Worth every penny.

Working with Andy was truly the highlight of our wedding and engagement process. His photos are stunning, timeless, and elegant, and we never felt uncomfortable or staged. He patiently worked with us to find the perfect outdoor location in San Francisco for our engagement session, and our family and friends are blown away with our wedding photos. We are already looking forward to family photos over the next few years so we can find another excuse to work with him. We couldn't have had a better experience and recommend Carretto Studio wholeheartedly!

Definitely Recommend Andy Carretto!

Andy did an amazing job as our wedding photographer. He is super easy to work with, finds the best angles when the sunlight changes, and is very good at making everyone feel comfortable when posing for so many photos. We always felt like we were in good hands when Andy was directing us- he's a total pro. Can't recommend Andy Carretto's services any higher!!

Wonderful photographer, wonderful experience!!!

Andy is a DREAM!! He came highly recommended and we could not be more thrilled to have worked with him for our wedding day. His photos are stunning--soft and romantic, with a natural feel, which was important to us. And equally importantly--he is an absolute pleasure to be around. He is so kind and lovely, and has a very calm demeanor that put everyone at ease as he captured our big day. We're so happy to have gotten to work with him and highly highly recommend his work!! Andy was one of our absolute favorite vendors for our wedding! He is insanely talented and his personality and demeanor are ideal for a wedding photographer. He serves as a much-needed calming force, and his photos are absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend to any bride and groom!

Andy did a fantastic job for our engagement photos and wedding photos. He went above and beyond with communicating, making our day less stressful, being personable, and taking excellent quality photos. The turn around for photos is quick too. I cannot believe how fast my husband and I got our photos back. Andy made us feel at ease and comfortable during the photo shoots. We had a pretty large bridal party and he did awesome with getting all the candid shots in along with group photos and individual photos. I came across Andy through other reviews and ratings and all were spot on. He is truly a talented photographer and I will be recommending him to all of my friends and family! Thank you, Andy, for making our day perfect and creating these photos that will forever be cherished!

Andy Carretto is the most AMAZING photographer there is around. We were so appreciative of all of the small and large gestures he did just to make my husband and I feel taken care of. From the time we first met with Andy, he did everything possible to make us feel at home. He went out of his way to meet with us before our first engagement session. We were so happy with how they turned our that we asked him to do our rehearsal dinner in addition to our wedding day. He even did my professional head shot for residency interviews! In addition to his skills and great eye for photography, Andy is the nicest and most genuine person you could ever meet. We had voiced that certain things were important to us on our special day, and he was so respectful and prioritized them without needing a second reminder. He is extremely organized and his work is beautiful. My husband and I are EXTREMELY camera shy, but somehow Andy captured the most wonderful pictures we could ever ask for. So glad we will have them for a lifetime. Pick Carretto Studio for your special day - you won't regret it! His work is bridal magazine worthy! Thanks for everything, Andy!

Gorgeous photos! I knew the moment I spoke with Andy that there was no need to search any longer for a photographer. He was easy to talk to and his style of photography was EXACTLY what we wanted. We all know planning a wedding is stressful. His easy-going personality made everything so easy. He is friendly and down to Earth, but at the same time very professional. Andy is simply the best. He does an amazing job making you feel comfortable as it is a very new experience for most. We love our photos and will treasure them for the rest of our lives (both engagement and wedding). We used one of our engagement photos for our guest book and so many of our guests commented on how gorgeous the picture was! It is of the atmost importance to get a great photographer and you cannot go wrong with choosing Andy. Thanks again for everything!

Every photo Andy took for our wedding was stunning because of his skill and talent. Clearly he's an amazing photographer but he also has a sense of calm during the chaos of a wedding day/photo session. His vibe is perfect and he gives great direction. We recently got our photos back and every picture took me back to the feeling of that moment. Andy and his assistant (that day it was Shannon) captured every moment and then some. I can't say enough great things about Carretto Studio and I know I'll be working with Andy again

Amazing!!! We loved every aspect of Carretto Studio!! The planning was super easy, we live out of town and Andy was able to work around our schedules for meeting and such. He suggested great places for our photos, both my husband and I got every style photo we wanted. When it came to our family photos they were organized and able to handle my large family and crazy nieces and nephews. All around best photography experience I've had!!

Andy was really great to work with! We were from out of state, but Andy was very quick to reply to our emails and phone calls! We were a little nervous, but he was so easy to work with, he made us feel relaxed, and we had a great time doing it! We love every single one of our photos and highly recommend Carretto Studio.

Carretto Studio did an absolutely amazing job on our photos! Andy was great at suggesting picture poses and going along with ridiculous poses my family suggested. He made us feel very comfortable. The pictures turned out beautiful! Would definitely recommend Carretto Studio!

Let me just preface this by saying that my parents are photographers, so finding the perfect photographer that they would approve of was no easy feat. The second we met with Andy and Beth, we knew we had found "the one"! Not only are they extremely professional, but their work is timeless and ethereal. Carretto Studio left us absolutely speechless with their flawless work! My parents were most impressed with the fact that we barely even knew they were there on the wedding day - a testament to how truly talented they are! We can't get over how perfect our images are, and they're something we will cherish for the rest of our lives! We can't thank Carretto Studio enough for being just as invested in telling our love story as we were!

Looking for a Photographer for your special day - AMAZING? RELIABLE? PICTURE PERFECT? Andy and Beth were that and beyond. Their photos are definitely a work of art, not just your click, shoot and hope for the best type. They give GREAT instruction for the best photos. I was terrified when looking for a photographer because I am very picky as I once was doing it myself. To say they met expectation is an understatement. Not only professional but their communication is excellent from beginning to end. Quality of final product was fantastic and impressive. We did our engagement photos as well as wedding and they were worth every penny and more! They definitely have "the eye" that so many photographers think they have... but don't. I would recommend them to everyone on the planet! Tip: you get what you pay for... don't let your wedding photos be trash for saving a couple extra bucks for some huge company etc - you will not only have wasted a large amount of money but trust me... you will not only regret it - you will painfully cry when you see what they produced. Been there and done that... Andy and Beth's photos will make you tear up too... with joy and relief for sure! RECOMMENDED!

There is no better way to start a review about Carretto Studio then WOW. Andy is truly a one in a million photographer, and this is coming from a photography obsessed individual. Although we have not had our wedding yet, just seeing our engagement pictures make us that much more excited for our big day. There are few people that have the ability to make you laugh, feel comfortable and truly want to get to know you as a couple on a more personal level. We cannot wait to spend our wedding day with Andy and have those memories to share with our family and friends for our forever to come.

I do not even know where to begin when it comes to Carretto Studios. It is everything that every bride wants for her wedding. From the moment I found Andy on the Knot at 3 a.m. after obsessing about photographers, I noticed something different. His pictures were romantic, but not cheesy. They were artistic, but not over the top. Personally, I felt like I hit the jack pot! I then noticed how many awards he had won from various blogs and websites, and realized I was not the only person to be impressed with his work. He e-mailed me back the very next day and offered to meet with my fiance and I. We met at a cute coffee shop, where he offered to buy our ice cream! (What a gem.) We spoke with him, asked many questions, and looked through his work. After all of my hard work and research, I had found my man (besides my future husband! HA!).

We had our engagement pictures this weekend, and although the weather was terrible, Andy assured me we would get great shots. And he DID. He has always gotten back to me within a day, and had our pictures to us that SAME NIGHT after our shoot! We had such a fun day at the City Museum and the Hilton 360, and Andy helped us feel so at ease. The pictures were PHENOMENAL. The way he uses lighting, different perspectives, and his creative eye, blend together to create a masterpiece. Ever since I posted a few pictures on Facebook, my friends have been raving about how they are the best engagement pictures they have ever seen.

I simply can't wait for my wedding to be here, because I can't wait to see the pictures and relive it over and over again. After attending 14 weddings last year, I have seen how some photographers can not be what they look like on paper. Therefore, I highly recommend choosing Carretto Studios. It is one thing you will not regret!

I can't say enough about these two!

Andy and Elizabeth are truly two of the best you'll get. Not only do they have an eye for exactly what you're desiring, they are just fantastic to be around. As a couple, you will get a perspective that not many others can provide. They have two hearts that genuinely care about their clients and desire to provide the exact vision the client is after.

Their photography is stunning; the kind of pictures that you see in magazines and wish you had on your wall. With them, they make this a reality. Architecturally speaking, they can create back drops that compliment the bride and groom in ways that will capture attention.

Andy and Elizabeth should be your wedding photographer for more reasons than one so talk to them and find them all!

Andy and Beth were extremely nice from the first day that we met with them. They got a feel for who we were as a couple and really listened to what we wanted in our pictures for our wedding. Great first impression! They also bared the snow and cold for our engagement pictures. They helped make great memories for us on our wedding day. Andy and Elizabeth did an awesome job with our wedding and I would highly recommend them! They came up with creative ideas for photos and helped us both remain clam during stressful times before the wedding! We had a huge wedding party and they were able to coordinate and organize everyone in all the group photos beautifully. The were super accommodating and split up during certain parts of the day so that we could get pictures of both the bridesmaids and the groomsmen getting ready. Elizabeth also got stuck with our crazy wedding party on the bus while Andy got amazing pictures of our reception venue before our guest arrived! :)

First off, let me start by saying that Andrew and Elizabeth are absolutely incredible photographers. Both exhibit an outstanding talent at taking the most beautiful pictures! My wife and I were married on June 29, 2013 and we were fortunate enough to be able to work with Andrew and Elizabeth! They treated us both like royalty! Throughout the entire day both Andy and Elizabeth were able to make us feel comfortable, and special. They were never invasive, or in our faces during the ceremony, they were instead gracious and conscious of their surroundings the entire day (a rarity amongst wedding photographers). A touch of rain forced us to rethink one of our picture locations, but Andy and Elizabeth were on the job and they quickly suggested and alternative which turned out to be a wonderful decision! Something my wife and I truly admire about Andy and Elizabeth is that they are passionate about their art, but they are both just so nice and gracious about everything! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect set of photographers, they are truly the best at what they do! Thank you so much guys!!

After some research, my husband and I decided to book Carretto Studio for our fall wedding. The package came with a free engagement session which I thought it was an awesome idea to get to know each other and prepare for the wedding photo shots.

It was also nice to have 2 photographers, Andrew and Elizabeth made us feel so comfortable and at ease. They both have an eye and appreciation for detail, we absolutely adore all of our pictures and we are thrilled that we chose Carretto Studio to capture the happiest day of our lives.
It was worth every penny and we will cherish all the photos for a lifetime!
I would highly recommend Carretto Studio to any couple that is planning to get married. You won't be disappointed!

When my husband and I started looking for photographers for our wedding we wanted to find the perfect people to capture the "real" us. Well we found them after meeting with 5 different photographers. The first time we met them them they were so professional and genuine. Every couple looks for their wedding day to be everything they imagined and the Carrettos helped make this possible. They went above and beyond to help make our day run smoothly. They used the input we had, and really captured the feeling we wanted on our day. Not even 2 weeks after the wedding they had all of our pictures ready for us and they were absolutely beautiful and more then we could have hoped for. Their kindness and relaxed demure made it easy for us to enjoy every minute. After your wedding day is over all you have left are the memories and photos. Because of Carretto Studio and their unbelievable photographs we will be able to relive that day forever.

It is so easy to get overwhelmed when shopping for wedding photographers in St. Louis...there are just so many. I found a photographer that I liked, only to find that she was unavailable on our date. That photographer recommended the Carretto's, stating, "If I had to do my wedding again, these are the people that I would want to photography my big day." When a fellow professional recommends them, you know they have to be good. Boy was she right! I am so thankful for her recommendation because the Carretto's work and professionalism were so much more than we could have hoped for.

Andy and Elizabeth are two of the greatest people. They are kind, personable, and so very talented. They are both lead photographers resulting in two times the fantastic photos. Our largest problem with the Carretto's was that they produced so many fantastic images that we can't decide which to have printed! These two know St. Louis and were full of ideas for wonderful locations to shoot. They easily understood and made our visions come to life.

What I love most about their photography is that it truly told the story of our day. It is so detailed that you really don't even need a videographer. You can trust them to capture every moment and detail. We have gotten nothing but compliments and, "Oooohs and ahhhhhs," on our images. Multiple people have even said the pictures look like they belong in a bridal magazine!

Bottom line: If you are getting married in St. Louis and you do not use the Carretto's, you are making a huge mistake!!!

We interviewed 3 photographers. The Carrettos came well prepared, own time, very professional. The end results are amazing and everyone is asking who our photographer was. The picture at the Muny Box Office should be on a cover of a wedding magazine.
You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I are so happy with our wedding photos - they are phenomenal! The Carrettos were very flexible with our schedule which was a huge help during the planning period. They were able to recommend great locations for wedding day photos and planned backup locations in case of inclement weather. The Carrettos did an amazing job with our wedding at the Peabody! We were blown away by how hard they worked throughout the day and how quickly we received our pictures. Throughout the entire process, they were really easy to work with and we are thrilled with how the engagement and wedding pictures turned out.

When my husband and I first looked around for a photographer, we knew that we couldn't just settle for any photographer because we wanted to have amazing, detailed, gorgeous, and classic photographs to show our friends, family, and - some day - our kids. We wanted to be proud of the images captured, but most importantly, we wanted to know that - in the future - when we look back at our images, we would be reminded of our best day ever and also be happy we went with the photographer we chose. Carretto Studio exceeded all of our expectations the very first day we met with them, and I knew for a fact that I did not want to work with any other photographer. Andy and Elizabeth are friendly, personable, professional, and so much fun to work with that, at times, you forget that they're there to capture your wedding day. They make everyone - from the family to the wedding party - feel comfortable and at ease. We had Carretto shoot our April wedding. Not only were they polite and professional, but they took initiative when it turned out to be raining and we only had outdoor photo spots chosen! Our pictures turned out beautifully--they captured some stunning moments. Carretto is shooting my sister's wedding this fall and my entire family can't wait to see them again!

When my husband and I first began planning our wedding, selecting a photographer was one of our first priorities yet we were clueless where to begin the process. I feel so lucky that a friend of my mother recommended Carretto Studio. We then met with Elizabeth and Andy at an adorable coffee shop, which is when we saw evidence of their strong background in photography, professional and friendly demeanors, and gorgeous photos they shared with us from past weddings. We left with confidence, knowing we could trust these photographers to capture the special moments and details of our wedding.

It has been almost a month since our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with our photos! They are stunning! Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and to relive that day through these photos is priceless. Thank you, Elizabeth and Andy, for sharing your talent and love of photography with us!

It's hard to put into words how fantastic Andy and Beth are, as people and as photographers. Not only did we really enjoy getting to know them, but they also took amazing, fantastic, beautiful pictures on our wedding day. They were the one piece of the wedding I was 100% confident in, I never had a doubt that the pictures would be anything less than fabulous. That being said, they far exceeded our expectations. They made us feel at ease, and were never intrusive or in the way. Even guests of the wedding made comments about how professional and great they were. We have already given their business cards to several other friends who are planning weddings and will continue to recommend them to people in the future. We can't thank them enough!!

Carreto Studio was AMAZING!! I am soooo happy with our pictures I don't think words can truly explain it! I need an audio clip so that I can yell and scream my review!! If photos are on the top of your priority list for your wedding (which they should be!) then Andy and Elizabeth Carretto are definitely the way to go! The pictures look like they came right out of a magazine! Everyone was impressed! My whole bridal party was talking about how awesome they were the next morning! Amazing people and amazing pictures!

The Carretto's were absolutely amazing to work with!!! They were extremely professional from the start and made the entire process so easy and perfect. Elizabeth was always very timely with emails and had so much patience for my many questions and requests. They made sure to capture our special day in the exact way that we asked, and the pictures ended up being above and beyond what I could ever ask for. Our albums came out perfect and they made sure that we got everything that we wanted. She pays so much attention to detail to make sure there are no mistakes. The album is the part of your wedding that you will have forever and we have gotten so many compliments on how amazing they look! I have recommended them to friends and family and would use them again if I could do everything over!!! Definitely a 5 star experience!!!

Carretto Studio (Elizabeth and Andy) was absolutely amazing. They captured every amazing moment from my wedding that I could have even imagined or hoped for. A couple of weeks after my wedding I was bumming out because the day flew by, then I got my pictures from Carretto and brought a HUGE smile to my face. The photos were outstanding and just brought back every single moment of that day! They were so flexible and friendly and easy to work with. Everyone always says to go with a photographer(s) that you have a good bond with because you spend the whole day with them and that is so true...and my husband and I were SO happy we went with Carretto. From the very beginning they truly cared and wanted to know about us and what we wanted! Anyone would be lucky to have their photos taken by this awesome couple.

What an amazing team of photographers! When our first photographers left us in a bind by backing out just 2 months before the wedding we were panicked. Luckily Andy and Beth were recommended to us and we couldn't have been happier. From our first meeting we totally clicked with them and appreciated that, also being fairly newly weds, they knew exactly what we were about to go through. They helped work out a great package for us since we didn't have time for a lot of the extras like engagement photos. We had a beautiful and joyous day and they captured it perfectly. They were even able to make my silly self look fierce. ;) I would, and do, highly recommend Carretto Studios and know we have found the only photographers we will ever need or want to work with!

Hands down, the most beautiful pictures I've seen & the most gracious photographers to work with! I was married four months ago and the pictures Elizabeth and Andrew took of our wedding were dazzling. They caught those most special and care-free moments--telling our wedding story perfectly. I have received so many complements on these pictures and cannot stress how glad we are that we chose Carretto Studios.

Elizabeth and Andy are so likeable and charismatic. Not only were they a hoot to work with on our wedding day, both helped to make sure we had a stress-free day.

Our experience with Carretto Studio was excellent! Elizabeth and Andy were professional and personable from start to finish. They were very easy to work with, in tune with our style, and listened to our ideas. Their creativity and innovative photography produced some truly gorgeous shots that we could not have imagined. Carretto Studio did an amazing job! After searching for what seemed like forever I thought they would be the perfect photographer for me. I met with Elizabeth and Andy and left so happy. Not only are they amazing at what they do but they are just as sweet and kind. I knew I wanted a more artsy style of picture and also wanted mostly black and white.
