This is a beautiful venue and has so MICH to offer!! The ballroom is beautiful and the opportunities for creating the most beautiful reception are endless. This is easily the most gorgeous venue in the capital region to celebrate a wedding!

We had a fantastic experience during our wedding planning and on the actual wedding day. Not only is the Canfield beautiful but the flexibility to bring in vendors allowed us to completely customize our day.

Canfield casino is the perfect place for a wedding. The reception area is stunning. The actual ceremony was held in a more intimate and equally amazing room right off the reception area. The bar is amazing too. They have a wonderful room for the bride and her bridesmaid to get ready in. Highly recommend.

Kelly was awesome to work with when booking our venue. She answered my countless questions very quickly! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and full of character!

The Canfield Casino is so beautiful! We attended a wedding here two years ago and immediately knew that it had to be our venue. It was everything we hoped for and more. The building is amazing and acts as its own decoration. Very little extra is needed for your wedding, if anything. When you book them, they provide a list of suggested caterers, but keep in mind that you do not have to go by this list. We booked a vendor who was not on the list, but frequently caters the Casino. Canfield has a full kitchen so all your food will be fresh and not being shipped in heating trays. The Casino is also owned by the city which we believe help keeps the cost competitive and usually less expensive than other venues. We worked with Kelly throughout the process leading up to our wedding and she was always very responsive and helpful. We frequently would pepper her with small questions and she always got back to us quickly and with clear informed responses. We never had any issues dealing with them at all in the process. One extra little tip, pay the extra for the upgraded chairs. The upgraded chairs do not end up adding much to your final cost, and are so worth it. They are comfortable and look great. We highly reccomend Canfield Casino!

Just booked this as my wedding venue. I cannot wait, once you walk through its magical and photos don't do it justice! I've heard nothing but wonderful things.

Absolutely beautiful! Our guests were in love with this venue (as were we!), Between the huge bar, the beautiful parlor room and the breathtaking ceiling in the ballroom, this is the perfect wedding venue! The staff was also very nice and helpful!

We had our wedding on November 7, 2015 at the Canfield Casino and it was absolutely the perfect venue for a wedding of our size (roughly 200 guests). Everyone commented how beautiful the venue was, from the large bar and parlor space to the historic ballroom. The Casino allows you the flexibility of choosing from an approved list of caterers that all compete for business so their pricing is lower than going to a vendor owned location. The Casino is absolutely beautiful lit up and requires very little expense for centerpieces as the more candles/votives the better!

This venue is spectacular! It provides a beautiful space for a reception, and has a separate area for Cocktail hour. My guests were awed by the beauty of the building. A word of warning, this venue is so popular you have to book your date well in advance. We booked a year and a half ahead of time and were limited on the dates available. Other than that, this venue was absolutely perfect for us!

Our reception was at the Canfield Casino and let me just say, it was the talk of the night. It is the perfect venue for your guests to be completely wowed. We went with the Canfield, as we wanted to customize it to our needs and pick what vendors really shined in the area to make our wedding special. From cocktail hour where your guests see the gorgeous bar and parlor room to start, than to open up the huge doors to go into the main dining area where you look up and see the Tiffany glass windows is just amazing. Guests were just amazed to see this venue and how gorgeous it really is. It is the responsibility of the bride and groom to figure out all of the vendors, as the Canfield is just the place to house everyone under one roof. Again though perfect place to customize, but I will say it was pretty expensive, with all the travel fee's for some vendors, but because we booked amazing vendors in the area, we didn't have to be killed by those fee's, so look in town, as there are plenty of talented people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you plan to customize your day and recommend getting a wedding planner to keep track of everything!

Our winter wedding at the Canfield Casino was absolutely beautiful! The space is so unique and yet classic. The space books up almost two years in advance so we were lucky to be planning a winter wedding and were able to host our ceremony and reception here. The historic features of the building are what really makes it beautiful. From the light coming through the glass on the ceiling to the wooden bar - the entire venue has such character. We enjoyed that the venue requires you to bring in an outside vendor and we selected a local restaurant, Maestro's at the Van Dam, to cater our reception. Our guests commented that it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they have ever been it. Yes, while it is a bit tricky to view the venue, with some advanced notice or a friendly vendor who is getting the venue ready on a weekend you can view it easily, even as an out-of-towner (which we were).

I grew up in the area, always hearing about the Canfield Casino but never actually attending an event there. When I got engaged, it was my top choice of a venue to check out - in fact, it was one of only two venues we looked at before signing on the dotted line. The beauty of the Casino and its distinct vintage character were the selling points for us - we loved the period details (including the wonderfully weird chandeliers and the giant painting of Napoleon on horseback) and were inspired by the space in every aspect of our wedding planning. Working with the city of Saratoga was surprisingly easy, from initial contract to spending our 15 minutes on the carousel on our wedding day. Although we liked that we could bring in any caterer we chose, we were ultimately glad that we chose Mazzone, which had lots of experience working in the Casino; our event managers were able to anticipate some of the quirks of the space. It was also wonderful to have a wedding planner familiar with the venue (Katie O').

After seeing the canfield casino we didn't have to look at any other venues. It was truly love at first sight! We got countless compliments by our guests about how beautiful it was. We also had our ceremony in congress park which was picture perfect.

This place is beautiful and everyone loved the high ceilings and the beautiful bar!

Beautiful historic venue. Must bring in own caterer, linens, chairs, etc so expenses do add up but atmosphere is worth it!

Best place in Saratoga to get married! The building is beautiful and the park is perfect for pictures. Also close to the bars downtown so guests can continue to party!

The venue is absolutely breathtaking. When we were venue-shopping I was stalking various blogs and fell in love with the Casino. When I called in September of 2011 to check their available dates for May, June or July of 2013 I was shocked they only had one Saturday available! 2 hours later we had a check to the City to hold the date. Needless to say, since I booked the venue without even seeing it first, it is absolutely gorgeous! Everything was in pristine condition the day of the wedding and the guests were WOW-ed! The only downside is how far out you need to book it and the fees associated with renting the venue along with bringing in your own caterer (kitchen fee) and upgraded chairs. With that said, I would have my wedding there over again! :)

We had our reception at the Canfield and it was incredible! Everything was in place and there was not one single thing that could have been better about the place! I will say though that it can be hard to book a wedding as it is such a desirable place. Ours was on a Friday and because of that we got in and booked our reception 6 months prior to the event! We loved the casino, it was perfect!

Canfield Casino is one of the best wedding venues in New York. It served as a perfect backdrop for our vintage wedding reception and the staff there were so helpful and accommodating. Caterers love working there because they have a fabulous kitchen and guests are always amazed by the beauty of the casino because the parlor and the ballroom are stunning! The parlor serves as a great cocktail reception area and the ballroom has a great dance floor so that even if you have a large number of guests there is still plenty of room to dance it up. The stage allows for the perfect setup for the DJ and/or band and the doorway between the parlor and the ballroom made the perfect entrance for introductions. The Canfield Casino is a gem and a favorite among wedding couples which is why it is often hard to book so I would plan ahead if you can.

What a beautiful historic location...decorations needed were minimal, the staff was always helpful, and the space was just simply awesome for dancing, eating and drinking and celebrating with our friends and family-highly recommend the Casino!!!

Best place ever! If you are getting married in the saratoga area this is the best place to do it.

It's such a beautiful location in Saratoga Springs. I chose it because of the architecture and because its wow factor surpasses any reception hall.

The Canfield Casino is the perfect venue for a wedding. The space is gorgeous and needs no decoration. The scale is comfortable (we were about 160 people) and allows for the event to flow nicely. We received so many compliments on our beautiful venue, and would highly recommend it!
