  Lauren was so worth it and is the best photographer ever! She was so easy to work with and the photos from both our engagement session and our wedding were absolutely stunning! She was organized, attentive, and made us feel comfortable (and very ready) leading up to our wedding day. She exercised time and care in taking photos that we would love forever.

  Let me start by saying Lauren is AMAZING!! I had high hopes for our photographs and she FAR exceeded our expectations. We eloped, getting married just outside of Denali National Park, and Lauren captured the magic and romance of our day.
  
  We're from VA so choosing a photographer long distance is hard. After several back-and-forth emails Lauren requested we Skype so we could get to know one another a bit. I assumed we'd chat for about 30 minutes but we chatted for nearly 2 hours! By the time we ended the discussion both my fiance and I felt like we really knew her and she really knew what we were looking for.
  
  She met us the night before our nuptials so she could scope out the property. She also scouted around the area to find other places for pictures. The day-of she came armed and ready. The pictures she captured were amazing - AMAZING!!! I am so pleased with the pictures she took, she really captured the essence of our wedding.
  
  She was flexible, responsive, personable, and you can tell she clearly loves her job - her excitement bubbles over and she was genuinely happy to be photographing our wedding.
  
  If you're looking for an amazing photographer look no further than Lauren at Beauty Board Media. You won't be disappointed.

  Lauren far exceeded any of our expectations! We first contacted her regarding engagement photos however once we started talking and described our unique idea for a wedding ceremony, we knew we wanted her to include a wedding video.
  
  For our engagement photos Lauren captured our best in the Alaskan landscape and what turned out to be beautiful engagement photos. Every detail of the packaging was heartfelt and was a delight to receive. Lauren’s artistic touch and professionalism shows in everything she does.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Lauren spent hours with us shooting footage of the preparation, ceremony and celebration, which she then turned into a video masterpiece. Lauren joined us for the initial debut of the wedding video and we were amazed at how well she captured our ceremony and instantly brought back memories that will last forever. This video will keep us smiling well into our future together!
  
  Words alone cannot express how happy we were with her service and how honored we feel to have her play such an important role in our lives. We would highly recommend Media Beauty Board for any important event that you would like to have lasting memories of.

  Lauren Roberts of Beauty Board Media was amazing. She is totally not in your face type of videographer. She was definitely present for the wedding but you barely saw her. She captured everything and more than what we were expecting in our wedding video. She is a rock star and her work speaks wonders. We love her. She has an awesome personality as well and got along with the whole bridal party.

  Lauren Roberts of Beauty Board Media is the highest quality photographer and human being that anyone might ever meet. Her photos and videos are breathtaking, inspiring, honest. She has an ability to capture beauty in unimaginable places, shedding light on what would otherwise be missed. She took both our engagement and wedding photos- even though Minneapolis is a bit of a trek for an Alaska girl, we begged her to come because I couldn't have anyone else take our photos. She is magic both behind the camera and in front of it. She took great care to get to know us and captured who we are in every shot. She has a unique ability to make people around her feel comfortable and relaxed. I know that her presence alone made both our pictures and our wedding day better. She is a thorough communicator and clearly knows her stuff when it comes to the logistics of her work. She led me through every step of the process and made it pretty much effortless on my part. She is worth every penny and then some. The beauty of her art is in capturing the wonder and fullness of the raw, honest moments of life.   Don was fantastic, he made my partner and I so relaxed even though we were especially nervous about taking photos and the related awkwardness. He was hilarious and so passionate about photography, possessing a raw talent that guarantees a unique photo. He was wonderful in getting all the photos back to us in a timely fashion and I would not hesitate in getting another set of couple photos done with him in the future.

  I chose Lauren over other videographers for our wedding because it was clear (through her work I viewed online) that she is passionate about storytelling and capturing the most precious moments in life.   Lauren created a fantastic video of our wedding. She was able to capture the mood and feeling of the day perfectly. The shots, editing, music and overall story that she constructed in the video are amazing. She took a great deal of time prior to the wedding getting to know us and what we were looking for in the wedding video. I have no doubt that this extra attention to detail was important for the eventual outcome. She also had an assistant Don capture footage of the groomsmen getting ready while she was covering the bridesmaids so that she captured all the footage she would need to tell a complete story. She was also a pleasure to deal with through out the process and there is no doubt that her happy personality and passion made it very easy for us to trust us with the responsibility being the videographer at our wedding. We were absolutely thrilled with what she was able to do for us.

It doesn't take a lot to realize how talented he is by taking even just a quick look at his website. We had such a great time with Don when he photographed a portrait session with us, he is incredibly creative and his out of the box thinking results in gorgeous and unique photographs. We are really looking forward to having another portrait session with Don in the near future in Thailand!!

  I have no bad things to say about Don's work as it was all amazing! Don did a photo shoot for our band in Newcastle, Australia. I really felt that he respected and embraced our ideas, while at the same time adding his own creativity and flair. He was tireless in helping us get the perfect shots, and had an awesome attitude - we had a LOT of fun that day! Not only was he super professional in the lead up (communication, scheduling, etc) but the photos themselves are just incredible, and even better than we could have imagined! I would highly recommend Don and his company to anyone for your event, hands down the best photographer we've worked with!

  Don photographed our engagement photos and also a maternity shoot (when I was about 24 weeks) for my husband and I. During both shoots, we had a wonderful time laughing and Don made us feel so comfortable and at ease. His photos captured that and they are absolutely beautiful. His style of work is fresh and unique and I couldn't have asked for better photos! I am so very happy we chose Don! I would highly recommend Loose Leaf Weddings to anyone looking for photos that tell a story.

  If you are looking for an amazingly talented photographer or videographer Lauren Roberts is hands-down one of the best in Alaska. She has this ability to make you feel extremely comfortable and calm no matter the situation. She is able to capture the raw beauty and emotion of special moments that not many others can. I highly recommend Lauren to anyone who is looking to have a their engagement, wedding, birth or special event captured on film.   All I can say about Don is our wedding photos and post-engagement photos are priceless. They really captured who we are as a couple and show us the love my husband and I have for each other that we never get to see as we are photographers ourselves. Don is everywhere and no where to be seen at the same time. Almost like a ninja honestly you seem to never see him during your wedding and when you see the pictures he is truly everywhere! I don't even have to recommend him to my friends because his photos speak for themselves.

  There could not have been a more perfect match between bride and photographer than with Lauren and I!! We had a very unconventional wedding (none of the guests knew they were coming to a wedding) and Lauren not only came into our home, got to know our family and the little quirks that she knew I would love captured...but she did all that in one 45 min meet up. When it came to the wedding, she totally blended with our mixed bag of friends, family and acquaintances...but she captured some of the most sincere special moments I could have hoped for. I am certain Lauren is amazing in a traditional wedding scenario too, but she totally rolled with the flow and caught moments, that I didn't even realize she was there to see!! TOTALLY PRICELESS!! We wanted backyard BBQ ease with professional photography documentation, Laure FAR exceeded our dreams. Don't get me wrong, yes, it was at our House, but I was in THE dress and had flowers every where. Lauren attacked the entire day with creativity and ease. Then she REALLY comes alive in editing. If you are looking for run of the mill, boring posed stuff, I am sure Lauren could ROCK THAT, but give this gal a little room for creativity and she will knock you socks off. We loved her so much we commissioned her to do our family photos in the fall too! She even caught my son (who hates cameras, pictures and well, people) in genuine soft natural smiles!! She is amazing to work with if you have your own ideas, or she will come with plenty of her own!! HIRE THIS PHOTOGRAPHER!!! You won't be sorry!!
