Beautiful Wedding Day Hair

Carolina did my hair for my wedding day and I would 100% recommend her services. She was such a good communicator from when I first put in an inquiry to when she showed up at my apartment the morning of my wedding. When we did a trial run, we tried out two different styles and she was so considerate of what I was envisioning and making it happen. The morning of the wedding Carolina put my mom's short hair into a beautiful French twist, did two of my bridesmaids' hair, and added flowers to everyone's hair, as well. And of course, my hair! She did a gorgeous updo on me. It looked just like the Pinterest pictures I'd been looking and it lasted through pictures outside on a hot afternoon, all the way through dancing at the reception!

Cant wait to book Carolina for my next event!

Carolina did "SFX" makeup for me and my mother to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) and I couldn't have been happier! She was communicative, helpful, and so very friendly! She was laughing and joking with my family, showed up when she said she would, and my makeup lasted ALL DAY (literally from about 9am until about 1am the next morning. I even took a nap and it was perfect!) Compliments all day and night from strangers out and about and we were the hit of the party that evening. Already making plans for next year, and bringing more family with me! Love LOVE LOVE Carolina!

Carolina is a lifesaver!

I have naturally thin hair due to stress and recent hormone changes. As a result, I have been very self-conscious about my hair for years and considered extensions to give me added fullness and length. The moment I contacted her, she was very professional, and kind, and took the extra time to help me decide which extensions were the best fit for my hair type. After the extension installation, I was completely blown away by her talent. She truly is an artist! Carolina has given me the confidence that I needed, and not only would I recommend her, but I will never go anywhere else. If I ever get remarried, she will definitely be my hair stylist and makeup artist!

She is amazing!

Carolina was able to squeeze me in last minute to do hair and makeup for my engagement party. She is very professional and extremely organized. She came to my house right on time and was able to complete everything in a timely manner. Also it looked AMAZING!! I got so many compliments at my party and was told I looked like a model. During the time I was getting my makeup done I was also very anxious and a bit overwhelmed with all the planning for the party and she was so great about calming me. I will definitely be hiring her for our wedding next year. Thank you Carolina!!

Best decision ever

BEST decision I made about my wedding was using Carolina's Hair and Makeup/designs. She did my makeup and hair in such a way that I truly felt like a beauty queen/princess. She even made a hair piece for me exactly how I wanted it to look.
I plan on continuing to use her to keep my hair looking as healthy as she made it.
You honestly will not regret using her, she is worth so much more than she charges.

She is very friendly and is always easy to contact.
She did my hair and makeup for my bridal photos and it came out perfectly! Carolina was very flexible when we had to cancel our wedding due to COVID-19 virus and moved all our funds into credit for future services.

I used Carolina for my hair and make-up trial (Bridal Portrait day) as well as for the big day! After seeing my bridals I knew that I wanted to change a couple of things up for the big day. Carolina was such a good help in both hair and make-up. Each appointment, she gave me the exact services that I asked for and I was so pleased both times! We tried something completely new ON MY WEDDING DAY and she nailed it! She did so well and was sure that I was completely happy with how I looked and felt. She not only provided my hair and make-up services, but she was able to fix my birdcage veil which was sold to me in poor condition! She is amazing and I would recommend her for hair and make-up any day!

I am very happy with Carolina's service, she was always on time, very friendly and helpful when it was time to get ready for my wedding.
She not only did my hair, make-up and hair piece but she also helped me putting my dress on since my maid of honor and bridesmaid were running late and I had no other help that day.

I was searching online for a hairstylist/makeup artist 6 weeks out from my wedding and couldn't get any vendors to call or email me back. When I emailed Carolina I heard back from her within minutes and right away we set up a trial run for that week. I don't normally spend a lot of time on my hair and makeup in everyday life, so I didn't want a look that was too over-the-top but also would still make me stand out and feel great for my big day. Carolina was very friendly and helpful and gave me some great ideas on picking the perfect look that would last all day but also still fit my personal style. She even made me custom hairpiece and veil to fit the style I picked out.

On my wedding day there was a big thunderstorm that hit shortly after my (luckily indoor) wedding started, which meant one thing: high humidity. Even though I was sweating and dancing through it all, my makeup - which had been done hours earlier - did not budge and lasted the whole night. I had so many compliments on my hair and hairpiece as well!

I would highly recommend Carolina's services to any bride-to-be!

Carolina did my make-up and hair for my pictures for my new website. First of all it was so great that she did both, so I didn't have to hire two people. It saved me time and money! A lot!!! She really knows what she's doing! I told her what I needed, show her some pictures, and she did exactly what I wanted. She gave me ideas in things I wasn't sure about. She did several hair and make-up styles, as I needed different characters. I keep getting complements from everyone about my hair and make-up on the pictures!
She was very pleasant and easy to work with and it was very important to her that I look the best I can and that I'm happy with the results! Therefore I recommend her to anyone who needs quality hair and make-up! You'll be happy!! And you can save money at the same time!

Carolina is very professional. When she assured me that she would arrive at my hotel (early) on the morning of my wedding, I knew she would be there. Wow, where to start with Carolina?! I can truly say she was quickly a favorite vendor, due to her dedication, talent, and friendliness! She always came prepared and on time and traveled whenever necessary (even in the dark!). She would wake up at whatever time you need to be ready to make sure everything is done on time. She also won't stop until you are happy with everything and your hair and make-up. She did a trial run, hair/make-up for my bridals and wedding, along with some of my family members, and I received many compliments on what a wonderful job she did. She also cut, colored, and highlighted my hair and extensions to match, and I plan on going back to get my hair done! She also is just a genuinely fun and sweet person to be around, will make you laugh and de-stress on your day, and she's easy to talk to. My whole family loved her!

Thanks to Carolina for everything! I would highly recommend her for any hair and/or makeup needs!

Carolina did my hair and make-up for my wedding and I am COMPLETELY satisfied with her services!!!!! Carolina is AMAZING to work with! I had never hired a professional hair and make-up artist before. I had a trial run with another person who charges about the same and it was a disaster. I almost decided to just do my own hair and make-up but decided to try one more trial run with Carolina and I am so glad I did! I have very oily skin and mild acne scarring and Carolina made me look FLAWLESS. She is truly your one-stop-shop for hair and make-up and does both equally well. Whatever vision you have, Carolina can achieve. On my wedding day, Carolina came to my apartment and I did not have to worry about anything. I literally rolled out of bed and let her work her magic. I was freaking out because I had a few pimples on my back and she covered those up- no problem! She calmed my nerves and got my day off to a wonderful start and set a great tone for the rest of the day. I was hesitant to wear false eyelashes but I am glad I trusted her. They turned out beautifully and did not look fake at all. If anyone has anything negative to say about Carolina’s work then you are crazy and impossible to please. CAROLINA: YOU ARE AWESOME!!!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!!

Carolina was absoultley AMAZING!!! Our wedding theme was peacock feathers w/ royal blue and sage green for our colors. Carolina made a custom hairpiece for my Maid of Honor to match the theme it was beautiful! She also customized my birdcage veil which I love. Carolina did my hair and makeup which she made me look "ravishing" is what I heard all evening! She made me some beautiful clip in hair extensions that match my red hair perfectly. I know this was a challenge!!! Everything from begining to end was perfection from Carolina and if I have any other events I will definately use Carolina as well as refer her to everyone. She is always prepared and is one organized individual! She truly customizes everything to match your personality and help be unique.

Carolina is a true professional. She made beautiful hair and makeup for all 3 of us for our photoshoot. She picked a hair cut/design from one of the newest fashion magazine for me and in a few hours she made me look like the modell on the photo. Amazing.

Carolina did my hair and make up along with my mothers and 3 bridesmaids. She did a wonderful, beautiful job and my hair and make up lasted all night long!! And let me tell you, this woman is prepaired! Even when my husband came home while we were doing the trial run he said "Holy smokes I thought I had a lot of tools!" lol. She is honest and will tell you what will look good / work on you and what won't. I would recommend her to anyone for any occasion. Thanks again for the wonderful job Carolina!!

Carolina is very professional, prompt (which is very important, especially for the wedding day), and is a friendly and energetic person. She is very good at hair and makeup. On my wedding day she had to be at my house at 3:45 AM, which meant she had to be up and out of her house way before that. She arrived on time and got to work right away. She did the hair and makeup for my three bridesmaids and me. She finished before our cut off time, which was nice because that gave me a bit of time to relax before the wedding. I would recommend Carolina to friends and family.

Carolina was absolutely amazing. She helped me decide on the perfect hair style for my wedding day. She made me look like a princess for my bridal portraits and big day. I have never felt so confident and beautiful.
Since she is an on site artist she did the bridesmaids & my hair & makeup at the church in the bridal room which was so nice since we did not have to travel & it reduced a lot of stress. She is serious business, she knows what she is doing and what looks good for the whole wedding party. She is a hard worker and doesn't waste any time.
If you want to look beautiful on your wedding day PICK CAROLINA! You won't regret it. She even helped me stay calm when I was about to have a breakdown.

She also made me a custom hairpiece to match my dress which was a really nice touch. Consult with her before you buy a veil because she knows what is best.

Carolina came to my home to do my trial run, which made it really convenient for me. Also, she stayed with me for hours and looked at all the pictures I had to show her, and we were able to collaborate and come up with hair and makeup ideas that I was comfortable with while taking her suggestions into consideration. Also, she made a peacock feather and crystal hair clip for me and one for my maid of honor that were the exact vision that I had in my head! Also, her prices are reasonable.

Carolina was very responsive when I contacted her. She responds to email and calls. I have had to change times on her a few times and she was very flexible. The best part is that she is available to meet you at your house or anywhere that is convenient for you.

Carolina did an amazing job on my hair and make-up. During the make-up and hair trial, she came to my house and discussed what hairstyles work for my hair and what make-up styles I like. She was attentive to what I wanted, and the end result was beautiful. She was punctual on the trial day and the wedding day. She also made me the most beautiful hairpiece that matched the flowers for my wedding. My hair held up all day long and my make-up looked flawless. I couldn�t be happier.

Carolina did my hair and make-up for my wedding day. She traveled to my house 2 months prior for a trial run and came to my wedding location the day of the wedding. She was very prompt and did a terrific job. She had a lot of pictures to give me ideas for my hair and was able to create the perfect hair style for my wedding day. Carolina did a beautiful job with my hair and make-up for the wedding! Her price includes traveling to you so you don't have to worry about the wind messing up your hair. She spent 4 hours making sure me and my one bridemaid looked beautiful for the wedding. She also helped me find a fantastic photographer when mine cancelled a week before the wedding. Thank you Carolina for all that you did on my special day. You showed up exactly when you said you would and within no time we were under way. You listened to each my bridesmaid, sister and my Mom and gave everyone something a little different but all still coordinating. Your a hard worker and take into consideration what your client wants but also still advising as to what may look best. You are professional and your work is wonderful. Carolina made me look gorgeous for my photos because the way she did my makeup was so natural and flawless. I loved seeing my husband's face when he looked at me, and exclaimed that I looked like a supermodel. My hair was also soft and romantic-looking, with an orchid in it for just the right touch of elegance. Carolina was great to work with because of her perfection to detail and natural artistry. She was friendly and helpful to be around, & I would recommend her to anyone needing such services on their special day.

I was forthunate enough to be in a wedding a few years back that Carolina did makeup, hair, and hair accessories for. She made us look so amazing that when it came time for my own "Big Day" I knew that she was the perfect person to make me look and feel amazing on my wedding day. Carolina did my hair and make-up along with my cousins, my mom's make-up, and my friend's hair, she did a fantastic job. She was very prompt, in fact, early to all our meetings and very thorough. My hair and make-up held all night, which is amazing for me since my hair is so fine and my make-up never stays on. She made everyone look lovely and I would highly recommend her. She even got my dress tightened when my bridesmaids struggled a little. Even with the ice storm hitting right before our wedding day she was still early. The only thing which I am sure is not what she normally does, was she brought her son, who I played with and got along with. But like most kids he got restless and in most of my preparation video you can see and hear her son, sometimes upset. But once my niece and nephews got there, he was entertained. Overall, it did not bother me, since due to the storm I don't think she had a choice but to bring him. Very sweet and cute kid though, just a little distracting. Overall very happy with the services and she did a phenomenal job! I would hire here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again.

Carolina did an amazing job with my (bride) make-up. Also, my hair is very problematic, in the sense that I do not have a whole lot of volume, it is very thin and somewhat wavy. She made my hair look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, even my hubby to be was stunned. I received compliments for make-up and hair all night long. My bridesmaid looked beautiful too. Carolina did an excellent job for my wedding. We did have to start early, but she kept on tract and finished all my bridesmaids and myself on time! Of all of the vendors I worked with for my wedding, Carolina was definitely my favorite! She has a great personality that was fun to be with. I did a lot of research before I chose Carolina, and her prices were the most reasonable.

I had a morning wedding, and she agreed to come to my house at 4:30 am! She was very flexible & went out of her way to accommodate my schedule.

She was professional & really listened to what I wanted. I was very happy with the outcome. I felt confident in the way I looked on my wedding day & I love the way the pictures turned out!

I would highly highly recommend Carolina.

Carolina did my hair and makeup for my bridal portraits and for me and all of my bridesmaids on my wedding day! She worked all day long on my wedding day and did an awesome job. I was so happy with my hair and makeup. I loved it and really felt so pretty in it. She was great to work with. I was nervous that we wouldn't be done on time on the wedding day, but Carolina arrived early and finished a little early too!

Carolina did a great job for my hair and make-up for my November wedding. My bridesmaids were quite intimidated with Carolina's brusqueness as they had their hair and make-up done prior to the ceremony, but Carolina's ability at hair and make-up is great! The girls looked stunning!! Have a strong idea of just what you want and you will get just that.

I thought it would be more relaxing to find someone to come to the house to get us ready for the wedding, and from her reviews I booked a trial with Carolina. We did a trial where Carolina told me her ideas and feedback to what I wanted. At first I was afraid to tell her exactly what I wanted, and felt pushed in a certain direction, and pressured to book. I ended up booked after my trail and upset at myself because I didn't feel like we connected. I emailed her to express my concerns and she responded promptly and I felt like we were slightly more on the same page.

She did my hair for my bridal portraits and wedding, and hair for 4 of my bridesmaids. My portrait day was pouring rain. When I called her the day before (which was a holiday) she was very encouraging as we discussed the possibility of needing to reschedule. Very flexible. I ended up moving my portraits inside. My hair was half down and holds curl pretty well. However it was fallen and frizzy in the 30 minutes it took me to get from my house to my portraits. I realize that the rain can't be totally combated, but I think some higher quality products could have helped.

On my wedding day, my maid of honor requested a curly side swept do with some draped to hide her forehead and ears (which she is self conscious of). She was told her forehead and ears were fine and ended up with her hair curled and 2 pins behind each ear. Totally not what she wanted. When I was finally able to convince Carolina that my maid of honor wasn't happy, she did offer to fix her, but reminded me we might not have time. We ended up fixing her on our own.

I was pretty happy with my hair for the wedding, Carolina did make sure I was totally happy before we left the house. But then I got my pictures back. I saw how parts of my half updo were coming unpinned and undone. I realize it was a 12 hour day but I have been in several weddings and my hair has always held. I have pretty thick hair, but since the wedding day was the 3rd time to work with it, I would think she would be familiar with it. It wasn't terrible but I was disappointed. My maids hair all seemed to hold pretty well.

I would think she charges about what you'd expect for home service, maybe slightly more. She was always available anytime I called her, had pretty open times for trials, was always prompt, and quickly answered emails.

Difficult to work with

Carolina offers very decent prices. When I contacted her about possibly hiring her for hair/ makeup, she was trying to rush me into a trial appointment that would take 4 hours or more because she said that appointments for my wedding date next year fill up quickly. When I politely informed her that we decided to go with a different stylist for the wedding, Carolina became rude, demanding to know why we were choosing someone else. She told me that she was the best out there and that all other stylists wouldn't show up or care about my wedding.

First, my hair and make-up turned out beautifully. My make-up didn't run after an outside ceremony in 100+ degree temperatures. And my hair didn't fall after a night of dancing. However, I was not happy with the cash only policy or the overcharging for hair accessories. Also, I had to schedule my trial run on a day that was very inconvenient for me but was the only time she could work me into her schedule, and she wouldn't reserve my wedding date without a trail run (which took 5 hours). She brought her digital camera to the trial run and took lots of pictures. She promised to email them to me but never did, not even when I called her a month later to ask for them. Carolina deals in cash only. Not even the deposit can be a check. And she doesn't carry change, so make sure you have the exact amount. Hairpeices that she sold me for $8 each, I found for $1 at other places (after the fact). And after paying that much for them, when I finally took my hair down after the wedding, there was half the number I thought I was getting.

Carolina is a rude and unprofessional. She is good at what she does, if you can handle her abrasive personality.
She said my arm hair was a disaster and tried to convince me to hire her to do hair removal. She told me I needed to cover my two tattoos for the wedding. She charged extra for eyebrows and fake eye lashes, which she failed to mention until she is charging for them at the end.
She started on time and put my hair in large rollers (About double the size she did for the trial). My hair, on the wedding day, looked nothing like the trial. The curls were loose and falling from the moment she took them out of the rollers. She did not attempt to re-curl them or tighten the curls in any way. Luckily, the curls that were there lasted through the ceremony.
My pregnant sister-in-law opted out of getting her makeup done because she is allergic to makeup, and being pregnant she wouldn’t be able to take any medicine to help cope. We should have had more time but that was not the case. We would have been late to the wedding if she had done everyone’s hair and makeup.
As I was running out the door, she stopped me to say I owe her money for tweezing one of the girl’s eyebrows.
Also, I did not receive the lip touch up that I already paid for. She says she left it on the counter but that is not true.
I emailed Carolina to discuss some of the issues I had before mailing her tip and thank you card. She responded saying I was wrong about my critiques and "IT IS NICE TO GIVE TYP 25% OF THE PRICE YOU PAYED ... OR LEAST SOME MONEY !! HOW COME YOU DON'T KNOW THAT ?? HOW LONG DO YOU LIVE IN USA???”
I explained why I did not tip her the day of, that I was trying to give constructive criticism and there was no need to attack me.
She then responded with, "YOU ARE SUCH USA B**** !!”

I'm sure she will respond to this review saying I'm wrong, just as she did on the other negative reviews on this site. I felt it was necessary to share a small portion of my story.
