The Man running this company is a cheat and very misleading. Unfortunatly we picked him based on the services he would do and the food we tried at an open house whichI will admit was good(that day). So we put our downpayment and the rest is bad history. We are told the last payment is due 2 days after the wedding which we were fine with but then the week of he demands payment (obviously he ran out of money) The food we tried was NOT I repeat NOT what was served it was bad. On our 1st trial the chicken was raw, the second trial it was great and it was what we had picked but the day of the wedding he brought a chicken patty that tasted nothing like what we tasted at all we tasted a chicken breast. To make matters worse they ran out of food and had the nerve to tell out guest it was our fault that we did not give him the right number. We gave him a head count of 268 people and I have over 20 names that did not even show up and more on ttop of that did not get food. So embarrasing you spend so much money and that happens. Before the wedding appointments were cancled a lot he is not dependable. He even changed the contract on me w/o knowing my fault I signed it we asked for mixed veggies and he gave greenbeans we asked why and he said it was in the contract mind you 6 days prior to the wedding was the last time we met and discussed the mixed veggies. He took the cheapest route possible on the food. I didn't even eat my chicken. If I would have know my guest would not have gotten food I would not have eatin. DO NOT DO bussiness with this man heis very unprofessional and causes unnecessary problems. I wish we would have picked someone else. I know in the end I am married but NO one deserves to go through all this on such an important day.

Keith Martin is a pig and a liar.. We paid for grilled chicken and got baked in sauce. The food was cold. iSuppose to have fruit for the chocolate fountain and got pretzels and vanilla wafers. The cake was late getting there. The bar tenders he provided were an hour late. Total jerk to work with. Demanded he receive payment in full 3 days prior to wedding when contract said to be paid day of wedding, or he wouldn't show up. Caused lots of stress.

My new daughter-in-law's wedding was almost a disaster. Keith Martin was not
flexible. The wedding cake was delivered after the wedding started. We did
not recieve the services promised. The sashes and napkins were not the color we
ordered and had to be removed without replacements. The DJ was not interactive with the guests. Keith argued with the bride causing her to have a major melt down in front of guests and family.... No Customer Skills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Many other details were overlooked. The grooms cake was never delivered. The food was plentiful and the guests all said the food was great. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As noted in a prior review per "Jo", my daughter's wedding was on Aug 7, 2010 @Kemah garden's, Kemah Texas. Very dissappointed! THE FOOD WAS GOOD and THERE WAS PLENTY OF IT! And Keith was very nice and helpful over the phone, BUT! there were some very important things left out!--NO GROOM's CAKE and NO CAKE TOPPER for the Bride's Cake! And of course, my daughter, the bride, was upset! And Keith was rude to my daughter! UNACCEPTABLE! Not to mention that this caused us much distress during a time that was supposed to be "stress-free" (instead we were having to call and/or make contact with Keith, DURING THE EVENT, numerous times, to find out when the Bride's cake would be there (It arrived at the last minute!) as well as to find out where the Groom's cake was and the cake topper for the Bride's cake. Also, as mentioned in prior review, the linens/sashes were the WRONG COLOR (We had discussed the colors on more than one occasion during the planning process!) AND, I found out towards the end of the event, that that would be Arnie's Gourmet's last event at that facility due to previous complaints from other brides. And not to mention, I feel very let down, that, as promised by Keith via more than one email, that his services should be provided in such a way as, in not direct words, that I should not have to worry about or do one thing: I believe his words were "turn key". Not the case! Also, we were supposed to have a cheese tray with nuts and mints--We had cheese, but no nuts and mints! And the margarita machine my daughter ordered and paid for did not work properly! The D.J, I thought, was good! he played a good variety of music, played the ceremony music that was requested by my daughter, and even took special requests and made announcements regarding drinks, special dances, etc! We had a great time dancing! Thanks D.J! And thanks to Keith's servers--They were great! AND the guys that set-up! They were great too! It would have been nice to have what we paid for, and to have not had the stress and disappointment of not having those things! Sorry Keith, but thanks!

I am the bride for my wedding on August 7th, 2010. I am severely dissapointed in the catering service provided at the wedding. First of all, Keith Martin the caterer was hard to get in touch with or much less get an email response from about a few things. The Dj was finally chosen the week of the wedding, at the last minute. There were several major things that went wrong at the wedding. I know weddings are not supposed to be perfect and are very stressful, but these things were completely unacceptable!!

First of all, the table linens were not ordered in the right color when the caterer and I went over the correct color several times before the wedding. Secondly, we had to constantly call Keith before the wedding had started because the cakes had not arrived. My cake finally arrived after the reception had already started, and without the cake topper that I had ordered. Thirdly, the groom's cake never arrived because he failed to place the order for it, even after several confirmed emails. We were also promised a coffee bar with cheese, nuts, and mints and those services were not provided during the reception.

I ordered a margarita machine through him for $180 plus 3.5 bottles of cuervo of my own, and the maching was not plugged in until after the wedding started. Therefore, the margaritas were not frozen until half way through the reception. When I confronted him about these issues, he blamed it on us for deciding to use to pavillion due to bad weather when our families were the ones that helped move the tables. This was no excuse for the wrong linens, no grooms cake, unfrozen margaritas, etc. This was because Keith was not organized or prepared like he should have been. He was VERY rude when I confronted him, and when I told him that I was not happy with him, he was very unprofessional by saying he was not happy with us.

The only good thing I can say is that the servers that worked for him were very professional and worked very hard. Also, the food was plentiful and tasted very good. Otherwise, I will never recommend Arnie's Gourmet ran by Keith Martin in Friendswood, Tx. to anyone having a special event because he does not provide quality service and I don't see him staying in business much longer if he cannot do any better.

DO NOT HIRE ARNIES GOURMENT CATERING. We hired Arnies Gourmet catering for our wedding and they ended up being horrible. Their biggest mistake was that THEY DID NOT BRING THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT OF FOOD that we paid to have at the wedding. We paid for 190 people, we only had 150 show up and there were no left overs. Right when the last person at the wedding went through the line THEY STARTED PACKING UP EARLY. We had a fajita dinner and they were giving SMALL SERVING SIZES in comparison to the serving size my fiance and I sampled when we were deciding to us them. We had bought and brought our own silverware (forks, knives, spoons) and they took it upon themselves to decide that THEY WOULD ONLY PUT OUT FORKS. They also DIDNT PUT OUT ANY NAPKINS. My parents asked them to put out napkins, spoons and knives and once again they were very rude to them. They DID NOT USE GLOVES to serve the food or our cake. The lady they had serving the cake was VERY RUDE and CUT EXTREMELY LARGE PIECES OF CAKE and was touching it with her non-gloved hands, she shouldnt have had to touch the cake since we had a cake knife and cake server. The bar tender we got through Arnies decided to PUT UP A TIP JAR AT A NON-CASH BAR which we were really angery about since we didnt want our guests to feel like they had to pay to get a drink. They BROUGHT DECORATIONS THAT DID NOT MATCH OUR WEDDING COLORS AT ALL and were upset when we asked them to take them down. They DID NOT LISTEN to the way we wanted our food line to flow and they did it the way that they wanted and the line was a big train wreck until they rearrange it the way we had asked them to do it originally. We worked with KEITH MARTIN and he charmed us with great customer service all the way up until the point where we paid him in full two weeks before the wedding. DO NOT BE FOOLED AND DO NOT USE THEM.

Arnie is an amazing chef! They also went the day before and set up the linens for us. They did a whole tree made out of fruit for our guest that was amazing and 300lbs of ice with our monogram and shrimp-- with homemade cocktail sauce. The food was so amazing and its for a budget. Everything they did for me was an amazing price. Keith helped set everything up and he is like your father when planning it. he wants everything to go as smooth and be as beautiful as his daughters wedding. Arnie- the chef- serves everything and is amazing. He kept us informed all night. our family is going to use them for there daughters sweet 16 they loved it so much!

The food tasted great, but the caterer was 45 minutes late serving the food. He also told us that the number of people we had would make it through the buffet line in 30 minutes...it took an hour. My husband and I missed were short changed on our reception because of this mistake and how our timeline with the DJ was set up.
