We had the most amazing wedding experience at the Essex Club. The hospitality was exceptional from start to finish, and every detail was handled with such care and professionalism. The staff made us feel completely taken care of and truly went out of their way to make the day seamless and special. Rob, Julissa, and Jessica were especially incredible and went above and beyond for everything we needed. We felt so supported the entire time and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. -

I wish I could give 100000 stars for this venue! From the start to the complete end of our wedding planning process, it has been a BREEZE with Jessica and Essex Club. We booked back in September 2024 for our March 2026 wedding and it was the best decision we made! Jessica is an angel with answering by crazy emails, requests, etc. She made my husband and I feel like family from day one! She was always so honest and open with us for the start. Essex Club has an AMAZING staff that go above and beyond! They truly made our day come to life even more than we could have imagined! The staff, venue, food, experience, everything was top notch. I highly recommend Essex Club to any newly engaged couple. They will make your wedding planning process so easy and smooth. The food at our wedding was so good all our guests raved about it! We went with the package and highly recommend! We did a few upgrades at extra costs but that’s just preference! All the vendors you can choose from are so nice and easy to talk too so it was hard to narrow it down to the final ones. Jessica at Essex Club is the main reason why we booked with them. She is so kind, calm, respectful, responsive and talented! You are in GREAT hands when you book with Essex Club!! -

The team at Essex Club was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They were extremely communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is classic and timeless, with a clean and elegant aesthetic that provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. I really wanted an outdoor ceremony, and Essex was happy to help me make that vision come true (and thankfully the weather worked in our favor). The level of service and attention to detail was outstanding, and our guests raved about the quality of the food and drinks. The package that is offered truly helps reduce wedding stress as the vendors are familiar with Essex and were very reliable. We could not have asked for a better experience, and we highly recommend Essex Club to any couple looking for a stress-free and memorable wedding celebration. -

My wedding day was absolutely perfect!
My guests could not stop talking about how good the food was and how polite the wait staff was. My bridal attendant was absolutely phenomenal! And the manager, Jessica is so lovely and down to earth-she was a complete pleasure and made sure everything went accordingly on our big day. And a special thanks to Robert, he was so nice and attentive during our wedding day and just made the process so much more smoother.
Would highly recommend this venue hands down! -

The William's Wedding 9/19/2025
From start to finish my daughter Anna & son in law Brian's wedding was absolutely fabulous! The staff at The Essex Club, Brentwood, NY provided impeccable service. Jessica Dobbins went above & beyond to make my daughters visions reality. Her time & patience was greatly appreciated. Rob's extreme attention to detail & professionalism was incredible. The planning process for the event was smooth & stress-free. Julissa, her bridal attendant was with her the moment she arrived & stayed by her side through the entire event. Julissa & the staff gathered & packed all the extra decor that was brought to the venue & made the cleanup for us effortless. A special thank you to Darren of Absolute Entertainment for tearing the roof off with nonstop entertainment & fun. The dance floor was never empty & the guests danced all night. Music was amazing...Thank you! The food was a major highlight-we all received endless compliments on the menu! We all couldnt have asked for a better experience & can't recommend The Essex Club enough! In the end we all became one big family! Thank you over & over, Looking forward to planning future events here. -

Omg!! I couldn’t be more happier with the staffs and vendors from Essex club! We got the complete wedding package and Jessica, venue coordinator was so responsive with all my questions, Jessica all communicated with the vendors for transportation and delivery so the week before my wedding was extremely smooth. Bob , maitre d was amazing and so organized, all the staffs were nice!!! Julissa, bridal attendant was with me all throughout the night doing everything I requested. The in-house vendors was so professional and experienced!!!! I hope I can host another party at Essex club whether it’s gender reveal or baby shower!!! 😍 -

First I wish I could give 100 stars, because I had the best weekend of my life. We had our wedding here 9/19/25 and it seriously was perfection because of the amazing staff here. From the early planning stages, Jessica had ensured all of my crazy questions/needs were met instantly. Day of, my bridal attendant Jalissa was AMAZING!! She took care of everything I asked all night long and was the sweetest. Our Matire D, Rob, was absolutely amazing he felt like family to us. From all the vendors used within our vendor package, back to the staff it seriously was the most special night of my life. Every detail I had was thought of and taken care of with no hesitation or question asked. Food was also 10/10 every single one of my guests have texted me throughout the weekend raving how delicious everything was! I could go on and on but the staff knows how special they were to me and how amazing they made me and my husband feel and made my day simply perfect. Love you guys!!

I had a small wedding of only 60 people, and Essex Club was perfect for catering to small weddings. The inside is very elegant looking. It is exactly what I wanted. I loved working with Jessica, she always responded very quickly, and she was very flexible with anything that we wanted to do. We decided to do the ceremony inside instead of outside at the last minute due to rain, but Essex did such a great job that the rain didn’t have any impact on our wedding! Many of our guests told us that it was a great wedding and some even said it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! I would highly recommend Essex Club. -

10/10 Definitely Recommend
I am absolutely speechless. It was an absolute pleasure having the opportunity to work with the Essex club. The staff was incredible, friendly and this venue truly brought my wedding vision to life. Jessica, The coordinator was awesome Anna the bridal attendant was awesome, Rob the matre'd was awesome!!!! Everyone was absolutely incredible. The food was amazing. We couldn't get enough compliments on how tasty the food was and how amazing and friendly the staff was. The ambience of the venue was absolutely incredible , I am truly left speechless after working with the Essex club!! 10 out of 10 I definitely recommend having every party and event hosted with the Essex club. I promise you will not be disappointed and I will definitely be returning! -

We cannot recommend this venue enough. Start to finish was such a great experience for us! We got many comments from guests about how delicious the food was and the staff was incredible. They were accommodating, helpful and kind. They truly were there to make sure we had the best day possible. The vendors included in their all inclusive package were excellent to work with as well. The day went smooth and was flawless and we truly can’t thank the Essex Club enough for making the best night of our lives possible! They set up and took down all of our decor which was HUGE, it’s not something the bride, groom or family wants to do after celebrating all night. Jessica was also fantastic- she answered all of my questions (believe me, I had a ton) and was so helpful during the planning process. I never had the “stressed bride” experience and it was definitely because of her help and expertise! She made sure I was prepared for everything at our final details meeting and was so helpful. We’re so sad that it’s over but happy to say that if we had to rewind and do it all over again, we wouldn’t regret choosing the Essex Club for a single second! -

From beginning to end the team at The Essex Club was phenomenal. Jessica was so helpful and communicative and answered our questions. All the included vendors were fantastic. On our wedding day Rob was an impeccable host, and our bridal attendant, Jansi, was super attentive, quick, and very friendly. The Essex was the 3rd venue we looked at and we didn’t need to look any further. I can’t recommend them enough. The space was beautiful and they let us bring a unique photo op and were extremely accommodating with us about it. Thank you Essex Club for everything you did to help make our day amazing. -

Nothing beats the essex club! From the beginning to the end Jessica was almost like an angel from above! Any questions no matter how stupid or how silly she always responded! Rob was amazing and Jancey was literally an angel! I would get married again just to have it there and will definitely be having my baby shower there! When I tell you this venue was the best choice we could have made, I mean it !!We love you all!!!💗💗 -

This place is perfect!
Jessica, Rob and Jansi were nothing short of spectacular. From the day we toured, to my thousand questions while planning, to the tasting, to the day of. Everything was executed perfectly. We have zero complaints about how our forever began. We’re not local to Long Island and they were so helpful on the limited trips we took out there and over the phone and email. Our day was perfect. -

The moment I walked into the Essex Club I knew that my wedding was going to be there. Starting with Lauren my sales rep and event coordinator, she was such a sweet person during my first visit and took her time to explain everything and answer all my questions. Then Jessica the venue manager, she was as amazing as Lauren. She was professional and very responsive. Lauren and Jessica made my wedding planning feel like a breeze. Going with their petite wedding package (including recommended vendors) made my planning so much easier. All the recommended vendors were amazing and exceeded my expectations. Also, the wedding package is one of the most affordable you will find in New York, and it is totally worthy.
Now onto the day of my wedding, Rob the maître d was AMAZING. He took care of everything, and the event flowed without any hiccups. My guests kept talking about how organized the wedding was. And Ana, my bridal attendant also did a great job. Not only did she help me and my husband throughout the night but also helped us with translating from English to Spanish to my parents who do not speak English. Ana and Rob also did an amazing Job at bustling my dress. It was so difficult to do and took some time, but it came out beautiful. I got compliments about the way my dress was bustled during the night.
All the staff was amazing. My guests truly enjoyed the food and the drinks. People loved the taco bar for the cocktail hour and the short ribs for our plated dinner. Everything looked classy and amazing, and everybody felt well taken care of.
The only regret I have was not going for their regular wedding package for 100 people. I ended up way over the guest count for the petite package which is 50 people and had to pay extra for a few things to accommodate the extra people. Their regular package would have probably been cheaper. Lauren had recommended for this to me, and I wished I listened to her. A piece of advice, listen to what they recommend you. The have been in the wedding business for years and they know better.

I had my wedding at the Essex Club on Saturday and it was amazing! They've been doing weddings for an impressive amount of years and it shows. They are a well oiled machine. Everything is organized to ensure that you have zero concerns on your wedding day. Their attention to detail is impressive. They think of everything. My husband and I planned our wedding in a little over 2 months and felt no stress during the planning process. Jessica ensured that we understood everything and told us what we needed to get and what they were taking care of (they take care of almost everything, except for your wedding signs and any add ons you want to bring). Their vendors know the place very well so there's no need for you to stress or go through the craziness that's depicted on wedding sites or by Youtubers. Their all inclusive pricing is the best I've seen from my research. They make the place look great for your big day. Great food! Seamless, effortless, everyone is super knowledgeable. Just listen to them and let go. Your day of attendants take care of everything for you. Our photographer got us to look good and we don't even like pictures 😊. We all had a good time! My husband and I prayed for God to give us a seamless wedding with the perfect venue, (with only 2+ months of planning) and He certainly did. Even the weather (forecasted for thunderstorms) was clear and perfect! Super happy and definitely will recommend! -

We LOVED the Essex Club. Jessica was so amazing and easy to work with and she really made my vision come to life. The venue doesn’t look like much when you visit but it really transforms into such a beautiful place to celebrate. It’s definitely one of the more affordable venues on LI but nothing about it seems or looks cheap. The food was AMAZING. Everyone raved about it. The day ran totally smoothly. Jessica used extra florals they had around that matched our colors to make the place even more beautiful. You will absolutely not regrets having your wedding here. It was the best day of our lives. I could talk about how amazing it was for days. -

We had our wedding on 11/04/2022 and we could not have been happier that we chose to have our wedding at the Essex Club. From the beginning Jessica was absolutely amazing to work with. She was so accommodating and was able to make all of our visions come true. We had about 130 guests and everyone fit so comfortable. Jansi was the bridal attendant and she was literally the best. She was always by mine and my husbands side getting us whatever we needed. She was there for us throughout the entire night and was so attentive. Rob, the matrie`d was great and kept the wedding running so smoothly from start to finish. The Essex Club truly made my husband and I`s dream come true for our wedding day. We wish we could relive the day and every second of thanks to the Essex Club staff!! The food was also amazing and our guests still rave about all the food!! We wish we could relive the wedding every weekend!! -

Most amazing wedding night
Jessica from the beginning was a dream to work with. Always available to answer my emails with my tons of questions. My bridal attendant we met her at the venue show case and requested her instantly. She made sure me and my husband ate, had drinks in our hands, and worked so good to make sure we had a great time. Rob the maître’d was phenomenal. Our best man’s entrance had some technical issues due to some proper he had and Rob ran to the rescue to make sure he was able to do his entrance as needed. We also got informed by family how amazing the staff was. Very informative, gave great directions on where guests needed to go or be. There was no complaint insight. Our only regret was not extending the party. Bartenders took care of our guests, there was literally not a single staff member that didn’t contribute to how amazing the day was. Id recommend Essex Club 1000 times over and over. -

Essex is simply the best!
The Essex club is simply the best. Jessica worked with me for several months to ensure I booked my perfect date. I know no one else does that! Unlike so many other wedding locations I visited, there are no hidden fees or gimmicks to worry about. Communication is clear, concise and timely. She offered me so much wise guidance every single time! The vendors that are part of the packages are incredible. I worked with Dalsmier for the flowers and they stayed within my budget and brought the most beautiful fresh flowers & decor. Park avenue for photos offered a competitive package and captured our day beautifully! I had to plan my wedding in only two months and without Jessica and the team, this would have never happened. The day of, I had a few scares (from vendors not in the package) and Jessica came right in to handle my nerves and make my wedding day just perfect. I loved my incredibly sweet and knowledgeable bridal attendant and super helpful Maitre D. I had 7 children in my wedding party and he knew just how to handle it all. The venue is just gorgeous and my guests loved about the venue, the food and drinks & the service. They have bilingual staff, which made my family so comfortable. If you are looking for a beautiful venue, with incredible staff and no hassle communication, Essex is your place. I want to have my 10 year anniversary there and can only hope Jessica is still leading the way! -

I had my wedding at The Essex Club in Sept 2021 and it was a perfect day. I want to shout out 3 people. Jessica the sales manager worked with me from the very beginning, and was super responsive to my dozens (And dozens!) of emails and questions. Day of, Rob the maitre'd and Jansi the bridal attendant were so incredibly kind and attentive and helpful, and Jessica was there too and also helping getting last minute things set up as well. Rob and Jansi made sure I had everything I need and even thought of some things I might need/want before I could even ask. All my guests commented on how beautiful the venue was - with the 3 distinct spots - outside for the ceremony, the beautiful indoor/outdoor space for the cocktail hour, and the indoor reception space. And multiple people told me it was the best food they've had at a wedding! It was the perfect day and I can't thank the staff at the venue enough. -

Our Wedding at The Essex Club
We recently held our wedding at The Essex Club and overall had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing delicious and beautifully presented. We had 135 guests, including ourselves, but the maître d’ told us we had 138. We know for a fact three people did not show up, yet we didn’t receive the meals for those three absent guests. Considering how good the food was and that we had paid for those meals it was a bit disappointing and confusing.
Our maître d’, Rob, was very kind and hardworking; we truly appreciated his efforts throughout the night. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. Despite asking in advance for food service to begin earlier, it was served much later than requested. Some small details we’d discussed ahead of time with both Jessica (the manager) and Rob such as how programs and wands would be distributed at the ceremony ended up being handled differently, and we had many left over. In addition, some details were missed: for example, the team didn’t realize we had a sand ceremony planned and had to set it up at the last minute. These issues were all handled on the spot, but they did add some stress.
Another area to note is clarity around policies and fees. During booking, we were told a lot was possible, but closer to the event there were additional charges or timing restrictions for decorating or requesting certain set-ups. The administration fee also felt a bit confusing. Jessica, the manager, did kindly allow me to decorate the ceiling; however, it had to be completed within a specific time frame, otherwise I would have been charged extra.
Finally, although we had an open bar, our signature drink required us to supply the alcohol ourselves because the venue did not carry it. A small gesture like providing it for us would have gone a long way and left us feeling even more taken care of.
Overall, The Essex Club is a beautiful venue with great food and a hardworking staff. With a bit more consistency, organization, and flexibility on details, it could easily provide an exceptional experience for future couples.
