Amazing venue with a view!! Great food!! Our guests were raving about the delicious food from the hors d'oeuvres to the main course & desserts. The servers were really nice and accomodating too! Brock House Restaurant is fantastic! We had our ceremony and reception held here and it was perfect! Everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly and responded very quickly to emails and questions. The setting is so magical and the food was AMAZING! Everyone couldn't stop raving about it!!! All of the cocktail hour hor d'herves looked beautiful- our guests said they were tasty! And our dinner we choose was unreal! Everything was beautiful and delicious. The servers are so nice and friendly and very very professional. Our guests were very impressed. Weddings are their specialty and it shows. Julie and Hikari were exceptional. Had so many questions/emails going back and forth but they were both efficient with answering and did not seem too annoyed with responding back ;) Food was great - all of our guests were in love with the lobster bisque en croute. It was piping hot (we were worried that the food would have gotten cold by the time it was served) and all food was delicious. Bartenders were very understanding and knew how to handle all of our requests during the open bar period. Our guests said that all of the wait staff were attentive, constantly refilling water/wine, efficient and remembered all little requests. Initially we had a concern with the dance floor not being in the same area as the dinner tables, but since the Brockhouse is more of a relaxed atmosphere, there was no problem with bringing people in to watch the first dance. Thank you to all the wait staff, Maitre'd (I believe it was Leslie?) and catering managers for making it a memorable venue.Julie and Hikari were exceptional. Our wedding was the most wonderful event! It was like a dream!! Everything went so smoothly, looked and tasted gorgeous, and all of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they'd ever been to. This is, in no small part, thanks to the fabulous team at Brock House. Julie, Hikari and Jeremy went above and beyond the call of duty and I could not be more thrilled with their extremely warm and professional service, both leading up to the special day, and on the day of. I planned a wedding in less than six months and for under budget and it was simply a spectacular day. Thank you so much!Our wedding was the most wonderful event! It was like a dream!! Brock House was absolutely amazing. We picked this venue because it really didn't need much in terms of decorating. It's such a beautiful heritage home with such class and elegance. The whole team made our day absolutely wonderful, Hikari and Julie were always a pleasure to deal with. The food was unbelievable! We did the Point Grey buffet and seriously worth every penny! Thank you Brock House for making our day so special and memorable!Brock House was absolutely amazing. We picked this venue because it really didn't need much in terms of decorating. If you are looking for a venue that has it all, look no further than the Brock House Restaurant. A location for both the ceremony and reception; a gorgeous view of the water (doesn't get much more WestCoast than this); professional & friendly staff and great food.
Julie and Hikari could not have been more helpful when it came to answering my many hundreds of questions, as well as offering suggestions and ideas for our set-up and timeline of the wedding.
We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting and a greater experience with the Brock House. We had our wedding at Brock House Restaurant 2014..
It was such a success and amazing wedding thanks to Julie & Hakari + all the staff.
The service was just incredible, and the food was outstanding!
All my wedding guests were raving about the food along with myself.
Many told me it was the best food they had ever tasted. No kidding around, it was amazing.
The waiters were very professional, and kind. For the myself, the groom and for my wife they held our plates, put the food we wanted on our plates for us and brought them back to our seats.
(We chose the Buffet)
The location is second to none, it is exceptionally gorgeous!
They made the whole event stress free & perfect. Exactly what you would want on your wedding day.
There simply could not have been a better place to have our wedding then the Brock House Restaurant..

My 5 Star Rating goes for the professionalism, service, responsiveness, etc of the staff on the actual wedding day (servers, maitre d, chef, etc). My word of warning to brides who are thinking of using the Brock House - when you are speaking to the catering managers and you feel like they are useless - don't worry, they are, but they don't actually have anything to do with your wedding the day of, they're just in charge of the 'sales' side of things and booking dates.
The servers were super professional, looked sharp and were very attentive to the guests. The maitre d Jeremy, was excellent. He made sure everything went perfectly and that my husband and I were taken care of and stress free the whole night. The most amazing part - the food. It was to die for. I expected wedding food to be not so great - but when we went for our tasting we were astounded. We had filet mignon and baked salmon as choices and they were INCREDIBLE. Literally, incredible. People have not stopped talking about how amazing the food was at our wedding and we will be returning to the restaurant for all of our anniversaries.
All of my wedding vendors leading up to the day told me I wasn't allowed to be stressed because I was getting married at the Brock House and it is the least stressful venue in all of Vancouver to get married at because: 1. the ceremony and reception are at the same place which makes it much much easier, and 2. the staff are amazing and take care of everything and make sure everything runs perfectly. They were absolutely right. Brock House takes care of so many of the little details of your wedding, you wouldn't even need to hire a wedding planner. There isn't much that needs to be done in order to decorate Brock House into a perfect wedding venue. Most of the set up is classy and beautiful finished alone! Many of our guests kept commenting in awe the whole night on the beauty of our venue choice and that it was one of, if not the most beautiful weddings they had ever attended. They cater their own events and the food is top-notch; Delicious with various options to choose from. Not to mention, the employees are so helpful and professional. I cannot speak highly enough of Brock House and all of the fantastic people that work there! We had our wedding there just the other week and guests are still raving to us about what a fantastic wedding it was - from the set up all the way through to the end of the reception they did not miss a beat! The food was delicious and the wait staff very attentive to everyone's drink needs. The scenery cannot be beat from that lawn! And not only was the night perfect, but the whole lead up to the day was made so much easier by Julie and HIkari. They were always quick to answer questions and flexible when minor changes were requested. Our wedding was always going to be a special day but it was made that much more special by Brock House.I cannot speak highly enough of Brock House and all of the fantastic people that work there! All of our guests loved the settings and the food, which was plentiful and very fresh. The staff were excellent and very professional, especially the catering manager and the maitre d' who helped ensure everything went smoothly. The staff at Brock House were friendly and very professional. Our guests raved about the service they received and enjoyed the evening. As the bride and groom, we have a server wait on us and that was a pleasant surprise = ). The wait staff was always available and did their best ensure the evening went well. The only issue we had was that the parking lot was full when we arrived and the cars did not belong to our wedding party or guests.The staff at Brock House were friendly and very professional. Our guests raved about the service they received and enjoyed the evening. As the bride and groom, we have a server wait on us and that was a pleasant surprise = ). Overall our wedding at the Brock House was good. We had a few issues that there wasn't enough chairs for the ceremony so we were delayed but they were fairly quick to get more chairs, the speakers weren't working well for speeches so a lot of tables found it hard to hear us the whole evening, they forgot to send some tables for the Buffet so they waited a long time to eat. Otherwise the food was amazing and the venue itself is so beautiful on the water. We were lucky to have a nice day! Our personal waiter was so great to the head table all night. The dancing area was quite small, that was the only real downfall and that its separate from the tent so a lot of people missed our first dance or couldn't fit to see. Otherwise I do recommend the Brock house for a smaller wedding size 150 or less as we had 160 and was quite snug.Overall our wedding at the Brock House was good. The food at our wedding was delightful! All the courses were served quickly and came out warm, which is very important. The salmon was raved about, even by the pickiest eaters and was so moist! We had a sit down dinner, and the servers did a great job. The venue itself is unique for an outdoor wedding, that offers a backup plan, incase of rain. The tent was great for the reception, but the $400 tent fee is a bit much. The bridal room was great, but could have used a fan, as it was really warm in their. All in all, we're very happy with our experience with the Brock House.The food at our wedding was delightful! All the courses were served quickly and came out warm, which is very important. The salmon was raved about, even by the pickiest eaters and was so moist! We had a sit down dinner, and the servers did a great job. We did a sit down dinner for our wedding and I have to say the food and service was awesome, it's what everyone is still talking about. It's also a beautiful location and well priced compared to other options in Vancouver. The only thing I didn't love was that you only have 2 hours to set up and it's a pretty late start for a wedding dinner. My planner was unable to set everything up on time. Also they are not flexible with the times, i wanted to have a cocktail and appy hour on the lawn before going into the house for dinner and they wouldn't accommodate an earlier start than 6:30 so we didn't bother since I didn't want to push dinner past 7pm.We did a sit down dinner for our wedding and I have to say the food and service was awesome, it's what everyone is still talking about. The venue was GORGEOUS, and the food was fantastic. It was great to be somewhere that eliminated so many stressors. We didn't have to worry about transportation between ceremony & reception, there was very little decorating to be done because the venue itself is so beautiful and has such an incredible view. We had all of our pictures taken on the grounds. Best of all, it being Vancouver, when it decided to rain, we simply moved the ceremony into the conservatory which was still absolutely amazing. The only negative I have about the venue is that they only allow one DJ company, and that particular company is unpleasant to deal with and has very limited music. Overall, we were thrilled with the venue. The rain-plan alone makes the venue more than worth it, all the other positives are just icing on the wedding cake.The venue was GORGEOUS, and the food was fantastic. My husband and I recently got married in Brock House. Julie and Hikari were very professional, responsive and helpful. Brock House was the very first venue my husband and I checked out and just fell in love with the location and ambiance. The price is not cheap but considering where it's located we think it's quite reasonable. We had our intimate wedding reception on the 2nd floor of Brock House, which by the way is a perfect venue for guests 50 and under. They did all the set up (except for decorations) and take down for both ceremony and reception. We didn't hire their exclusive DJ but instead asked our friend to play our playlist on our laptop and just brought in AV speakers. The food was amazing, and my family and friends raved about it! However, we did not think they replenished the hot entrée often and quick enough. One of the staff also broke the vases we rented from our florist. Staff were nice enough to wash the cake stand we rented from our cake maker, but when we received it the silverware had white specks all over and was very hard to get rid of! Brock House is a perfect wedding venue. Just know that they are also one of the most coveted wedding locations in the city. With this in mind, your expectations should be manged accordingly.
They have an F&B minimum, and will try to upsell at every opportunity. They do not have a great inventory/reporting system to back up the bar totals for the night. The Catering Manager is just that- a catering manager. Not a wedding planner. They will most likely not even be on site during your wedding.
The servers are delightful, and mostly caring and profesional, but they have a schedule and a way of doing things that you, the customer, need to adhere to. Again, it is just about managing expectations.
You have to use their F&B services, their approved DJ and their decorator. But, the decorator and the DJ are reasonable priced, when in all honesty, they could take the opportunty to inflate their costs based on exclusivity.
The food is delicious, the location is perfect, and you can have yoru ceremony, garden & beach pictures, and reception in one locale.
We loved it, but those on a tighter budget may be more challenged.
Also know the building is a heritage house. No AC in the brides room, and no bathrooms that easily fit a wedding dress!

Although the Catering manager is very polite and friendly, and the food is delicious for the money we spent I expected way more. After hearing complaints from multiple people that attended/threw weddings at Brock house that the service was incredibly slow we had them hire extra waiters which we paid for and the service was still very slow. As we (the head table were receiving our entrees some of the tables still had not had their appetizers. The wait staff seemed confused and were not nearly as professional as what I expect for the amount of money we spent. They can be accommodating and in some ways were great but overall i expect more when I pay a lot of money and feel they could have done a much better job. The chef is great but in the beginning we were asked due to provide recipes due to special diets which I found very odd and during the tasting all of the meals were very mixed up and the staff seemed very confused. I was very frustrated with a number of things when trying to organize wedding details and though the venue is gorgeous there is some cleaning that could be done to glass ceilings, tent and lawn upkeep.
