My wife Cara and I felt like we hit the jackpot when we found Nina and The Atlantic Strings musicians!!! We had a trio of violin, viola, and upright bass for our ceremony fore and after. They harmoniously sauntered through some timeless classics of jazz, soul, and R&B that sounded perfect in our venue. Throughout our entire working relationship with Atlantic Strings they were extremely professional, punctual, and flexible to accommodate our requests. Nina was great to work with, very responsive to my emails about figuring out the music for my wedding with a different soloist and the church music director. She worked everything out with them herself which helped a lot. The musicians were on time and professional and sounded great. highly recommended!

I don't know where to begin in reviewing Atlantic Strings. They were absolutely fantastic and I would recommend them to ANYONE looking for a professional and highly talented musical ensemble for their wedding!

My now-husband and I planned our wedding in Chapel Hill, North Carolina from our current home in New York City while working full time and juggling far too many things at once. That said I was so grateful to have Atlantic Strings come into the picture. They not only had a full repertoire of music that we liked, but they were also able to suggest some wonderful options for us (that we ended up using and LOVING!)

From the second we spoke on the phone about the theme/tone of our wedding, I knew they "got it" and they pulled together a wonderful selection of songs with some input from us but also some excellent decisions of their own.

The day of our wedding was sunny and beautiful but the temperature decided to drop 20 degrees from the day before and a wind came out of nowhere (ah, North Carolina!). Of course, we had everything set up outside and despite the elements we decided to go ahead with the ceremony outdoors. Not to worry! Atlantic Strings played a 30 minute prelude in the cold wind as if it was nothing at all! It was incredible how professional they were. These guys could play through ANYTHING!

Looking back, I am so happy to have dealt with a group so organized, helpful and friendly. You don't really realize how important this is until you hear horror stories about other people's weddings. Everyone loved the music at out wedding and several people asked for contact information for the musicians after the fact.

If you are considering using Atlantic Strings for your big day, DO! And know that you will be in wonderful hands. Professionalism, talent, courtesy, and wit abound with these guys--you will love them as much as we did, I guarantee it.

Atlantic Strings provided beautiful music for my husband and I during our wedding ceremony at the Biltmore. Atlantic Strings proved to be a highly professional group of musicians who were able to accomodate our every request. The performance was flawless - they played Pachelbel's Cannon and the Wagner Wedding March - and timing during the outdoor ceremony was great.

All the members were dressed as requested, showed up on time, and were invisible except for their beautiful music. We would highly recommend their services to any couple planning their wedding.

What separates them is their professionalism. I never had to worry that they wouldn’t be at the right place, at the right time, ready to perform. That is key. As a bride, you have many, many balls in the air on your wedding day to consider. With Atlantic Strings, I knew they would be punctual, secure, properly dressed and on cue. All of that goes without saying that their performance was perfection! I spoke with them about the music my fiancé and I wanted and the timings and that was it. They know the drill! Our families were completely blown away by them! I received SO many complements from our guests. Their music is elegant and moving and they were truly inspirational on such an important day to us. I must add how they went above and beyond: I wanted my 6 year old cousin, who is studying the violin, to accompany them for “Here Comes the Bride.” Not only did they not question my crazy idea – but they embraced it. They met with my cousin ahead of the date and got him comfortable with the music and the plan. Everything went off without a hitch and I am truly grateful! I cannot give them a higher recommendation. Make an easy choice for your musical needs for your event and hire Atlantic Strings.

Adding live ceremony music makes a huge difference! I decided on a violin and a cell, however they have almost every musician possible. They played my ceremony and my cocktail hour! It was a wonderful touch. Although, I don't remember hearing it when I was walking down the aisle (emotions) I got to hear them again through my video and am so happy I decided on using them!

The violinist was in touch with me through the whole process and catered to my desires. They played every song I requested with no hesitation. She took a moment to introduce herself to me at the end of the cocktail hour!
