Absolutely Wonderful Bakery!
Bing's Bakery was extremely friendly and responsive when I inquired about a wedding cake, They were flexible when it came to scheduling a tasting, we had to reschedule a couple times due to conflicts. The tasting was so much fun! Norma was amazing to work with. She was very knowledgeable and creative. As far as design, I gave her a general idea of what I liked and she knocked it out of the park! We received many compliments, the cake was absolutely stunning and delicious! Highly recommend Bing's!!

We got our wedding cake at Bing's bakery and we could not have been more pleased!! They had excellent customer service and we loved our cake tasting with Norma! They were easy to reach and made it a piece of cake to mail the topper right to the bakery. Not only was the cake beautiful on the outside (looking exactly like we had envisioned) but it was DELICIOUS and a huge hit at the wedding!! We highly recommend Bing's for any event! Absolutely top notch and classy!

Bings was extremely accommodating and willing to do exactly what I imagined for my wedding.
I explained to Bing's that I was not interested in having a large wedding cake for everyone to share at my wedding; rather a small cake for my husband and I and a variety of pastries and cookies for my guests. Bing's was extremely helpful during this process and guided me through what to pick and how much of each item. They were also helpful in making sure that it was cost effective and were accommodating in making sure it got delivered early not to disrupt the flow of the wedding.

What a fun experience cake testing. Norma was a world of knowledge, and fun/outgoing, helping me design my cake. She listened to what I was looking for and came up with my own look. Amazing Wedding Cake and beautiful decor
Bing’s Bakery was absolutely amazing and we wanted no one else but them to create our wedding cake. Bing’s has always had a special place in my heart because I worked there for four years during college. The best part of our wedding cake experience was the heart and soul they put into making cake that tasted amazing but the decor was just as beautiful and everything we wanted out of a cake. We asked for one side of the cake to be elegant and beach themed and the other to have part of the Maryland flag along with a crab basket for my husband. When we saw and tasted the cake we both both blown away, it was better than we had imagined. The chocolate orange bottom tier was to die for along with our middle tier of vanilla cake with raspberry filling and our top tier that we saved for just us. A chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and strawberry filling was none other than amazing. Bing's is simply amazing. From the start, Norma was very responsive over email and they were able to accommodate every one of our requests. We wanted a cake that looked like a birch tree with our initials carved into the trunk, and they did just that!
We also ordered a groom's cake and Norma had the perfect idea that incorporated my husband's favorite basketball & football teams.
We can't wait to eat our top tier on our anniversary!

Perfect summer taste
Norma was an absolute pleasure to work with. We did two tastings but kept coming back to the same flavor. We chose a four tier cake. The flavors were vanilla with lemon filling, and strawberry with lemon filling. We thought this was perfect for our wedding because it fell two days before the end of summer. Norma listened to our vision for the cake and we are so happy with everything from Bing’s.

Working with Bing's was worry free. Our cake was included in our package at the Hilton. We we able to try a lot of different flavors. I wanted a chocolate peanut butter that was not out for tasting and they brought us a cupcake to try. Our cake was a beautiful 3 tier cake with our wedding colors in the flowers. Everyone at the wedding commented on how delicious the cake was. We will definitely be ordering future cakes from Bing's.

Amazing cake
Choosing Bing's Bakery was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding. We chose our cake literally 2 weeks before or ceremony and they did an amazing job helping us out and being patient. Hidden gem in downtown Newark
We love this bakery and enjoyed our experience working with Norma. The cake tasting was a lot of fun and Norma worked closely with us to come up with our design and flavors. We initially were trying to base our design on their example pictures and Pinterest. Then we showed Norma the monogram we designed and she started drawing a design for us on the spot that perfectly captured our wedding style and colors. The cake turned out beautifully, the delivery went smoothly, and we got rave reviews on both the looks and the taste. We still paid at least an average amount on our cake, but we got a lot more for our money and didn't have to sacrifice any of our wants. We plan to come back to Bing's each year on our anniversary as an excuse to get more cake!

We got so many compliments. We had a different flavor cake and icing on each tier of our wedding cake and they were all amazing. Everyone took some home and said it was just as good the next day. Cant wait to taste my top tier a year from now on our anniversary.. norma was so nice and accommodating .. only recommendation would be is that they didn't have every flavor available for our taste test but it didn't matter in the end

Norma was very helpful and down to earth during our consultation. She gave us great advice and had us laughing as we made our decisions. We could tell that she wanted to tailor the cake to our wedding colors and to our cake preferences. We ended up getting a beautiful cake with blue and purple (our wedding colors) that was delicious. All of our guests said that they loved the cake.

The consultation meeting was quick, easy, and we were able to order exactly what we wanted. Whether you like simple cakes like us or more detailed, Bing's will bring your vision to life. We chose to use live flowers as decorations and all we had to do was bring the flowers to the bakery one day before. They added them onto the cake in such a gorgeous way. We really enjoyed working with Norma at Bing's bakery to design our cake! Bing's has stuck around for over a century for a reason. We got a massive black forest cake and a lemon cake with raspberry and strawberry filling with real buttercream frosting for a good price, and our guests were raving. Even though we didn't go with a traditional towering wedding cake, we were very satisfied with the level of detail in the decorations and the quality of the product. They don't skimp on anything.

I requested a custom cake with a 24 hour turnaround and very few ideas of what I wanted. The team at Bing’s Bakery was amazing. I called Bings, they set up a tasting and said there was no problem doing a cake. Norma had wonderful suggestions and we were very happy. Bing's Bakery did my wedding cake in 2016, and they were awesome! They made sure it was just the way I wanted it to look, and it tasted incredible! The cake wasn't dried out at all (my pet peeve) and the flavors were great. I had guests text me after the wedding asking who made the cake so they could order from them. They also called me a few days before the wedding just to make sure they had everything right, and worked with me on what time to deliver it.

Pure Artistry! Not only did our parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary cake look exquisite (like a wedding cake!), but it was delectable. Yellow cake with the French vanilla crème, covered with their real buttercream frosting. Cascading roses with a slight gold shimmer, tastefully done. Our guests RAVED about the Anniversary cake. Most highly recommended!!
We live in SE Virginia and traveled a distance to pick up the cake before our event. It was worth the time/distance investment. Thank you for making our event more memorable with such a beautiful & delicious dessert.

I did a cake top and the rest cupcakes. When we scheduled a tasting, they were very helpful. Bing’s wanted to capture the exact look I was going for. Everyone raved about the cupcakes and asked where I got them. With my venue I had a choice of four bakeries and I am satisfied I chose Bing’s.

Our cake looked and tasted amazing. Norma came up with some surprises that made our cake special such when we cut into our cake it was blue. We weren't sure how we wanted our cake to look before the meeting and after walking out of our meeting we were so excited to see the finished product. It was better than I could have imagined.

My wedding cake was everything I wanted and more. We met with Norma, who is AWESOME and explained what we were looking for. For me I had a vision of what I wanted my cake to look like but you just never know what the final outcome will be as each person has different visions. Well, the cake was way over the top of my vision it was just so beautiful and elegant it was more than I expected. When we were able to go into the ballroom to look at everything before the guests came in the first thing I noticed was how amazing my cake was, every little detail was there and was so much better than I ever visioned.
Norma is a wonderful person to work with and was always available whenever I had a melt down or second guessed myself especially when our guest count increased way more than expected. Norma was there to calm me down and everything worked out perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better bakery for my cake and they now have ALL of my business.

Bing's has been a part of my family's traditions for years! From my parent's wedding, to birthdays, to special occasions, so it was a no-brainer that my fiance and I would go with Bing's. We set up a time for a consultation with Norma and she brought us a plate of samples or cakes, frostings, and fillings. Norma understood what we wanted and off we went. On the wedding day, our main one tier cake was cute and as I envisioned, but our sunflower cupcakes were adorable and beyond expectation. Our guests loved how they looked, but, more importantly, how they tasted...yummm! Thank you Bing's for keeping the family tradition going!

I was so impressed with the cake, and in love with the look and taste. Bing's did an amazing job! From the start, they were kind and attentive and helpful. The tasting went well, no frills, but just how I like it. We reviewed the style of cake we wanted (a naked cake, chocolate, with berries on the outside) ,and my goodness did they deliver. It was GORGEOUS, made my mouth water at the smell, and tasted like heaven. It was so good.

My in-laws used Bing's Bakery for their wedding cake 35 years ago, so it was very special to us to use them as well. We met with Norma and she totally took all of the vague information I gave her and designed a beautiful cupcake tower. We had 3 types of cupcakes and a small cake on top with cannoli filling. We also ordered butter cookies.
When we talk to people about our wedding, they say they had a great time and loved the cupcakes.
Norma was fabulous to work with, the delivery arrived on time with no problems, and our guests loved them. All for a price that can't be beat.
Do your guests (and wallet!) a favor and go to Bing's!

I recently got married in August and got my wedding cake through Bing's. It was absolutely beautiful!! It was exactly how I imagined it and we got so many compliments on it at the reception, and even now people still talk about it. I had a butterfly theme and purchased edible butterfly's and brought them into Norma and I said, I trust you guys, so do whatever you like with them, as I know it will be beautiful and indeed it was! They decorated them on an angle and even put flowers in between them which made it even more stunning. Norma was so sweet and helpful and did everything as I wanted it. I would definitely recommend going to them if you want a gorgeous wedding cake!

I seriously loved our cake from Bing's Bakery. I had a "vision" for the cake but was having a hard time putting it into words.. well they figured it out and delivered even better than I was picturing! AND it was delicious!! We have four tiers and each tier was a different flavor on the inside which was great. The best part was that, because we went with the Chase Center in Wilmington, we received a cake allowance and the price for the cake was seriously amazing. We had our tasting a few months before the wedding with Norma, who was such a delight to work with. She was polite, excited, and eager to help. She definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Everything was delicious and our guests raved about the cupcakes, eclairs and how cute our cake was. Scheduling the drop off was tricky, as they had multiple drop offs on the day of our wedding and we did not want the cake melting in the summer heat, but we got it all worked out and nothing melted. Bing's came through in a pinch! The day before my son's wedding we found out our original baker was not able to bake the wedding cake ?. We called Bing's that morning, went in with a picture of the cake we wanted and they pulled out all the stops in an emergency situation to get the cake done! Although I wouldn't suggest waiting until the day before the wedding to order the cake, Bings helped to keep this wedding special with an absolutely beautiful cake!

Bing's Bakery created the perfect wedding cake for our special day! The cake was delicious and Bing's worked with my husband and I to make a cake that was exactly what we wanted within our budget. I highly recommend Bing's Bakery! Our guests were complimenting the beauty and taste of their creation!

This is by far one of the best cake shops around the New Castle County area ! We were completely satisfied with how our wedding cake turned out. Bing's Bakery has the most delicious cakes.

From the minute we met with Norma at Bing's Bakery who has such an out going, fun, energetic personality while being truly professional we knew we had made the right decision by selecting Delaware's oldest and best bakery to do our wedding cake! We are beyond happy with how amazing our wedding cake turned out not only was it unique and absolutely beautiful it was delicious! Our guests couldn't stop at one slice they had to try each flavor :)

Bing's did a wonderful job for our wedding!
Our cake was included in the package for the Executive Hall in Newark, DE. Instead of a full size cake, we decided to go with a small cake for us to cut on the top of a cupcake tower and a few lbs of Italian cookies.
The cupcakes are unbelievably delicious and so were the cookies! The tasting was a little rushed and wasn't what we expected but Carla was great in letting us know what they provide and giving us what we wanted.

We went to several cake tastings at bakeries that worked with our reception venue and were included in our wedding package. After being extremely disappointed at each one, we decided to fall back on an old family favorite, Bing's Bakery, and pay for the cake separately. It was the best decision we could have made! Norma was so helpful in selecting the design that we envisioned. All of the staff are extremely friendly and eager to please. Bing's has a seemingly neverending selection of cake flavors, fillings, etc. And unlike at other cake tastings that only let us choose a few flavors to sample, Bing's let us try EVERYTHING. The cake turned out even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. And so many of our wedding guests commented that it was the best wedding cake they ever tasted. There's a reason Bing's is Delaware's "Longest Running Bakery" - I promise they will not disappoint!

We had a softball theme wedding and Bing's did a great job of making the cake classy but still giving us a hint of our theme. Not mention the cake was delicious.
