My husband and I discovered Beaumonde Originals through a internet search for both photography and videography services. This aspect of having both services in house was extremely important to us. We hit it off with Cathie from the very first Zoom video call. My husband and I live and breath Philadelphia and we knew Beaumonde Originals would best capture the infinite energy of our relationship. Want to talk about fun? Our engagement session has several costume changes and two very drastic location changes. We went from Philly sports fandom to University City academia. Cathie captured the whole day flawlessly. Fast forward to wedding day preparation. Cathie spelled out the day’s timeline in all practical forms. She made the day manageable, fun, and stress free. Enter Wedding day! Cathie and her team got down to business immediately and kept the flow going. Improv moments throughout the first look, bridal party photos, and family photos made the day even that more magically. Cathie and her team tackled the challenge that was the Franklin Institute Planetarium ceremony and the product was absolutely phenomenal. Simply Amazing!
Cathie does an incredible job running BeauMonde Originals! She is so great about communication, always responded right away, gave great advice to us as our wedding approached and kept the calm the day of our wedding when things started to get a little crazy. She is so organized, creative and takes phenomenal photos. Her assistant the day of our wedding was also so awesome! During our reception, Daniel was seen walking around essentially hiding his camera to take those hilarious candid photos! He was also so kind and caring throughout the day, even offering sunscreen since it was so sunny and hot out! The entire experience was incredible and we would definitely recommend them to anyone we know!

How do I give Cathie from Beau Monde more than 5 stars? It's hard to express in words how amazing Cathie is -- as a person & as a photographer. My husband, family, and friends loved her and how passionate she is about her work. Because our wedding was in a few weeks of booking her, Cathie was helpful and accommodating, she shot our reveal hours before the wedding. She then drove to another town to do the wedding, then back to the first location. We had endless compliments on our revel and wedding photos. I can't thank her enough for all her creativity, inspiration, and personal feel she added to that day. Cathie is the best photographer to work with! I will be using her again in the future and have already made several recommendations for her and Beau Monde.

So excited that Cathie and Al helped us capture our amazing day! From our first phone call Cathie seemed genuinely excited about our wedding and having us as clients. They truly make you feel like you are part of the BeauMonde family! Services were everything we hoped for and more. Cathie took the time to go through a detailed walk thru with us at our wedding venue well in advance. Communication was always timely and efficient. On our wedding day both Cathie and Al were fun yet professional and caputured some truly amazing moments. They made sure to grab us to find the perfect shot at different points throughout the entire day but never felt like a chore- especially since my wife and I are not the type to enjoy a photo shoot. Friends and family immediately commented on the quality of our photography and we couldn’t agree me! Cannot recommend them enough- truly a fantastic experience.

Cathie and Al are AMAZING. From our first phone call for our wedding, Cathie and Al made everything easy. Amazing Value and Amazing People!
Finding a photographer for your wedding or any special day can be a daunting task! How can you find beautiful photos, as well as people that you vibe with and make you feel comfortable? After meeting with Cathie and Al at their home, we instantly connected and knew they were the right people to capture our special day. They got to know us as people, wanting to know what movies, TV, hobbies, and things we are into, so we could find what we have in common. We were going back and forth about if we wanted a videographer, and lucky for us Beaumonde Originals is a husband and wife team of a photographer and videographer. Cathie takes amazing photos and Al captures such special moments on film. Their additional photo and video team members are just as talented! We did our engagement photos and they helped us find locations that were unique across the city. They were totally willing to run around the city chasing beautiful locations and the sunset. Using them for our engagement photos helped us become more comfortable in front of the camera, and helped Cathie and Al learn more about us as a couple. We got our engagement photos back within a week and were able to use them for our Save the Dates.
Leading up to our wedding, we met for a venue walkthrough where we made a timeline for the big day, a list of photo locations, and sketched out lists of photos to be taken. Cathie communicated often and gave us clear lists of information and items she needed from us. This helped me stay organized and kept us both informed of important information needed for the wedding day. All of this preparation helped the big day run smoothly. The day of the wedding, the Beaumonde Originals team arrived on time and immediately got down to business. The team managed our large bridal party and families to get our photos done quickly. We were behind schedule after the ceremony went long, but the team worked efficiently to get us back on track. They captured all the special details of our big day and found unique locations for our photos. Above all, the team members at Beaumonde Originals are wonderful people to work with. They do their jobs extremely well, while being kind, passionate, and dedicated people. We wholeheartedly recommend them to capture your big day!

Made our big day perfect!
We literally do not have the words to describe how amazing Cathie and Al have been.
They’ve both been an absolute pleasure to work with. Prior to our wedding, Cathie put us at ease right away during our location walk-through. We laughed lots during the big day and the photos turned out beautifully. Also, we should note that the weather was not being cooperative that day (was very windy) and Cathie and Al did a great job of improvising and making the best of the situation.
Cathie and Al were able to capture all of the many wonderful moments during our wedding that we would want photos of, and even some that we even didn’t know were happening!
The photos are just fantastic and really capture that moment in time for us perfectly. We cannot encourage you enough to book Cathie and Al for your wedding – you will be so happy that you did!

If you are undecided about your wedding day (or any other big life event) photographer, look no further! You must go with Cathie and Al Green from BG Productions. They are locally based Philly photographers but love to travel and are sooo accommodating so I'm sure they would go wherever you needed them. First, when my husband and I met with them, we met at their home office. Their office was profession but also fun and eclectic, and BONUS we got to hang out with their furry friends. It was apparent from the first meeting that Cathie and Al were willing to listen to all of our ideas to ensure our wedding day was exactly what we wanted. Any time I had questions, Cat would immediately respond via email or phone. On the actual wedding day, Cat and Al arrived early and ready to get to work! They were so friendly and helpful to all bridal party members (thank you Al for getting the groomsmen ready and set up since they were disorganized!). I was nervous during our first look pictures because I make this awkward face when I am smiling on demand. Cathie assured me the pictures looked awesome and actually stopped the photo shoot for a second to show me some of the candid shots that she had gotten already- and I loved them! The rest of the day I was able to relax knowing that Cathie and Al are professionals and will get the best pictures of us because that is what they DO. Cathie had a way of being assertive when needed to make sure that all the combinations of bridal and family photos were taken, but also had a way of being easy going and fun at the same time. I got so many comments from guests after the wedding that they wanted to hang out with Cat and Al again because they were so great. I have only seen a few pictures so far, but from what I have seen, the pictures are truly amazing and I can't wait to see the rest! Well worth the cost for pictures that I know will be breathtaking!

To sum up my experience with Cat and Al in two words it was priceless and perfect! I can’t say enough good things about them. From the very beginning when we met until after our wedding day they have made every step such a magical and perfect moment. This was the best day of my life that went by so quick and looking back now the only thing I have to remember it is the beautiful pictures and video they took. Out of everything that we booked for the day this is was hands down the best investment we made.
On the wedding day, Cat, Al, Jen, and Beth were basically our wedding planners! They went over and beyond from fixing my cake after my wedding planner put the card box top on the top of the cake (my wedding planner was terrible lol) to jumping in a stream barefoot to get the right shot of us to making sure I was calm and everything was going smoothly. There was another wedding going on the same time as mine and Cat went over (without me even asking) and made sure that it wouldn’t interrupt ours. The entire day anytime anyone asked me what was going on I just said “Ask Cat” and she took care of it! There are so many little things she did throughout the day that helped with the day going smoothly that were not part of her role, but she does it because she truly cares. On top of that, our pictures came out breathtaking! All of our friends and family are raving about the photos and are saying they have never seen such amazing wedding photos before.
I remember reading reviews for BG before we booked our wedding and them all saying how Cat and Al are now great friends of theirs and not only are they talented, but great people. I couldn’t explain it any better. They are amazing people and will be lifelong friends of ours now. I could go on all day about how great they were, but honestly our pictures speak for themselves. Cat & Al are simply amazing - amazing at what they do and amazing individuals! We knew we had the right people to capture our special day the second we talked to them. They were warm, funny and took time to get to know us. We loved getting to know them and can’t wait to see them again! 5 stars isn't enough!
Our wedding pictures are simply stunning as well as capture all the big moments and small details. They sent sneak peaks within a day and created a beautiful photo blog 2 weeks later. Looking at them just takes us back like we’re reliving our wedding day. We wanted our day to be about the people around us who were there to help make it memorable - Cat & Al captured that - we look at the pics and chuckle at the funny moments, and are in awe at how they’ve caught our emotions. We can’t wait for the video - best advice we were given. If you’re thinking about whether to video your wedding - do it! The day goes by in a flash and having Al there to memorialize it is a must!
Our bridal party loved them and their team - really enjoyed sharing in lots of laughs. Cat is so organized and keeps you on track which is so important on a hectic day like your wedding.
If you’re just looking for a photographer and/or videographer that will work off a checklist, are impersonal and are there just to do a job - find someone else. These are people who are passionate about what they do and care about who they do it with. Their work is fantastic and they are fantastic people more importantly. We enjoyed our time with Cat & Al and honestly can’t imagine anyone else capturing our special moments in the future. More so, we feel like we’re built a friendship. We had our engagement shoot with cat and al and it was fantastic! We are not the most affectionate couple so sometimes having us kiss on Que is awkward for us, but they made it very easy! We cannot explain how grateful that Cat and Al SOMEHOW had an opening in their super-busy schedules when we booked them last minute for our June 2016 wedding! We had a really bad experience with our original photographer that led us searching for a new one with only TWO MONTHS to spare! Luckily, one of their weddings ended up being moved so they were available. And, honestly, although having to find a new photographer so close to our wedding was incredibly stressful - I believe, at the end of the day, that it was truly "meant to be." After clicking via our initial Skype convo, we met up with Cat and Al for a last minute mini-engagement shoot - mainly to get to know each other better and talk about our thoughts for our wedding day. My partner and I have some insecurities being in front of the camera, but Cat and Al made us feel cool, calm, and collected the entire time. They found ways to allow us to be comfortable, natural, and authentic. We knew after that day we made the right decision! And, as expected, they were a DREAM on our wedding day. They kept us on schedule but were also flexible when things didn't go exactly according to plan. After the big day, we received our photos soooo quickly - and relished in how many amazing shots they were able to capture. The best part of working with BG is that we now feel truly part of their family - and know that we have made friends for life. We cannot recommend them enough! Also SUPER LGBTQ inclusive - in case anyone needed that info as well! :)

My husband and I have been able to relive our entire wedding day through their pictures. Being an interracial couple we were very nervous about who was going to photograph us. From the second they arrived at my parents' house that morning, they contributed to the wonderful atmosphere. They were fun, calming, and helpful, yet wonderfully assertive. They did an amazing job of KINDLY directing everyone all day. They were never rude or pushy, but made it clear that they took their job very seriously. Their creativity is infectious. In the last two weeks, I've been able to view sneak peeks of my wedding pictures via Facebook, Instagram, and even a thoughtful blog post! If you want eclectic, artistic, unique and fabulous wedding photos you gotta use BG! Cat Is the best and so easy to work with. I actually chose them for my Philadelphia, Pa wedding all the way in AZ! I just loved the vibe of their work. It was so unique and polished I knew I HAD to go with them. I never got a chance to met the amazingly talented Cat in person Bc she was in Iceland during my wedding but it was totally fine and we worked it all out perfectly. She helped me so much along the way and was always available to answer any questions/ concerns and made us feel at ease about the entire process. Mere words cannot express our gratitude and love for Cathie and Al Berrey-Green for all their help throughout the wedding process with engagement photos, planning out our big day, easing our wedding stresses, the day of the wedding, and the beautiful pictures and video afterward. Their artwork is incredible, and we are truly grateful for these two remarkable people and their love for their work and clients. Cathie and Al are a great team, which made working with them so easy, enjoyable and loads of fun. They put their hearts into their work, and it shows in every picture and video clip. When we received our video and album after the wedding, we were just blown away by the quality of their work.
On our wedding day, these two were simply amazing. Cathie is assertive and not afraid to use her voice, which was extremely helpful during pictures. I have been to weddings with shy photographers who are afraid to ask people to move. You will not worry about this with Cathie, and she will make sure to get all the best shots. Al did an excellent job in helping to get the right angles and lighting for every shot. As my wife and I often reminisce about our wedding day and the months leading up it, as well as the months following it, we often think about how important and special the role Cathie and Al played in the entire process. We were so lucky to find them, and hiring them for our wedding was the smartest decision we made.

After walking out of my first meeting with Cat and Al I couldn't stop smiling and knew that I had to have them as my photographer and videographer. BG WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST....Everything we could want and need they tried to provide and DELIVERED....
1st - We wanted to do something fun for our SAVE THE DATE and it ended up being a DRONE filled City view of Philadelphia detailing a Full Day of us from our home in Manayunk, to the Art Museum steps, outfit changes, South St., Dinner and Drinks and City Hall....Our Family and Friends thought it was the most anticipated Wedding event to attend just based on how we set the bar high with such a fun announcement of our wedding
2nd - They went overboard to include us in the planning...experience that they've had in other weddings (What to do, what to try and avoid)...More importantly, they listened to us and applied our energy, thoughts and plans to their plans...and how to best put together a great event...
3rd - They are our friends...We ended up inviting them to our NIGHT BEFORE EVENT as guests and without cameras so they could enjoy themselves but also, they were able to interact with our guests and get to know our VIBE before the big day....They fit in perfectly and we appreciated the passion they put into their work
FINALLY - They made our wedding a HIT....our family was impressed with their 'go out of their way approach' to capture every shot....I didn't notice them at all once we started the ceremony, which to me is a sign of professionalism and them knowing how to capture and not be seen....
We have only seen glimpses of our Wedding photos from BG Group as it very recent, but from what we have seen....Im OVERLY impressed and already know that it will be an unbelievable video and album captured....

LOVE Cat and Al!!! They were so easy to work with and made us feel at ease throughout the entire process! All of our wedding guests commented on how great they both were as well! I would recommend the photo booth to everyone! Our guests had such a fun time and we have great photos from it! I am so happy that we found them and that we had them capture our day. My husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice of BG Productions to capture our special day. Cathy and Al made us feel comfortable in their home when we went for our first consultation, and it wall all smooth sailing from there. They clearly take a lot of pride in their work, and their energy is contagious. We had such fun taking photos on that day, it felt like we were hanging out with real friends. Cathy is phenomenal when it comes to helping plan the outline of the day and took a lot of pressure off of me in order to get all the shots that we wanted without having to carry around a list or organize people. We chose the BG team to photograph and video record our wedding a month ago and we couldn't be happier with that decision! This was based on the great work they did at my best friends wedding in 2012, we were fortunate that they had our date available when it came time to book everything for our own big day. The team did an incredible job of capturing and incorporating all the little details we put into our wedding. We knew from our initial meeting with Cat & Al that they were the photo & video team we wanted to go with for our September wedding. After our first meeting, we scheduled our engagement session at Franklin Square park & the Ben Franklin Bridge at their recommendation - and we couldn't have been happier with those pictures! The day went perfect, we received our photos so fast & we were then counting down the days to the wedding!
We were in communication with both Cat & Al leading up to the big day, making sure we were all on the same page with timing, location, & our requested family shots. Again, Cat & Al recommended a FANTASTIC location for our First Look and for our bridal party & family photos.
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks so Cat, Al & their assistant Matt. They were timely, professional & SO MUCH FUN! My husband & I both are not the most comfortable in front of a camera, and the BG team made us feel so comfortable and natural and captured our day so perfectly. They happily accommodated some requests from our officiant, & were quick to help us finish our thanks to family & friends so that my husband & I could enjoy ourselves out on the dance floor during the reception!
We were thrilled to have a blog post & some pictures of the wedding before we left for our honeymoon! We did not expect such a fast turn around on those pictures and it made us so happy to see some images from the day that we could share with family & friends before our trip. Our friends & family have been raving about the photos they've seen so far, and we all can't wait to see the rest of the photos and the video from our day!
I can't thank Cat, Al, Matt & the rest of their team for all of their hard work! We are recommending them to all of our family & friends for upcoming weddings, and also plan to use them for future shoots once we start expanding our family! :) They both have such a great eye &are sure to capture your day exactly how you imagine it. We used BG for our engagement session and wedding and can't say enough good things about them! Their work itself is incredible, but even beyond that, they're such a pleasure to work with. From our first meeting with Cathie and Al, we knew they were a perfect fit. They're down to earth, really open to ideas and take the time to get to know all of their clients. For our engagement session, they put us completely at ease, making us comfortable in front of the camera. The day of the wedding, they handled all the stress like pros. They kept us on schedule and made what could have been a very hectic day a breeze. And, they're willing to go above an beyond for the perfect shot; Cathie was laying on the dance floor at one point, and another shooter was up in a tree! My husband and I HIGHLY recommend BG Productions! Cat and Al were so talented, professional, helpful and fun throughout the entire process of wedding plan, up to the big day and even afterwards. Photos were the part of the wedding that my husband and I were both so nervous about. It's easy to panic when you think about how much truly needs to be, well, thought about! Thankfully, we found BG Productions and they kept our day running smoothly while taking the most GORGEOUS photos. All you need to do is look at their website to see that their specialty is taking photos that truly capture who you are. They showcase your own personality and joy like nobody else I've ever seen. While I think they did that better than most photographers, I think what truly makes them special is how wonderful they are to work with! Everything is easy breezy with BG. You don't need to tell them what to do because they are experts in the field. You don't have to tell them what to say and do, but they become buddies with your bridal party and guests within minutes. A splurge that was worth every penny! Cathie and Al were everything we could have hoped for and more. From their upbeat energy to the beauty of their photography, I can't recommend them highly enough! Very LGBT friendly! Our (supposedly) outdoor wedding turned into a downpour, and they didn't miss a beat. With their amazing creativity, we got some amazing pictures and plenty of laughs. Call them. NOW! :)

Perfect! We loved everything! We booked both photography and videography through them. The photographs are so beautiful. My husband and I are not the most photogenic and we're also quite awkward but they somehow made us look like a million bucks! Cathie, Al and Jen were the sweetest. They helped us in so many ways from showing me how to walk with my dress, to helping my husband with his handerchief. We had no idea what we were doing! I can't wait to see all of the photos and the video but from what I've already seen they will be fabulous!

We can not say enough wonderful things about Cat and Al! Many of my dearest friends had horror stories of not having any pictures after paying hundreds of dollars on a photographer, so when my fiance' and I went looking for someone to capture our memories- boy did we hunt! My wedding was over four years ago, and still what sticks out as a major highlight for me is BG Productions. From the minute I first met with them, and through it all, I felt like they just got me and understood what kind of images and video I wanted from the day. They got amazing shots, especially of the ceremony which in a pitch black planetarium was no easy feat. I loved the way the photos and video came out, the packaging everything arrived in was a plus. I have recommended BG time and time again to friends and clients, and will continue to do so. In my opinion, they really are the tops in PA (and surrounding.)

Cat and Al were amazing!!!! From the beginning to the end! We had both our engagement photos and wedding photos done by Cat and Al. They are very professional and incredibly knowledgable when it comes to their craft, but are so fun to work with at the same time! I really think one of the reasons is because they have an awesome relationship, they are so happy together so you can't help but be happy, smiling and having a good time. They were great about keeping on a schedule the day of to maximize photos, while being precise! We had a plan going into the wedding day and stuck to it. This may not seem like a big deal, but it is! What can take an hour or more, was accomplished in 15-20 minutes (family and bridal party photos). Not only was every photo in that 15-20 minutes perfect, but we were able to make it to cocktail hour. :) This was only possible because of how diligently Cat and Al planned, their years of experience and their great eye. Cat and Al deliver! It's really that simple! The raw photos looked amazing, which is just a testament to that! Being able to take a flawless photo that needs no retouching... that is talent! We reviewed a lot of photographers in the DC metro area and no one came nearly as highly recommended as Cat and Al. Even though they're based in Philadelphia, they were more than willing to come down to DC to do our wedding and we could not be happier with their work.
They were absolutely worth the extra money/accommodations to have them do our wedding. Our venue was in Strong Mansion at Sugarloaf Mountain in Maryland. Cat and Al were prepared for the weather to go south during our wedding but we lucked out. The weather was gorgeous and they really captured the moment in their pictures.
Our guests loved posing for them. Our other vendors loved working with them. And we loved having them at our wedding in general. Our pictures came out magnificently. Our family and friends enjoyed all the pictures. Most of them used our pictures as their profile pics :)

Cat and Al were recommended to my husband and I by our wedding planner and they are PHENOMENAL! They managed to capture every aspect of our wedding and we have only seen the Mini album! They got such wonderful pictures. I find myself looking at the mini album throughout the day. When you meet with Cat and Al initially they instantly become your friends. They take the time to get to know your personality and this reflects in the photography. The day of our wedding, it was amazing to watch Cat and Al work together. Most of the time the things they were seeing in the background, and my husband and I would shrug and just say ok because of course we couldn't see it. Now looking at the pictures it is incredible how they can see a sunset or a treeline and know the pictures will be amazing. If you are looking for photography, look no further! I don’t even know where to start with a review for BG Productions, besides they are the BEST AT EVERYTHING! Not only were they our awesome wedding photographers, but they have become our friends. They became my assistant wedding planners, therapists, etc!!! Every detail that they see for photography is amazing. I got so many compliments throughout the wedding day of how awesome and on point our family and friends thought they were! They are totally present throughout the wedding process and their jobs never stop. Cat & Al go SO above and beyond for all of their clients that it is evident how much they care about every single person they do business with. From the moment we met Cat and Al, we had a good feeling we were going to get along famously. The first thing that makes itself apparent in collaborating with them is just how passionate they are about what they do for a living. Even more than that, Cat and Al don't just have a passion for photography, they have a passion for connecting with all of their clients on a much more personal, down-to-earth level.
Before we even got down to talking turkey, this wonderful pair wanted to know about us as a couple. How did we meet? What brought us together? Any funny stories so far in the story of us? They take the personalities of their clients and tailor their professional approach accordingly. As a result, not only are we looking at flawless quality, amazingly professional photographs, but they're photographs that perfectly capture "us" and all the ways we truly made our wedding day "ours".
Cat and Al were always present all night. They were out on the dance floor, mingling with the tables, capturing the reception as the evening progressed. Not only were they hard at work, but you could see how much they enjoyed being a part of the evening with us.
More specifically to our evening, we ended up running about an hour behind schedule, it was unforeseen and required game-day decisions. We showed willingness to pick up the pace to ensure we didn't miss any of the photo opportunities we had discussed, and Cat and Al were great at moving us to all the spots, capturing several different shots, and moving along. We never felt stressed, we never felt pressured, they were there for us to make sure we were there for our guests to bask in all our newlywed glory.
Cat & Al were perfect with the formal shots, but way more importantly, they excel at finding the candid moments with the unscripted dance poses, ear-to-ear smiles, a rare moment of downtime. These photos transport us right back to the big night, captured moments we'll remember always. Love these two!

BG Productions consistently exceeded our expectations. We purchased a package including 8hrs on the wedding day + video, an engagement shoot, and a love story (video) shoot that we used then for our wedding invitation.
The engagement/love story shoot was a blast and the photos they captured were immaculate. The video was raved about by our friends and family! Plus they made sure to include our son, which was priceless. We’ve already seen our mini-album from our wedding day and LOVED them. We absolutely can’t wait to see the remainder of the photos and the video.
Cat and Al are fun and quirky, but still know how to get the job done... exceedingly well. Also important, they are great people. We look forward to seeing them each and every time.

Cat and Al were so talented and professional and treated us more than clients. They truly care about all there clients and want the best for their special day. We did an engagement shoot with them as well and it was a great way to get to know our photographer/videograher before our wedding day. Cat also recommended to us our day of wedding coordinator and it was the best decision we ever made about our wedding besides hire BG Productions. So they are very knowledgeable about the business. Our photos and video were amazing, they were exactly what we wanted and are walls are now filled with framed photos and canvases from our special day. Cathie and Al are not only passionate about their work, but they are passionate about their clients as well. We chose BG on recommendations from coworkers, and it was great to know going into it how easy they'd be to work with, and how awesome the photos would be. That they had worked at our wedding venue (Audubon Center in Oaks, PA) MANY times sealed the deal. Plus, as a fellow crazy cat lady, I was a big fan of Cat (and Al!) immediately. Cathie & Al of BG Productions are more than just photographers - they're like your own little cheering squad on your wedding day (and those leading up to it)! Their work is absolutely gorgeous and they truly captured the spirit of our wedding through their work. The photos are incredible! They are detailed, fun, and meticulous but in a spontaneous kind of way. Their energy and excitement aren't for everyone (trust me, I heard about it post-wedding -- everyone has something to say, don't they!) so if you're planning a boring, somber affair (zzz), look elsewhere. We could not be happier with the images Cat and Al captured for us on our wedding day. They are so unique and so well done, compliments have been flying our way since we shared them. How fortunate it was for us to find Cat and Al. Not only are they phenominal artists but they are also fabulous people. The moment that my daughter and I met these amazing photographers and viewed their work, we knew that we had found what we were looking for. Their work speaks volumes - i.e. a picture is worth a thousand words. Please do yourself a favor, meet Cat and Al and see examples of their work. I have no doubt that you will be the next client. We also had the photo booth at the wedding. These photos are nothing short of fantastic. Our guests had such a good time hamming it up and trying out different props. Who doesn't love to be a "star"? I highly recommend this amazing couple.

Al and Cathie aren't just amazing photographers, they are amazing people. Yes, their photos are drop-dead gorgeous, but they also made so many good suggestions about things to include (or not include) in the wedding and really contributed to the festive atmosphere. They really got us as a couple, and their photos really let our personalities shine through. When hiring a photographer remember that you've got to spend all day with these people, so you really want people who are not just competent, but also confidants. Al and Cathie were that for us.

My Husband and I have used BG Productions for our engagement photos, a family session, and our Wedding. We were just married on November 9th, 2013. From the first time I heard of BG Productions, to the time I saw their work, to the first time we met them, to every email I sent to them, and to our Wedding Day..they have been AMAZING!!! I searched for photographers for months trying to find the right one, my Husband thought I was crazy for putting so much though into who we wanted. But once we met Cathie and Al from BG, we both fell in love. They have awesome personalities and are extremely talented. Cathie and Al are the BEST PHOTOGRAPHERS we've ever met. No detail is missed and they work together so well always pointing out to the other little things. Booking BG Productions was the best wedding planning decision we made. Some vendors can be flakey and stress you out, BG never once made me stress. BG Productions are our lifetime photographers! Cathie and Al are such an amazing, fun, friendly, and talented power couple!

Let me just tell you, I LOVE CATHIE & AL!!! Not only are they one of the absolute cutest couples on the planet, they're extremely dedicated & literally, we could not STOP Cat from moving (and the poor thing was hobbling all around, she got lymes disease in her leg & it was painful!!!); the girl is amazing. She even had lined up someone she could call on if she needed to substitute to go back to the doctors, but she probably sleeps with one eye open so she never misses anything ;) I was SO glad she could make it because what she does is pure art... and I couldn't have had more fun with a pair of such professionals!!! ALSO, they are NOT scared to tell your guests to get out of their shot!!!
BEST advice I could give now that all is said & done is this... ASK that *NO* PHOTOS are taken at the ceremony (who wants to look at the back of Uncle Joe's head as he JUMPS in front of the *PAID* PROFESSIONAL's shot & blocks her view of THE KISS!!!!!!!!!!!
TRUST ME in this... NOBODY needs to take photos but Cathie at the ceremony.... you'll thank me for this later cause your shots of people in the room will look a billion times better without all the cameras out.... and (I wish I had done this...) Consider asking the guests turn off the flash on their cameras. I had wanted to say this but was talked out of it- didn't want to make "too many announcements"; SCREW THAT!! ANNOUNCE IT WHEN YOU ANNOUNCE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO THE CAKE.... just toss it in!!!! well... our photo cutting the cake got totally washed out by one of our guests" flash" bulb.... I CAN HOPE THEY GOT A GREAT PHOTO & ARE WILLING TO SHARE IT!!!!!! (but no... often times these are those people using "auto" settings & take absolutely terrible photos, trust me... my mom is this person)
OK this is getting to be a tutorial... but seriously!
1) Hire Cat & Al
2) answer the question: Do I know ANYONE in particular who takes really good photographs?
If (no) EASY!!! just ban cameras

They work with you and help you before and after your wedding with photography and cinema. It's amazing how well they work together and know how to capture your special day in the best way. I truly have genuine love for Cathie & Al. My wife and I, met them at the venue showcase and instantly fell in love with Cat & Als work. It is truly something very unique that you will never find with any other photographer/videographer. Their style is truly one of a kind....and I love love love the retro, vintage throwback vibe in everything they do.
We booked Cathie & Al for our engagement pictures, save the date video, a full day of photography and video the day of and we also have booked them for two family sessions before our wedding.
All of our experiences have been amazing with Cat & Al. I can truly say we have become more then clients to them. We have grown to have a great relationship with them and also other clients they have worked with. They truly treat you like family and my wife and I consider them very close friends now.
If you are looking for a photographer/videographer that is passionate about what they do, that brings something very unique and vintage to your photography/video needs definitely give Cat & Al a shout. I highly recommend BG Productions! Cathie was a joy to work with and so much fun. We had a small wedding with no bridal party and no dancing, so we worked out a shorter photography window to reduce cost. Cathie and her assistant, Colleen, were fun and funny on the day of the wedding. We felt totally at ease during all of the pictures. Cathie and Colleen captured amazing pictures of us around Philadelphia. They managed to take pictures that were both iconic and unique. Yes, we had the traditional City Hall picture, but it was from the North side of City Hall, which gives a different view than all of the other brides' City Hall kiss pictures.
Cathie got our proofs back to us so quickly! This was really helpful since family who couldn't make it were anxious to see them. We love the pictures and it is hard to pick which ones to put in an album!
All in all, BG Productions was a great value, and we received excellent, personalized service from Cathie. Highly recommend!!

Cathie and Al are an amazing photography/videography team who were professional and informative from our first meeting. We had two shooters, a videographer and an open air photo booth and they captured our wedding beautifully. so far, we have seen a mini sneak album from our 8/24/2013 wedding and all of the photographs are spectacular. i need to get a bigger house to have wall space for the amount i want to frame! the photo booth is so fun and so worth it and a definite value as the photos are available on-line the next day and a digital version is free for all guests and available for a little over a month after the wedding.

Stop everything you are doing and contact them to make sure they are available for your date. Seriously, look no further...whether hours upon hours of wedding research or a fabulous twist of fate brought you to the BG Productions page, you had better get on your knees and thank your lucky stars/guardian angels/psychic friends/awesome Googling skills because you will NEVER again find a team quite like Cat & Al. If you were hoping to have outstanding, hard-working, professional, friendly, visionary and supportive vendors on your side, you are in the right place.
My husband found BG Productions online after my "dream" photographer quoted us with an outrageous price for photography and videography. This vendor was not helpful and offered us a "junior photographer" and about two hours of services for our budget along with a "not my problem" attitude. That is why BG will forever remain my knights in shining armor for treating us with respect and providing an insane level of personalized quality service. We booked an engagement session, photography, and videography with Cat & Al and let me tell you - there is no price you can put on feeling comfortable and confident with the people you have chosen to record the best day of your life.
Meeting Cat & Al during our e-session in NYC was like being with old friends and on the day of our wedding, their knowledge and positive attitudes kept the entire wedding alive and on track. Fast forward to a short time later and we have our photos, video teaser, and full Blu-ray video...we are over the moon IN LOVE with our wedding images. Seeing our family, friends, and each of our wedding details made the happiness and joy of that day come flooding back to our hearts. Do not expect service like theirs from every photographer because I can guarantee you will be let down!!!

Where do I even begin? My wedding planning process was anything but typical or easy. My mom was diagnosed with a rare cancer right as my husband and I were engaged and she insisted that we go forward with our plans. That made things extremely difficult and emotional for me, and I ended up doing everything on my own. I had no idea where to begin with anything and cried from stress frequently. Luckily my friend got married on NYE and BG productions did her photos and video. I absolutely fell in love with Cat and Al's enthusiasm, skills, and what seemed to be "undercover" photography. So my choice seemed obvious. We booked them shortly thereafter. I emailed Cat several times throughout the process and she always responded immediately and always with extremely helpful tips and advice. Because my husband and I live far away we didn't actually get to meet Cat and Al until 2 months before the wedding and all I can say is that I wish we could have done so sooner. I felt like they were are life long friends and they both eased my nerves in a way I cannot describe. After that meeting I actually felt like things were coming together. Then came wedding day. Well let me tell you Cat (and Al) saved me. They walked in the door as I was getting my hair and make up done which must have been fate because I started balling when I saw my hair. It was far from what I wanted. Cat came up to me and hugged me and encouraged me like she was my mother or sister. And Al told me how beautiful I looked after the hairstylist fixed my hair, which seems mundane but made me feel so secure. To top it all off, my mom loved them both. She and Cat hit it off talking about all the heirlooms and antiques at the house. My mom is still raving! We had such a great time laughing, crying, and dancing together with Cat and Al and I just wish we could hang out again!!! Maybe I will just do another photo shoot :) I cannot thank BG Productions enough and I highly recommend them!!

From the very first moment I met Cat, I knew BG productions would be a great fit for our wedding. Down to earth, funny, friendly, and overall great to be around. Throughout the entire process, she checked in with us frequently to make sure we were happy and comfortable with how things were going. When you're looking for an opinion, you get an open and honest one and yet always respectful and considerate. Your needs are always put first.
We decided halfway through our planning year that we wanted to add video and we are soooo happy we did. Al is simply wonderful! And Cat and Al truly make an amazing team together. We can't imagine one without the other.
The day of the wedding, they work hard to get the best job done but they know how to have a good time doing it. They go above and beyond. Cat even helped get me into my dress and help work on repairing my broken earrings! The work itself is gorgeous. They have great eyes. They know how to catch the best moments and will do whatever it takes to make it happen. Lora who helped out that day was also great! She helped catch a number of beautiful moments and was a joy to work with as well.
Cat posted a picture of my dad and I before 24 hours had passed and an entire mini album within 2-3 days. So awesome seeing those moments while you're still riding high from the day's events.
Words can't do them justice (and certainly not the amount allowed in this review). I would recommend BG over and over and over again.

BG Productions is amazing! We were so thank you to them for celebrating our special day with us. The pair have a unique way of being there at all the right times to capture the most important moments with the candid shots.
From day one, when we met Cat and Al they made us feel at ease. It was like we were old friends. Throughout the pre-wedding process BG Productions were always available to answer any questions that we had and always responded quickly. It was amazing to see how BG Productions worked side by side and used the various items: the dress, shoes, bouquet, and rings. They always knew the perfect location for each shot to create an amazing look. When we had our “first look,” everyone was in position to capture that once in a lifetime moment. The feelings we had at that moment will never be forgotten and now we have the perfect photo and video to serve as a constant reminder of our love for one another. As we wanted to incorporate our dog, Cat and Al knew just how to get her attention – making a rambunctious dog look like a pro.
During the reception not only did they take wonderful candid shots but participated in the various games and activities we had which only further displayed their fun-loving spirits. Cat and Al not only concerned with their work, but always took the time to make sure we were enjoying our day. It is amazing to see how BG Productions fit perfectly into the atmosphere.
Since the wedding every conversation we have had with our guests has included multiple comments about how wonderful BG Productions was with numerous people asking for their contact information. Everyone was amazed at how talented BG was, as evidenced by the “sneak peak” that was provided. True to form Cat was right on top of it and our sneak peak was up in 24 hours…..AMAZING, who else would have done that? We can’t wait to see the others and are super excited to see Al’s talents on display in the video. BG Productions was our best decision!

Recommend, Recommend, Recommend. Cat, Colleen and Al are the best in what they do. Not only are they professional, creative and fun, they are sweet, caring and lovely. I found them through Off Beat Bride and right away I knew they were the ones! I contacted them and they got back to me right away. All the emails and communications have been super fast and easy to understand.
Cat has so much experience in everything, she provided insight on timelines, weather, and people. Al is super sweet, easy going and awesome with his videography. While Colleen holds it down, helping both and being the second shooter, providing different angles for the photography.
They helped with the planning, took control when I didn't want to and gave me hugs when I was feeling nervous. They really go above and beyond to make things happen, and keep the client happy.
They are super fast, I got my mini album and photo booth photos 3 days later and I am in love with all of them. I can't wait to see the full album and video! Book them already! You won't regret it!

Cathie and Al are incredible in every way. My husband and I were looking for the perfect company and got more than we bargained for. My husband hates pictures but with these two he was laughing, calm and enjoying it all. We even did an engagement shoot and love story without complaint. They are the most down to earth and creative people I know. I would never have imagined that we would have this relationship with them that will continue with a maternity and newborn shoot. They are part of the family! I recommend them to anyone and everyone. My family can't stop talking about the stunning photos!

I found out about BG Productions on The Knots website. They had great reviews and their prices were very affordable. We had met with one or two other photographers, they seemed nice. But when we met Al and Cat at our coffee shop, my now husband and I were blown away. They were just the nicest genuine people EVER! Their portfolios and videos were so amazing, we got both!
We met every so often to go over plans. Cat was very helpful and gave good advise. They sent us care packages with things to keep calm about a month or two before the wedding, just as all wedding problems came down on us. The day of the wedding, when I was feeling super anxious, they sent everyone out of the room and it was just the three of us. They made me feel so much better, and they got some amazing shots in!
My husband and I received our photos yesterday and they really captured every single moment that day. I honestly don't know how to choose my favorite, they are all fantastic! They were on the dance floor part of the party, taking photos. I am amazed at our dancing shots. We had over 200 guests and I am pretty sure they captured all of them doing the Hora.
I would absolutely recommend BG Productions to any one who needs a photographer. I want to thank Cat, Al, and Collen for making our day so memorable. We can't wait to see the video! Choosing BG Productions was one of the best decisions we ever made!

We LOVE BG Productions! We were totally nervous about the whole "being in front of the camera" thing but Cat and Al are such professionals and are so, so good at what they do that they not only create amazing pictures, they also make their subjects feel at ease throughout. If I could give Cat & Al 10 stars i would! They are the ultimate team, and were one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Originally we were just going to do photography, but after seeing Al's work we had to get video too. BEST DECISION EVER! We just got our video yesterday and watched it- it was incredible and brought us back to our wedding day! Cat captured our day perfectly, the pictures are amazing and there are so many to choose from! Not only is Cat awesome at photography but she could double as a wedding coordinator, she kept us organized the entire day with time and directed us with everything--the day went so smoothly! I cant wait to use them for future events, I wouldn't want to celebrate any important event in our lives without them!

I wish I could describe Cat and Al of BG Productions in one word, but that's impossible. They are talented, caring, amazing, friendly, professional, energetic, encouraging, original, helpful and wonderful people who love what they do and it really shows through their work. I am so happy that they were able to photograph our wedding, they did such an amazing job and I love all of our photos. The got so many pictures and such a great variety of shots. They also did our engagment shoot and Cat was under the weather that day, but still was like a ninja with a camera and she and Al did an amazing job that day as well. They refer to their clients as the "BG Family" and it really does feel that you are part of the family :) I have and will continue recommending BG Productions to everyone and anyone I know looking for a photographer and/or videographer, they are wonderful.

I wasn't the kind of bride who always dreamed of their wedding, so sometimes I didn't quite know how to articulate what I wanted. Originally, my husband was anxious about having a large portion of our wedding budget go towards photography. "Our family takes pictures" "Friends take pictures."
After hiring Cathie and Al he quickly realized how wrong he had been. The two were an absolute pleasure to work with and did an amazing job on capturing our engagement photos and wedding day pictures. Not only were they amazing photographers, but the two acted as a defacto wedding planner with our schedule that day. Every family member was seen and everyone got their own lovely pictures.
We have a large portion of both our families abroad and being able to let them view the online gallery was a treat as well.
I would highly recommend BG Productions to anyone they are well worth it the long run.

When we first meet Cathie and Al, we immediately knew that they would be perfect for our offbeat wedding. After seeing our video and photos, we are so happy with them.

We are so happy we picked Cat and Al from BG Productions as our wedding photographers! They captured our special day beautifully from start to finish. They were completely professional to work with, yet fun, creative and quirky. They brought great energy to our wedding- they knew when we needed to have our nerves calmed, knew when we needed a moment to ourselves, and knew when it was time to let loose and have fun! Nothing felt forced or too posed with them and they found a way of making sure the photos were all about us and just what we wanted. They were more than just photographers; they were full of advice and guidance that made our big day go off without a hitch. Their photos speak for themselves, but I can't say enough about how nice it was to work with such a great couple.
Also, this review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the amazing BG Booth! The BG Booth is BG's version of a traditional photo booth—except it is so much more fun! We have had so many guests tell us how much fun they had with the BG Booth and they (and we) all loved seeing the posts from the booth in the days after the wedding. We were en route to our honeymoon when Cat posted them and we could barely rip ourselves away from the computer because it was so fun to relive the night and see all the hilarious and fun pictures that people took. There were a few things that made it way better than a regular photo booth: 1) it was much less expensive! (great if you are trying to stay on budget) 2) it fits way more people (we got a hilarious picture of my dad's whole family) and 3) the photos turn out so much better because you have an actual professional photographer taking them who can make sure that everyone is in the frame and smiling, etc. We were so, so happy we decided to add it at the last minute. I definitely recommend it!

What can I say about Cat and Al from BG Productions? First, I loved their portfolio online, and the price was even better! Then, when I met them for a consultation, I immediately felt comfortable and confident in them. In the year that followed from the time that we signed the contract and the actual wedding date, Cat was extremely proactive in contacting me to just touch base and let me know that she was around. It was awesome not having to worry about initiating contact and making sure everything was still going according to plan with her because you always have to worry about every other vendor when planning your wedding. I also didn't worry about booking my wedding with them and then getting someone else completely different on my wedding day like I might have with one of the large photography companies.
During the wedding, Cat and Al were awesome as expected. Cat especially helped with little issues, like how to hold up my dress without making it look like a wrinkly mess and cutting the cake without it collapsing. Cat and Al also made sure that the schedule that we developed together did not get off track.
And the PICTURES! The real reason I'm writing this! I cannot express how beautiful those pictures are. You can tell that just by meeting them, working with them, and looking at the pictures that Cat and Al truly love what they do. They are truly artists. You will love them like I do!

Cat and Al at BG Productions are great to work with. They capture your event in a way that we wanted them to - Down to earth, artistic but fun, and in control. We met with them over pizza to be able to go over a list of pictures we would want, places we would want to have them, and what the overall feel we wanted to have by the end products. They helped us stay realistic. On our day, they took the pressure off of us to get everyone where they needed to be and whisked us away. They gave us a moment to take it all in and made taking pictures fun. We chose to take pictures at the Bassett's Ice Cream counter at Reading Terminal for the sentimental and historic value of it - They sat with us to have ice cream and let us take care of ourselves before diving back into the festivities. They are definitely willing to go off of the beaten path to make your day as special as you'd like. We also appreciate them because of their politics and desire to help make the world a better place. You are lucky to get on their schedule.

Words cannot express how wonderful Cathie and Al are! When you first meet them, you leave feeling like you just made two new friends. They care so much about capturing your wedding day and from they sneaks we have seen so far (which were posted the next day!) they truly did an amazing job! We cannot wait to see the rest and the enjoy video! Everyone at our wedding was talking about how great they were and talked about using them in the future.

BG is awesome! Not only did they do a fabulous job on photography and videography, but they became like family. Our guests commented afterwards about how friendly Cathie and Al were and how they became part of the party while still doing their job well and maintaining professionalism. We hired Cathie and Al to capture our wedding day memories both with photography and videography! From the moment we met them, we knew that they could be the only people we would want to be with us on our day.
After a wonderful engagement shoot that we booked them for, our wedding day came. They spent at least 8 hours with us, and went above and beyond!
Having just received our photographs, wedding video and short film, I can certainly attest that their work is nothing short of amazing! Cathie captured so many wonderful shots of our families, the bridal party, the reception and ourselves; while Al made us feel like we were the stars of our very own movie! One word that describes Al and Cathie, EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!!
I was referred to Cathie and Al through my best friend who was also planning her wedding and had contracted with them. She had nothing but great things to say about the couple. I said to myself wow; I need to consult with them. Needless to say, they were our one and only Production Company we met with. From the moment we met, in Starbucks (one of my favorite hang outs) to discuss my wedding details I knew they were the ones. I had a list of questions to ask and they both answered them before I even asked; talk about being professional! The passion they exemplify for their work truly shows and is immeasurable.
They don’t treat you like a customer, they treat you like family! They host an annual customer appreciation day at their home, WOW! Every time we’ve met with them, we had great laughs and talks. Cathie even allowed our daughter, who is 4 snap a few pictures on our wedding day. We wouldn’t have it any other way, allowing Al and Cathie capture monumental moments your life is the way to go!
Cathie constantly laughed at me because I had a checklist for everything and I planned every moment of my day in its entirety; however it helped them understand my vision for my day and allowed them to help facilitate my vision and create everlasting memories. I have been meaning to write a "love letter" to Al and Cathie, but wanted it to be in a public forum so they couold get the recognition they deserve! My husband Brad and I met Al and Cathie actually last minute (and by last minute I mean a few weeks) until our wedding because our photography plans fell through. Being left without a photographer on the most sacred day of our lives was not a consideration, so this DIY Bride was on a hunt! Because Brad and I were already members of mywedding.com, it was easy to review other services in the area. The moment I looked at Al and Cathie's work - I was in love! Their style is so refreshing, fun and distinctive - and miles in creativity from any other photographer I had ever seen. I could only hope that they had a last minute opening for us! And to my surprise - they did! Al and Cathie were accessible from the moment I reached out to them, and after a quick email and phone call, we met them for coffee. From the moment we met this loving couple, it was like sitting with old friends. They were funny and attentive, but most of all, passionate about bringing their special style to our wedding day photography. I think they were as excited as we were! Also, because we were working with a budget, they worked with us regarding pricing and a package that suited our needs. It was a match made in wedding heaven! I could go on and on, but the photos speak for themselves. BG Productions is a team of true professionals, and every detail in their work speaks to that fact. To this day, I always get asked about my wedding photos, and we have even been featured on some blogs such as the Indie Bride!
Since then, Al and Cathie have definitely become apart of our family, as they have been there for every precious moment of our lives, snapping and filming away. From the day we brought our preemie son home from the NICU to his first birthday and every occasion in between, they have gone above and beyond to accomodate us. I am honored to call them friends, and am so overjoyed that they have been able to share their talents with us. I would recommend them a thousand times over!

Our Wedding was October 29, 2011. I reached out to BG Productions right away after reading reviews from Project Wedding / WeddingWire. I spoke to Cathie and felt immediately comfortable from our phone conversation. We scheduled an appointment to meet at a local Starbucks. Cathie (Photographer) and Al (Videographer) were so interested in learning about Andy and me. It felt to me as if I were hanging out with friends while telling them about our life together. They then proceeded to ask me questions and bring up ideas I had never even thought of. It inspired me and assured me that this Happy Couple will be sure to make me and Andy a Happy Couple on our Special Day. Not to mention their Photo/Video Package was priced perfectly.
As the Wedding, starting approaching, Cathie and Al continued to keep in touch as I continued to follow their work on Facebook. They always have a Sneak Peak after their couples Weddings. I enjoyed reading all of their lovely comments with the photos. It gave me chills each time I read their postings. I couldn’t wait to be the Bride and Groom they spoke so warmly about.
Our Day finally came! It snowed in October in PA for the first time in 70 years. Cathie and Al showed up, excited about how fun the photos will be with the pretty snow. They were right! Cathie and Al immediately fit into our day, as if they were part of the family. They constantly assured me as the day went on. I keep picturing Cathie during our first dance…as we were dancing; I looked down and saw Cathie lying on her side taking the most unbelievable shots. They controlled our friends and family and were by my side throughout the night. I can’t express my appreciation to Cathie and Al and am all teared up now with emotions as they truly are now so special to me.
BG Productions are true artists and will hold a special place in our hearts forever. Thank you for making our day all it could be!

BG productions was the best decision we made for our wedding!!!!!!(other than my husband) It was meant to be that we found them, and knew right away. We found them online through posts of Facebook and we choose them because of their experience at our venue, the varied styles, and the price was right!
When we met Cathie and Al, they knew our vision, the feel of the wedding, and we knew they could portray our wedding day exactly how we wanted to remember it for years to come. Leading up to our big day, we had a e-session in Chinatown, to get familiar with having our pictures taken and posing. They were awesome! We felt so comfortable and the pictures turned out unbelievable! The colors, the city feel of the pictures, and we delighted how they really captured our love. They made us feel relaxed, not rushed and talked us through every pose, and after this I had no doubt our wedding photos would be the best ever!!!!
They communicate with you every step of the way listening to all my last minute concerns of rain and helping with any ideas I needed. Their experience and passion really show through! On our wedding day they came to calm me down as a storm swept through and kept everyone out of our way as we went to out “first see” moment. I loved our first see, it was very intimate, and Cathie and Al were the right people to have capture that moment!! Throughout the day they were there to take the best shots and I loved that they really enjoyed our wedding, and they were our guests!!! They even let us sneak away for our last pictures of the night, after dancing all night, we look tired and happy and I know they captured every emotion of that day. They were awesome that day and impressed us and our family even more by posting sneak pictures the same night, and within the next day posting 20 sneak pictures!!!! When we got our photos everything was perfect including the wrapping of the package, to the pictures on the cover. There were so many great shots and I loved the editing that really made our pictures unique. We got the coolest mini accordion book, its the perfect brag book that I will show to anybody who will look!!!!! I tell everyone who will listen that we have the best photographers ever and we cant wait for all the many more times to see them and have them capture moments in our lives.

I cannot begin to explain how AWESOME this husband and wife team is! Firstly, they are so wonderfully down to earth, funny, and easy to work with. My family is still talking about how cool the photographers were at our wedding! Second, they go wayyy above and beyond the duties of a photographer. They helped with everything the day of, cheered us on when things got hectic, kept our crazy families under control, and even stole us away for an end of the night shoot so we could have some time alone together. I used BG Productions for both photography and videography for my June wedding. Their prices are very affordable which enabled me to get video too, which I don't think I otherwise would have gotten, but am thrilled that I did. Cathie has a great "eye" for shots and takes beautiful photos while Al is super talented with a video camera. Not only are they extremely professional, but they are a lot of fun to be around! Their passion for their career really shows! They were just as excited as I was on my wedding day. It was a pleasure to have them there. I highly recommend BG Productions for Photo and Video.

Strong work ethic, master photographer and videgrapher are just a couple of descriptions that come to mind, when I think of BG Productions. Lazarus and I have just had the pleasure of working with BG Productions for our wedding this past weekend! Cat and Al were AMAZING! 13 hours of non-stop work! Cat let no photo opportunity slip through her fingers!! Whatever it took from laying down on city streets, to exact timing she captured everything!!! AL belongs in Hollywood filming!!!! Al truly put my dreams together and show cased this in a sneak peak which brought my whole family to tears, I can't wait for the finished product! Al has a smooth way of capturing everything without the cameras in your face!
It does not stop there. BG Productions stepped in when certain things did not go as planned for the wedding, there wore many hats! My day was amazing bc of them! Cathie and Al are so much fun to be around--they put you at ease and get the most beautiful, detailed shots. I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to capture my special day. We just got our pics and video today and I am so thrilled and impressed. It didn't take that long to get everything only about a month. We have only looked at the outtakes and the short video and love them! I can't wait to comb through all the pics and watch the long video with my husband. My husband and I used BG Productions for our wedding on 4/19/08. We enjoyed having them work on our wedding. From our first meeting, Al and Cathie were open, comfortable, and fun. One of the things my husband and I were worried about was having a videographer who would always be RIGHT in the middle of all the action. We wanted someone who would be more "stealth-like" and get all the great shots, but be more in the background. Al was perfect. Our wedding video and photo montage is fantastic, and we enjoy looking at it over and over. Al and Cathie are professional and very business-like, but they are also very easy to work with. It's great to have a husband and wife team who understand one another so well being partners in a business such as this. I would highly recommend using Al and Cathie for your wedding/needs.

They are professional and organized, yet their upbeat fun attitudes allow you to feel comfortable and relaxed all the while keeping things moving on your busy wedding day. Cathy was able to capture exactly what we wanted our wedding photos to portray. From the pictures of us together to family photos and all the little details in between. The photos tell a story of our special day from beginning to end that we will look back on for years to come. Since it has only been a few weeks since our wedding day we have not yet had the opportunity to see our video, but we have no doubt that Al will do an excellent job.
