Kristin with Atlantic Caterers was amazing! She really helped not only my husband and I feel at ease, but my very nervous mother. The food was amazing, and you hardly noticed that Kristin and her staff were there. We had a sit down dinner that did not take very long to serve, and all of my guests seemed very pleased with the service. We also had an open bar where the bartenders were very friendly, and even carried on conversations with a few guests. Overall, Atlantic Caterers, Inc. is a vendor that I would reccommend to any friend or colleague!

Atlantic Caterers provided excellent food and service for my daughter's wedding in October. The quality of the food was superb.....everyone's dinner was served at the perfect temperature. The steak melted in your mouth and the crabcakes were delicious! I always received prompt responses to all of my questions. Thanks for making our day so wonderful!

I absolutely cannot speak highly enough of Atlantic Caterers! Their cost was low, their food was FANTASTIC, and their professionalism was more than we could have asked for! Raoul answered all of our questions, gave his opion when it was helpful, was there the night of the reception, and made us feel at ease and special. We could have easily paid thousands of dollars more and not gotten service like this! If you are looking for a caterer in Baltimore look no further than Atlantic! Our guests complimented us all night long on how great our food was! The wedding cake that came as part of our package was the best wedding cake I have ever had! If I could give them 6 stars in everything I would!

I truly cannot say enough positive things about Atlantic Caterers, and (especially!) about Kristin Olsson. First, the food: it was delicious! The guests raved about everything: the appetizers (and their very attractive presentation; the pastas; the beef and turkey courses; and the salads and side dishes, especially. The food was freshly prepared (on site in their mobile kitchen trucks, I am told), and was constantly replenished on our buffet lines. Atlantic was flexible in allowing us to provide our own liquor, and their staff of servers and bartenders were friendly, attentive, and unobtrusive.
Again, however, what made the Atlantic experience the best for us was our go-to person, Kristin. She was a consummate professional throughout the entire process: she was prompt and efficient in responding to email requests and phone calls; she was flexible and resourceful when unexpected changes arose; and she came up with some terrific ideas and solutions to help make our reception space look beautiful and our day flow smoothly. She exhibited finesse and persuasion in managing and interacting with other vendors, which helped ease our minds so much, both before and on the day of the wedding. As a couple that did not hire a band or DJ, Kristin was even willing to announce us and our wedding party as we entered the reception hall--and she did so beautifully!
Finally, I must mention that, as a gay male couple, we were somewhat anxious about how our vendors would relate to us, and we therefore selected very carefully who would be helping to make our special day happen. I cannot even begin to express how blessed we felt having Kristin (and Atlantic Caterers) providing our food and set-up. She was so affirming and positive, and she treated us in such a warm and accepting manner. It went such a long way toward making our wedding the affirming, positive experience that we wanted it to be. I would recommend to ANY couple (gay or straight) that they hire Atlantic Caterers (and if they can get her, Kristin Olsson). A+++

Our experience working with Kristin from Atlantic Caterers was amazing since day one.
Of course the food was fantastic at the tasting and at our wedding but the service we received from Kristen made them stand out even more from the rest. Kristin made us feel like we were working with a close friend whom wanted our day to be everything we dreamed of. Her attention to details, flexibility, experience and customer service were spa like.
There is so much we could say about Atlantic Caterers and we could go on and on but what says it all is that our wedding day was AMAZING and we can not thank Atlantic Caterers enough for their outstanding work.
We would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Atlantic Caterer has been amazing!!! Most of my contact was with Kristin Olsson. I can't believe the total number of e-mails I had sent her over the months. Almost all were answered within 24 hours, most in an hour or two. Bless her!
We had two tastings: A private one and one with a large group. Both were wonderful. We ended up adding some additional items, because we were able to taste them at the large tasting or actually see what they looked like on the table. I added things to the contract less than 2 weeks before the wedding. It was no problem for Atlantic Caterers.
Kristin (and Atlantic Caterers) took care of everything. The food was WONDERFUL.
The cheese molds (sweet and savory) are fantastic. Great berries on the fruit spread. There were even slices of Pomegranate with lots of seeds?one of the bride?s favorite fruits. All were delicious.
The raw oysters were unbelievable sweet. They were local -- from Tilghman's Island. Most guests had 12 or more. They were some of the best oysters I have ever had! As good as any from Puget Sound, which I consider to have the best oysters! (Sorry Chesapeake Bay!)
The large shrimp cocktail was not overcooked (as often happens). The cocktail sauce was spiced just right! And try the fig, gorgonzola, and saut?ed onion canap?s. They are unbelievable -- even if you don?t like figs. The butlered appetizers were actually offered to every guest.
Our guests raved about the delicious salad -- mixed greens with spinach, watermelon, raspberries, goat cheese, walnuts, and poppyseed dressing. (The groom thought it was so good, that he made it at home for a week straight after first tasting it!)
Almost every guest said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding or other event. The Crab Cakes were better than most restaurants?. Loaded with lump crabmeat. I can't believe they came from a caterer. Delicious Roast Beef (served rare as requested) and perfectly moist turkey!
The servers were attentive, helpful, and totally professional.
The fact that the price included a divine cake from Sugar Bakers was just "the icing on the cake!?
Atlantic Caterers is the best deal in Maryland! The possible choices from them are endless. I will never use anyone else!!!! There aren?t enough superlatives to express my feelings over the wonderful job they did at my daughter?s wedding. Everyone behaved as if it was their daughter getting married. They made it the best event possible!

We worked with Kristin Olsson at Atlantic Catering. She listened to us and when we arrived at the reception we walked into the wedding of our dreams. Kristin went above and beyond - she ran the show and it was perfection. She put us at ease through the entire process. Our guests said the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding and we felt the same. The staff was very effecient and they have some of the nicest servers. They all took great care of us - the servers even wore hot pink ties to match our wedding colors! We would recommend Kristin and Atlantic Catering to anyone without any hesitation. If we ever have another event out first call will be to Kristin! THANK YOU FOR THE WEDDING OF OUR DREAMS! WE WERE BLOWN AWAY!

Kristin Olsson from Atlantic Caterers was truely amazing she went above and beyond her duties. We had our wedding reception at the Cloister's in Lutherville, MD. I heard from all our guests how the food was Outstanding!! The presentation was gorgeous. She handled everything she made sure our wedding was perfect. The planner I had worked with for months prior to my weddding did not handle my wedding reception. Instead when I arrived, I was told that she was not handling my wedding, as I had been led to believe! I did not receive any phone calls to let me know of the change in plans. Instead another planner came and all she had to go on was a piece of paper that was given to her! Nothing went smoothly! The initial consultation was great! She made me feel relaxed, considering all of the stress a bride feels while trying to plan her wedding. For every question I had, there was a great answer. I felt as though the reception would flow smoothly. I had ordered the table and chairs myself after first allowing my planner to review and make sure that I had everything covered. At the beginning of the reception it came to the staff's attention that we were 1 table short! So 8 of my wedding guests had to move to other tables to have a place to sit and eat. I will say that the food was great and the presentation was lovely, but the professional service that I was expecting from my planner was non existent! I felt bad for the woman who ended up managing my event, because she was thrown into it without even knowing me or what I wanted, or how the night was supposed to go. Needless to say after the event, I never received so much as phone call or postcard asking how satisfied I was with their catering.

Atlantic Caterers helped us considerably throughout the whole planning process, giving us tips along the way, and really listening to our overall vision of the day. Kristin took care of everything we wanted, and could not have been more friendly and helpful. She responded to all of our questions immediately, and was extremely accommodating to all our thoughts and ideas. We would highly recommend working with Atlantic. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about their services, from the first day meeting with Kristin, all the way through the end of the reception. All of our guests keep telling us how delicious the food was, and how beautiful the tables and tent looked. We could not think of anything that would have needed improvement! We are thrilled with how every last thing turned out.

There aren't enough good things to say about this company, so I will just give you the highlights.
My family and I were not looking forward to this part of the wedding planning because this is the most expensive part. We had actually met with a couple of other local caterers in the area. While some others looked impressive, their personalities (and prices) were not that impressive to me. Then we found Kristin at Atlantic Catering. I got a response right away and her follow up with even the dumbest of our questions was met with a quick and professional response. The choices for food are impressive, and there is something to fit everyone's palate. The value is incredible. I have hired a few caterers in the past, and I would challenge any of them to compete with this caterer based on price and the quality of food. We were served a double entree of filet and crab cakes. The filet was tender and our crab cakes were packed with crab meat. The meal was hot and everyone was served quickly. I've never heard so many good things said about the food at a wedding before!
We had made a mistake with the bar when we signed the contract. My father (who paid for everything) wanted a certain type of liquor to be served, and we forgot to ask for it. During the wedding, the manager in charge ran to the liquor store and got what we needed...in the city...at night!
Overall, it was an incredible experience, and most of the credit goes to Atlantic Catering.
