  The Baber House is gorgeous even by itself. However, when it was decorated for our wedding, it was absolutely stunning. The surrounding area makes a great backdrop for bridal and/or wedding pictures. The staff is super flexible. We were able to have the house Friday and Saturday for a low cost (compared to other venues). It was wonderful! The courtyard in the back is the perfect place for a small or large wedding...we were able to squeeze 225+ guests back there. The conversion from ceremony site to reception was amazing, as well. This venue overall just makes a wonderful wedding/reception site!

  The Baber House and its grounds were absolutely beautiful. I had planned on having my ceremony outside in the courtyard and my reception inside. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, the ceremony had to be re-worked to be inside. The grounds and house were very clean and well maintained. Heather, who is in charge of the venue's bookings, was very professional and responded quickly to my emails. I live in Clarksville and she was willing to work with my schedule and availability with no problems at all. My only complaint is that we were supposed to have the venue completely to ourselves on the wedding day. HOWEVER, an employee of Southeastern Building Corporation (who owns the house), showed up at the venue and throughout the house MULTIPLE times that day. That was slightly annoying.
