Hiring Bamboo Beats was one of the best things we did concerning our wedding. We knew from the start we wanted a party and they delivered, big time. Our friends are sending us emails a month after the wedding telling us that it was by far the most fun wedding they've been to. It sounds like I'm bragging, but really, all the credit goes to Isaac and Jojo.

From the start, they kept the fact that we wanted fun and different in mind. During the 8 months that passed from our initial meeting to our wedding, Jojo was amazing about touching base and checking in. She even remembered my silly request on day 1 of having a shiny disco ball and made it happen!

Because we wanted a party, we ended up doing the Video DJ option. So awesome! It's something we'd never seen done before and was so tailored to us. It looked professional and add a lot of spunk to the dance floor. By the end of the night - after 6 hrs of dancing, yes, 6 hours - we still had to kick people off the dance floor and tell them the party was over. They were having so much fun they didn't want it to end. I don't blame them, I didn't either.

I can't recommend this rockstar team enough. You will not be disappointed!!!

Isaac & JoJo @ Bamboo Beats are so awesome! They made the whole night so much fun - everyone was out on the dance floor having a blast. They did an excellent job at keeping the mood up and lively, and picked great music for the open dancing and dinnertime. JoJo was super helpful with facilitating the reception as well, she went and found my toss bouquet, she came and got me when I needed to be somewhere else, she worked great with the DOC and the other vendors, she was awesome. I'm so happy they were our wedding DJ - no other company could have compared. =) I recommend Bamboo Beats to all my friends!

Bamboo Beats provided all of the music for our wedding - Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception. DJ Cues kept everyone dancing throughout the entire evening!

We really enjoyed having Bamboo Beats as our ceremony and reception DJ. Jojo and Issac are very personable and easy to work with both in person and by email. They are also very organized. They provided many useful worksheets, included a blank timeline for me to fill out with their cues, a "special songs" list, and a list of my reception songs.

I probably gave them more structure than was even needed. I picked about 30 of the reception songs while writing my wedding invitations and listening to Pandora. But they even said you could just give them a list of a few of your favorite songs or genres and they could create your list that way too. I was not able to fill the full 4 and a half hours with music, and that's fine, because they did a wonderful job adding songs to our list to fill in the blanks. We had a Spanish themed wedding, so for the cocktail hour I had them playing flamenco music, I was a little afraid they wouldn't be able to find the music I requested, but they had no difficulty finding lovely flamenco songs.

All the songs mixed seamlessly together. They made wonderful selections, because it seemed like everyone had a great time dancing! They did a good job MCing when it was needed but playing music the rest of the time. They worked well with the other vendors letting them know what they needed and kept them informed about timing. They provided uplighting for our wedding (in our wedding colors), which in the unprofessional photos looks amazing, so I can only imagine how it looks in the professional photos. They provided music for our ceremony - which because it was at the Seattle Parks couldn't be "amplified", but they did a wonderful job playing quiet music for us on their laptop with speakers to get around that. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

We used Bamboo beats and had the pleasure of working with DJ 'Cues'. He was vey receptive to our theme of heavy metal, which was incorporated into the ceremony as well as the reception. We met with him a few times and he was even able to meet up with us at our rehearsal to make sure the ceremony music was timed perfectly. Cues and his wife, Rubbie were amazing at the wedding. She was very helpful with the details and timing of different parts of our wedding. We rocked the dance floor throughout the evening and it was truly a night to remember.

Bamboo Beats was fantastic DJing our wedding. Preparing for the wedding, Jojo and Isaac were extremely organized and professional as we worked through the order of events and built up the song list. Isaac did a great job with our fairly eclectic mix of music, and everything just flowed smoothly and felt like “us”. We really liked his style as an announcer as well – just cool and professional, far from the cheesy vibe you often get from wedding DJs as soon as they start talking. Finally, Isaac was excellent at getting everyone out on the dance floor and keeping them moving. He read the crowd well and made sure our guests were engaged – it worked great, and everyone was having fun on the floor until the end of the night. We’d recommend Bamboo Beats to anyone without hesitation.

Bamboo Beats was organized and awesome. Jo Jo and Isaac are a well oiled machine. They helped us plan our our wedding ceremony to a T. We provided a music list/genre preference for all aspects of our wedding (pre-wedding, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing...) and the guests were very impressed. They have an extensive knowledge of R&B and hip-hop music, but incorporated everything we asked for. They provide their own sound system and mics for the officiant and readers. The sets they played were seamless. They kept our guests on the dance floor until the venue shut us down. They were prompt, communicative, and helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The most awesome part: they helped off-set our wedding's carbon footprint!! They are very eco-friendly which is something that is near and dear to my heart. Way to go, Bamboo Beats!

I absolutely love Bamboo Beats. DJ Tecumseh created the perfect atmosphere for our reception, from the cocktail hour to the last dance. He did a great job transitioning from more traditional wedding songs that appealed to every one early in the reception, to more of a dance party later in the night. And he also did a great job keeping the pace of the reception going so people never got bored. Working with Jojo before the wedding was also a great experience. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions quickly. Bamboo Beats played a huge part in making my wedding a success and I'm so glad that they were my DJ. I would recommend them to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I were married on October 22, 2011. Our DJ for the night was DJ Cues and he was amazing! My husband and I really wanted to dance the night away with our family and friends and that's exactly what we did. DJ Cues kept the atmosphere up beat and fun and we enjoyed every minute of it. We didn't really offer too many song requests but DJ Cues figured out what we liked and knew exactly what to play to get us all excited and on the dance floor.

Everyone we were in contact with at Bamboo Beats were incredibly professional. We were happy with the service from the beginning during planning until the end. In fact, we both really appreciated that both DJ Cues and his wife made sure to say good bye and thank us for letting them be a part of our day at the end of our reception. Overall a great experience.

I have never, ever written a review for anything online, ever, but I just could not resist. Isaac was the BEST wedding DJ I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. We were married 10/22/11 and I chose Bamboo Beats because I felt that they were really in sync with the type of music I wanted to play at my wedding and I wanted a DJ, not just a human IPOD manager.

Isaac and Jojo delivered and surpassed my expectations. My friends and family have not stopped raving about the music, truly there have been more comments about the DJ than anything else ( including how stunning I was ; ), j/k).

Isaac is a true DJ, not just a songlist player/ MC. He responded quickly and accurately to the crowd and the vibe and the playlist was PERFECTION. I asked for a mix of current hits but wanted a focus on early 90's dance and hiphop with a little blend of motown It was so good!!!

I watched people repeatedly start to leave the dance floor as a song was fading out and immediately running back because the next song was even better!

They did the audio and music for the ceremony as well which was flawless.

I can not say enough and I reccommend Bamboo Beats without reservation....don't miss out on this, I know how stressful wedding planning is and, in retrospect, this was a slam dunk choice!

My groom and I loved and very much appreciated the job that DJ Cue of Bamboo Beats did at our wedding this past fall. So many guests commented on how they liked the music…Many times they wanted to know how we picked the songs and I was very happy to say that DJ Cue did; he nailed it. And I have to honestly say that I danced my feet off and was sad to leave to our get-away song because I was dying to hear what songs he would play next.
