We chose Biddle Street Catering for our Baltimore wedding. We went for a tasting and the food was absolutely delicious. Most flavorful, juiciest turkey breast I've ever had. Erin B. was wonderfully accommodating as a planner for the catering, the staff was professional, prompt, and courteous, and the pricing was flexible enough to offer excellent options to suit our wedding. Based on all these factors it was easy to choose them to cater our wedding. Erin helped to coordinate with the officiant and the band and took a lot of stress off our minds. We were also able to work with us for some last minute items since were were coordinating this from two states away. They were even able to create custom made sandwiches as our wedding favor, which were a huge hit with our guests! At the wedding, Erin and her team were amazing. We cannot say enough great things about how she was keeping track of our flexible time table, making sure we had food as soon as we sat down, and coordinating all the set up and take down. Amazing job by her and her team, and we would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them.We chose Biddle Street Catering for our Baltimore wedding. Biddle Street provided the food for my daughter's wedding.
The food, staff, and the service were OUTSTANDING!!! The lamb chops that were served were tender, juicy, and delicious. People are calling and talking about how good all of the food was but, especially the lamb chops. I will definitely use them again for any of my catering needs. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of how Biddle Street Catering and Events handled our wedding reception. The event coordinator, Erin Brice, pretty much acted as my wedding planner and was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She was very easy to talk to and get in touch with, and she was always willing to help me out with anything I needed. The food was incredible and the service was excellent. The entire event went very smoothly, even though everyone showed up an hour early! The catering staff was able to accommodate everyone and everything was ready on time. I would definitely recommend Biddle Street to anyone else planning an event and would certainly use them again. Ginny and her team were awesome! As the mother of the bride, I was able to relax and enjoy the wedding celebration because Ginny took such good care of me and kept everything on track. The food was delicious! The happy couple and I are still getting raves about the food, the flow, and the venue and the wedding was almost two months ago! Food is AMAZING. Every guest at my wedding was blown away!!!!!! They keep talking to me about the food and how great it was! We did a mexican theme, and they really GOT IT!!! This company goes above and BEYOND to please the bride and groom. Ginny..... is UNREAL!!!! She is seriously the hardest worker, and will do anything for you at the night of your wedding. We were running out of booze mid way, and she literally went to the store to get us more. She was unbelievable. I will recommend them to EVERYONE I know getting married! I am a local business owner, and meet girls all the time getting married and need to make this decision... I will be sure to tell them to use Biddle St!!!! 5 STARS COMPLETELY!!!Food is AMAZING. Ginny and Staff were AMAZING. She was always very helpful and willing to accommodate every request I had. Ginny helped my husband and I even plan portions of our event, neither one of us had experience planning a wedding before and Ginny was able to help us figure out timing and such with the reception.
You also can't beat the food. We went in to meet Ginny with a plan that our guests would be able to identify what they were eating without asking and Ginny made that happen. Just a week ago, my husband and I attended a wedding with a large group of friends and they couldn't help but comment back to the food at our wedding was compared to what we were eating.
I have recommended Ginny to many friends and family members and will continue to go to her for any event that requires catering!Ginny and Staff were AMAZING. Our reception was held at the BMI with Biddle Street Catering from the approved caterer's list. Ginny Kearns from Biddle was very responsive to my initial inquiries. I sent emails to 3 caterers with what I thought I wanted and Ginny came up with a proposal right away. She gave us excellent suggestions and was very easy to deal with. She worked with our band and coordinated the evening. We went with Biddle's standard linens and the tables looked beautiful. The cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres were displayed beautifully and were very good. The dinner of crab cake and filet was delicious. At the BMI there is no kitchen so the caterers bring their own. Biddle did an incredible job. Thanks to Biddle and Ginny Kearns for a wonderful job!Our reception was held at the BMI with Biddle Street Catering from the approved caterer's list. Pam Lightner at Biddle Street is amazing! I literally went to her with a budget knowing that I didn't have much room to be flexible and not only did she meet it, she also somehow worked it out that we were able to include all of the decor we wanted.
We narrowed don the catering possibilities to two caterers based on our budgets. We felt a bit pressured and uncomfortable at our meeting with the first caterer. However, when we met with Biddle Street, the tasting alone was a clear sign that we should work with them. They made out entire menu so that we were able to taste each individual dish that would be offered. After the tasting was done, she handed us a doggy bag with all of the leftovers from the tasting. We had enough food for lunches for two more days.
Being a designer and extremely specific about what I was looking for. Pam met with me numerous times about the floor plans, the hand made centerpieces, the hanging flowers for the ceremony (which they also set up at the venue for us), and of course the food. She worked directly with Michele the venue manager, the decorators, and our day-of coordinator so that there was very little go-between that could have resulted in a really bad game of telephone.
Every time I had a question she was either available by phone, or email. She was quick to respond typically within a few hours. She and the staff was extremely patient with all of our guests, a few of which became a bit hard to handle after a significant amount of alcohol.
Brian and I didn't have a chance to eat much due to photos and of course other activities on the wedding day timeline. However, the reviews of all of the food was fabulous. Apparently the appetizer dishes were scraped clean. The Biddle Street team packed up all of the leftovers and the next day, Brian and I pigged out on them. They were delicious!

Biddle St did a fantastic job catering our wedding!!! From our first visit until our last payment, every representative of Biddle St showed remarkable flexibility, professionalism and interest in our desires. For example, we called them one weekend when we were looking for venues and happened to drive by their location to see if they could see us that day. (We had known from a family friend who used them extensively, that they were excellent). The owner was very flexible and told us he would meet with us whenever we were ready.
We knew we wanted a gluten free and vegetarian wedding and that this was a tall order for any caterer. Biddle St was the only ones in Baltimore (we also saw Classic Catering, Zeffert & Gold, Absolutely Perfect) who took on this challenge with grace. Biddle St was empathetic and respectful about the requirement and absolutely perfect about doing it. They worked with us to create a fabulous menu. At no charge, they prepared a lavish "tasting menu" for us and sent us home with leftovers that enjoyed eating for the next three days. (By contrast, we went to several other highly acclaimed caterers and had a very different experience). Even though our date wasn't far off, Biddle St also never pressured us to make a decision to go with them.
Given the delicious food and that top-noched service, we were delighted to find that they were the most affordable by far. After our wedding, many guests commented on how delicious the food including many who could eat gluten and had no idea that it was gluten free.
Biddle St's gluten free recipes were so delicious that we had them deliver baked goods to our rehearsal dinner site. They were happy to fulfill this request and did so at a bargain basement price.
In the days leading up to our wedding, Biddle St was attentive to all of our needs including many that were not caterer related. At our wedding, Biddle's St's representative completely on the ball and were attentive to many needs that went beyond the responsibilities in our contract.
Overall, they made the final days before the wedding day itself a lot less stressful than it would have been. We would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them.Biddle St did a fantastic job catering our wedding!!! I worked with Pam at Biddle Street and I can't say enough great things about her work and her team. From the beginning, she was so easy to talk with and she was so willing and helpful to make our wedding what we wished for. We had a pretty casual menu, sliders, crab cakes, MD style chicken tenders, fried green tomatoes, and everything was absolutely amazing. The crab cakes were some of the best I've had. All of our guests loved the food. Also, Pam was willing to do some much to help our day be as stress free as possible. They let us bring pretty much everything we had for decor to their office the day before and brought it to our venue and set things up. The team members that Biddle Street brought to work the event very just as friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. They were such a pleasure to work with and I would absolutely use them again and definitely recommend them to friends.I worked with Pam at Biddle Street and I can't say enough great things about her work and her team. My husband and I worked with Ginny for our June 4th wedding at the American Visionary Art Museum. The food was AMAZING! The sliced beef was incredibly tender and the chicken was delicious in a white wine sauce. We heard from our guests that everything was delicious. We worked with Ginny from Biddle Street and cannot say enough about her and them as a company. We went in with a specific menu idea and they ran with it. Our guests all complimented us on the taste and presentation of the food. Ginny took very good care of us and made sure the head table was well-fed and that my husband and I always had a drink. She was never obtrusive or demaning of our time, which is a huge help when you feel as if you are tugged in 1,000 different directions already. She had great ideas and only made our day better and more special for our guests! We worked with Ginny from Biddle Street and cannot say enough about her and them as a company. Since we were having our reception in the downtown Baltimore area, we were worried about the exorbitant price of catering companies. I called several companies and was informed by crude caterers that I should expect to spend over $100 a head with any catering company in the area. When I called Biddle Street, they wanted to know my budget and then gave me advice on how to meet that goal. When she sent me a dummy menu and price, she included every item that Biddle Street would cover. I didn't feel there were any hidden fees. Biddle Street helped to take care of many items such as my table/chair rentals and my wedding cake, and it all was still in my budget! My caterer, Ginny, was always up front with me and very accessible. She contacted me frequently to follow-up with me and make sure I had everything I needed. When it got closer to the wedding, I began to pester her incessantly and she always helped to explain what else I needed to do for her. Though it is not in their job role, Ginny definitely gave me advice as a wedding planner as well. Our reception took place at the Walters Art Gallery, an art museum with a list of required criteria for their caterers. Biddle Street has worked at the Walters a number of times and makes sure that they follow the museums parameters, which was quite a relief!
I wasn't sure what kind of food to serve at a wedding, but I wanted it to be memorable. I decided to do a dual entree of chicken and salmon upon their advice. Biddle Street didnt just make chicken and salmon--it was chicken with gruyere cheese and vermouth sauce and a salmon with pistachio nuts. In addition, we had a lovely appetizer display with cheese tortes in different flavors (one was an apricot curry, which my Indian family especially loved!) Biddle Street was flexible and able to provide vegetarian dishes to my guests that requested it. I only received compliments on the food!
On the day of our wedding, the Biddle Street staff went above and beyond their roles! They were very amicable to my guests; one staff member was kind enough to walk our 97-year-old grandmother to the bathroom and back! My photographer approached me and stated, "I have never seen a catering company as wonderful as this!"

Biddle Street - I can't say enough from start to finish!
Our wedding planning started in the summer of 2008. I chose a local caterer initially (not Biddle Street), who I was a little less than impressed with. He forced me in directions that I didn't really want to go....food stations are better than seated dinners; tables should look this way not that way, etc. Long story short, his business folded and he refused to return my calls. At that point, 4 months prior to my 180+ person wedding, I had to begin searching for a new vendor. I called three vendors in one day. Ginny Kerns from Biddle Street called me back the same day and had a menu options & pricing to me later that night. I gave have her our likes and dislikes and she came up with the most amazing menu and ideas for the reception in less than 24 hours. She invited us in for a tasting and thats when the fun started! They brought out appetizer after appetizer and then the main course. The food was to die for! Go there hungry! After that, I knew we were in good hands. Ginny and her staff made it so easy to plan this wedding! The wedding day was beautiful. We had an outdoor cocktail hour with both passed and stationary appetizers. My guests continue to compliment me on how nicely that was set up. Dinner was awesome. Service that whole night was also outstanding! No dirty plates lying around, no empty glasses on the bar etc. They are truly perfectionists! The best part about everything is that I didnt have to worry about ANYTHING. Ginny and her staff took care of everything. I have a lot of friends getting married or who were recently married and their stress level was far higher than mine. I am a very picky person, especially when it comes to entertaining, and I couldnt have imagined that my reception would have turned out so amazing. Again, my guests continue to tell me that my wedding was the best they have ever been to and I can thank many people for that especially the folks at Biddle Street.
I was a guest at my own daughter's wedding. Yes. That's a good thing. Ginny and her crew took care of everything. In fact I am such a control freak that at one point during the reception I thought, I should be doing something. That something was having fun.
With only nine months to plan the wedding we immediately searched for a venue and decided on the World Trade Center with Mr. Hollowell as our contact. He gave us a list of approved caters for the WTC. My daughter went down the list checked out websites for various caterers and read reviews on sites like the Knot and the Wire. She knew that she wanted certain items on her menu that were unusual for a formal event, like raw oysters. Some caterers hemmed and hawed at the thought of an oyster shucker at the event. We went to at least five tasting events held by the various caterers. Most had some excellent items, but not exactly what we wanted on our menu. We wanted to design a menu based on foods we had tried and liked. Biddle Street charges for the tasting, but it was well worth it. Ginny had the chefs prepare each menu item that we wanted from the delicious cheese tortes (curry/fruit/nuts & pesto/sun dried tomato), passed appetizers, to carved meats. Yes, the chefs came to our table and carved the turkey and roast beef for us. Ginny didn't flinch when we discussed the oysters. She did add something to our tasting which were the chicken bites. We had them at a number of other caterer?s tastings and felt they were lack luster. Ginny told us that customers usually like them so she added it for us to try. She was correct and we did add them to the passed appetizers. We were unsure about how to handle the liquor for the event. Many guests are not wine or beer drinkers and we wanted to accommodate them without wasting a lot of money. Biddle Street worked with Calvert Liquors, so we went to Calvert and picked exactly what we wanted to have available for our guests. Calvert estimated just right as we didn?t have much left over, just enough for the after party.
Ginny met with us and our florist at the WTC months before the event so that we could coordinate how to decorate the venue. Again Ginny was very supportive of my daughter's ideas of how she wanted her tables to be set. She took the brides ideas and went with it. Ginny's advice was good. My daughter designed the table settings with 33 1/3 lps with special notes for each guest, tables were identified by CD labels, and each guest got a back stage pass, specific for the table with their name on it hung from a lanyard.
The food at the event was fabulous. We had passed bacon wrapped shrimp that was a huge hit along with chicken bites, spanikopita and triopita. Stationary appetizers were fresh fruit, cheeses, bruchetta station and of course the tortes. We had the pistachio encrusted and the teriyaki salmon done to perfection, not dry, not overcooked. The roast beef and turkey were delicious. The wedding cake was served along with more fresh fruit, while chocolate dipped strawberries and bananas were passed. There was something for everyone. During the event the Biddle Street staff were diligent to meet the needs of guests. We wanted two bars because we didn't want to have lines. There were no lines. Dirty plates and glasses were removed promptly. Ginny worked with the DJ to make things run smoothly. All and all, it was a great event.
The Biddle Street chefs are outstanding. The food was delicious and presented in an artistic manner. Top chefs?watch out!

Ginny at Biddle Street is warmly and sincerely supportive, enthusiastic and communicative. She accommodated our every question and concern about planning our ceremony in a Baltimore backyard from our homebase in Austin with a limited budget. Ginny proposed a great menu with various options. The food was well-prepared, healthy and flavorful. It impressed our food snob friends from Austin. The crab dip is exceptional. It was great having Ginny — the person we worked with during the process — act as the catering manager on the ceremony site. Her three staff people were warm and professional from set up to service and break down. The tent, chairs, tables and linens made the space beautiful. Biddle Street came recommended from a family friend and we are really happy with them. For our recent "off beat", carnival themed wedding, we knew we wanted to go with a caterer who wouldn't think we were insane for wanting cotton candy, popcorn, a hot dog cart, etc instead of the traditional steak and chicken dinner. After much searching we found Biddle Street! From day 1 their coordinator, Ginny (who will go above and beyond to help you plan not only your food selections, but your entire day!) helped make our crazy dreams a reality. The only, and we really mean the only thing we were mildly disappointed (and that is NOT the right word but its all I can think of) with was not having an extra attendant on staff to work the cotton candy machine all night. Is that a big deal? No! So if you want to go with a company who loves what they do, will make you feel at ease that your food will arrive (and be absolutely delicious!) on your big day, and you want a company that after a year or more of planning will feel like a part of your family...go with Biddle Street! I cannot say enough about Biddle Street! I use them professionally for luncheons, etc and they happened to be the only caterer that didn't laugh at me when I told them what I could spend(about 10k) and what I wanted(hot and cold butlered hors d'oeuvres and a pasta station).
Mike was in charge and he coordinated everything beautifully. The food was FANTASTIC and no one left hungry. The leftovers would've gone home with us but we didn't have a big enough freezer and we were leaving the next day for our honeymoon. The bruschetta, shrimp wrapped with bacon, even the firecracker chicken got rave reviews! Pasta with 3 sauces, caesar salad and yummy bread! Mmmm, I'm hungry. If you are down to earth and don't need a hoity-toity caterer but want good food for a reasonable price with fantastci service, call Biddle Street today!I cannot say enough about Biddle Street! The food and the presentation was superb! My daughters wedding was held at the Druid Hill Conservatory. Biddle Street set up beautiful buffet stations in the diffedrent rooms. The guest ranted and raved about the unforgettable curry apricot
and the basil sundried tomatoe tortes. Not to mention the red beans and rice and
succulent jerk chicken. Ginny and her staff came thru with royal colors. The food and the presentation was superb! My daughters wedding was held at the Druid Hill Conservatory. My husband and I worked with Ginny Kearns and she was great! Biddle street gave us a private tasting so we got to try everything that was served to our guests. Ginny worked with us on all the details and even responded to our home to go over the final cake decision. Make sure on the final walk through to be specific on where you would like items to be placed. On the wedding day my husband and I never lifted a finger or had to answer questions. Ginny made sure all food, gifts, flowers, decorations, etc was packed up and placed on a table at the end of the night. You pay a little more for Biddle St Catering, but the food was the best I have tasted. My husband and I worked with Ginny Kearns and she was great! We loved working with Ginny, the food was fantastice, everything was timed to perfection, the only glitch was our cake was not exactly as we had imagined, but that could be because we were a little less than hands on. I was under the impression that one picture and a few notes would be sufficent to get the cake right, but did not follow up. The cake I got was exactly opposite to the one I wanted in appearence, the flavor and taste were great though.
Other than the cake, the staff was friendly and helpful and if we had to do it again we would still go with Biddle Street. Like I said the food is fantastic and Ginny was a blast to work with.

My husband and I hired Biddle Street Catering for our November 2017 wedding reception. During the year and a half we dealt with Biddle, I had three different people managing our event. This felt difficult, as the first event manager was the person who really sold me and who I thought really saw my vision. They also seemed to have the most experience. On paper, I originally drafted a much longer review containing all the nitty-gritty details of what happened during our reception and what followed, but decided I didn’t have to. Biddle Street is aware of our issues. Just know, I was in tears by the end of the night. I have never written a negative review like this is my entire life. I would hate to see another bride and groom go through what we have.My husband and I hired Biddle Street Catering for our November 2017 wedding reception. We booked Biddle Street Catering more than three months prior to our wedding reception. We had met with them, decided on the services that they would provide, signed the contract and given them a deposit check totalling 30% of the total cost. The prices were high, but the impression was that they would take very good care of us.
With only ten days to our wedding reception (YES, TEN) they contacted us to inform us that they would not be providing the services we had agreed on and that they would be returning our deposit check. Some total lie about FORGETTING that they were double booked!
When we asked why they had decided to behave in such an unprofessional manner they became angry and abusive.
This company is very unprofessional, the senior members of the company were rude, belligerent and uncooperative.
I cannot in all good faith recommend this company to anyone wanting peace of mind when arranging their function.
Thankfully this did not ruin our lovely day and we found another catering company that provided excellent service at short notice at less cost.We booked Biddle Street Catering more than three months prior to our wedding reception.
