Guy was exactly what we needed and hoped for!

We interviewed 3 DJ's including Guy and he quickly stood out from the other 2 in terms of his professionalism, experience and laid-back personality.

While planning the wedding anytime we reached out to guy for anything he was super responsive and easygoing.

On the day of our wedding he did a perfect job MC'ing our wedding down to the minute.

We gave Guy a spotify playlist of music we wanted played. He did a great job queuing up the music in an order that flowed well. Our guests loved the dancefloor.

Also, our wedding guests LOVED the photo booth. The photos turned out so well and it was another great way to capture more moments Guy was 10/10 and I would recommend him to anyone getting married.

The "Guy" Who Does It All

Guy was such a joy to have as our wedding DJ. He handled all the announcements, transitions, and of course the music, with incredible expertise. Not to mention the SUPER fun Photo Booth that our guests could not get enough of, which was bundled into our DJ package. We didn't have to worry about a thing. We highly recommend A Beat Above if you want a "Guy" who goes it all. Thank you so much!

Perfection! Amazing! A must Hire!

Don't look anywhere else. Hire Guy for you next event. I've been to weddings with average DJs and they were..... ok. Guy makes it awesome! Unforgettable experience. I hired A Beat Above for my daughter's wedding and I just can't say enough. People who never dance got out on the dance floor. From the ceremony to the dinner to the toasts..... I just can't say enough good things. The photo booth was such an amazing addition as the party roared on. Thank you so much for being part of our day

A "must hire" DJ and booth!

We had an amazing experience with Guy! He made our lives easier as he provided the music/audio for the ceremony, reception and the photo booth. One stop shop! He was incredibly responsive and did exactly what we needed. His music choices in addition to the songs we selected were spot on. We had a friend be our main MC and Guy worked with him flawlessly and took back over when it was time.

The photo booth also was AMAZING! The ease of use and quality of photos was unbelievable. He also shared them digitally so we could send them to our wedding guests.

Cannot recommend him more.

Wonderful DJ!

Guy was such a pleasure to work with! He was so responsive and kind, and very well-priced! He had wonderful suggestions and always made sure to let us know that what we wanted was the most important thing to him. And he was so flexible during the pandemic, which we really needed! We absolutely and completely recommend him for your wedding or other event!!!

Incredible DJ! Highly recommend!

Guy is incredible! He is professional and knows how to keep a crowd dancing! We gave him a few ideas about the genre of music and songs we liked, and he took it from there. He knew exactly what to play and when. Out of all of our wedding vendors, Guy was the easiest to work with. I highly recommend Guy as your DJ for your next event!

A Beat Above Entertainment was the absolutely right choice for our special day. Guy was easy to work with, really responsive, and a great value for all we received on the day. Great music and fun photobooth!

Guy was so much fun! He's a great emcee and kept the dance floor going all night. He also has a photobooth package and our guests had a an absolute blast with that! Highly recommend Guy!

Incredible.

A Beat Above Entertainment did an amazing job at my wedding in June! Not only was the music tasteful and lively, but perfect for lighthearted, fun dancing. On top of the great music, Guy was a great DJ and professionally announced our reception. He kept to our timeline and helped move event along. The biggest hit of the night was the PHOTO BOOTH. I have received multiple comments about how genius it was to have a photo booth open during cocktail hour and reception. The photos turned out amazing and the prop added an extra layer of fun. Highly highly recommend Guy!!

Best Choice We Made

Guy was great start to finish. Clearly experienced and easy to work with, he gave us a ton of confidence that our day would go smooth. Dance party

We had a HUGE dance party at my wedding and it was greatly in part because of the music that was played and the speciality lights package. Not only this, but the reception ran smoothly as well. I had heard horror stories of microphones not working etc. and was pleased when I met with Guy that he had doubles of all his supplies, which eased my nerves as well. Overall a great DJ!

Best DJ for your wedding!!!

Very easy to work with and very professional! With all the chaos of a wedding we appreciate quick response time and someone very reliable - which he was! Guy was able to keep everyone on the dance floor which was our main goal of the wedding and can sometimes be hard to do! He did it just perfectly! He also played all the songs we requested in advance. He was able to adjust to our last minute changes without any problem. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great DJ for their event that’s reasonably priced!

I highly recommend A Beat Above Entertainment!

Guy did an amazing job as our DJ at our wedding. My husband and I had requested some pretty different music for our processional and recessional, and Guy was able to find the music and make it happen for us. He also really got our "vibe" and played music that fit us and our crowd so well. We all had a blast and there were always people on the dance floor, which was awesome! Not only that, he also set up a photo booth...which was a HUGE hit! I received multiple compliments about the music and photo booth and would highly recommend A Beat Above Entertainment.

Amazing prices and professionalism

A Dance Party to Remember

Guy was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process. I loved how we he offered both a photo booth and DJ services. It was a hit with our guests. I would 100% recommend A Beat Above Entertainment to any and all couples.

Guy is simply amazing. He truly was incredibly easy to work with, a great communicator, and made our day that much better. Not only does he provide great music, sound, dance lights, microphones and everything you'll need for your ceremony & reception, but he also comes with an added bonus of a photo booth, which was a big hit at our wedding. He sets everything up himself and is very self-sufficient. He is organized with the schedule of the day, and helps keep the flow of your event. He is also flexible with last-minute changes. He also helped edit my father/daughter dance which was a huge help. Overall, for his price point, the dedication he puts into his work, and his likeability, I would always recommend Guy to any couple.

Working with Guy was an absolute dream. The song planner provided made choosing music for our day easy and stress free. When we got stuck, Guy did a great job of providing recommendations. He executed our day exactly as it was laid out to him and made sure we stuck with out time-line.

The photobooth worked great and our guests really enjoyed using it. Guy even helped us put a custom design on our photobooth strips. We were shocked at how high quality the images were when we looked online.

It was so nice to bundle the DJ and photobooth as there are already a million vendors you need to work with, this 1 stop shop helped cut-down the communication required and planning stress. Hire this DJ, you will not regret it!!!

Guy was incredible from the beginning to the end of
our wedding. He was very flexible and took a million some requests and somehow made sure we heard a little bit of everything. He kept on our tight wedding schedule perfectly without it feeling forced during the wedding. The photo booth was awesome and our guest enjoyed it so much! Highly recommend!

Guy was amazing! We hired him for a DJ + photobooth package for a 700-person conference. He showed up early to make sure everything was set up on time and even turned on background music before his scheduled time without asking. :) Everything ran smoothly, including the photobooth. We selected Maurico for our photobooth needs for our wedding. He was very accommodating. We had a very tight space where the photobooth could be set up and he worked around it flawlessly. He let us customize our own banner, backdrop, and photo layout without hesitations. He was very flexible with all of our kooky requests. The photo quality was awesome as well. Everyone was raving about how high quality the photos were. He was very affordable compared to the other big companies in this business. This was one of the best vendors we chose for the wedding. I have and will recommend him again!

We rented the photo booth for a school carnival and it was soooo much fun. Guy worked with us on the the emblem for the photos and was very pleasant to work with. We loved the photo booth and props and will definitely use them again.

As an events professional at a local college, I deal with a lot of vendors. A Beat Above stands out as one of the most reliable, professional, reasonable, and pleasant vendors I have ever worked with. I have repeatedly booked A Beat Above for Karaoke Nights, staff parties, and more.

A Beat Above Entertainment provided services for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception.

As soon as we met Guy, we knew he would be a great fit. He's flexible and willing to accommodate, but you'll want to take his advice because he knows his stuff.

Guy came through for us in a huge way when our tentless backyard wedding was hit by an unexpected rain shower halfway through the reception. Guy moved all of his equipment inside the house and continued the dance party with his improvised living room set up. Needless to say, he saved the night and the guests went on dancing and partying to their hearts' content.

He's also got a great voice to be a DJ.

We were really happy with A Beat Above Entertainment and gladly recommend them to anyone.

Guy DJ/MCed our wedding on August 22 and he did a stellar job! Working with him exceeded every one of my expectations and set new standards for what I would expect from a DJ service. He created atmosphere and kept us on track to make sure that we got all our important moments captured. (He was also flexible enough to let us skip elements that were less important to us.) The level of service and professionalism that was provided from the moment we signed the contract right through the wedding was outstanding. I highly recommend his company to anyone looking to have an incredible time at their wedding or event.

I am so glad we booked Guy and A Beat Above Entertainment. He was so on it the whole night we were very impressed. He paid attention to our cues and was flexible with timing. Guy was our DJ for our wedding on October 15, 2016 at the Red Lion Hotel. He did such an amazing job!!! He played all of the right songs at the right time and also did an amazing job of announcing what was coming up next and kept everything very organized! Guy is very outgoing and will definitely keep your party going! A DJ can make or break your wedding and Guy definitely made our wedding an amazing time for everyone! Everyone loved the photo booth and it was busy the entire night! For our next big event we will defiantly be asking Guy to DJ again! I highly recommend Guy for any event!

We met with Guy based completely off reviews and we are so very glad we did. He was perfect! His pricing was affordable and worth every penny. He was extremely friendly, quick to respond and made the day run so smoothly. He was completely prepared for anything that might be needed such as microphones (ours was not working the day of) and the photo booth was a huge plus. Some of my favorite photos are from the booth! Guy did an amazing job the day of our wedding! He was very personable and easy to work with both before and during the wedding. He kept things running smoothly all night and our guests had a great time on the dance floor. It was our favorite part of the reception! He did a great job mixing our guests song requests with the songs/genres we'd provided him before the wedding. The photo booth was also a blast. We considered another DJ who did not provide a photo booth but I'm so glad that was part of our reception. I just can't say enough great things about Guy!

Guy did an amazing job at our wedding! All of our guests have told us that this was one of the most fun weddings they've been to and we can attribute that to Guy. First of all, the photo booth was a hit with everyone (although we had to provide our own props which was fine). Second of all, the music was great. We told Guy what kind of vibe we wanted for the evening and let him select the songs. We had light jazz during dinner and he had it at the perfect volume (many guests commented how great it was to be able to hear each other and talk during dinner), then transitioned to some oldies to get people on the dance floor, then went to full blown dance party the rest of the night. Again, our guests all said they had a great time. Third, he did a great job emceeing the reception. He worked well with our coordinator and went through our timeline exactly how we asked him to. He also was great to work with in the planning stages. My husband and I were planning from across the country and it was so easy to work with Guy. All in all, we would 100% recommend Guy for a wedding or any other large party. You won't be disappointed!

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Guy at A Beat Above Entertainment during our wedding in August. He is the absolute best! He was the DJ at our friend's wedding the summer before and after spending pretty much all night on the dance floor or in the photo booth thanks to him, we knew we had to book him for our own wedding! His prices for services are really amazing too! Definitely book the photo booth…it's worth it!
Guy took the time to meet with us in person to discuss the style and the flow of both our ceremony and reception, and was extremely accommodating about the potential trickiness of our venue (needing a sound system in 3 places, putting a photo booth inside). Guy was the consummate professional throughout the entire process, answering all of our questions and emails in a timely manner and helping us pick a great variety of music that all of our guests would enjoy. He provided a great wedding/song planner to help us organize the ceremony and other events with the songs we wanted. The sound quality and management of our songs, especially during the ceremony, were wonderful! He was a great DJ and emcee and his photo booth stole the show! Our dance floor was full the entire night thanks to Guy…he even accommodated my grandmother's request for a polka song! (He didn't have one off hand but was able to play a perfect song for the Polish bridal dance she had us do) We had a blast working with Guy and recommend him highly to all of our friends.

I am beyond happy with my decision to have a DJ and go with A Beat Above Entertainment.

Guy was such a pleasure to work with. He is professional, affordable, personable and was always quick to reply to any of my questions. His worksheet was very helpful in determining what music to play (who knew you needed a cake cutting song?!) throughout the celebration and was a BIG help to me because it kept my stress levels to a minimum. Guy showed up early to set up and was flexible with us having to delay our ceremony and not have a specific timeline to follow. He kept things on track and he kept our guests dancing all night long. I feel like he really listed to our ideas and understood what we wanted.

One thing that I was super excited about was that there is a photo booth included with with the dj package. Our guests had so much fun with the photo booth. We brought a trunk of props and there was much silliness throughout the night. The pictures are be displayed on-line plus you have the option of purchasing a disk of all the images. It was a HUGE hit!

I can't speak highly enough of Guy and his services. I look forward to being able to host another large get together so that I can have Guy back to keep the party rockin'! I highly recommend A Beat Above Entertainment to anyone who is looking for a celebration that won't be forgotten.

Guy is amazing, very polite, very fun, and totally professional.
I planned my entire wedding myself. From the photographer to the cake, I made all decisions and my husband and I saved for an entire year, and paid for everything ourselves. When I suggest to my, now, husband that we get a DJ he was not on board - he didn't want to pay for someone to pick music. He though that was something we could do - just make a playlist and let it roll. I disagreed. And I was right (as most wives are!) We chose A Beat Above Entertainment because Guy was willing to adjust his package to only 4 hours, lower the price for us - and still included the photo booth.

Guy showed up, set up, talked with my day of coordinator, agreed to play absolutely no LMFAO, and was able to read the mood of the room. We didn't give him much as far as what we wanted played, and he was able to discover that our crowed loved the 80's.

At no point was the dance floor empty. And the wedding was on a Sunday night. Guy knew exactly what to play and when to play it. We had Footloose and Mumford and Sons and Beyonce - not a mix I would've chosen, but it worked and out guests loved it.

And they loved the photo booth. There was a constant flow of people in line to cheese it up in front of the camera - it was the best.

Guy and his photo booth were easily the best investment of our wedding. If I ever host a party again, he's the guy to contact!

Guy from A Beat Above Entertainment was the perfect DJ and lighting guy for our wedding. From the start, he was extrmely personable and very easy to reach; whenever we contacted him he would reply immediately. Guy was very flexible with our ever-changing and last-minute plans, and did a great job as emcee. He was very professional, from his attire to his reliability to his hosting skills. Guy showed up a few hours before our event to set up and ensure everything ran smoothly. He met with us numerous times to go over details such as lighting palettes and song list specifics. We found Guy's pricing to be very competitive and his event packages to be a great way to bundle our needs in one vendor. He was very detailed and thorough and I cant say enough on how great he was! He really made our event run smoothly and kept people dancing until our venue cut us off!

Guy was absolutely amazing from the beginning. He was responsive, professional, super nice, and flexible with us as some last minute things came up. The day of went off beautifully thanks to his MCing. We felt like he really got the feel we were going for and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The photobooth was also a huge hit. This DJ was the only person who responded with a positive response when I asked for a small, intimate set up for 40 guests with provided sounds system! It was perfect! He was EARLY, not just on time! Phenomenal job! The dance was almost more of a karaoke party at times, which was all the more fun!

Guy made our wedding the most amazing day of our lives!! From his selection of music (we only gave a few must plays, and he kept the dance floor packed for the remainder of the night), to the last minute music our performers needed for the authentic Samoan Dancing during dinner, he blew us away! He's so easy to work with, affordable and really makes your event a night to remember. The photo booth was a hit! I think it was packed the majority of the night as well! We still have people telling us our wedding was the best wedding they've been to, and A Beat Above should be the ones to thank for that!

During our wedding planning we heard many stories from friends and family about DJs. Stories about them loosing the first dance song, not playing the music requested, being difficult to work with, etc. Music is very important to us so we read through a lot of reviews (just like this one) to find a DJ. We were lucky enough to find Guy at A Beat Above Enterainment. From day 1 he was extremely professional, detailed and attentive. We had specific requests around the music, karoake and set-up (2 floors). He met all requests and did an awesome job keeping everything on time. He played excellent music based on the genres we gave him and karoake was an absolute BLAST. Our guests are still talking about it and said it was one of the best weddings they've ever been too. Everything about his systems, service and professionalism is nothing less than excellent. He is extremely responsive to all your questions leading up to the wedding, offers ideas to help with your planning and will customize to accommodate your special needs/requests.

And the Photo Booth Piece..... Don't do your wedding/event without this. No matter how great your photographer may be they can not be in every place at once. The photo booth (we added props, hats, sunglasses, etc) allows you to capture your guests in great/fun shots.

My husband and I were THRILLED with A Beat Above Entertainment's service. We got married on 8/19/2012 at Abernethy Center. A Beat Above Entertainment did a fantastic job at our wedding on July 28, 2012… and everyone noticed! Guy provided a high level of professionalism, as well as a great atmosphere for the dance floor. My husband and I met with a couple other DJ's prior and after our meeting with him we knew that he was who we would go with for our wedding. We had a large list of songs we wanted played and he played each and every one of them. Guy has a great presence in keeping everything moving in the right direction (in terms of dancing, toasts, cake cutting, etc.) without being overpowering or cheesy. We wanted low maintenance, stress free planning and we got that with A Beat Above Entertainment, though he is open to as much or as little planning as is needed or wanted by the client! Guy was very willing to work with us and very accommodating even with last minute changes with our entrance song.

One of the biggest compliments we received about our wedding was that our wedding was fun!! I have never been to a wedding where everyone was on the dance floor but that was not the case at ours! Guy kept everyone out on the dance floor and helped make the night flow nicely. In addition everyone had a blast with the photo booth and the images are easily accessible the next day on A Beat Above Entertainment Facebook page!! We loved it!! Classy, experienced and worth every penny. I highly recommend A Beat Above Entertainment for your DJ needs!!!

Guy was a fantastic DJ. We didn't have a lot of "dancing" types at our wedding and he got people out on the dance floor. He played the exact type of music we love and kept the party going. During the ceremony the music was flawless and so beautiful. I highly recommend him and will use him in the future.

Guy was perfect. He offered all the same services as every other DJ in town at 1/2 the price. He was super responsive to the type of music we wanted and he had everything set up on time, exactly how we envisioned it. No matter what we asked him to do or changed at the last second he was on top of it. He also provided everything we needed for our ceremony without charging us more for each little element. The service that was provided from this company was AMAZING. Not only were the prices SO reasonable and cheaper than any other DJ we looked into but he provides you with a free photobooth (one of the latest trends for weddings). He took the time to meet with us and completely lets you customize your own wedding playlist. He is prompt on his emails and services and is extremely nice. He provided a microphone to anyone who wanted to make a toast and also provided lighting for the dance floor. We obviously did not have enough dance time to play all the songs we put on the playlist but I was SO happy when it was over by the choice of songs that he chose from the list to play. The music and dancing was definitely one of the best times at the wedding. I would recommend their services to anyone.

We could not be happier with A Beat Above Entertainment's performance! They were an essential piece in making our wedding day perfect. They totally tailored the music to our wants, played everything we put on our playlist (and nothing on our no-playlist), and even took requests from guests the day-of. They did a great job of capturing the mood of our reception and had EVERYONE dancing (young and old!). A Beat Above was very professional through the planning process and all throughout the celebration, leaving no worries for me (the bride), my husband, or our families.
