Flawless!!

If you want the best soundtrack for your special day, Black Tie Entertainment is the only option. Bill and Mike are the absolute best! They make the process so easy! They really take their time with the initial interview to make sure they not only get to know you but also understand the vision and the vibe for the big day!
Their professionalism and talent is unmatched! DJ Mike executed the entire day flawlessly! Transitioning from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception was seamless. Once the formalities were over and it was time to party, DJ Mike had all the right mixes! People of all ages were on the dance floor from start to finish. Even the slow songs were perfectly placed to keep the party going! The mixes he came up with were amazing!

Excellent Service, Very Friendly and Accommodating!

I 100% recommend Black Tie Entertainment and their services!

We booked BTE for videography and their Photo Booth. My sister used their Photo Booth service and I loved the quality of the photos, the open-air style (instead of the small enclosed booths). Comes with fun props and an assortment of backgrounds and prints to choose from. What I especially appreciated from the booth attendant at our wedding is she knew to stop myself and my groom so we could take a set of photos together, just the two of us. Had she not said anything, we never would've gotten a set of pictures snapped for ourselves!

Bill was our videographer and was incredible. Not only was he a true professional, he was also very accommodating and responsive. I requested the raw footage (for a small fee), so I have not yet seen the reel they are making for us, but the assortment of incredible shots and footage he captured has us so excited for the final product. It's amazing how much Bill captured as one person working the entirety of the wedding. He captured some artistic shots and super fun moments with family and friends attending our big day.

Very happy bride

Bill is incredible! Not only is he amazing at what he does, he’s also a good person. He is extremely professional and got everyone on the dance floor! He listened to all of our requests and mixed in similar songs. We are very picky with music and wanted more EDM and he gave us exactly what we were looking for along with the classics. The party could have lasted all night. I 10/10 recommend Black Tie for any event!

Hire Black Tie Entertainment, now!

If you are looking for the best DJ and entertainment in the area, then you have found it! Black Tie Entertainment is your vendor! They are incredible. Bill came highly recommended by our venue and other vendors. After our first call with him, we knew why. He was professional, organized and on his music game. We had a unique timeline and music choices, as my husband and I are both very into music. Bill understood it and knocked it out of the park. We also had him project our custom monogram onto the dance floor. We had multiple calls to review everything and he had everything in place and perfect for us. We are so grateful to have had him DJ for our wedding and be a part of our special day. The dance floor was constantly filled with our guests dancing, enjoying themselves, raving about the music and letting us know how cool our monogram looked. A great DJ to work with!

We hired Black Tie Entertainment for our wedding on 9/4/2021. Everything about the company was great. Bill kept in touch with us throughout the whole process, he responded to E-mails quickly and was always professional. We ended up having Mike as our DJ and again same result, he was great. We spoke several times before our big day to make sure everything was what we wanted from pronunciation of names, to clarifying our song choices and picking out music Mike was so great to work with. Fast forward to the day, Mike showed up early and had everything set up before guests arrived. Our family and friend are not big dancers but Mike got everyone out on the dance floor and having a great time. We are so glad we hired them for our wedding day.

Couldn't Ask For Anything Better

I can't speak highly enough about Black Tie Entertainment. They worked with us through multiple date and location changes eventually coming to Buffalo for our wedding.

Bill was great to work with in getting everything together and Jose was a fantastic DJ that kept the part going and did a great job reading the room. There was no break in the party at all.

We also used Black Tie for our photo booth and the attendant, Kyle was outstanding in keeping that running smoothly.

Definitely a top-notch company that I would suggest to anyone!

Above and Beyond

Bill and Black Tie Entertainment were amazing. Bill was so easy to work with before the wedding and the day of. He was helpful, professional, and really took the time to look at our requests and choose other songs that us and our guests would love. He also helped to edit my father-daughter song to take out a part that didn't quite fit so that the song would be exactly how I wanted it. Bill made sure to check in with us throughout the reception and made everything flow so smoothly! We got married in NYS in December 2020, so the regulations from the governor said we couldn't dance-- Bill handled this so well and still played songs that got everyone excited and engaged. I can't recommend Bill and Black Tie enough, he really helped make our wedding day perfect!

Absolutely Best DJ Service

Black Tie Entertainment was the most amazing DJ service! Our wedding was months ago and we still have guests telling us that they have never danced that much at a wedding ever before! The dance floor was packed ALL night!! Bill was super responsive with our inquiry and very helpful in planning out the night! Our DJ for the night was Jose! He was AMAZING!! He kept the reception running smoothly and on time and made sure we had all of our important moments captured before our photographer left! The music was awesome!!! We provided a list of some of our favorite songs and Jose filled in the rest with more great music that we loved! He completely read the room all night and kept everyone up and dancing until the very end!!! We couldn’t be happier with our choice! And so thankful to Black Tie and Jose for the best night!!!

Thanks Bill & Black Tie!

We used Black Tie Entertainment for our wedding in December 2019 and were so glad we did. We don’t live in the Syracuse area, so we weren’t able to meet Bill until the day of our wedding, but we always felt like we were in good hands with him and Black Tie. From our first phone call with Bill about 7 months before the wedding, we felt really comfortable with Bill. He listened to all of our thoughts and concerns, and gave helpful recommendations when we asked for them (i.e. timing and order of events during our reception).

Most importantly, Bill & Black Tie exceeded our expectations the night of our wedding. We had mentioned to Bill that we wanted our reception to be lively with lots of dancing, and that’s exactly what happened. We received so many comments from our guests about how the DJ did a great job keeping the party going, and the dance floor was full almost the whole night. Additionally, Bill was very accommodating of our requests even on the day of the wedding. We had a couple last minute changes to the order of events and he said it was no problem and made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We also asked him during the reception if he could play a couple songs that we had forgotten to request ahead of time, and he was able to fit them all in.

We are so happy that we used Bill & Black Tie for our wedding! Thanks guys for a wonderful night!!!

Great Experience

All of my other vendors recommended Black Tie to us, so we had high expectations from the start. Bill and team absolutely met our expectations - from suggestions during the planning phase, plenty of pre-event communication, to the actual reception itself. Our guests had such a wonderful time, and the music was calibrated perfectly throughout the evening. Bill was a great emcee, and kept the order of events moving smoothly while checking in with us throughout the night. The uplighting option is absolutely worth it, and the candlelight hue we chose gave the reception room a great ambiance. Highly recommend!

Bill was wonderful to work with! He provided uplighting and DJ services for our ballroom reception and he surpassed our expectations. He made time to meet with us and check in with us throughout the planning process and he stuck to our music preferences and helped keep the evening running on a seamless schedule. He was friendly and professional and knew exactly when to provide suggestions based on his experience and he did not steer us wrong at all. Wonderful 50th Anniversary Party

We were very pleased with Bob and the music he played the night of our 50th anniversary party, at the Genesee Grande. The music was perfect for what we wanted. People commented how much they enjoyed the music and how they were able to talk without having the music drowning out their voices. They also loved the fact that Bob was able to take requests and play great music for dancing. I didn’t realize how important having the right DJ was until that night. Fantastic service

We had to be the most indecisive and clueless couple when it came to music for our reception. Our only request was no country music. They helped us choose the ideal style of music for the reception and did not play a single country song. We also rented a photobooth for the reception and it was a hit! Guests received print outs of the photos and my husband and I received a USB with all the photobooth photos on it as well, which was fantastic for us to cherish and guests to choose their favorite individual ones. They made everything so easy and provided so much fun to us and our guests!

Amazing DJ, Easy to work with

Bill and his team are AMAZING. They were so easy to work with, and very helpful. Everything ahead of time was wonderful. Bill was very responsive and did a great job answering any questions that we had. We got so many compliments on how amazing our DJ was. There were people on the dance floor all night. It was the perfect combination of music that worked for all of the guests at our wedding. Our parents and older guests had some fun and classic hits that they loved but there were also newer songs that we loved and our younger guests enjoyed. The music at the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception was all fantastic. Bill was on top of keeping things on schedule. He did a great job always checking in with us throughout the night, he was so professional and incredible. The uplighting was beautiful and was a really nice touch to the wedding. Thank you Bill!!

We held our wedding at BVB and cannot recommend it enough. It is an absolutely beautiful venue - the area, the view, the trees, the pond, and of course the space itself. The inside of the barn is gorgeous and the owner has updated it nicely and kept it well maintained. We had countless comments from guests about how unbelievable the venue was. The process of visiting and making the arrangements for the wedding was very seamless. The owner, Kari, is very accommodating, professional, and easy to work with. Throughout the planning stages and on the actual day of, she was tremendous to work with. She truly made every effort to ensure that our day went off without any issues. Overall we were so pleased with Best View Barn and we would easily recommend the venue a thousand times over.

We recently had Bob DJ our wedding on Saturday 9/22/18 and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him!
When we first met with Bill (the owner) at our original meeting, we instantly were sold. He was so personable and we knew we were in good hands. We did not know who exactly was going to DJ our wedding until a few weeks before the wedding and I knew the instant I spoke with Bob that we liked him already. We struggled with some song choices during our initial meeting with Bob and he even texted me on several occasions with song choice recommendations that came into his head at random times. That was so appreciative and he made me feel like not as another bride. We also had a strict "no music older than the 80's" request for our reception music and he ensured that what we requested is what we got! He had such high energy and the dance floor was packed all night! I was worried that the introductions were going to sound too rehearsed or announced just because of experiences we have had with DJ's at other weddings, however Bob was the perfect happy medium. He played every song on our "to play list", introductions went smoothly and no names were pronounced incorrectly. He played our ceremony music also which turned out exactly what we wanted. I cannot think of even one single thing that went wrong.
Booking Black Tie was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding and our special day would definitely not have been as perfect if it weren't for Bob. Thank you so so much, we are forever grateful!!

Bill and Bob were not only incredibly easy to work with, but ensured everything was perfect that day. Things I wouldn't have thought of during the night like "do I really want to interrupt dancing for a bouquet toss," were handled by Bob with ease. I planned my wedding from across the country and Bill was super responsive with email and we got the chance to meet the week before which was amazing. We had a choreographed surprise first dance and timing, sound quality, everything was perfect. There's nothing I hate more than a dj who loves the sound of his own voice and just talks the whole night haha- Bob knew what to say to get the party going, played the right songs to ensure that everyone was on the dance floor, and kept it entertaining. He stayed an extra hour no questions asked which was amazing. Thank you black tie!!

Black Tie Entertainment was seriously amazing to work with leading up to our wedding and on the wedding day! Bill was our main contact for planning and was our DJ/MC for the reception. We live out of state but he met with us in person on the one weekend we were in town to go over how we wanted the reception structured, what kind of music we wanted, etc. We did our reception in a non-traditional order and Bill handled it really well. We also gave him some custom music tracks for our first dances and he had no issues making those special accommodations for us. He made sure to play everything off of our "favorites" song list and also took a reasonable amount of requests from guests. He ended the night with the perfect song that had all the guests standing around in a circle, swaying and belting out the words! We also booked an open air photo booth which was a huge hit with our guests and was totally worth the extra money. At the end of the night we got a flash drive with all the raw photos and my parents ended up framing the photo booth photos as Christmas presents to our family and friends which they loved! So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding they had been to, and I credit a lot of that to how much fun Bill & BTE made our reception experience. If BTE is available on your wedding day, there's no question about it - you should absolutely hire them!

BTE is one of the best DJ’s we have ever heard and worked with! For my sister’s wedding they were amazing and still held that bar high after our wedding. Bob and Bill were incredible to work with and really understood the vision for our wedding. BTE is the way to go if you're planning a wedding! They Dj'd a couple of wedding we had been too and did a great job. So when it was our turn to plan, they were our first contact. After our first initial meeting, I felt completely comfortable with him and trusted things would be great. One less thing to worry about!

Bill did such a great job! Everything went smoothly and he kept us on time as much as possible. He did a great job keeping our requests and not playing certain genres or songs. Bill set an easy and comfortable atmosphere for both the ceremony and the reception. He was very easy to work with and made our dance party a great one!

My husband and I booked Black Tie Entertainment for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! From start to finish, Bill was so insightful and made every last detail amazing. Bill himself DJed our wedding and did an absolutely awesome job! He took our (rather long) list of songs we wanted played and mixed in songs that fit right in. We never wanted to leave the dance floor! Along with the DJ service, we booked a photo booth and videographer through Black Tie Entertainment. Of all the decisions I made for my wedding day, I am especially thankful for this one! Black Tie Entertainment was amazing to work with! Leading up to the wedding, they were very flexible, accommodating and easy to work with. The day of our wedding, I did not have to worry at all. Bill took care of everything, from lining up our wedding party, to navigating our toasts and speeches, to the music that kept our wedding going all night! I had the best time. Dancing and music was an important expense to me in the wedding planning process, and I do not regret going with Black Tie Entertainment. My family also purchased uplighting and the photo booth from Black Tie Entertainment as a surprise and it was wonderful! The uplighting was stunning, and the photo booth was so much fun. I loved having those pictures to remember. The night goes by so fast, and your photographer can only capture so much. My guests were raving about the music and the photo booth! Loved them! I had to plan this from out of state, and they were super easy to get a hold of and coordinate over the phone with. I don't have the best taste in music, so I think I gave him a tough time for him to select music, but he nailed it at my wedding reception. He read the room and knew what to play and when (ex. lighter happier, easy to listen to music during the dinner hour, and then transitioning to awesome dance mixes after dinner and when more people were dancing) His MC services were great as well. Definitely would recommend.

Bob was what every wedding needs for a DJ! He took the time to read through our profile and have pre-wedding meetings to give us the exact vibe we wanted for the dance part of the reception. Our dance floor was packed from the first second we got the party started to the last when everyone was belting out Don't Stop Believing. When you live 6 hours away from your wedding venue, finding a good DJ was quite the trial UNTIL we found Bill at Black Tie. As soon as my husband spoke with him-we knew we wanted no one else. He listened to our requests, played everything and kept to the style we asked for. Everyone said what a wonderful emcee he was! Well spoken, hard working and darn good at his job-Bill you are the BEST! We also used the photobooth services they offered. BTE was amazing at our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night long and everyone had a blast. We couldn't imagine a better, more fun evening. They are very detail oriented and had thought of everything. They're willing to give advice and input (which is nice, because they've obviously been to a lot more weddings than most of us), but were in no way pushy. Everything was truly amazing. Bill, and his company BTE, was an absolute pleasure to work with! He gave us the party of our dreams. He also made our ceremony perfectly constructed since we did not do a traditional church wedding. I handpicked all the music for the crtemony and he totally let me take control to bring to life the vision I had. It was an epic success. We feel so lucky to have had him as out DJ! My husband & I were torn whether or not we wanted to go with a DJ or a live band, but we were so happy we chose a DJ! Black Tie Entertainment & Bill were absolutely amazing! In our meetings together, he made sure to go over each & every detail with us, perfect what song version we wanted, as well as how to pronounce our bridal party & family members names. Before our wedding day, I never realized that DJ-ing is a science, but it truly is! Bill knew exactly what songs to play when, whether it was getting the older couples out on the dance floor with a few older or slow songs, or ones to keep the younger crowds out there. The dance floor was packed the entire evening!! He strictly adhered to our play & do-not play list & was professional as well.

We also booked our videographer through BTE & WOW!!!! We received our video 2 weeks after our summer wedding & it was worth every penny. Ken was unobtrusive the entire evening, but him & his 5 cameras that were set up, captured every moment from before the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, & until the very end of the reception (minus dinner.) We loved watching many of the moments we had missed & the quality was INCREDIBLE. He also works closely with the DJ to ensure that the mics feed into his cameras--super important because you can then hear all of your music & every word of your ceremony!

Bill was amazing to work with from start to finish. He is truely so talented at what he does. He is very organized, professional, and a blast to work with! He definetley knows how to run the show! The dance floor was never empty as he played music that everybody from all ages got up to move their feet. Absolutely amazing DJ service. Our DJ was fun and really hit it on the head, he played exactly what we wanted without having to give a detailed list of each song. He knows when to switch it up and kept the party going. Everything was perfect!
We also had the photo booth and we couldnt be happier. We have copies of all of the HD photos from the night all the props really made it fun! We have other weddings in this family coming up and we will definitely book them again!

Black Tie Entertainment was one of the best choices we made for our wedding day! Bill was incredible to work with and kept the dance floor full the entire night, which was exactly what we hoped would happen! Bill was also very accommodating. At the last minute, we were in need of ceremony music as our live musician did not work out. Bill was able to be there, find the music we wanted, and provide the services needed. He also checked in with us throughout the night to see if we needed anything. When we met with him, he had our first dance song playing as we walked into his house. What a nice, thoughtful touch! He found the version we wanted and he made sure music was cued to the right start times and ended in the best spot. I would use this service again if necessary. Bill is a wonderful, professional, accommodating, thoughtful person!

I would recommend no one else. We ended up using the same DJ that my husband's sister used at her wedding ten years ago! Bill and Jim were both very professional and we had Jim as our DJ. They met our requests and built a relationship with us. Jim made our wedding a blast. Definitely a great choice.

Black Tie Entertainment did an amazing job at our wedding. They talked with us to make sure they knew the vibe of our wedding and really listened. My husband and I did not want a DJ that talked a lot throughout our wedding and Black Tie was great. We only chose 5 or 6 "must play songs" and our DJ was able to fill in the rest of the night with great songs that our whole wedding enjoyed. They also stayed completely away from all our "do not play" songs which I really appreciated! Our wedding was a fantastic dance party thanks to Black Tie and I would strongly recommend them as a wedding DJ!

Black Tie Entertainment provided DJ services, a photobooth and uplighting at our September wedding.
Bill, the owner, was so easy to work with. I sent him countless emails prior to even signing a contract with him and he always responded quickly.
The night of our wedding our DJ was Steve and he was awesome. He was so great at making the night what we wanted it to be... I made a few last minute changes and he never once made me feel like I was being a pain or making things difficult for him. He was upbeat and energetic and had the crowd dancing the ENTIRE night! He played a great blend of music from all genres and decades to please everyone. Whats great about BTE is they have a whole page on the contract to songs you absolutely have to hear, ones you can't stand, genres you like, those you don't, etc....
We also contracted BTE for a photobooth and our guests couldn't get enough! If you do a photobooth I HIGHLY recommend putting out a book for your guest to leave you a copy (they get 2 printed copies right then and there) and write you a message- the pictures and the messages in that book are hysterical! People who you would think would never in a million years go into a photo booth did and did it with crazy props too!
Lastly, BTE did our uplighting and it looked gorgeous. Our venue was quite large and the dynamic lighting made the room look even more grand. We also had our names monogrammed on the dance floor and it just made everything look so classy!
5 stars all the way for BTE! I would recommend them to anyone!

My husband and I used Black Tie DJ Entertainment for our wedding and we were so happy with the outcome! Everyone seemed to have a great time at our wedding and I got tons of compliments on how great the music was. We had looked awhile for a DJ for our wedding and we decided to go with Black Tie DJ Entertainment after seeing all of their good reviews. I would have to say I loved how professional they were. They were very easy to get in contact with and they always returned my calls quickly. They showed up early at my wedding and I was impressed by how punctual they were. The music mixes were great. They played a wide variety, so there was really something for everyone. They also played songs that people could dance to, which made my wedding even more fun. I was really glad that we decided to go with Black Tie DJ Entertainment. I would recommend using them for a wedding. They are professional and provide great service. Highly recommend! They really made my wedding special.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Black Tie Entertainment! They did an absolutely fantastic job and went above and beyond to make our day special. We had several guests comment on how wonderful the DJ was throughout the night and even days following the wedding. Dj's are so much more than just music- so much thought was put into timing of speeches, our first dance- and it really made a huge difference on our big day. They were so great!

Bill was so helpful answering our questions and very responsive. Bob was our DJ for the wedding and made everything so easy for us. We spoke with him a few times and he very quickly knew the atmosphere we were going for at the reception. He gave us a lot of great suggestions and we felt totally comfortable going into the wedding.

Bob was SO helpful during the ceremony and reception- he helped coordinate with the pianist and the bridal party during the ceremony, and he checked in with us regularly during the reception to make sure everything was going as we had hoped, and helped keep us on track, time-wise! He worked very well with our other vendors to make sure that was flowing smoothly. He did all of this as well as playing great music all night! He knew the right mix of songs and genres to keep everyone happy and on the dance floor and easily mixed in all of our requests.

AMAZING! We were so happy with how all of our wedding turned out but I have to say it all stemmed from how great Black Tie Entertainment was! Their work did not go unnoticed! Everyone enjoyed the DJ which was also the guy I had met and been working with. Bill was a really great listener so when my fiance and I met with him he understood what we were looking for instantly and he delivered right on target. I thought that finding a DJ would be hard and that you would have to put all this extra time and effort into making 'play' and 'do not play' lists for the cocktail hour, dinner music and for the reception but I was completely wrong. Because he listened he knew exactly what kind of music we liked and didn't like and that's what he played. The dance floor was packed all night and we got so many compliments about both the photobooth and the DJ! They did an amazing job and we would recommend them to ANYONE that was looking for a DJ or photobooth. Truly a great value and they can deliver exactly what you envision.

BTE was perfect from the beginning! I saw them at a bridal show and set up a meeting..bill was very professional and easy to work with my husband and myself had no clue where to begin and he walked us through it offering recommendations along the way which was extremely helpful and appreciated..his set up at the reception looked great..we also had up lighting and spotlights on the cake and dance floor making the room look stunning! They were very thorough prior to the event, making sure they knew exactly how we wanted the night to unfold and making helpful suggestions. These guys were great, but make sure to verify who your actual DJ will be. We originally met with Bill and really liked him so we booked them, but then ended up having Mike. He was great too! Only thing was that we wanted our first dance to be split at a certain time which we provides, he forgot to do this. But he did keep a written list of songs in chronological order like I requested!

My sister and I both hired Black Tie Entertainment as our wedding DJ and we loved the service and music on both occasions. We both requested Bill as our DJ and he is truly the best DJ in the area. Not only is he the nicest guy, he has a unique ability to read a crowd to know what music he should play to keep a party going.

Bill was in constant communication with us before the wedding and during the wedding to make sure we were happy and enjoying the music.

Even though we had very different needs and wedding styles, Bill seamlessly catered to our individual musical tastes and the tastes of our guests. We both had many guests comment on how great our DJ was and how great the music was to keep people on the dance floor.

Bill and Phil were great to work with as we planned our wedding. Music was VERY important to my family. We had 2 separate meetings with Phil and Bill to discuss the style of music that we wanted. We had very specific music we wanted played. We had a group that we knew would want to spend the night on the dance floor and music we thought we make sure that this happened. Phil was great about playing all the music we wanted and adding in music that he felt would go with the style we wanted. I spent most of the evening on the dance floor and had an amazing time. Phil was great with requests, checking in with me about requests that went against the parameters we gave him (no Club music :) or anything cheese-y or "bad"). Overall it was everything we wanted! And we are picky, so that is saying a lot!!

Black Tie was awesome! Well before our wedding, Bill was responsive to email messages and through on the phone. They had an intuitive understanding of what people wanted to hear. All ages, 2yrs to 72yrs, were on the dance floor all night. They worked with us to understand what we wanted to hear, and what we didn't want to hear. We hired Black Tie after hearing them at another wedding. We had Bill DJ our wedding (a different DJ than we'd heard) and he lived up to and beyond our expectations! He spent alot of time with us before the wedding going over the type of music we wanted played (and, just as importantly, what we didn't want!) and stuck to that on the wedding day while also watching the mood of the room. He struck a perfect balance and kept the dance floor full all night. Many of our guests remarked that it was one of the best DJs they'd heard. They also were incredibly responsive to any of our last-minute changes. Bill was wonderful to work with and did a fantastic job!

My husband has very particular tastes in music, so he was nervous about hiring a DJ that might just blast top 40 songs and not be receptive to the music that he and our friends prefer. But both of us were completely won over by Bill and Ryan at Black Tie. Bill (who manages the business side) was amazing to work with - he really put us at ease and was able to describe the art behind reading a room full of people and responding to the music that gets people up and dancing. Bill suggested that we go with Ryan to DJ our event, and it was an excellent idea. Ryan was really familiar with all of the music my husband loves (from 80s pop-synth to indie rock to 90s Eurotrash) and he expressed a real delight in getting to play this music. Even better, he had the expertise to weave our musical preferences in with more familiar tunes that everyone would enjoy. In particular, we appreciated how flexible and responsive he was to both our needs (as they changed minute-to-minute on the night of) and the bigger goal of facilitating a really lively cocktail hour, chill dinner and rocking reception. Lots of friends and family were raving about his musical selections, understated presence and sense of humor.

TOP NOTCH!!! Bill and his team were nothing short of AMAZING! Our uplighting looked fantastic and captured exactly what we were looking for. I dont think our dance floor was empty once - he read the crowd and played accordingly - it was great. He was very attentive throughout the entire reception and was open to any suggestions we had during the planning process.

I cant sing enough praises for BTE! I recommend them for any of your event planning needs!!

My husband is very particular about his tastes in music and found Black Tie Entertainment great to work with. They let us come up with our own play list of music from our ceremony to our cocktail time to our dinner reception and to our dance music. They sat down with my husband, reviewed his list, made helpful suggestions and accommodated our tastes.
They were good about communicating with us through out the whole process. They have a very extensive music selection. For the rare song we needed that they didn't have they were easy to work with about getting the music to them for our ceremony.
The best part was that they worked with you in terms of your style. My husband and I are not big on wedding games and some other traditional elements and they made sure to do everything to make sure to stick to our wants while keeping their fun, playful style.

My fiance and I got married on New Years Eve and Bill was the DJ at the reception. He was fabulous!! He sat down with us before the wedding and went over all the options and got a feeling for what we wanted...and what we did not! He worked with us and accomodated our special music requests. He was very prompt in getting back to us and a true pleasure to work with. The night of our wedding he kept everyone on the dance floor ALL night. We also rented the photo booth which was a huge hit!! A week later people are still talking about it and the pics they got to take home! I would recommend Black Tie Entertainment to anyone! And also the photo booth!!

Our wedding reception was outstanding due to, in great part, Bill and Black Tie. Our dance room looked great with the uplighting. The lighting effects made the room look awesome. We were very appreciative of Black Tie in taking the to set them up. The monogram was perfect and really classed up the room as well.

Now for the photo booth...just about every single person at the wedding was absolutely amazed at the fact we had a photo booth. It was the biggest hit of the night behind the food and drinks of course. We had a blast with it.
We will be sure to recommend your company to other couples looking for a professional and accommodating company in your line of business. Thank you again Bill!

THE BEST. Bill is a total sweetheart. We knew certain things we wanted when we were first meeting with Bill that are a little "untraditional" in upstate NY. Bill got what we were saying immediately. When we got closer to the wedding, we had some different ideas for the introductions and a slideshow. What's great about Bill is he listens to your idea, then tells you he can do it, tells you from his own experience what might need to be adjusted (you won't realize it because you just think you have a fab idea) and then makes it all work seamlessly. The party was going all night long, we heard all the songs we wanted to hear and there were no lulls; something we were desperate to avoid. They are totally fab and I'd highly recommend!

I can not rave more about Black Tie Entertainment and Bill! Bill was very prompt and knowledgeable from the beginning. We chose Black Tie specifically because Bill was outgoing and personable. We also got up-lighting and a monogram through them. The monogram and lighting made my wedding. It was GORGEOUS! Bill provided the music for the ceremony as well and it was perfect. Going on to the reception he was amazing, I told him what I wanted and he defiantly delivered. Very sweet and professional person, he genuinely cares about his clients, I would recommend this company to anyone! Jim was our DJ with Black Tie Entertainment and he was outstanding! I had a specific list of music for our wedding reception and he accommodated to a tee, along with a few requests here and there. By the end of the night the dance floor was packed! I had guests complimenting our choice of DJ the entire night and our other vendors were inquiring the following week.

Bill with Black Tie Entertainment was the DJ at our July 2011 wedding. He was awesome! He kept the party going all night - we even extended the reception an extra hour. Bill met with us twice before the wedding to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. He gives you the opportunity to pick out songs that you want, as well as songs you definitely do not want.

Bill is very professional, and a great guy to work with. He checked in with us a couple of times during the reception to make sure we were happy with how things were going. I highly recommend booking Bill with Black Tie Entertainment as the DJ for your wedding.

Our guests spent most of the night on the dance floor thanks to Steve. He had guests of all ages dancing, including our grandparents (which was a shock to my family!!). And the best part was that we only had to give him a few guidelines and he picked music that made everyone happy. He was able to get everyone up and moving without be loud and obnoxious and we had many compliments about BTE from our guests. They were wonderful to work with and exceeded our expectations.

Bill and Mike were great to work with. Mike was our DJ for the night and he was very enthusiastic, fun, and "got the party started," even after working the entire day before doing our wedding. Black Tie responded to any of my emails and concerns and were very helpful in organizing the bridal party and order of things. We incorporated Turkish music throughout our reception and Mike was very flexible and more than willing to step out of his comfort zone, listen to our wants and concerns, and make our day exactly what we had hoped for and more. They were very reasonably priced, especially for how much they are responsible for. Our guests all really enjoyed Mike and the music, almost as much as we did!

Black Tie Entertainment knows how to throw a real party! Everyone was having a blast at our wedding - dance floor was packed the entire night. Black Tie Entertainment (BTE) was fantastic. We recently got married at the Turning Casino and Resort and hired BTE as our DJ for both our ceremony (on the great lawn of the resort) and reception.

Leading up to the wedding, BTE was very responsive. We had certain songs we wanted played at certain times and they worked with us before the wedding and had several excellent suggestions to improve on what we wanted.

The music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was great. The timing for the ceremony songs was perfect and there was a perfect mix of dancing and dinner music at the reception. The few announcements and introductions that we had discussed were done very professionally.

BTE also coordinated with the reception staff at the Turning Stone to make sure everything went smoothly -- the timing of the toasts, the cake cutting, etc.

We, especially my now husband, is very into music and did not want the typical cookie cutter songs played. He was extremely pleased with the results and we got a lot of positive feedback from our guests about the music.

Black Tie Entertainment made our wedding day all we hoped for and we highly recommend them.

My husband & I just got married last weekend, and already multiple people have commented on how great our music was. And not just the dancing music, although it was fantastic, I have received compliments on the dinner music selections as well. Bill was so professional; he spoke with my husband & I a few times during the reception which was perfect. He did not question us endlessly, nor did he keep us out of the loop. He knew what to do about everything and I felt confident hiring him that all would be well. I was not disappointed!

The whole evening flowed perfectly, from speeches to the blessing to a mike out on the floor while we sang along, and I had no worries about anything related to the transition from dinner to dancing or the music itself. Thanks so much BTE!

My wife and I recently used Black Tie Entertainment for our wedding, and to say we were thrilled would be an understatement!!! We looked into several DJ's and Black Tie Entertainment was far and away the best choice. Bill is very professional and easy to work with, and when you're planning a wedding that is very important. He has an uncanny ability to understand your vision and then to IMPROVE on it! The reception was a full six hours and the dance floor was packed for all but the dinner hour! Bill kept the music and the party jumping until they turned the lights on at midnight. My 88 year old Grandmother even stayed until the end of the night! We couldn't believe how many people told us that they hadn't danced like they did that night in years!

We were married two weeks ago and Bill was our DJ. In our opinion, the DJ was the most critical part of the reception and we knew that the DJ could make or break our event. Needless to say, we definitely did our homework on DJ services in Central New York. The very first thing we said to Bill was that we wanted a party...and a party is what we had! From start to finish Bill was an absolute pleasure to work with. Prior to the wedding, most of our communications were via e-mail. We had just one in-person meeting. Bill listened to us very well and accommodated every single request we had.
Our reception took place in three different rooms. We thought that this would present a challenge as far as sound was concerned; Bill took it upon himself to set up an additional sound system so the sound could be heard throughout. We gave him very general guidelines as to the type of music we wanted played during certain portions of the evening. He did a great job with the song selections and is a master at reading a crowd. He also played the music at our ceremony and his timing was perfect. We are most thankful to Bill for the way he "led" the night. He kept the party going and made sure that all of the important events and announcements took place as we discussed. He took care of the things that we had no time to even think about during the evening. We are thrilled with Black Tie Entertainment and with Bill.

We recently used Black Tie Entertainment DJ's and Bill himself did our reception. He was beyond what we had expected and exceeded our expectations. He was wonderful at keeping us happy and our guests ad even went and got a few drinks for our wedding party at one point. He was wonderful and we can not say enough about how much he made our day. Our monogram was beautiful and well worth every penny. Bill did our wedding in August and he was great. He was very helpful during the planning process and definitely kept people dancing during the reception. Black Tie Entertainment just did our wedding on Oct 3, 2009. Being a military couple stationed overseas, we were worried that having only two meetings might make it hard for the DJ and us. It was the opposite-Bill made us feel right at ease the minute we met him, and did a great job keeping in touch with us throughout the planning, from the minute we expressed interest, Black Tie was very professional and really made us feel special.

Phil was our DJ, and made our night the perfect night to remember! He had great song choices, played requests, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long! They even accommodated us by letting my bridesmaid sing the first song. Thank you Black Tie for a great evening-both Bill and Phil were great guys, both nice and professional!

Bill and Chris from Black Tie Entertainment were simply amazing. When they first meet with us, they set both of us at ease and gave us confidence in their abilities. After meeting with them in person and discussing the options over the phone, Black Tie Entertainment helped craft a music ensemble that matched perfectly with what we were looking for. We knew that the music and timing of the DJ would be critical to how the entire reception went. We couldn't have asked for a better team. Their style was classy and responsive to the crowd.

Bill and Chris paid attention to all of the details making sure the music and ambiance was exaclty to our tastes. They made sure all the instruments, speakers, microphones worked with our timeline for the night. At one point we had four DJs from the company at our reception to make sure that the party went well.

During our reception, we transitioned from outside dancing into an inside location. Black Tie Entertainment made the transition seamlessly by setting up two separate sound systems for the evening.

The crowd was wild. It was a packed dance floor for the entire reception. Younger cousins, aunts, uncles, college friends, work friends and the grandparents were all on the dance floor.
