Timeless photo and video that did not disappoint

If you want flawless photos and a wedding video that you will watch numerous times without tiring, Blueflash Photography is who you need. Working with Matt was too easy. After a brief and informational call about the packages they offer and what I wanted for the wedding, we ended up choosing the Blue 2.0 package. I was not too sure about the videography option, but if you're on the fence, DO IT. My now-husband and I had a great engagement session and got to work with Matt, which helped us become more comfortable in front of the camera. After that, they provided an easy form to fill out that discusses what pictures you like with which family members/friends, your priorities, etc. The day of, the team of three were incredibly kind and professional. They made sure our pictures went smoothly but quickly, and we were even able to enjoy part of cocktail hour! We got full access to the beautiful photos a couple of weeks later, and it was so worth the wait. Our wedding video transported us back to that day, and it was so fun to see video of all our guests smiling and enjoying themselves, especially since the day flies by so fast. It was truly amazing to work with Matt and the entire Blueflash team. With variety of photo packages/ a la carte options to choose from, you will have incredible photo and/or video within your budget!

Absolutely Amazing!

Best Team Ever!!!! Not only did we receive amazing quality pictures quickly but the entire team made our wedding day run completely seamless. Matt is so kind and cares about every detail during the whole process. We did end up getting the drone coverage for the video and was 1000% worth every penny. They were able to capture every special moment of our wedding day and create a timeless keepsake for us! I would 11/10 recommend this team for your wedding or any special event!

Supremely professional & Incredibly talented

Matt and the Blueflash team are absolutely incredible. I can not say enough about their professionalism and talent. Ahead of our wedding, Matt had us fill out a detailed form marking down which type of photos were most important to us. By our wedding day Matt had seemingly committed our answers to memory and was able to recall our top priorities off the top of his head. This came in handy when, due to a small transportation issue, we had significantly less time for post-ceremony pictures at the church than we had planned for. Matt was able to, at the drop of a hat and in a very narrow amount of time, get everyone in our humongous wedding party on board and in order for photos of each family, wedding party photos, parent photos, etc. All day long, Matt and the team were just lovely to work with. Their professionalism kept us on time throughout the day and they had a calm, joyful vibe that positively contributed to our day. I am someone who is extremely critical of pictures of myself and often hate the way that pictures of me come out. After receiving our pictures back from Matt (in less than two weeks) I can honestly say there is not a single picture I don’t like. They are truly incredible and I am so overwhelmed with gratitude that we went with Blueflash for our wedding photography. The feeling of loving your own wedding photos is just priceless. After showing the photos to my parents my mom hit the nail on the head when she said, “They didn’t just take pictures, they captured the emotion.” My father echoed her sentiment, sharing, “They captured the whole spirit of the day.”

5-Star Photo & Video Rec!

My husband and I hired Blueflash for our wedding photos and video. We were referred their services from our venue, Aldrich Mansion. They came highly recommended, and we loved their portfolio. Matt was our point person pre-wedding and was also our photographer on the day of. He is extremely through and detailed, and as a very organized person myself, I loved working with him! On our wedding day, the Blueflash team helped us adhere to our timeline and took full advantage of every photo opportunity. The overall product was superb, and the photos came back in only 3 weeks! I couldn’t have asked for a better team to document this wonderful day for us. They preserved our big day perfectly! I would be happy to recommend their services to anyone!

Amazing! Couldn't ask for a better video

We were so happy we decided to have a wedding video and go with BlueFlash! Matt was awesome. He captured every special moment and yet was a subtle presence in the background.
We received the video in no time vs. friends who've had to wait months and he turned around our edits super quickly. The video itself was beyond our expectations and he really listened to our vision since my concern was that it could be cheesy like many I've seen. It captured the entire day and the vibe we wanted perfectly. I'm so thankful to have this video and be able to relive the day through it!

Hire Blueflash for your wedding - 6/5 stars

We think the highest endorsement you can grant to a wedding photographer is that they weren't a huge part of the wedding while it happened, but they were a major part of it after it happened. That epitomizes our experience with Matt and Blueflash Photography. They knew all of the angles, all of the perspectives, all of the moments to capture without us having to even think. A wedding day is gone in a flash (super bad with puns) and you want to enjoy every moment with your guests and not which poses to make for photographs. We strongly considered going with some other alternative photographers who were, transparently, less expensive. We are really, really, really glad that we did not go in those directions. Every time we look at our photos we are transported back to those wonderful moments. Who wouldn't want to relive the best days of their lives? 6/5 stars.

Amazing Video Experience

Blueflash did an amazing job with our wedding video! We brought them on last minute after another vendor had to cancel due to staffing issues post-COVID, and the team was nothing short of incredible. Matt was great to work with regarding planning and our vision for the day, and the video team day of was timely, professional, and fun to work with. The final video we got was so fun and artistic, and I love the way the music and lyrics were incorporated with the shots of the day. Totally recommend Blueflash for videography!

The best photographer in Rhode Island

Highly recommend hiring Blueflash for your wedding. The team was professional, thorough, friendly, on time, easy to work with, talented, experienced, the list goes on. We got our photos in less than a month and our videos shortly after. This was the best investment I made at our wedding - the photos are gorgeous and I watch our highlight video at least once a day. Nothing short of Amazing

Emily and her husband shot our wedding earlier this month and in all honesty, they were nothing short of amazing. The whole team has been incredibly easy to work with since day one - as we planned and re-planned our wedding (covid), they were so communicative and lovely-- even when I completely slipped up about our date change, they were understanding and flexible which we were so appreciative of after everything 2020 threw at us. Their talent is obvious in their photos, but just as important, their attitude and demeanors were just so pleasant - they made us feel comfortable at our engagement shoot and even more at ease throughout the whole wedding day and nonchalantly read the room and adapted to it. They even stayed an extra hour at a last minute whim request. We got to see some photos early and I can't wait to see the rest :)

Blueflash Rocks!
We hired Matt in 2019 and got our first Blueflash experience with an engagement shoot in Newport. Matt showed up right on time with a smile and had us laughing from start to finish. The pictures were fantastic! Fast forward two years through a pandemic and postponed wedding, Matt and Rebecca showed up to our new wedding date and made it an absolute blast. From getting ready, to first look, ceremony, family photos, and partying… Matt and Rebecca made us feel like celebrities, relieved boatloads of our stresses, and added tons of fun to our day.
We never realized how big of a role the photographer plays in keeping the day on track and making sure the bride and groom make it to where they need to be, but Matt and Rebecca did a fantastic job keeping us all on track. The entire wedding party was raving at how great the photographers were at being so present and so supportive, but never in the way.
Aside from how great of people they are to hang out with, Matt and Rebecca obviously have a great eye for photography. They were both out scouting our venue grounds finding amazing spots to shoot. We absolutely love our wedding album and could not believe how quickly and professionally it was delivered. We can’t wait to have another reason to call Blueflash!

Highly Recommend Blueflash

Blueflash was fabulous to work with. We had to change our wedding date four times and they were always happy to accommodate. We even added an extra two hours a week before the wedding, which wasn't an issue. Matt was our photographer and he did a fabulous job, The photos came out amazing and he was creative with shots, which we really appreciated. Would highly recommend this studio if you're looking for a wedding photographer!

Excellent!

Matt and the Blueflash team were our wedding day superheroes. We reached out to Blueflash in a panic when our original celebration in upstate New York was canceled due to COVID-19. Additionally, due to military travel restrictions, we were only able to confirm our elopement 10 days in advance. Matt was super responsive from the very beginning. He was understanding of our unique circumstances and a pleasure to work with. To top it off, the forecast on our wedding day called for 100% chance of thunderstorms. We decided to move up our ceremony to avoid the rain. Matt and his team were able to accommodate our last minute time change and were total pros from start to finish. The photographs and video by far exceeded our expectations!! Blueflash has a super talented team and we would definitely hire them again.

Thank you for being a part of our wedding day

I will start off by saying that Britt Kosiba (Studio Manager for Blueflash) was extremely helpful and very easy to speak with. Britt was truly the only person who calmed my nerves about the timing and layout of our wedding day prior to arriving at the church. Besides the church (Cathedral in Providence) and reception (Providence Public Library), I was pretty much on my own coordinating the morning for myself and the bridesmaids. Britt went above and beyond to provide a clear picture of what the expect in regards to the layout of the day. The two photographers that my husband, Nick and I had were amazing-they are a really sweet and fun married couple. The photographers were very easy to work with and did an amazing job on all the pictures. Nick and I could not be more happy with our decision to use Blueflash.

Already watched our highlight film 50+ times!

We were undecided on whether or not we needed a videographer initially, but we are SO GLAD we got one. The option to revisit our wedding day given how fast it flew by is priceless, and Blueflash is THE team to choose. They captured the day so seamlessly as a team, and we barely noticed they were there in the background. Finally, their video editing is amazing! It is super thoughtful in the moments they chose, the music integration, the timeline of events, etc! Blueflash was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding day!

Amazing, Professional, Stunning Photos

Blueflash photographed and filmed our September 2019 wedding and they were nothing short of perfection. In our pre-wedding search for a photographer, we interviewed many different businesses, and Blueflash definitely stood out from the rest. Britt answered all of our questions and took the time to really get to know what we envisioned for our wedding. Our photographs were completed very quickly and were shared with us only 2 weeks after our wedding! They were easy to access and are stunningly beautiful. We can't wait to see our video!

Amazing!

Emily, Britt and the entire team at Blueflash photography are simply AMAZING. Since the moment I had my initial meeting with Emily, I knew I was making the right decision. Such a sweet girl with an awesome personality. I did several sessions with Emily and each time she was amazing, accepted my visions and made them come to life thru her work. Britt is fantastic- she made the process so simple and easy and was like talking to a friend over the phone when planning the timeline, locations etc. She was always so pleasant! We also did our photo booth thru Blueflash, and while my conversation with the attendant was brief the day of the wedding ( you end up being pretty popular on your wedding day keeping you extremely busy - lol) he was also very nice and professional. The photo booth was a huge hit and the package the Cube offered was fantastic. I highly recommend Blueflash and their entire team- they are amazing at their profession, extremely talented and an absolute joy to work with !

Breathtaking Photography!

Blueflash exceeded our expectations in every way! From the initial phone call with Britt, she helped me navigate what I really wanted for photo coverage on the wedding day. I cannot say enough great things about Blueflash. My husband and I got married in August of 2017 and the Blueflash team was amazing!! Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Britt was extremely organized and helpful and Matt our photographer was fantastic. Our pictures and video are incredible and capture the beauty of our wedding day perfectly! We loved our pictures and experience!

Blueflash shot our wedding in Newport, RI in September. They made everyone feel comfortable and were sure to not interfere with the natural flow of the day and wedding (per our request). From the first time we reached out to them until we received the pictures, Britt was always incredibly quick to respond and follow up. This is a must for a bride and groom when you are planning a wedding and working with a number of different people - you don't want to be chasing your vendors. They were timely, got all of the shots that we asked for and then some, and were flexible when the typical wedding hiccups occurred. They also worked well coordinating with our venue and other vendors.

From start to finish, Blueflash was incredible. We had already seen their work through my cousin's wedding, so we knew we were going to get a great product. But what we didn't know was how seamless everything was behind the scenes. No questions went unanswered, and we felt like we were more than prepared during the entire process. During the day itself, as everything (and everyone) gets more and more chaotic, Emily and Kearsten were incredibly professional. They fit themselves into the crowd so no one felt like they had to stop the fun at any moment to pose! And now that we have our pictures - WOW. I haven't stopped looking through them. And we are continuing to hear audible gasps from our friends and family. They're so beautiful I can't contain myself. If I could get a higher rating than 'perfect' I would.

Hiring Blueflash Photography was THE BEST decision we made for our wedding! We used Blueflash for photography, videography, and uplighting, and cannot say enough great things about them. From the first time we reached out to them, Britt was thorough, responsive, and so helpful, even sending examples of their work from the venue where we were getting married. Our lead photographer Matt helped to make our day perfect, directing a HUGE 40 person wedding party quickly while still getting great shots. It was important to me to really capture the day, and not have so many posed photos. The candid shots that he and Fred got were all so beautiful. I am a singer in a wedding band, and was nervous about having a videographer as I have seen time and again that they can be insanely intrusive and overwhelming. Nate was amazing, and I barely even noticed the three of them were there photographing and videoing us, but when I was in a moment and thought “I hope they are getting this on film,” I would look around and they’d be right there every time. The finished product of the photos and videos are so beautiful, five months later I am still getting compliments on how great they look! Even after the wedding was over, they were more than accommodating with all of our video and photography editing requests and continue to help us through the process of selecting photos for albums and thank you cards. From start to finish they have exceeded our expectations. We cannot thank them enough for such a perfect day!

Choosing to work with Blueflash was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. From day one, the entire team was attentive and accommodating, and truly went the extra mile to make sure my husband and I felt taken care of and prioritized. Everything about our experience with the Blueflash Team exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. They are true professionals, but also super down to earth and so easy to work with. Right from the beginning, we had such a pleasant experience working with Britt, who is super organized and did a great job setting the stage and answering all our questions. Emily and Fred were truly amazing and captured some of the best shots from our wedding day. My husband and I are very laid back people and aren't typically into pictures, but wanted to make sure we captured all of the important shots of family and friends that we would always be able to look back on. Initially we didn't think we could afford it, but they were willing to help us create a package that was within our budget and Britt was so responsive to all my emails and questions. Nate was our videographer and he was amazing! Not only did our highlight video come out better than we could have imagined, he has such a great personality and made us feel totally comfortable. We are so happy that we decided to get a wedding highlight video and it really captured all the special moments throughout our day. Bluefash did an amazing job. Britt the owner is so professional, organized, and sweet. She really doesn't miss a beat. She made me feel taken care of all the way to the end. The two photographers she sent Emily and Kiersten were saints. Emily was so thorough. She caught every moment but also knew how to be discrete. I can't thank her enough for being patient with me when I lost my cool. She also knew how to style every photo, her eye is amazing. Kiersten had to deal with the boys and she was able to really capture the fun they bring to the table. When the two were together they were like a dream team. They really got things done. I honestly can't thank them enough for their amazing work.

We also had the bluecube which was a lot of fun and a party favorite. The props were great the set up was subtle and people really had a great time with it.

I would definitely recommend Blueflash to anyone with a wedding of any size or formality. They are well worth it and their price is also very fair.

Blueflash was amazing! We used their Videography service for our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, they were always responsive and very organized. They were also extremely friendly and took some stress off of me leading up to the wedding! On the day of our wedding, you couldn't even tell that they were there. They stayed out of the way, but I could tell they were getting some amazing footage. Our highlight video and the documentary were breathtaking, and it was worth every penny!

We rented the blue cube for our wedding ! The photo booth is a popular option for events so we decided to do this for our wedding!
We loved it and so did all of our guest!
It's great for all ages, my grandparents, daughter, toddlers everyone loved it !
The quality of the pictures are AMAZING !
The guy whom set the blue cube up was so nice and found the best spot he could for the blue cube at our venue !

From beginning to end, the Blueflash Photography team was the friendliest, kindest, and most professional wedding vendor we dealt with. We had a unique request about 6 months before our wedding when my Dad fell ill and we needed to have a small ceremony before our big day (he was gravely ill and there was a chance he wasnt going to be at our wedding 6 months later). Blueflash dropped everything and came to the small ceremony, capturing priceless memories. Then we got to do it all over again in November! (AND my Dad was there for that as well!) Dad has since passed away, but his gift of two weddings, and two opportunities to dance with him as a bride are now fully captured as photos thanks to Blueflash! We seriously can't thank you enough!

My wife and I could not have had a more positive experience in working with Blueflash. Immediately upon our first meeting with Emily, we knew we had made the right choice in hiring Blueflash for our wedding photography. What can I say about Blueflash except that they are the BEST!!! I could not wait to write my review for Matt from BlueFlash Photography. Photography was something VERY important to us when planning our wedding. It is the only thing left after the wedding day and we knew we had to hire the BEST photographer possible. We researched multiple photographers and got quotes from each. Matt was a true professional from the start. I knew after meeting with him for 5 minutes that we would hire him as our wedding photographer. We hired two photographers, both Matt and Emily.

Throughout the craziness of our wedding day, Matt was calm and went above and beyond to ensure we got the best pictures possible. We got married on a VERY chilly March day at OceanCliff in Newport. Matt knew all the best spots to take pictures and when the lighting was just perfect. He even gave me his own jacket to keep warm as we moved from spot to spot! Talk about going above and beyond! Throughout the day Matt worked with my very crazy and loud family, and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted. After all the traditional pictures were taken, Matt was sure to take candids of the guests and of everyone dancing!

We got our pictures about two weeks after we got married. I am currently working with Matt on creating a photo album of all our amazing photos. I could NOT be more pleased with our pictures! They are absolutely breathtaking...I've gotten compliments that they should be in wedding magazines! We look back at our pictures and cannot stop smiling! We are so pleased with all the candids of our guests having a blast at our wedding. Matt was sure to get all the little details of our wedding that we worked so hard on. I personally think its those little details that make a difference, but those details are also easily forgotten in years to come so I am so happy Matt captured all of them with such style!

I can not recommend Blueflash Photography (specifically Matt) highly enough. As soon as we met with Matt, we knew he was exactly what we wanted. He even provided suggestions about when we should start the ceremony based on sunlight. On the day of the wedding, Matt showed up exactly when he said he would and was with us throughout the whole day. He captured every moment without being intrusive. Blueflash took the most incredible pictures and even had some reason to display on an ipad at the reception. In the following month Matt emailed us hundreds of pictures all of which were incredible. We chose about 100 for an album (it was so hard to narrow it down). When we went to pick it up, we were speechless at how amazing everything came out. Everyone that sees the album is so impressed. From the start, Blueflash was the perfect fit for our wedding. We primarily worked with Emily, who responded to our initial inquiries and any other questions along the way promptly and thoroughly. She understood what we were looking for with our photos, and the results were more than we could have asked for. During our first meeting, Emily said that she and the other photographer would be like ninjas, and she was right.

Emily and Brian worked with us on the day of our wedding, and we received many comments about how efficient and quiet they were. We did our photos prior to the ceremony, and they made it painless for our wedding party and family. My husband and myself are not serious individuals, and despite our constant breakdowns into laughter, Emily put up with us and got so many beautiful shots in the process.

We were married at the Glen Manor House, and the weather was drizzly and cold- but Emily and Brian used the beauty of the building instead of the outdoors (which you usually see in pictures from there) and it made for some fantastic and different photos. The turnaround on getting our photos was quick, and we have received nothing but compliments from everyone who sees them.

We also used the uplighting through Blueflash, which really set the tone for the night. It was a painless process and we didn't have to worry about a thing!

The BlueCube was one of my favorite aspects of my wedding, the photos came out amazing and my guests used it all night. Our experience with Blueflash was so amazing! First off, Matt and Emily took the trip up to Boston to take our engagement photos at Fenway park, which turned out so amazing, I can't imagine that anyone else would have done as good of a job.

At our wedding we had Blueflash join us for photography, videography and the Bluecube. Matt and Kearsten took the most gorgeous photos, and we loved seeing some of the same day shots at the reception. When we got our photos back they were truly amazing and captured all of the best parts of our day. Our video was also great, and they were somehow able to capture all of the important moments of the day in an 8 minute video that we cannot watch enough times. The Bluecube was so much fun to have at the reception, and we were so to get a copy of all of the photos.

Our experience with Blueflash was so great that when we picked up our albums we were upset that everything was finished. We could not have asked for a better group of people to capture our day - Blueflash is the best!

I fell in love with Blueflash's style the second I came across their website. I did a lot of research and other photographers were either WAY out of the price range or took cheesy photos. I met Matt at the convention center bridal show, and after the first handshake, I knew this is who I wanted capturing our day. There were so many details and decor I missed since the day just flew by, but Blueflash was able to capture all of it in the most artistic way. Matt responded to every email very quickly. He even noticed a scheduling conflict in my timeline and offered a few suggestions to fix it. Friends and family who were part of group pictures commented on how professional, creative, and organized Matt and his team were. No one even noticed the videographer which allowed him to capture the best candid shots without feeling like "you're being watched". The pictures came out amazing --obviously, and the video makes me cry every time I watch it. I recommend Blueflash for any photography and video needs. If you are looking for a videographer save yourself some time and hire Blueflash!! I know everyone says this but we weren't originally going to get a videographer due to budget reasons but decided to just go ahead and book it the month before the wedding. Matt is one of the most responsive wedding vendors I worked with it. From about a year before the wedding when I was unsure about video to the month leading up he always stayed in touch and if I did have any questions answered them right away. I live in NC so couldn't meet in person but it really wasn't a problem since Matt was so on top of communication.

Dan was my videographer extrodinare on wedding day. He was friendly and not intrusive at all. I went to a wedding this weekend and the videographer had huge tripods blocking all sorts of things during the wedding ceremony (not to mention these huge video cameras). Not Dan and Blueflash, they use small cameras and manage to blend in with the crowd. They get all the scenes that you would want without blocking guest views I got married three months ago and still enjoy watching my wedding video wayyy too much.

Blueflash Photography is the absolute best!

My husband and I hired Blueflash for photography services and also wedding event coordination. Matt Celeste shot our engagement shoot and was the lead photographer on our wedding day. He is such a great person to work with; he is so nice and easy going, and professional. Matt has no problem tackling what may seem like a crazy shot! At our venue, he balanced on two dock rails so as to get an amazing picture of us, with our wedding party, all in a straight line. Throughout the entire process, from when we hired Blueflash to the end of our wedding night, Matt answered all my questions (I had many!) and just brought his overall artistry and style to our pictures. My husband and I are so pleased with the photos!

Our day of coordinator was Brittney Kosiba; she attended our rehearsal to help guide everyone and also was there from morning until midnight on our wedding day. Matt has always been incredibly timely in his communications, and even when my wedding timeline got derailed after a late hair appointment, he managed to keep everyone (including me!) calm, and managed to capture more beautiful photos than two terribly unphotogenic people could have imagined.

Also, if you're on the fence about a photobooth JUST DO IT! There were so many people at the wedding that we didn't get staged photos of (who has time for that if you're actually enjoying your wedding guest's company?!) and not only was the photobooth fun for guests, but we also got so many hilarious photos of our friends who we would have otherwise missed.

In summary, the Blueflash team is one of those vendors that is SO good that it's hard to write a review that feels like it even remotely captures how many things they did that exceeded our expectations. We're so happy we picked them and we'll recommend them to anyone!

I was lucky enough to see Blueflash Photography's work in two instances prior to my wedding (a beautiful fall wedding and a beautiful/freezing cold winter wedding). So happy we chose Blueflash. Matt and his team were always responsive to our questions and willing to work with us to come up with the best plan for photography and videography for our day. The photos are beautiful. We debated about getting videography, thinking it was more for our parents than for us, but in the end we LOVED it and are so glad we chose to have the day captured in that manner. We also had the Blue Cube photo booth which was tons of fun, and we got to keep and share all the digitals from those photos as well!

We hired Blueflash for their awesome Bluecube and cinematography on our wedding day and we honestly could not have been happier with our decision to do so. Matt is a wonderful business owner and always responded to our emails within a few hours, answered any and all of our questions, and made sure we had appropriately filled out the wedding planner so things would go smoothly on our big day.

Our friends and family loved the Bluecube at the reception, and we used the photos in our guest book so we can enjoy the fun memories for years to come. Andrew spent all night making sure that the photos were taped securely in the book and made sure to grab me and my husband for a final photo before he left.

We hesitated a lot about hiring a videographer, but we're SO glad we hired Blueflash. Nate did an absolutely fantastic job with our video-- I was blown away by the quality of his work and professionalism. He was discrete, but got all the right shots--AND he came early and stayed late in order to cover everything. It's wonderful having these memories recorded in such a beautiful way. Several weeks after out wedding, Matt went above and beyond by honoring our request for the unedited clips so we could re-watch all of our vows and the speeches at the reception.

We got married in the middle of the polar vortex and the day after a major blizzard! Matt and Amanda were awesome to work with and the FREEZING weather and snow didn't stop them, but instead made for some great ideas that turned into AWESOME photos! Friends and family loved them! And a few ended up booking with them as well! I highly recommend Blueflash!

Matt and his crew at Blueflash were the perfect addition to our team of wedding vendors. My husband and I knew immediately following our first meeting that we wanted Blueflash for our wedding. Aside from the shared affinity for a certain brand of sneakers (worn by Matt and my husband) Matt was so easy going and we could tell from looking at all of his samples that he had a similar eye and aesthetic as the two of us. We also liked the fact that they offered other services, limiting the number of different vendors we would have to manage. We used Blueflash for photography, cinematography, and their BlueCube photobooth. They were absolutely amazing and we loved everything. At times we called Matt and Emily the photo ninjas. They would pop up in places and we had no idea how they had gotten there. The cinematographer, Dan, was also great. He managed to capture all of the little moments that you thought no one saw. One thing I thought was wonderful is that Matt encouraged my husband and I to bring our families to the photo viewing. It made for a great evening and it was special to be able to share that moment with them... almost as if it were an extension of the wedding. The team at Blueflash really felt like an extension of our family at the wedding, at that was exactly what were looking for in our vendors. We are so happy that we have them as our photographers for life. Thank you for being part of our wedding!

Blueflash photography came recommended by my sister. They had done photography and an extremely successful photobooth at their wedding. We hired them for the photobooth services at our wedding. They printed up two copies of each strip per group and collected one of each pair for us!! The quality is great, and they're all very friendly and responsive as well! And they are open to your additional props :-)

We went back and forth on hiring someone to film our wedding and figuring out if we could fit it in the budget. We stumbled upon a great offer from Blueflash and that was it, we knew we had to hire them and are so glad we did! We had the pleasure of having Nathan at Blueflash film our wedding, never having met him before the big day and he was fantastic! He was never in the way and we hardly knew we were being filmed. He somehow caught every great moment on film and it was so fun to look back on our wedding day and catch details that we didn't remember or even see! When we got the video (and even today) we watched it on repeat. IT IS SO GOOD. We were sitting here laughing and crying and feeling so thankful
that he captured our entire wedding day so perfectly in 7 minutes.
Nathan is so talented, he exceeded any and all expectations we had and we
are thrilled with the result. The footage is perfect and rounds out a beautiful day on the farm. I feel like I am there again every time I watch the film. We recommend Blueflash and Nathan 100%! Worth every penny.

I want to thank Matt and the Blueflash Photography staff for a simply AMAZING day and a wonderful experience. Blueflash took both my engagement and wedding pictures, and both came out simply stunning. Matt has an incredible eye, and a pure talent to produce gorgeous pictures. While we had more "traditional" photos, my favorites were the more contemporary and "in the moment" shots that really captured the feelings of that day.

I also had the pleasure of having Blueflash provide cinematography for the wedding. The finished product was beautiful. It truly encapsulated the whole day into a few minutes of pure emotion. I have probably watched it 100 times and inevitably tear up with each viewing. I am so thankful to have both the pictures and the video as a reminder of how perfect that day was.

Not only is Matt a good friend but is also our family photographer. He has taken many pictures of us from maternity, newborn, to Father's Day to family pictures. He always works with you to set up the best time that works for both parties. He's very layer back, always giving ideas and so easy to work with. A few months back Matt did our family pictures. The day didn't exactly start off as planned. Our daughter wasent feeling well and wanted nothing to do with having her picture taken, it was extremely humid outside and we forgot all snacks/drinks at home. I didn't think we would get a lot of good shots, but Matt was awesome!!!! He was so patient, took extra time with us and gave us more pictures than we ever thought. They were simply breathtaking and beautiful! We were blown away by how amazing they came out. We will not be switching photographers,ever! I can't wait to start planning out next session.

Blueflash provided the photo booth for our 8th grade semi-formal dance. To say the Bluecube was a hit is a giant understatement. The students (and teachers) LOVED it and the line to have their photos taken was out the door all night. The Bluecube operator, Andrew, was awesome and had a great rapport with the kids. We will be hiring the Bluecube again in the future.

I was looking for a photographer that would capture our wedding in natural and unique moments, and that is exactly what I found with Blueflash. I am not a big fan of having my picture taken or being the center of attention, so I was a bit anxious. However, right from our first meeting with Matt, but my fiancé and I felt so incredibly comfortable with the whole process. He was very patient, helping us choose the right package for us, and answered each and every question that we had. On the day of the wedding, Matt and his assistant Amanda, were wonderful. They were professional, friendly and very accommodating, happy to take any special shots we requested and in many different settings ( our wedding was at The Roger Williams Park Casino, so there are quite a lot of options!).
A little while after our wedding, we received an invitation from Matt to come to his beautiful studio to view all the pictures in a slideshow with our families. This was such a special touch! We loved the experience, and had fun reliving the day. We were given all our photos on a flash drive, and from there, we decided to order an album. It was very difficult to narrow down the pictures, but we finally did, and a few weeks later we received our gorgeous album. We couldn't be happier with it.
Matt and Amanda are truly talented photographers. All of our photos were more than beautiful-vivid, rich, and natural, capturing our wedding in moments that moved like a story. When I look at the pictures, I still cannot believe that they are from our wedding, and not a bridal magazine.
We are so lucky to have found Blueflash to photograph our day. We HIGHLY recommend them for any future brides and groom out there!!

This review is in regards to our engagement photography session with our future wedding photographer, Jess. We had a great time meeting with Jess and spending the day taking photos throughout Boston. Jess was open to our many thoughts and ideas and had great spontaneous ideas of her own! The photos came out fantastic and truly captured "us"! Blueflash Photography was a wonderful vendor to work with when planning our wedding - they were incredibly timely and professional in all communication, and were great at the wedding, all of our guests had a blast. And, by the end of the night my husband and I hadn't gotten to the photobooth once, and the Blueflash representative manning the booth came over to us to make sure we got in at least one session before the end of the wedding. It was so thoughtful, and we appreciate it so much.

Jessica did a wonderful job on both our engagement pictures and Wedding pictures. Shes was very creative and professional. We have a huge family and they are hard to deal with but she was calm, cool and collected :) I would recommend her to anyone. Its a shame she moved away! Rhode Island just gained a great photographer.

Jessica did our engagement photos, and we love them so much, she helped arrange with props, and had fun unique ideas to make our engagement pictures extra special! Jessica was absolutely amazing to work with! I had her do our engagement pictures and I felt that she really captured who we are as a couple. It can sometimes be awkward posing for pictures, like you aren't sure how it will turn out, but she made the both of us feel totally comfortable and our pictures were beautiful! From the moment I looked at Blueflash’s website I loved every single picture and knew we had to get Matt for our wedding! Matt was great to work with throughout the entire process. He is extremely responsive and always got back to us immediately. Matt can beautifully photograph the classic wedding shots however where I found other photographers lacking, Matt excels in capturing the true essence of the wedding day from start until finish. Most of the day I didn’t even notice Matt working however he was there for every moment. He has an excellent eye and I can honestly say my husband and I love every single picture he captured. Blueflash Photography did a FAMILY/MATERNITY PHOTO SHOOT of my husband , my 2 yr, and myself. First, I want to say that the photos Matt took came out PERFECT. Blueflash's style is artistic and captured the real moments of my life at this time. We took the photos at Brown University and Thayer street. This was such a good, out of the box idea. There were many architectural places that made for very interesting pictures. Trying to get a 2 yr old to cooperate for pictures is always difficult, but Matt knew how to get Grant to focus and didn't care about taking extra time when Grant needed a minuet. Looking at these pictures makes me feel so beautiful being so pregnant! Matt was always easy yo get a hold of to ask any questions. I received the photos less than 2 weeks after taking them! It seems that when ever we have gotten professional picture taken, I have always been some what displeased with the photos after. With Blueflash I WAS EXCITED AND HAPPY WITH EVERY SHOT I received back. I know this will not be the only time we use Blueflash to capture our life.

We are thrilled about the wonderful experience we had with Blueflash Photography. Matt Celeste was terrific to work with and our photos are gorgeous. We used him for our engagement session and wedding and we are sure to be lifetime clients.

Here are some reasons why you should work with Matt.

1. He's an experienced and accomplished photographer but he's still always pushing to be better. He has the technical skills and creative talent that result in amazing images.

2. He's like a ninja of photography. He is spry and flexible so he can squat in tight places and get the best shot. He has good balance and will use it to his advantage. And best of all, he is stealthy so you don't even notice him as he is capturing the candid/beautiful/fun/emotional moments of your big day.

We used Blueflash for our wedding and engagement photos and were extremly pleased!!! I would highly recommend Matt. We also rented the Bluecube for the wedding and used the photos for our guestbook. Blueflash Photography is the BEST! Matt was great to work with the day of my wedding. He was incredibly energetic, professional and creative. I had planned my wedding events down to the minute and as every wedding, goes mine fell behind. Matt was able to go with the flow of everything. His efficient shooting and giving of directions to a wild bridal party (5 kids under 5) helped a ton and brought our schedule close to normal.

My husband and I love our pictures! I can honestly say there is something special about each one. When looking for a photographer I did not want super traditional, stiff posing shots and a humdrum photographer behind the camera. Matt is not those things. He has a great eye and a fun personality. He drove us away from our reception venue to somewhere close by in the park for an intimate shoot of just my husband and I. The look and feel was just what I wanted. He did a beautiful job!

So, if you need a fun, artful and reasonable photographer for your wedding or any other event Blueflash Photography is it!
