Captured Journeys made my wedding day absolutely perfect! They captured all the moments that I will cherish forever! I couldn't imagine using any other photographers but this dynamic duo! At first, I was very shy and the camera intimidated me, but this couple brought me out of my shell and made me feel so comfortable! The pictures I have seen so far have been beyond words! Absolutely stunning! The was not one thing that I could say was a negative about Captured Journeys. Hands down the best photographers! If you want perfection for your photos, they are the way to go!

Kelly and Kalina took our engagement photos and our wedding photos, they all came out amazing. They are a great team and we were so happy we met them. We met with other photographers, many of which charged more and offered less. We even met with some companies where we only met sales people, not the actual photographers! We knew right off the bat those companies were not for us. We wanted to feel like our event was important, not just one of many they would be handling that weekend. We wanted a team that would get to know us, would take the time to walk us through this process, and would get photos that capture Erik and I as a couple (not just the same shots and poses everyone gets.) We received all of this and more with Captured Journeys and it would be hard for you to find anyone else as reasonably priced while providing the same level of skill, professionalism, and hard work. You deal with Kelly and Kalina only, no sales, no run around. They are prompt to respond to calls and emails and will make time to personally meet with you to show you their work and to get to know you. It was obvious to us that their work was more personalized than the others we met with, each album they show has it's own style. They blend into the wedding, make everyone there feel comfortable, and really do get the best shots (they get all of the important pictures you want to see from a wedding and creative shots you will be blown away by.) We worked so hard on this wedding and I am so happy we hired the right photographer that captured it so well and caught even the smallest details.

Captured Journey's Photography was one of the best investments my husband and I made for our wedding day. You really 'get what you pay for' with this vendor and there results are truly amazing. Kelly and Kalina are very down to earth and accommodating to your needs as a customer. They have your best interest at heart and genuinely work to find what makes you happy; so they can produce the best results. I enjoyed both my engagement and wedding sessions with them, and the moments they captured will make for very difficult decisions when it comes time to select our favorites for an album. As a bride, they photographed moments that help me relive my wedding day over and over, and with just one picture, I feel every emotion as if it were happening all over again. I am overwhelmed by the dedication that these two have towards their clients and craft. Kelly and Kalina are more than just photographers, they are friends who made sure my wedding day would be unforgettable and for that, I am eternally grateful. I loved working with Kelly and Katlina Schneider! I have been working with them for years and they truly have given me the best modeling experience. They make me feel comfortable with any shoot I have done with them, always charming and welcoming. They are like family! Their photos always comes out amazing due to time and effort they put it in of capturing the right look at the right moment. I can not help but always want to come back and continue to work with them!

Kelly and Katilina are amazing photographers! They both take so much pride in their work and it shows. The have terrific personalities that make working with them a blast! Kelly and Kalina were wonderful to work with. The pictures were terrific! We loved them and still look at them frquently. Kelly and Kalina are wonderful! Their professionalism, patience and attention to detail is what every couple dreams of on their wedding day. They did a great job capturing our wedding day, They took so many beautiful pictures that it was hard for us to decide what to include in our album. All our family and friends loved them and were impressed by their ability to capture so many special moments throughout the night. They made everyone feel so at ease. We just picked up our wedding album and it is breathtaking !! Kelly and Kalina did an smacking job and all our guests loved them.
We liked having 2 photographers at the wedding. Also the quality of their product is the best you could wish for.

We could not have been happier with Captured Journeys! Kelly and Kalina are an amazing mix of professionalism and personality. They somehow managed to capture every important moment without detracting from our day. While many photographers say they can do a variety of styles, Kelly and Kalina really can! Family portraits, fun candids, and dramatic art shots all were executed flawlessly and provided beauty and variety. They gave us everything we asked for and the things we didn't even know we needed but did! Not only do they provide amazing images but they make the process fun and put everyone at ease from our nervous groom to our 2 year old flower girl. I highly recommend captured journeys for your big day- you won't be disappointed!!

For me and my husband, finding a photographer who had the skill, the passion and the personality to become a part of our wedding was very important. Of all the vendors, our choice for photographer was really our most important and personal.

So many photographers out there and such a wide range of prices... We looked for a long time before we found Kelly and Kalina's work on a friends Facebook page. Wow.... Kevin and I were blown away. His work and uncanny ability to see the details and capture them in a way that brings smiles and happy tears is a gift from above - however, we knew we still needed to meet them to make sure.

Although we had 3 other photographers to interview, after meeting with Kelly and Kalina, we already knew we found out photographers. We met at their home and emediately made us feel as part of their family. Thier warmth and sincere intereste in OUR wedding really made us feel special.

The engagement session rocked. He took us to Old Town Alexandria and although this was for a photo shoot, it more felt like just a fun day with freinds! Even Kevin was relaxed and enjoyed being in front of a camera! I was shocked!

But the most important of all was how they so natually captured our wedding. Not only did everyone comment to me on how well they worked but that they even liked them! Then within 48 hours of our wedding, they posted the first look images for us to see.... and cry over. They were something out of a magazine. The quality was beyond most images you find in wedding magazaines but what hit home to me was how they showed me again how special my day was... and I now have that to cherish for the rest of my life.... wow.

They were defintiely the best investment I have ever made and I know i have found my photographers for life!

We found Captured Journeys on one of the wedding websites and fall in love with their style from the first time we visited the website.
We me with them few weeks later and that was it, we new we found our photographers.
They are husband and wife team who work together really well and are so much fun.
The images were amazing, quick turnaround and our friends and family loved them.

Hiring Captured Journeys Photography for my wedding was one of the best choices I have ever made in my life!! I can not begin to explain how well Kelly and Kalina captured each and every moment with such intricate detail and thoughtfulness. Not only was it an emotional experience--Kelly made it so much fun that we were beeming throughout the process (and not just from getting married)! They were very punctual and timely in getting some initial images to us to be able to share with family and friends! The images were amazing and we received numerous praises and compliments about them. I am such a picture person so for my wedding pictures, I wanted the best. I came across Captured Journeys website one day on one of the wedding websites I was on & clicked on it. Instantly I loved their work. I emailed them to see if my date was available (which at the time was only 3 months away). They were shooting a wedding in FL at the time but still got right back to me. I was lucky enough to have them say yes. I told them what I was looking for in a package & they didn't hesitate to say they could provide it for a great price. We met Kelly & Kalina in Annapolis to discuss our wedding & to get to know each other. My fiance & I instantly loved them & got along very well. They even took some pictured that day & made a website with our engagement pictures within hours of meeting them. On our wedding day, they showed up early & took pictured the entire morning of me & my girls getting ready, the detail of my dress, the reception room, etc. Then they went & took pictures of all the guys getting ready. They stayed through the entire reception so all in all it was a 14+ hour day for them which I don't know of many photographers would've done that & enjoyed it as much as they did. One we saw our pictures, I was blown away & so was everyone that saw them. Kelly & Kalina put so much time & effort & passion into our pictures & it showed. They took over 1,000 pictures. I will not recommend anyone but them to anyone & I plan on using them for anything we do in the future. They are genuinely 2 of the nicest people we've had the pleasure of working with & truly made our day that much better! Our wedding album passed my expectations & is the best album I've seen.

My only *complaint* about Kelly and Kalina is that they took SO many amazing pictures at our wedding that now we're having a hard time deciding what should be included in the album. Every time I look at the pictures I relive the day, and every time more pictures end up in my favorites, with additional aaawwws and aaahhs. So instead of having about 80 favorites that should go into our wedding album, we currently have over 300. But let's start from the beginning.

My husband and I spend a lot of time looking for a photographer. It was a very important part of our wedding experience. We wanted not only great pictures, but also somebody we would get along with. We met a few great photographers in the area, but as soon as we spent the first 10 minutes with Kelly and Kalina, we knew we found our perfect photographers. Not only do they do phenomenal work, but they are incredible people as well. They are perfectly professional, yet fun and upbeat. And they delivered when it counted the most.
We did an engagement shoot where Kelly and Kalina came with plenty of ideas on their own, but also incorporated every request we had. They understood the vision of our wedding and it shows in the pictures they took. As a result, we have funny pictures, serious pictures, goofy pictures. We have emotional pictures, artistic pictures, formal pictures, and candid pictures. We have incredible portraits not only of us and the family, but also of our guests. Their eye for beauty and detail is simply amazing. Kelly and Kalina remembered to take many shots that I wouldn't even think of, but that I am very happy to have. We saw them when we needed to see them, and didn't see them when we didn't need to.
I am really grateful we had Kelly and Kalina document our wedding. They did what was most important to us: they created a memory such that every time I look at a particular image I remember the feeling I had at that point in time. They were also a delight to have at our wedding, and many of our guests raved about how great they are. Between the amazing work they did with our wedding and how great people they are, Kelly and Kalina are truly priceless to us.

Captured Journey Photography did a fabulous job with my daughter's senior portraits. They went out of their way to ensure the best quality photographs, taking us to three different locations to get the best shots depicting my daughter’s personality. The end result was picture perfect photographs that my family will be delighted to view for years to come. I give Kelly and Kalina a perfect 10, their attention to the details and eye for photography is the one of best in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Kelly & Kalina recently shot our whole wedding weekend. As they worked, our friends, family and guests raved about what a wonderful job they were doing and asked where we found them. Even before they saw the photos, our good friends wanted to hire them for their wedding. They are so professional and were every where at every angle, even on the ground taking photos of us. They made us feel so comfortable. Not asking us to pose but just to be natural. Our photos are breathtaking. We don't even know at which point some of the photos were taken but you can just see and feel the emotion from each individual picture. We highly suggest booking Captured Journey for any milestone in your life. Kelly and Kalina have a natural gift f making you feel so comfortable with them and the ability to capture moments that some photographers may generally miss because they're too busy trying to get you to pose. It's the moments when no one is looking that the most special things happen and Kelly and Kalina captured those moments for us! Thank you so much for being a part of our special day!

My husband and I were given Kelly and Kalina’s name by our best man who had worked with Kelly and Kalina for their engagement photos. We were able to see a sneak peek of their engagement photos and fell in the love with Kelly and Kalina’s photography style. We contacted Kelly and Kalina soon after and received an immediate response. After a few e-mail exchanges, we knew we found the right photographer for our wedding. Kelly and Kalina made the entire process as easy as possible for us. We thought we would never have engagement photos taken due to cost and time (since we don’t live local to the DC area); however, Kelly and Kalina flexed to our schedule and included engagement photos in our total cost. We were comfortable with them moments after meeting them. We received electronic proofs of the most gorgeous engagement photos one day after the engagement session. These photos became the foundation of our wedding website and were used at our wedding. They sent us all of the engagement photos on a CD a week later. Prior to our wedding, Kelly and Kalina took it upon themselves to drive the two hours to our wedding location (St. Michaels, MD) in order to scope out the grounds of the bed and breakfast where our wedding took place. On our wedding day, Kelly and Kalina arrived earlier than planned to ensure they captured both me and my groom getting ready. Again, they made everything so easy and provided a sense of calmness in what is, as every bride knows, usually a high stress atmosphere. They stayed the entire wedding, nearly 10 hours, and even captured us leaving our wedding reception together as husband and wife which was used as our Christmas card this past year. Not only did they capture every single moment of the most important day of my life (about 500+ photos worth), but also captured the romantic and joyful essence of the day. I remember scrolling through the proofs and each photo was more beautiful than the next. Deciding on album photos would be difficult due the flawlessness of each photo; however, Kelly and Kalina also made this process extremely efficient and effortless. All we had to do was provide them with the photos we liked which ended up being nearly all the proofs they provided. Before we knew it, the most gorgeous thick leather bound wedding album with our names and wedding date arrived on our doorstep. I’ve looked through the album countless times and notice something new each time. The attention to detail, time and effort they took for perfect placement of each photo is incredible. They were not only able to capture the most elegant photos from our wedding day but they were able to create an extraordinary album filled with breathtaking photos that will serve as the happiest memories of our lives. In addition to the album, we also received prints of our favorite photos and a few select larger prints. Lastly, everything was included in one set price that we found to be very affordable and my husband’s service to this country was recognized with a military discount. We absolutely loved working with them and still maintain a relationship with them today. We have and will continue to recommend their exceptional wedding photography to friends and family.

We have now had Captured Journeys at two of the milestones of our family. They are so accommodating of specific requests. They really listen to what we are hoping for in a finished photo journal. They somehow are able to capture the personality of our family and celebration. They don't seem to miss a moment. What they deliver is a priceless memory.

Both Kelly and Kalina were very good to work with. They both have a vision to artistically capture those precious moments. The post-processing on each image is very professional and really adds texture and depth to each image that compliments each image's emotion. They really understand how light affects the shot and they even manipulate the lighting to work to their advantage.

Their service does not just end when the photo shoot is over. They also provide a very nice website that you can customize so that you can share your photos. Most importantly, they work with you to help identify the best images. I definitely recommend them to anybody looking for great photography at a a great price!

My family did an on location photo shoot with Kelly and Kalina. It was an excellent experience enjoyed by everyone. The pictures were incredible and will provide us memories for the rest of our lives. We will certianlly be doing another session with them in the future. Working with Kelly and Kalina has been a wonderful experience! Our engagement photos are beautiful and artistic-- exactly what we wanted. We are extremely pleased with the result!
