simply fantastic! Jeannie was a pleasure to work with. Chef Bob is amazing. For our wedding, we even made a special request to provide 'lumpia' (Filippino egg rolls) for our guests. Oh man were they outstanding! The service was great. The personal treatment that my wife and I received that night was a great addition. Plates were made for us (we chose the buffet option) and the staff was always checking to make sure we had what we needed. All in all, Carriage House is a GREAT catering company to work with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We got married at Stone Manor this summer and used Carriage House Inn as their caterer. I don't think I can say enough good things about this place but I'll try my best..

1) The food was AWESOME. We weren't super impressed during our tasting but the night of the wedding, the food that came out was even better and SO good. We had a plated dinner and offered our guests the choice of either Skirt Steak Chimichurri or Salmon Oscar (vegetarian meal was a mushroom sautee). Sides were the green beans and israeli couscous. All of my guests said the food was amazing. I obviously didn't get to be a part of the cocktail hour but everyone said the food was delicious for that too.

2) The service was great. I sent Jeannie a timeline of how I wanted the night to go and everything came out right on cue. It went so seamlessly that even if there was a problem, I was completely unaware of it. My salad was put right in front of me as soon as I sat down and my entree (huge entree and plated beautifully btw) was served very soon after I was done with my salad. On top of that, I had a intense seating arrangement and meal assignment. There were people with gluten allergies, vegans, shellfish, etc. Everything was accommodated. All I had to do was let her know how I indicated it on the place cards. Jeannie took care of the rest.

3) Jeannie was great and SUPER easy to work with. If I forgot about a detail, she asked about it to make sure. If I had a question, she answered right away. I had made my own centerpieces and decorations and was worried about having someone set them up for me. I gave her instructions on what to do with them and she had the tent set up pretty much exactly how I pictured it.

Highly recommend Carriage House Inn for the caterer if you get married at Stone Manor, or where ever else carriage house caters to.

Absolutely loved working with Carriage House. All our guests raved about the food and the staff was so great to work with. They spent so much time sitting with us at the tasting giving suggestions and ideas for our wedding. They made sure we had food and drinks the night of the wedding as soon as we were ready. AMAZING!!! We are truly grateful for all the help that Jeannie and Billy Jo provided through out the entire wedding planning process and during the wedding. The catering staff at Carriage House is very professional, helpful, responsive, and attentive. The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. We highly recommend the coconut shrimp and skirt steak chimichurri (but EVERYTHING we had was good). Jeannie and Billy Jo answered emails often within minutes or hours even during wedding season; never making us feel silly for asking questions/requests or like we were burdening them. Jeannie really helped us nail down all the details for the wedding day even if it had nothing to do with catering services. She was so warm and helpful. Her help during the planning process and Billy Jo's leadership and work ethic during setting up, serving, and breakdown made our wedding day so smooth, stunning, and delicious. Honestly, we had a dream wedding and owe so much of it to the staff at Carriage House Inn.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Carriage Inn and it could not have been better. Honestly I would have been thrilled to have my wedding reception there as well. The first floor is a charming country restaurant, and upstairs is a wonderful elegant rustic space that I loved. Since we invited all of our family and out of town guests, we needed a larger space.

There is a bar upstairs, so cocktails before were seamless while family and friends were coming in. The big plus for me is while it was upstairs; there is an elevator, so my mobility challenged father-in-law was able to take that to get upstairs and downstairs again. There are private restrooms on the second floor too, which were a great asset.

The food was wonderful! Everyone was talking about how delicious the prime rib and rockfish were. The manager was also willing to work with us on specialty meals and late shows (very important for a rehearsal dinner when people are trying to get there at all times). The manager also worked with us to customize what bar items we would provide and what our guests needed to pay for themselves.

I will recommend Carriage Inn to people looking both for a rehearsal dinner and wedding venue.

Carriage House did a fantastic job catering our wedding. We were nervous at first because we wanted an all-vegetarian meal, something that not everyone is comfortable preparing. Jeanne, the catering manager, and Chef Bob took it in stride and prepared an amazing buffet. The food was delicious and all of our guests, even the most carnivorous, left more than satisfied. The service was flawless, as well. I highly recommend them!

Jeannie was a pleasure to work with. She was quick to respond to all of the questions that I had and understood that I wanted to work within a certain budget. The day of the wedding her team was awesome and the food was great. I know that my guests didn't abide by their seating charts nor their meal selections which I'm sure made it a little confusing for her staff but they handled the situation flawlessly. It's nice to use them when you are having your reception at Stone Manor since they are the only catering company allowed to use the on site kitchen, so you ensure that your food is hot and fresh. I couldn't have asked for the evening to go any smoother.

Our wedding was catered by Carriage House. Jeannie and her staff are the most amazing catering people ever. Jeannie responded to our gazillion emails and questions without ever getting annoyed, and when we decided to completely change our menu 3 months before the wedding, Jeannie didn't even blink. She gave us a lot of helpful advice and was super responsive. Even till 3 days before the wedding, we were asking Jeannie if we could add on certain things (extra linen, putting out party favors/escort cards) - all of which were done. All of our guests loved the food, and raved especially about the crab cakes (we're from New York, so the Maryland crab cakes were a huge hit). As with our DJ, Alcohol, Cake, Air Condition, Shuttle, Hair/Makeup, and Horse & Carriage services, we didn't have to worry about wedding day logistics at all, Jeannie and all our vendors knew exactly what need to do be done. I didn't received a single phone call on my wedding day from vendors - which was a great thing!

The entire team at Carriage House, from Jeannie to her day of coordinator to the chefs to the wait staff are top notch, world class. Jeannie is very quick to respond to any questions that you have or changes that you want to make, and for our wedding was very flexible when we asked to incorporate some cultural dishes as well as their menu selections. The food is absolutely heavenly. All of our guests made sure to let us know the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. What really stood out to us was when we had to get up to take some photos right after we sat down for our meal, Carriage House saw and grabbed our plates to keep our food hot until we returned. We would definitely recommend Carriage House to anyone and everyone.

The Carriage House Inn provided the catering for our wedding in Middletown, MD in March 2013. The quality and presentation of the food was outstanding and blew our guests away. The food was amazing, the portions were large and the price was very reasonable, a great value! They even made a special request vegetarian meal for one of our guests. The hors d'oeuvres were particularly impressive as our guests were not expecting delicious steak, shrimp and crab during our cocktail hour. Jeannie was highly responsive to our questions and was very flexible to our needs. Her people did an amazing job with cocktail hour, the champagne toast, table wine service, the meal, desert and full bar service. I would highly recommend the Carriage House as the quality of the food is excellent, the service is outstanding and they offer a wide range of items and prices. Thank you Jeannie for providing that little extra that really impressed our guests on our big wedding day.

I loved our caterer! Carriage House was a dream to work with! They are the preferred caterer for Stone Manor, but after their tasting I couldn't imagine NOT picking them. The food was delicious, hot, and I got multiple compliments on how beautiful it was. The staff made sure we got food and drinks when we needed it and neither of us went hungry!
