  Beautiful photography

  Convinced I don’t need to sacrifice a digit to pay for a photographer for my wedding, I looked for photographers with a broader skill set than just wedding photos. I was immediately impressed by Ayano’s repertoire and appreciated her more candid approach to capturing precious moments. The pictures she took beautifully reflect the excitement and joy of our wedding. She was invaluable in helping plan our photo shoot through Central Park and ensured we made it to the venue with perfect timing. She provided our photos quickly after the wedding and was incredibly professional throughout all our interactions. When the day takes months to plan and so quickly ends, it’s a delight to have these photos to cherish. I’d recommend Ayano to anyone looking for a photographer who captures the true emotion of your wedding day.

  Ayano was so professional throughout the preparation and the day of the wedding. She met up with me way before the wedding day to walk me through the details. Thanks to her beautiful work, we were able to capture so many great memories. Thank you for making our wedding day so special and memorable.

  Ayano was a pleasure to work with, and truly captured our vision for our wedding photos. My husband and I are very carefree and relaxed, and wanted our wedding to be the same - no fuss. Ayano took that directive and ran with it, capturing organic shots of us and our guests that I will cherish forever. Would absolutely recommend -- and will use her again!

  Today is our 10 year
  anniversary! I am writing this review because I want to express how happy our wedding photos still make us after 10 years. Ayano took photos of our wedding on April 26th, 2008, and we still cherish her photos everyday. Our 8 year old daughter loves looking
  at them! The value of her photographs for us will keep growing every year. We hired for other opportunities including for our business, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer!

  When you're planning a wedding, photography is one of the things that you may be tempted to skimp on because you have a cousin who's a photographer or whatever but I remember a good friend explaining that it's actually an heirloom. The photography is what's left after the wedding is over so it is worth spending on. However, that doesn't mean you have to break the bank either. We chose Ayano for two main reasons--her affordability and gorgeous portfolio.She gives a couple many options. It's also tempting to get a photographer that does not specialize in weddings but that would also be a mistake. Weddings are always stressful between family/venue drama and Ayano performed with grace under fire! Our church (Riverside) over-booked too many weddings on our wedding day so the time for our pictures was compromised. Ayano was able to get all of the photos anyway. She was also able to improvise with our reception venue to get beautiful duet shots with me and my husband.
  Although took some traditional portrait shots that were posed, the photos I enjoy the most are the candid ones that are more photo-journalist. She also has a lot of experience photographing live performance (music, dance) and I think she has a gift in capturing the magic of special moments. She also referenced a videographer last-minute for us who was also excellent. The turnaround of the photos was extremely efficient. She sent us a DVD of the photos within a week or two of the wedding. And although we were no- so-efficient in selecting our photos for the albums, she accommodated us. Ayano also recommended our wedding for the local paper and we were featured in the NY Daily News! It was a lot of fun sharing our happy day with our beloved home-town newspaper and indulge our family and friends too. Perhaps the highest praise I can give about Ayano is more business and I have a feeling she will be the photographer we call for the next family affair from my parent's anniversary and our future baby photographs.

  Ayano takes amazing shots and she is a very nice person. We wanted to work with someone who didn't necessarily focus solely on weddings and you can tell by looking at her online gallery that she is an artist first, and wedding photographer second. She's photographed lots of dance and other performances and is very adept at capturing movement and excitement in her photos.
  
  We're not the most photogenic people and she did a great job with two people who don't like taking pictures. Our guests are clamoring for copies of her photos- they're that good.
  
  Ayano has three basic packages but she can also tailor her services to your budget and needs. If you hire her, you will be rushing out to buy frames.

  We had our civil wedding pictures a while back by Ayano and since we absolutely loved her work, we decided to have her take our wedding picture as well! As always she was a pleasure to work with and her work is just wonderful that words cannot express. You just gotta see her work with your own eyes!! She is very sincere and cares about your wedding and that really shows in her pictures.

  I absolutely love my wedding and engagement pictures!!! My husband is also very happy with them. We took our engagement pictures in NYC (Central Park) in November. Ayano was very professional and did a great job. We had some ideas of shots and poses that we wanted, but for the most part she was able to direct us and the pictures came out beautifully. We have received so many compliments on them. Ayano also photographed our March wedding. She never missed a beat! We really love our wedding pictures and will cherish them for years to come. I think you will be happy if you use Ayano as your wedding photographer. She really has a great eye- but not only that, she is courteous and very easy to get a long with. In the weeks leading up to the wedding I would get in touch with her and she always responded to me in a timely manner. I recommend her without reservation!!

  After looking at Ayano's portfolio online, I was quite surprised how reasonable her prices were given the fact her photos were breathtaking. I booked for our civil wedding since my family was overseas and they wanted to see how the ceremony went. The service (especially the responsiveness and the flexibility) we received was astonishing! Not only are the pictures beautiful, Ayano captured moments that nobody noticed on the day. Ayano provided us with a sincere service, perfect pictures, moments and at an extremely reasonable price for NYC photographer. We would highly recommend Ayano to everyone! Thanks again Ayano!! Arigato!!

  When we were looking for a photographer to shoot our wedding, there was one portfolio that really stood out, and that was Ayano's. What we loved was her natural editorial approach, nothing was posed unless we specified. The results were fantastic, and everyone who saw the photos were impressed as well. We highly recommend Ayano if you want a unique look.
