Nora did an amazing job photographing our wedding. We are so happy with how the photos turned out - they are exactly how we envisioned our day being captured. The attention to detail, the lighting, and the editing gave us a huge gallery of incredibly beautiful and clear photos, from us getting ready, to our outdoor ceremony, to us on the dance floor of our reception. They were also AMAZING the day of. They were punctual, prepared with our shot list, and did everything they could to help us keep our timeline on track. They even helped multiple times with wardrobe malfuctions - helping tie bow ties, scrubbing stains out of wedding dresses, and fixing buttons that came undone. They truly went so far above and beyond, we are so grateful that we hired Nora and her team for our wedding -

From the very first interaction all the way through our wedding day, Nora was absolutely exceptional. She was professional, organized, communicative, and incredibly kind, making the entire process feel seamless and stress free. From planning timelines to answering questions and offering thoughtful guidance, she went above and beyond every step of the way.
Our engagement session with Nora was an incredible experience, and the photos were truly breathtaking. She made us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera, and the images captured us perfectly: romantic, genuine, and full of emotion. Those photos alone confirmed for us that we had made the absolute right choice in choosing her.
On our wedding day, Nora was a calming and grounding presence. She made us feel confident, relaxed, and completely at ease, which allowed us to be fully present and enjoy every moment. Perfect Wedding Weekend Photos
We couldn't be happier with our decision to work with Solare Photography for our wedding weekend- Nora's experience, professionalism and attention to detail led to a wedding day that was calm, well-coordinated, and comfortable for two people who typically aren't that comfortable in front of a camera. We met with Nora multiple times in the lead up to discuss what we were looking for, which let us enjoy our wedding events without worry. Katie joined us for our welcome party and captured the perfect snapshots from the evening of us reuniting and catching up with friends and family who had traveled to celebrate with us. On our wedding day Nora and Katie created magical, stunning photographs that showcased our love, details, and special moments from throughout the day. We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Choosing Solare was truly the best wedding related decision we made, other than marrying each other. The photos are absolutely stunning and looking at them is like reliving our wedding day which is so special. They captured exactly what we hoped for, all of the different moments in the day and all of the emotions, people and places.. Not only are the photos breathtaking, but working with Cory was so fun and seamless. We got married in Acadia National Park so there were a lot of logistics to consider. Cory gave us great advice and direction, helping us choose locations for photos and making us feel comfortable. She also got our photos back to us quickly and accessing them was very easy. We stumbled across Solare Photos on the followers list of our venue’s Instagram account. After looking them up on The Knot and scrolling through their page, my now husband and I fell in love with their work- everything from the lighting to the colors to the candidness of their shots. After reaching out and discussing our wishes, we knew they were going to be the perfect fit. We got to meet Cory during our engagement shoot in Boston where she flawlessly captured who we are as a couple. She made the process so much fun and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Our wedding day came along a year later and we were completely blown away. Cory and her second shooter, Katie, were absolutely phenomenal. They were in constant communication with us all day long, were extremely attentive, and not only did they make sure to get the shots we wanted, but went above and beyond to find creative opportunities for photos. Our guests were raving about them and how amazing they were at their craft. When we saw the preview photos on Instagram the next day, we were completely blown away. They were absolutely beautiful and captured the entire essence of our wedding day. Working with Cory was an absolute privilege. She is an artist and a wonderful person. Simply Amazing!
My wife and I can't thank Solare Wedding Photography enough for their amazing work on our wedding photos. They're simply amazing! Our wedding day fell on the same weekend that Hurricane Lee impacted the east coast. We were anxious about our outcomes but Cory and Bethany were up for the challenge. In spite of the weather, they were able to capture some incredible photos of us on the beach. They were fun and kept up with our spontaneous personalities. We also had a rather large wedding party (17) and they were able to wrangle the team when necessary. The candid photos from our wedding are absolutely stunning. We really couldn't ask for anything more. Perfection! -

If you are looking at reviews trying to decide if you want to book with Solare or not, this is your sign to book now!!! We had the pleasure of working with Nora as our photographer, but she's so much more than that! She helped with everything from veils and bustles to boutonnieres, all while doing her actual job of directing us how to pose, and playing with lighting and different backgrounds until she got the perfect shot. She is so kind and helpful, and we are so glad she was the vendor that spent the majority of our day with us. We are obsessed with all of our photos, there is a perfect mix of posed and candid shots, of us and our guests, and we are so so grateful we can re-live our wedding day looking through them. Solare is worth every penny, and would be an absolute MUST if we were to go back in time and do this over again! -

I honestly cant put into words how absolutely perfect Solare has been before/during/after our wedding. From the very first phonecall, we knew we had made the right decision in choosing to work with Cory. The communication was consistently amazing throughout the planning process – we never had to wait for a response to a question or wild idea we had, even when we suggested an engagement photos at a haunted house. Cory was on board and ready (and even showed up with a smoke bomb) with a smile on her face, despite having to reschedule THREE times because of unruly weather. We were FLOORED with the end result. She continuously made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, despite us being super awkward. Wedding day had some bumps on our end with timing and a brief delay but Cory remained professional and got through all photos we wanted and were important to us without skipping a beat. She never made us feel uncomfortable or weird asking for specific things, she felt like a friend that was there with us, not a vendor. She went above and beyond every single step of the way. We got sneak peaks back a few days after the wedding, followed by over a hundred a few weeks after that. Our entire wedding gallery is absolute perfection. It truly was a dream – her artistic ability to see shots we couldn’t even dream of helped create the most gorgeous plethora of wedding photos we will happily share and look back on for the rest of our lives. We found Solare through our good friends who hired Cory for their wedding. Cory’s style is so unique and beautiful. The attention to detail and quality of her photography is incredible. Cory was amazing to work with throughout our entire (very long thanks to COVID) engagement. Our engagement photos were beautiful and Cory was so gracious to do the shoot after having done an early morning elopement the same day. Cory truly loves to take photos and you can tell!
Cory was incredibly helpful planning the timeline of our wedding this past July. She helped us to make sure we had enough time to get the photos we wanted and still be able to enjoy the day. On the day of the wedding she was very professional and ran all over to get the perfect shots despite the heat wave. Looking through the photos brings back all the emotions of the day itself and we feel so lucky to have all these memories captured.
We’ve now had the pleasure of working with Cory for our engagement shoot, for our friends’ wedding, and our own. Seeing her work is wonderful and the end result is stunning. We’ve received so many compliments!

We are one of the many couples whose original wedding plans were derailed by Covid, so we ended up having Nora photograph both our elopement on our original wedding date and our wedding celebration with friends and family a year later.
I’m a photographer myself, so I knew selecting a photographer for our wedding was going to be one of the most challenging parts of wedding planning. I contacted fifteen different photographers (and compared many more) before choosing Solare. Once we met Nora in person, we knew she’d be a perfect fit for our event.
Nora was very easy to work with, professional but relaxed, and made us feel at ease being photographed. Communication before and during our events was always timely and clear, and we received our final gallery well within the timeframe provided. Overall, I’m really happy with how our images came out. The quality of the photographs is just what I was looking for – true to life colors, crisp details, and a variety of different types of images including more candid and creative shots and not just all posed portraits. There are some shots we didn’t get that I wish we had, but I think that’s on par for how a real wedding goes, unless you want to stop the action and repose and reshoot every moment.
I found Solare’s wedding packages to be a solid value – I think less expensive, less experienced photographers would not have had the professionalism that Nora and her team did, and other photographers who had a similar quality of work and authentic processing and shooting style cost a similar amount or significantly more. In addition, I am so appreciative of Nora’s flexibility in shooting both events for us so even though our wedding didn’t turn out the way we hoped, we didn’t feel like we missed out on having beautiful photos of each of those days, which were each special for their own reasons.
I would absolutely recommend Solare Wedding Photography to other couples looking to capture beautiful, authentic images of their big day! -

I hired Solare Wedding Photography for my wedding originally planned for August 2020. When we had to reschedule due to COVID, Nora was very responsive and accommodating. We had the honor of having her and her team shoot our wedding on 5/22/21. I am so impressed with how easy and kind they were to work with. They made us feel so relaxed and comfortable the entire day. Though I haven't received the full reel of photos yet, Nora showed me a few sneak peaks and I am speechless. They look like they are straight out of a magazine! I have no doubt the rest of the photos will be just as fantastic. On top of her great team and great photography skills, she really let us enjoy our day uninterrupted. She captured us and our guests as we carried throughout our day in true, natural celebration rather than a string of posed photos. Cory is THE BEST!!!! I was SO nervous about getting my pictures taken all day, but Cory made it a complete breeze. My husband and I decided to hire Solare Wedding Photography when we were originally going to be married at the Smith Barn (back in May) because they knew all the great spots for pictures and their Instagram/Facebook are just honestly stunning. Well, due to COVID, the Smith Barn wasn't able to happen HOWEVER we were able to plan a backyard wedding in 8 weeks and Cory seriously delivered! She was absolutely amazing day of - from dealing with my lack of ability to complete sentences and my crazy disorganized house, to directing us where we needed to be and when, to driving down to a barn at the end of the street and trying new + fun things, she was just amazing and supportive! The sneak peak is so incredibly beautiful, 110% recommend! -

Couldn't ask for a better photographer!
Before we were even engaged, we had fallen in love with Solare’s photography style so they were one of our easiest vendor decisions.
Cory took our engagement photos at Higgins Gardens at WPI, our alma mater. Though she had never shot there before, the pictures came out amazing and she really made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She stayed with us for over an hour and provided us with plenty of poses but also encouraged us to offer up our own ideas.
In April 2020, we made the decision to postpone our big celebration and get married in a small ceremony on our original date. Cory was so flexible and helpful through the whole ordeal even as we changed our plans multiple times.
On June 5, 2020 we had our “minimony” in Pierce Park. Cory was amazing; she was so unobtrusive but captured so many beautiful photos! She really went above and beyond, chasing off interlopers in the public park and crawling through bushes to get the perfect shot.
She turned around our photos very quickly and even sent us a few sneak peeks to post on social media the day after the wedding. Cory is so personable and easy to work with and our photos are gorgeous - they perfectly capture our day. We can’t recommend her highly enough and can’t wait to work with her again next year at our big celebration! -

Talented, creative, flexible!!
The moment we met Cory we immediately felt comfortable and after seeing her work we knew we had to book her for our 6/6/20 wedding. We bought the package with the engagement shoot (highly recommend). Cory has such an artistic eye and really makes your "vision" come to life. She did our shoot in the seaport in downtown Boston. She knows the best spots, the best angles, you name it. ALL of our engagement photos came out absolutely perfect.
Fast forward to March 2020 and we were hit with a major dilemma. Do we reschedule? Do we cancel altogether? Cory was so flexible, understanding, and really was a listening ear in a time of utter turmoil for us. She stood by our side when we postponed to August 2020 and when we had to cancel everything altogether and decided to hold an intimate backyard ceremony on our original date.
Fast forward to June 6, 2020. We got married in our BIL & SIL backyard. We were originally supposed to get married at the beautiful Gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA, so we were definitely a little bummed about that. Looking at the photos...you couldn't even tell we were just in a backyard. The photos were just stunning. Somehow Cory made their backyard feel like an enchanted forest and so, so special. She truly is such a natural and captured all of the important moments from the wedding. She is so talented, we can't recommend her enough. -

Fun, easy-going, beautiful photography!
If you are looking for experienced, easy-going, and talented photographers…look no further! Solare Photography exceeded my expectations for my wedding photos. Nora and Katie captured the emotion and excitement throughout entire day and even provided our sneak-peak to us before we made it back from our honeymoon! They were professional and fun with our crazy families and bridal party while setting up our group pictures after the ceremony. The photos have a natural and soft touch and do not look like any effort was taken in editing them, which is something that stood out to me when comparing Solare with other photographers prior to my wedding.
I wasn’t sure what to expect since my husband and I did not do an engagement photoshoot with Nora since we were living in 2 different cities leading up to the wedding. Nora assured me that she would guide us and set up the perfect scene for the photos while keeping it fun and light-hearted. And she did just that! One of the small things she did that stood out to me in getting a candid photo of me and my husband is that she asked him to look at me and share his favorite part of the day. It was simple yet got us laughing and smiling in a way that was more natural than if she had said look at each other and “act natural”.

I can’t say enough great things about Nora and Katie. They were absolutely amazing!! We fell in love with Nora’s work through several of our friends weddings. Nora came HIGHLY recommend and we knew we needed to have her the second we met her. Leading up to the wedding, she was very responsive and worked with meeting around our crazy schedule.
Nore and Katie were more than just photographers on the day of the wedding...they did it all! They were the absolute dream team! Nora had every tool you could possibly think of and anything I needed, they did it! It was about 95 degrees the day of the wedding and any time we took a break, Katie was right there with a fan and some water. They went above, beyond and back around!
Both Nora and Katie were so kind, calm and funny!! They were worth every single penny!! I could not believe how affordable they were. They are better than all of the photographers I was looking at and had much better deals. The best thing we did was hire them!!
If you are going to splurge on anything, splurge on your photographer!!! You will not be disappointed with Solare!!! -

We are so happy we booked Solare Wedding Photography for our engagement shoot and wedding!
Cory was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. She was so prompt and responsive plus we felt she went above and beyond time and time again. Because we live out of state, she even drove around on her own time scoping out some extra photo locations for us which just blew our mind that she did that with no questions asked.
