We used Beau Vaughn for coordination, videography, & a photo booth for our wedding and it was the best decision for our big day! Justin was our coordinator and everything went perfectly at our rehearsal and day of wedding. Justin was so organized and eased so much of our stress those few days leading up to our wedding and was great at communicating with us. He helped set up and decorate while also coordinating all of our vendors. I had so many wedding guests complimenting how great he was at keeping everything on time. We are obsessed with our wedding video and we are so happy we used their photo booth because they gave us a book with everyone’s photos & we have so many sweet memories from that night and everyone loved it. Would absolutely recommend Beau Vaughn to a friend and we are so happy we used them.

We are so glad to have hired The Beau Vaughn team for photography, videography and DJ services. They did such an incredible job even prior to hiring them. They shared expertise on other vendors that we were looking into based on their experience in the wedding industry. They customized our packages just as we asked to make them include all that we wanted to capture for the day. Our Dance floor was Hopping the entire time and the DJ was incredibly professional and fun. Justin and his team the day of our wedding made our day run smoothly and they went above and beyond to find ways to anticipate anything that may come up. We had some anxiety about how the day would all come together but after our final meeting with Justin the week before our wedding we truly were at ease because we knew we were in good hands. And they delivered such beautiful work, the videos and the photos are beyond our expectations and they captured everything we would have wanted and more! This company is a breeze to work with and they truly care about making YOU happy! They answer any questions in a prompt reply. Never left unanswered. We did a love story( a 3-4 min video to be played at wedding ) and we also booked for day-of videography. Justin, The owner stayed and helped clean up with my family. He went above and beyond with his help for us! He is easy to be around and never makes it awkward when you’re shootings video with him. He is a family man and a trust worthy man in general. If I could give any advice to a bride it would be to choose Beau Vaughn Photography and videography for your wedding day!

Beau Vaughn was one of THE BEST decisions we made for our wedding! Jason and Kim were amazing to work with. They were so professional and so great at their job. They are very well versed on the best photo spots in the Kanas City area and at several venues. They knew just where to take us for first looks and for our engagement photos.
If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. If you are in search of a photographer you should definitely use them! You can use them for DJ, Photography, and Videography services and you can get bundle deals if you use more than one service-- which we took advantage of. We were more than thrilled with all of their services, but since this review is based on photography services I wanted to rave about how much we loved it!
They also took our engagement photos beforehand too which we were able to bundle in as well! They were so easy to work with and didnt make taking thousands of photos awkward at all. I feel like I can be awkward when taking photos so I was so thankful they made it so easy.

The Best Photographer in KC!!!
My husband and I got married on June 14, 2019 in Kansas City. When we first discovered Beau Vaughn Photography, we were amazed at not only their pictures, but at the turn around time for receiving pictures BACK... 14 days! We just received our pictures and we are absolutely thrilled and in love with them! Bruce and Jason were with us on our big day and they were nothing short of amazing! They were flexible and were extremely fun and outgoing to work with!
In October, Jason took our engagement pictures, and we feel the same way!
We highly recommend Beau Vaughn for affordable, fast and fun photography!!! :)

Beau Vaughn was such a great team to work with and made our wedding day such a breeze! From the very beginning we were blown away by the experience of the photographers and everything that the editing team was capable of. Lucy was always quick to respond to all of our emails and answer any and all of the questions I had. The team that came out to our wedding was professional and fun to work with. They did so well at directing our large wedding party and large family. I received so many comments and compliments about them for our guests after the wedding. We were so impressed with how our photos turned out and we got the photos back in just 2 weeks!! We had several friends that had to wait months to see their photos from other photographers so it was so nice to get ours right away. I haven’t heard of any other company with as much skill, that can touch up and edit all of your photos and get them back in such a short time. Beau Vaughn may not be the cheapest option out there, but they were well worth every penny, and you really get a lot for what you are spending. We did not want to chance getting subpar photos on a day that we put so much time and money into planning for over a year. Our photos are what we will have to remember this day forever and we wanted to make sure they were a quality product. There were a couple photos I would have liked to have gotten that I wish we had, like we did not get of photo of our rings or like an overall picture of the venue after it is was set up and decorated and things like that. There was a form to fill out of all the shots you want, so I would suggest being specific on the form if there is anything you must have and make a list before the wedding so you can make sure nothing gets missed. Or just ask them the day of because they are super easy to work with! Overall we were very impressed with how they captured our special day and would recommend them every time.

The Team provided great customer service leading up to our big day, we felt like we were listened to when we talked to Team about what we had envisioned our day looking like. The Team made us feel very comfortable and again very responsive. Our wedding day was better than we had imagined. The DJ was great and kept everyone on the dance floor which is what we wanted. I did A LOT of research when choosing an engagement/wedding photographer. Every photo I came across that I loved would bear the Beau Vaughn logo, so I thought I would check them out. After my first consult with Justin, I knew I didn't need to look anywhere else. The photos they take of their brides and brides-to-be are breathtaking. Their edits to artistic photos are absolutely priceless. My now husband and I were not super excited to pose awkwardly for engagement photos, but Beau Vaughn really made us feel at ease! No awkwardness here! They come up with some unique poses that really look incredible and natural in the photos. We had our giant dogs with us for engagement photos, and our photographer, Lindsey, got some amazing shots of them! When wedding planning, they listened to all our requests for photos/videos and once the big day arrived, Lucy, Parker, and Justin didn't miss a thing! The quality of our photos and videos were unmatched. Everyone that saw our photos were just blown away by the quality, and just how beautiful everything was. They captured all the details. It was so fun seeing the photos and watch the videos of things that I missed while I was getting ready and too busy on the dance floor. I especially liked how they stand in the back during your ceremony and are able to take photos with a high zoom lens so as not to block the view of any guests. My advice to any bride starting their vendor search - choose Beau Vaughn for all your photography and videography needs. Your wedding photos preserve your memory and you Beau Vaughn will help you relive the big day all over again. Not to mention they are fantastic to work with! THANK YOU!

We were blown away with our wedding photos and video. They made everyone feel comfortable during the day for the group photos and captured great candid moments at the reception. I don’t think it can be stressed enough how efficient they were when it came to the family photos too. We only had one idea/request for a photo, and they came through in making it a reality and it turned out better than imagined. Our video was a great addition to the fabulous photos. The editing they did to sync it up with the lyrics of some of our song choices was awesome. Again they captured some fantastic moments, and we are so happy with the results. They were absolute professionals all day, and you could tell they cared about the work they were doing to capture all the moments on such a special day.

Justin was the third photographer we met with and while the first two took beautiful pictures, his level of professionalism really set him apart. Beau Vaughn is fantastic at what they do and we loved both our engagement and wedding photos. On top of that, they definitely deliver on their two week turn around and we were thrilled to have the pictures to look at when we returned from our honeymoon. Both of the photographers on our wedding day were fantastic and kept our bridal party relaxed while still making sure we hit all of our location stops around the city before the ceremony. My husband and I found Beau Vaughn photography and videography through reading reviews on The Knot and Wedding Wire. After meeting with Justin at Beau Vaughn for our initial consultation, we knew that he would capture our day perfectly. My husband and I live in New York City and we wanted to have our engagement photos taken in the city. Justin and his wife flew to NYC for our engagement session. After showing our photos to people from both the east and Kansas City, everyone assumed that Justin was a photographer from NYC based on how perfectly he captured Kyle and I, the city, and all the city's elements. On our special day, everyone enjoyed working with Justin. His personality fit perfectly with the wedding party and he helped keep the stress level at a minimal when our timeline was thrown by the limo being 45 minutes late. Justin and Beau Vaughn photography was such a blessing to our day and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to capture their day perfectly. My husband and I used this company for both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures. We used Val for both sessions, and we could not have been more pleased with her. She made us feel comfortable within the first five minutes of taking pictures. She isn't the type of photographer that says, "Put your chin down a little and lean your head to the left," which we ABSOLUTELY loved and appreciated! She took such natural photographs of us, our family, and our friends. She is outgoing and willing to do anything to get your pictures. She laid on the floor, danced around for smiles, and even ducked between hay bales on our hayride after the ceremony. She is laid back and flexible, but she was not afraid to take charge when some of our family members made the group shots a little hectic. She is absolutely all about the bride and groom. Anya was our second shooter, and she was also great! We got so many photos--every picture comes in color and black/white. They also use artistic aspects on some photos. We loved the online galleries and how easy they were to use. We also got a slideshow of our photos set to our favorite song! The turnaround time is incredible, and the product speaks for itself. We cannot say enough good things about this company! Book them! You will not regret it!

From the moment we had the consultation to our engagement photos, to our wedding day Justin and Bridget and Natasha blew us away. We don't even have our wedding photos back yet so this review is strictly on the experience we had. Justin really took charge the day of the wedding and kept everything on track and I really appreciated all of that hard work. He was professional, he was friendly, and we just really clicked with him right away. Our friends and family had a blast at the photo booth and we love having that memory to look back on. Capturing moments with our children were most important to us and Justin and Natsha were both very patient while working with them and I'm confident that we're going to have some amazing shots. They took so much pressure off of keeping things on time and I never had to worry where they were or if they were getting shots because they're wonderful at their job. I never write reviews but my husband(!) and I had such an amazing experience because of Beau Vaughn Photography that I had to. Everything was amazing! They were such a pleasure to work with and were great at making things easy for me! The value for your money is unbeatable. Believe me, I looked at the prices of a billion photographers (frantically, I might add since our first photographer flaked out on us a month before the wedding. Blessing in disguise!) You can't find better quality for the price. Love, love, love the 14 day turn around as well. We had Maggie and Lexi as our photographers and I couldn't imagine working with anyone else. We used Beau Vaughn for our engagement and our wedding photos. We were very impressed with both! We had a very large wedding party (around 30 people, 9 of them being children) and they were able to get everyone together and they got great pictures of the whole group! They also picked great outdoor locations for our wedding pictures and they were very flexible with the weather conditions that day! Where do I begin?! Beau Vaughn Photography is BEYOND amazing! I could not have asked for better photography company for my wedding. The level of professionalism, value, and quality is superb! From the beginning, I have been nothing but pleased with the communication and first initial meeting. Justin and Bridget have been a pleasure to work with. Justin is phenomenal behind the lens and it truly showed as I looked at the moments captured in our wedding photos! Lauren was amazing as well! I used Justin at Beau Vaughn for our wedding videography for our October 19th, 2013 wedding in downtown Chicago. From first meeting Justin at a nearby coffee shop, I felt very comfortable with him from the start. Justin took detailed notes and was able to articulate exactly what I was looking to accomplish with our wedding highlight video. Justin arrived early the day of our wedding and worked extremely well with our hired photographer (not from Beau Vaughn). Justin was even kind enough to shoot footage from our wedding reception while he stayed later to man the photobooth we also used from his business. The turnaround for our wedding video was within 2-3 weeks which was awesome, as you want to get the results from your big day as soon as you can. Overall, we had a great experience with Justin & Emily and would be happy to recommend to other brides/grooms to be!

The staff at Beau Vaughn is just fantastic, including the behind the scenes editors that I've never met! Emily was great at following up with professional/friendly emails, and after meeting with Justin and feeling like we would all get along great, we were sold. We were so grateful that he worked with our budget, and between the engagement photos, the wedding photos, & the wedding video, we have beautiful memories to last us a lifetime. The engagement photos had creativity and fun- Justin even went and scoped out the spots we wanted beforehand so he could get ideas. Very dedicated and knows what he's doing. I did a LOT of research on a good videographer for the wedding too, and the fact that it was 20 minutes long and seeing the quality and creativity of their videos beforehand, I was so excited to book them. It was the best for the money. And now we have one of our own videos that I just want to watch a million times over. The photos went beyond my expectations and captured so many wonderful moments, those that were real life moments and those that were created for photos. They were beautiful and I know we will continue to tear up when we see some of them. Thank you for giving us the greatest wedding gift of photographs and a video that wonderfully portrayed all of our special day and more.

I searched for several months for a photographer until I found and choose Justin. Guy and Deb photographed our wedding and they did a great job! They were helpful with getting things where they needed to be as well as with being flexible and letting us do what we wanted to do. I am so glad that I went with them. WOW! Form the first meeting with Justin I was impressed. We decided not to go with our first photographer after the engagment shots. So you can imagine with 4 months before the wedding I was freaking out. I met with Justin and I knew. Sooo professional. You can tell hes done this before and he makes it sooo easy. Its hard to discribe. He has an art to it. We told me we needed guidence and needed to be told how to stand and what to do and he did just that. Everyone was impressed. Several said that he was the best photographer they have ever met! Worth the money! Picture are the one thing we wanted to spend the most on because its what carries on the memories. We also went with videography. You couldnt even tell they were there. I am so happy we were referred to them. And his wife is a sweety. Will respond to your emails right away! Very impressed :)

Justin and his wife, Emily, were phenomenal. I'm really picky when it comes to pictures in general and also in the composition of wedding albums. They nailed it in every category possible.
Our wedding coordinator loved the pictures so much that she asked to use them to promote the reception venue (and they already have a big site with lots of pictures that she's now planning on replacing if I receive Beau Vaughn's approval for this).
They surpassed my expectations (which were lofty to begin with!) and could not be more happy with the decision to have them at our wedding.

Beau Vaughn was the second vendor I used from out of town. I was very impressed with the level of customer service I received from them. I was able to communicate within minutes of them by email, the photographer drove from Kansas City to Wichita just to meet with me for a consult, no commitment required, and he was very personable. I felt very comfortable in front of the camera with him, and was very confident we would receive beautiful pictures (even though neither of us are very "photogenic"). I would recommend this company very highly to brides/grooms looking for a professional and very capable photographer for your special day.

At the wedding they were so great with the kids! Especially our shy little ones. They took such great pictures of all the kids at the wedding. Everybody was so involved!! It was wonderful!

We used Justin from Beau Vaughn as our photographer for our engagement and wedding pictures. As someone that started off as a skeptical groom that couldn't believe what professional pictures cost (not Beau Vaughn in particular, but the industry in general), I came away completely impressed and convinced that Beau Vaughn was worth every dollar we (ok, my wife's parents) spent. Not only did Justin's photographic expertise come through in our amazing pictures, but he went above and beyond managing all the chaos surrounding our big day. One event from the day both stands out and sums up the value that Justin brought to the day. Before our wedding, my wife and I were taking pictures in the beautiful Kaufman Gardens and the orchid I was wearing literally split in two - flower separated from the stem. Before my rather high strung bride to be (whom had planned every detail of the day to the tee) had time to shed a tear - Justin had found an extra pin on my suit, picked up the Orchid and pinned it back together in a manner that no one looking at me (or our pictures) could tell anything had every happened - all in under 60 seconds. Not only did Justin take amazing pictures that day, he handled every bump in the road that day like a true pro - helping us not only have amazing pictures, but have an amazing day!

We had Justin as our photographer and he really went way above and beyond our expectations. We had a mishap with our venue on the day of the wedding and Justin was on the phone within seconds to get a black back drop to the venue just in case the ceremony needed to be moved indoors and the venue was not prepared. He also had umbrellas for all the guests when it started to sprinkle a little bit. Our pictures were amazing and he really took into consideration the feel we wanted in our pictures. I recommend them to every bride and groom on their special day. I promise you will not be disappointed. Also, they guarantee the pictures back within 2 weeks of the event and you will get them then. You also get all the rights to all the pictures and are able to do whatever you want with them.

Okay, so I typically do not write reviews but I felt I needed to for this company. I hate to admit this but I can be a tough critic and Beau Vaughn Photography was excellent! Justin flew in for our wedding to do our photography from Kansas to Houston, David did our videography, and Emily is just a doll who coached through the entire process! I love the entire team of people I worked with. Justin and David came early to the Hotel where we got ready and stayed until the very last second of our wedding. The pictures were incredible, the high-light dvd was so fun to watch and everything is very timely. I had my pictures ready in 2 weeks and video was ready in 3 weeks. Emily is very responsive to every little exhausting question I had and gets back to you in no time. With most companies, they are nice to you until you pay them, once they have your money they do complete 180 and are very hard to get in touch with and work with. Not Beau Vaughn, it has now been 1 month after the wedding and they are still walking me through every step of getting our images and video's exactly like we want them and they are so kind and so patient with me! You will not be disappointed using this company, I promise!

Honestly, look no further. Picking a photographer was one of my biggest priorities when planning my wedding. It was vital to me to fully capture this very special day. I stressed over my decision until I ran across the Beau Vaughn Photography Company. They quickly put my mind at ease. There were several packages for us to choose from so that I could find just the right fit for our needs, wants, and most importantly our budget. Throughout the entire process the Beau Vaughn Company were complete professionals. They were extremely assessable whenever my husband and I needed to contact them. Several times they went above and beyond to meet our needs and to make us comfortable with the entire process.
I would emphatically recommend the Beau Vaughn Company to anyone. The final product is simply amazing. Beau Vaughn has a unique ability to fully capture the excitement, love, and rareness of your special day. They are extremely talented at capturing all of the candid moments throughout the day without you even noticing half the time that they are there. This was important to us because formal pictures are one thing, but they by themselves do not truly capture the specialness of the day. There were countless special moments that Beau Vaughn caught at our wedding that my husband and I had forgot about until we laid eyes on our pictures. Additionally, Beau Vaughn’s postproduction work was mesmerizing. Some of the special effects that they implemented in the postproduction work made our pictures truly one of a kind. Whenever we show our wedding pictures to people they are constantly in awe of Beau Vaughn’s final artistic touches that they put on their work.
In the end, we feel as if this was the best money we spent on our wedding. I joke with my husband all the time that Beau Vaughn gave us the best gift at our wedding, by giving us such beautiful memory’s to cherish for the rest of our lives. Seriously, if you want someone to capture every moment of your special day in a one of a kind way, then stop stressing and pick the Beau Vaughn Company.

I was so impressed with Beau Vaughn photography! My photographer was highly skilled and very professional. I couldn't even tell he was at the wedding, but he caught every moment on film. I loved my wedding photos! When I chose my photographer, we met with several different ones in the Houston area. We chose Beau Vaughn, because David seemed very professional and honest. He didn't pressure us into signing a contract, and made us feel very comfortable. I loved his work and I loved the Storybook Album he showed us. I also liked the fact that we got the copyright of all the images. The day of the wedding, they NEVER stopped taking pictures! They captured every moment. They were friendly and patient with the wedding party. They were also very creative with their shots. Most importantly, we got some AMAZING pictures!! They captured our day beautifully, and we couldn't be happier with our pics! We got our picture DVDs exactly two weeks after the wedding. I had just moved to Austin, but my husband and I were having the wedding in our home state, Maine. Justin came out to meet us near our home in Texas. I was a bit nervous because I had no idea what it was I really wanted out of photographs. Justin showed me several different photographs, print styles, colors, materials, and photo books etc. He made sure I knew what I wanted in my photographs. He made my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease, even had a few laughs. He really knew his photography! The price was very reasonable considering the fact that they would travel anywhere within the continental United States! TJ, our photographer, e-mailed back and forth with us. He wanted to make sure he took the photographs I wanted and that I would be satisfied with him. When the day of the wedding came, the weather forecast changed, saying that we were expected to have rain. Everybody was scrambling around, switching to our backup plan. Despite the mini chaos, TJ was wonderful. He caught several random photos that turned out to be beautiful. He thought of several great ideas for photographs that I wouldn't have thought of! I was also amazed at how quickly I was able to view my photographs after the wedding. I had heard from other people's experiences of having to wait about a month for their photographs. I only had to wait a week and a half. These photographs are AMAZING!!! THANK YOU BEAU VAUGHN && TJ for making our wedding extra special!!!

The only thing I would have to say I regret was that I wish I would have told Justin to watch out for my husband's crazy hair. It was really windy and in no way was Justin to blame, but I should have told Justin that if my husband's hair gets all over the place, if he could mention something to us so my husband didn't look crazy in some of the pics. Dave and his wife Susan were wonderful. We had mishap at the church and they were able to adjust for it like it was planned. They're pleasant to speak with, it was as if they were just another FRIEND at our event. They made the actual posing fun to do so it was as if we weren't really posing at all. They are absolutely phenomenal. I felt so relaxed having him as my photographer. I loved our engagement pictures! At the wedding, I didn't even notice him. We have beautiful pictures from the wedding. It only takes 14 days for them to get the pictures up. Excellent prices. No travel charges to anywhere in the Continental US! Outstanding guy to work with. I am going to recommend him to all my friends that need a photographer. I couldn't have asked for anyone better!

We had Justin from Beau Vaughn do our engagement and wedding photos. He was very easy to work with. He had great ideas for different shots but also included any suggestions that we had. All of our photos turned out great! Both times they were online for us to see within two weeks or less. During the wedding I didn't even notice him. He was very discrete but he captured all of the important moments. He even ran across the street at the end to capture us as we drove off!

Choosing Beau Vaughn Photography for my wedding was one of the best choices I made during my whole wedding planning process. Emily and Justin were very professional and were very quick to respond to any questions I had. On the day of my wedding, Justin was such a joy to have around, he was almost like one of the guests. The best part was my wedding pictures and DVD were in my mailbox when I returned from my honeymoon! In one word Beau Vaughn is AMAZING and highly recommended!

Emily was amazing! She got every shot, and ever event and tear that I missed that day! I had my pictures in my hand 2 weeks after my wedding, and I have to rights to them so they were hanging on my wall that night! AWESOME shots, an awesome music dvd with my pictures and so much fun and easy to work with!

Beau Vaughn provided great quality photos and being a photographer myself, I am a tough critique. They had photographed at our venue before so that was a huge relief since they don't go to the rehearsal (unless you want another charge or session),

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the results of our engagement, bridal and wedding pictures. The staff at Beau Vaughn were exremely professional and talented. I loved the photos! They were online just two weeks after the wedding and knowing so many people who had to wait months to come back that was a huge bonus for me. I paid for one photographer and got three my only complaint is there wasn't a lot of bride & groom photos. I don't know if that was a timing problem but, when you're getting married there is so much going on. I just wish there were a few more of those. They got some great shots of the kids at the wedding which was wonderful cause all my nieces are so important and I loved having all these wonderful pictures to choose from. The fact that you get the copyright photos was the deciding factor for me. I spent less than $200 and got all of my wedding photos ordered on snapfish instead of having to pay ridiculous prices for ordering them "professionally". I would highly recommend this company not only cause they we're the best price but, also were wonderful photographers.

Awesome people!
Beau Vaughn went beyond our expectations the day of our wedding to create beautiful pictures that captured so many great moments. They had plenty of ideas to create good shots while listening to our wants for locations and time frame. They were very fast with getting all the pictures back to us. I would definitely recommend them!!

Beau Vaughn was absolutely amazing and great to work with throughout our entire wedding experience! From the time I met Maggie for our engagement photo session to my wedding just a week ago, I have no complaints. Maggie was an absolute delight to work with for both engagement and wedding sessions. The wedding day we had the opportunity to work with both Maggie and Ryan. They both were beyond patient with the chaos of the day and were completely accommodating. I haven't even seen any pictures from the day so this is based totally off of our experience. I couldn't have asked for better photographers to capture and shoot the best day of my life. As far as communication and professionalism, Bridget was prompt in her responses and always so easy to get ahold of. We ended up adding additional time for Maggie to stay later and both her and Bridge were both so accommodating. Beau Vaughn was one of the vendors I had zero concerns with during the whole planning process and they came through for us on the big day. We cannot wait to see the pictures! Thank you, Beau Vaughn!!

We are more than happy with the way we were treated by Beau Vaughn and with the results of both our engagement pictures and our wedding day pictures. Maggie shot some amazing pictures and the turn around time was much quicker than anticipated. The pictures are high quality and the level of professionalism was equally matched. I had Justin for videography. Contacting him and asking questions was simple and he was helpful. He arrived promptly on the day of my wedding and starting working right away and was very professional. I just received my video back and it was great. It was actually 21 minutes long, which he said they're typically 15 min so I was thankful for the extra time. The only thing I didn't like about my video was that he put the party/reception part before our first dances. It's not that big of a deal. I think he may have had to cut up the sentimental parts. Overall, I was pleased and VERY pleased with the value I got.

Our photographer and pictures were great! We used BV for engagement and our wedding photos and the quality of the pictures were very good. I hardly noticed our photographer throughout the wedding day but was amazed to receive more than 600 pictures of our wedding day.

We loved our photographer with Beau Vaughn - and they traveled all the way to Michigan for no additional cost. Justin was very professional and laid back, which is what we liked most about their services.

The photographers we had were very friendly. I was a little disappointed with the fact that the photographer didn’t pay attention to small details when we were taking photos after the ceremony (if my dress was laying flat or train was bunched, hair in my face, etc) but other than that things were great!

When I first booked Beau Vaughn I talked with Justin the main photographer and he made it clear that he would take the pictures and his wife would be the assistant with a camera all day to. When I met with them a month before they informed me that the assistant was going to be my main photographer. I was dissapointed but tried to make the best out of it. The day of the wedding she was there with her assistant on time and ready to go. When we started taking pictures she did not tell us what to do or pose us at all, we were kind of doing it all on our own. I felt very uncomfortable because I did not know what to do! She did not have a list of what pictures she wanted to take and there was no order so it was kind of a mess. She did not even get a picture with me with my new in-laws, just a picture of my husband with his parents and sister. Luckily I had an ex-phopographer there to help out with posing everyone.
I am very happy with how the pictures turned out! There were some pictures I asked for that we did not get and I never got a picture with my in-laws which is pretty strange.

This company is very efficient at marketing their product, but do not live up to expectations, and I really want others to be aware. The minute that they received our final payment, we could not even get a hold of them. Prior the the final payment, they were super attentive to all of our e-mails. I waited to post this review so that I could contact them first with my concerns and give them a chance to make things right. Unfortunately, I have yet to hear back. I wish I could have had the experience that these other reviewers did that gave 5 stars. Don't get me wrong, they did take SOME great shots. But for the price we paid and previous work we saw from them, we do not feel like the standards were upheld. My SIL has a BFA in photography, & I have previously worked in graphic design. Both of us agree that the majority of our photos seem amateur. There are many pictures where I can see how something was clearly Photoshopped, for example, under my chin. Many of the pictures are very over exposed and the lighting still needs a lot of work. I understand our ceremony was supposed to be outside, but w/ the rain, there should have been adequate preparation for an indoor ceremony. A professional company should know how to accommodate for indoor lighting. I look orange and shiny in a lot of photos. Not only with the editing, but the photographers provided 0 direction on how people were to be positioned for portrait pictures. They just stood there staring, expecting us to arrange ourselves. I know for a fact that it is expected of professional photographers to direct. The majority of the pictures are not evenly spaced and now I cannot even print them b/c they look so unprofessional & awkward. So no, I will not deny the fact that there are some great shots. But, as a whole, the pictures do not live up to the standards of Beau Vaughn's reputation. I honestly feel let down that we were so excited to use these guys as our photographers, and this was the result.

Our video was fine, but the videographer either failed to record or lost my dad's father-of-the bride speech. The company sent someone out after the wedding to record him reading it and dubbed the voice recording over our video, which I appreciated, but it breaks my heart that I will never get to look back on a video of my dad's toast. It was particularly disappointing as we hired BV specifically to capture the speeches, along with creating a wedding video. If you hire this company, make sure you have backup footage of the most important moments. I regret relying on this company to capture our wedding, and would not recommend them

Would NOT recommend DJ
We used Beau Vaughn's DJ services only, not photography.
Throughout the ceremony and the reception, our DJ was on her phone not paying attention to the event. During our zoom meeting, I was told there would be a blending of songs and no full-length song would be played if the crowd was not dancing. When asked to skip a song during the reception, the music was abruptly stopped with a pause in all audio, then the next song started. There was no blending of any songs. Just songs start to finish without reading the crowd’s interest. It was discouraging because we could have had a speaker connected to our phone for a fraction of the price for that experience. Additionally, we were told the DJ would provide directions for the guest throughout the day to maintain the flow of events. Our DJ did not announce many of our requests. Due to the lack of direction, many guests left without our knowledge while we took photos. Consequently, we did not get to say goodbye to many guests, including those from out-of-town. We had multiple friends and family members, the day of the wedding who approached us with concerns about the DJ. We feel that your DJ services were not delivered as described.
