    The perfect wedding

My now husband and I decided to move our wedding to Bahama Beach Club pretty last minute. The team there made sure every detail of our stay as well as our wedding was perfect even though we booked only a month in advance.
Our 3/1/2023 wedding ended up being a trip of a lifetime for everyone involved. We had guests traveling in from the US and Ireland and everything went smoothly.
Serenity went out of her way to make sure our entire group was well taken care of and made everything on our wedding day fall together perfectly.

    Pros:
The most beautiful beach, turquoise waters
    Excellent wedding team
Huge, clean, modern condos steps away from the beach
    The wedding meal was unbelievable
Nightly menu at the restaurant was always excellent (and we are all foodies!)
    Great drinks
Paddle boards and kayaks free of charge for wedding guests
Self planned Green Turtle Cay day trip
    Locals were all very welcoming
Great coffee shop and small grocery store a short golf cart ride from the resort

    Cons:
The pool could use some improvement (we typically hang out at the pool on beach vacations but we were not bothered by this at all because the beach set up was so great and close to the bar)

I highly recommend renting golf carts for exploring the island.
You can also set up a chef to come to your condo and cook breakfast (surprisingly very affordable). The resort restaurant did not have breakfast when we stayed. We also set up charcuterie board/snack deliveries to the beach during the day for our guests.

I got married at the Bahama Beach Club on May 13, 2017. Everything from the planning leading up to the wedding, to the rehearsal/welcome party, to the wedding was perfect. We had never been to BBC or Treasure Cay prior to our wedding so we were a little nervous going into it, but as soon as we arrived, we were completely satisfied with BBC. Serenity and Kellie were amazing helping us plan for the wedding prior to our arrival and once we arrived. (I literally cannot say enough about how pleased we are with Serenity and Kellie, along with everyone else at BBC).

We had Chris the burner to play at the welcome party (which was held at BBC). The food, drinks and music that night was amazing!!

For the wedding, the flowers (and arch) were done by Bahama Blooms (Melinda Pinder). The flowers for the ceremony, bouquets, etc. were absolutely gorgeous! We had a steel drum play for the ceremony and first hour (cocktail hour) during the reception. We also had DJ Kirk Duncombe - Furze Entertainment play for the reception. Kirk had everyone dancing all night long and we all had a blast! Gabrielle Minni was our photographer for the wedding and her pictures turned out beautiful! We ended up doing 5 stations for the food for the reception and the food was amazing. All of the BBC's bartenders and workers serving the food were great.

I also want to mention how BEAUTIFUL BBC venue is. Everything from the pavilion, to the beach to the amazing blue/clear water is stunning. My family rented condo 2087 and we're pleased with the condo. It was super clean and spacious. I highly suggest renting a golf cart while you are there. We rented a 6 person and 4 person golf cart from Blue Marlin. The golf carts are affordable and we put them to good use while there.

We wouldn't change anything and couldn't be anymore pleased having our wedding at BBC!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Bahama Beach Club! The beach is absolutely stunning, and the staff are beyond helpful and accommodating. My husband and I brought our parents there for an intimate beach wedding. The staff at the Bahama Beach Club gave us the same attention as they would have if we had an 80 person wedding. They only conduct one ceremony per day, so you have their undivided attention. The beach is also very private, so you won't find many (if any!) beach goers interrupting your ceremony or your pictures. I was definitely nervous planning a wedding out of the country at a place I had never been. Rest assured that everything you see on their website is exactly as it is in person. The condos and overall property are in great condition. We worked with Chantelle as our wedding coordinator and she was the best! She helped arrange everything we needed for the day (e.g., flowers, hair, makeup). It was so easy to work with her and she was always available to answer my questions, no matter how many I had. I also have to give her, the catering director Jerry, and the head chef Keeshad MAJOR props. My father has celiac disease, so he can't eat any gluten. Not only did they prepare a separate menu for him before, but they made sure it was cooked properly so there was no cross-contamination and they even baked him a separate gluten free cake. My only decline in the professionalism rating was that they billed us without sending an invoice, but the charges were correct and they provided an invoice when asked. You will definitely be happy if you have your wedding at the Bahama Beach Club! My husband and I were thrilled with how everything turned out. It was beyond our expectations.

We had about 40 friends and family join us for our wedding at the BBC last November. We wanted something more private and "off the beaten (beach wedding) path". I read so many reviews about places hosting 5, 10, 15... weddings/day and that was just not for us. We found the privacy, exclusiveness and personal service we were looking for at the BBC, and beyond...The staff was so personable, cheery and helpful. Especially Chrystie - she helped me put all the details together leading up to the wedding and I was blown away with the end result - she nailed my vision just based on photos I sent her. It was perfect and she was available to help with whatever we needed, from the moment we arrived until we left.
We did the Rake N' Scrape band with the BBQ and beach bonfire for our rehearsal dinner. The food was awesome (was still being raved about the next day) and the band was SO much fun!
For the wedding day, we were married on the beach in the afternoon, followed by the reception at the Pavilion. Staff was friendly and fun, food was again terrific - my hubby Chris was raving about the beef skewers (passed apps) and so they just brought him his own heaping plate! He was thrilled. The little things like that throughout our days there is what really put BBC over the top.
The condos are absolutely stunning, had beautiful ocean views and the condo-style felt more comfortable than being at a large hotel. Our guests (comprised of mostly family & some close friends) were able to share condos and kept pricing reasonable for everyone at such a high quality resort. The BBC also gave all of our guests their 4th night free which was great!
The end of November is off-season, weather was not as warm as we had wanted/expected and it was windy. Not beach weather but when the wind died down the sun was warm and we did get some pool time in!
I am so happy with my experience at the BBC, and I didn't even mention how pristine the beach and the water is. Pictures don't do it justice.

Beautiful event! the entire staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. the food was perfect. The week we arrived the Island was just hit with a Hurricane, so considering the impact the hurricane had on the Island, and the resort, the staff worked especially hard to make the day memorable.

I dare say that that all of our guests (we have had four groups to BBC) werE extremely pleased with the stay at BBC, specially with the nice standard in the condos and the friendlynessof the staff. Maybe a few in our November-group were a little dissappointed on the weather (just a couple of weeks after SANDY)!!
Hope to see you all in November again!
    Leif Hubertsson
P.S. A little personal wish: I wouldn´t mind to receive my commission a little quicker. Our latest group left on April 03 and I haven´t got any commission yet for my Easter Group!

We were married at Bahama Beach Club in October. We arrived 6 days before our wedding to find the resort under construction and in no condition to receive guests, let alone an entire wedding party. The two onsite restaurants - site of both rehearsal dinner and reception - were under heavy construction, so there was nowhere to eat or drink during the wedding week, and we didn't know until the DAY OF if our events would take place as planned. Since it was low season on Treasure Cay, there were limited options for dining so we spent the majority of our week walking back and forth to a bar a mile away.

Our wedding coordinator left for 3 weeks leading up to our wedding for her own nuptials, which she has every right to do. However, management did not have a plan in place to replace her and ensure that all the arrangements we’d spent months making came to fruition, thus everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, fell through the cracks and had to be redone multiple times, by me, during wedding week. A few examples:
    1. Ground transportation issues – 1 out of maybe every 6 pre-booked taxis arrived as requested. 2. Reservations – The day before arrival we found out we didn’t even have a room reservation for the correct dates. The reservations had been made at least 6 months in advance. 3.Golf carts were not reserved as requested.

Exempting the wedding issues & related expenditures for a moment, my guests & I still spent roughly $11,000 on room nights at a resort that was barely open. We experienced half a vacation. While the management offered a few concessions, meals & drinks during the week, there was never an apology or an attempt to communicate why they'd messed everything up so badly. They blamed a hurricane that had passed 300 miles away 3 weeks earlier and have ignored all requests for refunds from my husband and I and our guests. I wrote about the experience in detail here: http://angieaway.com/2015/11/13/disastrous-destination-wedding-bahamas/
