A winter wedding at the BSCC offered half-price on upgrades so we opted for exclusive use of both ballrooms. The smaller Essex ballroom was perfect for the ceremony. The staff moved guests through the receiving line so that ballroom could be set up for the cocktail hour with no disruption to the flow of the evening. The Essex ballroom remained a place to go for quieter intimate social settings. That left the larger Andover ballroom reserved for an elegant grand reception. Adding the uplighting package made this ballroom sparkle with windows leading to a balcony overlooking the winter wonderland golf course, cathedral ceilings, chandeliers, and a huge dance floor. Although the weather didn't cooperate for outdoor photos, opportunities abound with the winding staircase, huge bridal suite, charming foyer, separate bar and lounge. Our coordinator extraordinaire, Caryl Nansel, was committed to making all our wishes come true. The exceptional quality of service was an impressive professional team effort. Working with the staff was a complete pleasure. I cannot say enough about the succulent food that was served. From the phenomenal appetizers to the superb main meal, the on-site chefs lived up to Keon's reputation for excellence in the finest quality food.

We were so fortunate to attend a bridal event at the Black Swan Country Club last year because we had never been there before and had been looking at and considering other venues in the area. We met Tifini White who is a wedding coordinator there and she was kind enough to show us around. My first impression of the venue was the amazing grand entrance that you get when you first pull in the country club. Very nice grounds that are very well kept. We were in the Essex room which has a beautiful staircase and chandelier that lead to the ballroom. As soon as we entered into the room, I knew that this was where we I was getting married after I saw that beautiful floor plan that included a large dance floor and plenty of room for a good sized wedding. The food from the Keon's restaurant was better than we could have ever imagined! Every guest raved about the beef melting in their mouths and everything was cooked to perfection! We loved every minute of our wedding and we owe it all to the very well coordinated staff at the Black Swan Country Club!

We cannot say enough about the Black Swan! Our day was absolutely perfect! Our guests are still talking about the beautiful grounds, the fabulous service, and the delicious food! We never had to worry about a thing! The staff was so flexible in accommodating all of our requests and extremely helpful answering any questions we had, especially our amazing coordinator Tiffini! She was the best to work with! When we were introduced into our room, it was exactly as we had imagined it and hoped it would be! We truly felt well taken care of. We would highly recommend the Black Swan to future brides and grooms. If you want a beautiful background, friendly staff, and delicious food for your big day, you need to go with the Black Swan Country Club!!

The Black Swan Country Club was nothing but wonderful to work with. Tiffini was our wedding coordinator and she was so helpful in the planning process. She was extremely knowledgeable but wasn't pushy when it came towards any of the add-ons that Black Swan offers. We felt really comfortable whenever we met in person. And we especially liked that we could add things to our big day that fit within our budget.

Whenever I had a question, Tiffini would always email me by the end of the day or first thing the next morning. We had our wedding in the larger Andover Room and we loved having the larger bridal suite upstairs. It was a great place to hang out before the ceremony. And it gave me somewhere private to go to freshen up or use the bathroom. The wrap around porch connected to the Andover room was a great addition for people to go and grab some air.

The food was great, we got the Chicken Pomme which was delicious. It was a perfect pairing for our autumn wedding. It had an apple cranberry stuffing which was AMAZING. We got so many compliments on the food. We also had the prime rib as a second choice which our guests raved about. Our guests loved the house wine that we had opted for as well. It really is a budget friendly place.

However, the one moment that sticks out in my mind as being above and beyond is how caring Tiffini was with my family. We had our ceremony on site and the ceremony space is a quick walk from the reception hall. She chauffeured my grandmother (who has a walker and has difficulty walking) in a golf cart without me knowing. I didn't find out until after the wedding because my Grandmother called me and raved about it. There were other guests who were also driven over via the golf cart. It means the world to me that Tiffini took care of my family while I was busy getting ready. It was so considerate and I appreciate it beyond words.

My wedding was at Black Swan Country Club this past weekend. We worked with Tiffini and her colleagues and they were all amazing. Tiffini was always quick to reply to questions i had (which were alot) and was very accommodating of all our requests. We had an outdoor ceremony and we pretty much waited until the last minute deciding to bring it indoors because of possible rain and Tiffini was so supportive of the decision even though it meant that both indoors and outdoors needed to be setup with chairs just in case.

the food was AMAZING. everyone told us that the prime rib was fantastic. we also had our rehearsal dinner at Keons and one of our options for guests was a chicken and mushroom dish that was to die for! it rivaled any high end restaurant in boston. the steak tips are also really good here and the baked haddock was a whole filet of haddock!

our room (the bigger andover ballroom) had its own private covered balcony which was right off the ballroom and perfect to get some air or have a conversation away from the dj. there is a private brida suite with a bathroom that can be used to get ready in in the morning and have pictures done with bridesmaids.

as far as price goes, i would say the price is on the lower end for what i have seen in my research when we were deciding on venues. i have been to many weddings where the cost was upwards of $100 a plate and the food isnt even good! at black swan its less than half that much and the food is superb. price versus quality, you cannot get any better!

all in all, my day was perfect and i would recommend tiffini and black swan to anyone. i could not have asked for a better experience...

We had the most perfect wedding!! We are so grateful for our coordinators help through our planning process and on our big day!! She was incredible !! The service and food was amazing as well!

We just recently had our wedding at the Black Swan Country Club, and it was amazing. Everyone that works there is great! We worked with Tifini to coordinate everything about our wedding. She was so helpful, and is really good at what she does. Anytime we had a question, her response was immediate; and if we needed advice on anything, it was always very helpful. They make your day about you, and I had a blast! We were able to rent the entire facility out, so that there were no other weddings happening at the same time. They also worked with our other vendors to make sure everything worked out perfectly. And another major plus, the pricing is very affordable compared to ALOT of other places.

We had our wedding at the Black Swan Country Club in September. I cant say enough about the overall package provided by the vendor. From the beginning until the end, the planning was seamless. Caryl was amazing. She is so organized and responds so quickly. She is always positive and calm even when I was stressed. There were no hidden fees, everything was communicated up front. All of our guests commented on how classy the ballroom looked. They all raved about the food. Guests loved the pulled pork apps, the filet mignon and the baked stuffed sole. Finally, the scenery was beautiful. The pictures came out great. Overall, my husband and I were so pleased with our choice. Thank you for making our day so special.

My fiance and I were married at Black Swan this past September and I really can't say enough! First I have to say that our coordinator Tiffini did a fabulous job. She kept the planning stress free and fun. I always heard back from her promptly and she always had helpful suggestions when I asked. My maid of honor and I made the centerpieces and favors and they set up everything so beautifully for us! Tiffini kept everything that day running smoothly for us on the wedding day so we didn't have to worry.We got so many compliments on the food. We had several specialty tables and our guests loved them. They had so much fun watching their food being cooked. Black Swan offers a menu with a wide variety and this is one place where you wont be getting the same old dry wedding chicken. My advice is don't skimp of the appetizers either , they are all delicious!!! . They also have beautiful areas to take your wedding photos. Out of all the places we looked at I cant think of anywhere else we would have gotten so much for our money. I will now have a lifetime of wonderful memories here and I would really recommend you stop by you wont be disappointed.

My husband and I got married on September 8th, 2012 and held our reception at the Black Swan Country Club. We were so impressed with the quality of service and responsiveness with the staff and wedding coordinators. The wedding coordinator we worked with, Tiffini White, promptly responded to any emails that we had sent her way. Tiffini was accommodating to our schedules when we met to select our meals and drop off our wedding items prior to the big day. The food tasting event that the Black Swan held for all couples was informative and helped us decide on dinner selections and vendors. The dinner menu on our wedding day was so delicious - we received many compliments from the wedding guests! In addition, all waitstaff and bartenders were so nice and made the night go smoothly. On the day of our wedding, we took beautiful pictures on the golf course, bridge, and next to the waterfall! We were so thankful to have had great scenery for the pictures. We are so happy with how well our special day went and were so glad to hear all of our guests say that our wedding was the best wedding they had been to! Big thanks and love to the Black Swan for such a beautiful day!

The Black Swan Country Club was just amazing! The grounds are well kept, and they have a new beautiful waterfall out back that is a perfect place for pictures. The food was delicious, all of our guests raved about it. Their new uplighting services were perfect. They were all perfectly placed around the room. The Ball Room was gorgeous. Very spacious with a huge dance floor! Caryl was our wedding coordinator and she made sure everything went off without a hitch. We dropped all of our items we needed to have set up the day before and Caryl and her staff set everything up. I got a sneak peak of the ballroom before everyone piled in and I saw everyone working so hard to make everything perfect. She was just wonderful and helped make our day perfect. We did not have to worry about a thing. I had moments where I had no idea how everything would fall into place, but Caryl made it all work and did it with a smile. She truly cares and wants you to enjoy your day and not have to worry about a thing. The staff was very polite and were very attentive to my husband and I and our wedding party to make sure we had drinks and food and anything else we needed. At the end of the night they had everything packed up for us ready to go. We really did not have to do anything that day except get married and have a blast celebrating. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have a perfect and carefree day!

We had an amazing wedding at the Black Swan Country Club. Every single thing was so great. They only thing that went wrong was with the bar. We had an open bar and they do it by consumption. We were told repeatedly that we would be updated frequently on what the tab was up to. We were updated when we cut our cake. There was still about 2 hours left. Tiffini found me a little before the end of the wedding and told me the bar tab. I almost fell to the floor! How could it have doubled in the last two hours? And no one updated us! There was nothing we could do at that point, but hand over our credit cards and pay for it. But we missed our last song and dance because we were dealing with this. It was a terrible way to end such an amazing wedding.

I worked with Caryl from day one and I have nothing bad to say about her professionalism as well as the venue. Everybody was extremely helpful and accommodating in making sure my wedding was wonderful. The venue is beautiful especially with the new waterfall which only made my pictures even more spectacular! I rented out both rooms, the smaller one for the cocktail hour and the larger room for the reception which made my wedding the only one that night. Caryl and her staff set up everything for the cocktail hour and made sure all of my wedding decorations were set up perfectly how I wanted them to. Throughout the night Caryl made sure everything was exactly running as smooth as possible. With having a severe nut allergy I wanted to make sure nothing was made with nuts and Caryl made me feel assured that nothing was made with nuts and that was something I did not have to worry about which is very comforting. The food was delicious and people who attended my wedding still talk about how yummy the food was. I had a candy bar set up which Caryl made sure I had some of my favorite candies. I also had the uplighting from them which made the room look even prettier not to mention the money I saved from having to go to an outside company. I can not say enougnh good things about this venue and how wonderful they were to work with. The Black Swan Country Club is much more than a ballroom. I had about a 250 person wedding and I really didn't want that hotel ballroom feel and you do not get that with having your wedding here. You truly get an intimate and gorgeous place with an amazing staff!

We worked with Carole on our recent wedding, and it was just the most phenomenal experience ever. She was so professional and accommodating, and really put us at ease from the start. Consequently, I was able to relax and enjoy my reception, as I knew she had everything under control. We chose the filet, baked stuffed chicken, and breaded cod and all three meals were FANTASTIC - we heard rave reviews from our guests. The Andover Room was gorgeous, and the uplighting was worth every penny - the photos looked beautiful with the colored lights. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, and I absolutely would recommend the Black Swan. They were an unbelievable value for the service they provided - it was a night we will remember for the rest of our lives.

We recently had our wedding reception at the Black Swan Country Club. Ourselves along with our guests couldn't be happier with the attention to detail, service, flexibility, and food! Caryl Nansel was our event coordinator and was very accomodating and flexible throughout the decision making process. She made planning and the night of the event stress free. We appreciate all the hard work of the wait staff and chefs, the food was affordable and delicious. Our guests are still talking about it! Not to mention the location makes for some great pictures and the reception room was decorated just how we wanted it. we couldn't be happier with the quality of service we received throughout the planning process and actual event. Our wedding reception was on Saturday, June 09, 2012 at the Black Swan Country Club, in Georgetown, MA.
The first time my fiancé, Jonathan and I walked into the Black Swan was in March of 2011. We were impressed with the elegant décor and immaculate conditions. We did not have an appointment, but stopped in the office to inquire. We were met with a pleasant and knowledgeable staff, Donna Andrews, Caryl Nansel and Tiffini White.
The sales and events manager, Caryl Nansel, immediately offered to give us a tour and discuss any questions and concerns.
Jonathan and I toured the two ballrooms and were pleased with their size and layout.
We chose the Essex ballroom. It was the perfect fit for our wedding. We had 120 guests.
I can’t even begin to describe how organized and courteous Caryl was. Whenever Jonathan or I had a question, she would reply as quick as possible and always with a polite tone.
On our wedding day, Caryl was right there for all the important elements. For example, when it was time for our first dance, cutting our cake, tossing my bouquet or when we were needed to pose for pictures, Caryl would gently remind us of what was next. She timed everything correctly and the entire reception ran smoothly.
The meals we chose were the Chicken Valentino and the Chicken Pomme’. We knew it was unusual to offer two chicken dishes, but both were delicious and each offered something special for our guests.
In addition to our wedding cake, we also chose to have a candy bar for our guest favor. It was very well received!! There was a large assortment of candy and chocolate. It was displayed on a large table, in beautiful glass containers with small twinkling votives in between. It was magical and appetizing.
The waitstaff and bartenders were excellent. They were courteous and asked all our guests if they were pleased with their meal or if anything needed to be changed.
In our opinion, Caryl Nansel truly cared for the couple and tried to be as accommodating as possible. Jonathan and I truly appreciate everything she did for us and our wedding. Thank you, Caryl. It was wonderful to work with you. We will never forget you.
Jonathan and I also want to thank all the Black Swan Country Club employees. Everyone who was involved in our wedding reception performed their task with the utmost professionalism. The ballroom was spotless, the food was delicious and the overall organization of our reception was impeccable.
