I used them for hair and make up for myself and my bridesmaids and would absolutely use them again. We looked AMAZING and my girls loved how they looked as well. Very professional great pricing and I loved that they came to me for the trial run and the big day!

Carla and Carrie were amazing! I had a huge wedding party and I'm also kind of a make-up snob, but Carrie and Carla did an absolutely gorgeous job on every single person. Everyone's make-up was perfect, the hair was outstanding and it lasted all day long, and even with 12 people receiving services, we were ready ahead of schedule! They made me feel beautiful, they made my bridesmaids look fabulous, and they were total professionals in every interaction.

Appease, Inc. is also extremely reasonably priced and they come to you! I have no reservations whatsoever recommending them to anyone for their wedding!

I used Appease (specifically Carla) for make-up for myself (bride), my MOH, and MOB. She was so wonderful, with all the craziness that can surround your wedding day she was amazing to have around, not to mention I can honestly say that she did great work!! Both my mother and my MOH (not that they are not always beautiful) but they were stunning the day of the wedding, just absolutely wonderful!! Pleasure to work with!

Carrie was super nice. When my half up updo fell flat the day of my trial, Carrie did an updo trial at no additional cost -- and I loved it!

Sunshine was excellent as well. I loved the airbrush makeup -- she made me feel and look like a celeb!

I would recommend both of them to any girl looking for a hair/makeup team that comes to their house.

Appease made getting ready for my wedding reception fun and easy. I waited until the last minute to book, but Carla was quick to respond and provide the information I needed via email. Carla was our main hair and makeup provider, and brought an assistant and a nail tech to speed things up for the 6 of us. At the trial, Carla was able to take a few random pictures I had sent her and create exactly what I wanted (which wasn't in any of the pictures). I love that the trial took place in my home...made a very stressful time that much less stressful, and my fiance was able to give his opinion (not that he had much of one). Everyone else was also very happy with their hair, makeup, and nails, and it allowed me to give a small "thank you" to my sisters, mothers, and grandmas for all their help without the added annoyance of getting everyone to another location (Appease came to the hotel we were all staying at).

My make-up artist, Maria, for my wedding day was fantastic. She was so professional and fun to work with. She listened to what I like and wanted and helped me to look my most beautiful. She did a fantastic job and I have never felt so pretty. She was worth every penny and more, I had to tip her extra for how great she made me look and feel. She even whet out of her way to help my dad who had fallen and had a black eye. Great person, great company!

Working with Appease has been great - from the moment I contacted them. They were quick to respond, matched competitor's pricing, and were very thorough with following up while I was planning my wedding remotely. I didn't get a chance to do a test run, but it was not anything to worry about - their pictures speak for themselves. The day of my wedding - Carla was on time, her assistant and her worked efficiently, and my hair looked beautiful for my special day. She did an awesome job on my bridesmaids' hair and makeup as well. I would recommend them to anyone I know planning for a special event!

My wedding was this past week on June 1st, and I'm so thankful I chose appease to do our hair and makeup. They did me and my three bridesmaids. I had a trial about a month earlier. at the trial, Carla did an awesome job of capturing exactly what I wanted even though I probably didn't have enough hair for the hairstyle. On my wedding day, two stylists came. They were on time and got all of us done without rushing. My bridesmaids looked gorgeous, especially my sister. Her hair was like a piece of art. Amazing! Not only are they great, but the convenience of having someone come to me was worth every penny. And really, when you think about it, they do not charge much for the incredible service they provide. I was completely satisfied with the service I got.

Carla did the hair and makeup for my bridal party and my mother for my wedding on 10/15/11. She did a fantastic job! She came to my apartment for the trial and made me feel very comfortable. After the trial I decided to change my hair style and with just a few pictures that I sent to her she gave me the perfect hair style for my wedding. All the girls that had their hair and makeup done came up and told me how much they loved their styles and had nothing but glowing compliments for Carla. I would absolutely recommend this company to any bride. They were talented and professional and they also fit perfectly into my budget.

These ladies were great! My trial hair and makeup was in my own home, which is very convenient. Then, on my big day, I changed my hair and makeup plan a bit from our trial run (a girl's got a right to change her mind, right?) and the ladies were flexible and more than willing to adapt. My hair and makeup were perfect AND they stayed that way well into the night. After hours of pictures and then dancing my tush off, I still looked polished and pretty. Thank you!

Appease Inc. great to work with for my wedding in September 2011 at the Westin in Lombard. I was recommended to Appease by a friend at work whose sister recently used them for her wedding and had a great experience with them. My main point of contact was Carla, and she always responded to my emails and addressed my questions and concerns right away, which was great because I definitely had a lot! I chose Appease because of their reasonable prices, especially with the discount for my Friday wedding, and the fact that they come to you on the day of your wedding and for any trials beforehand. At my original trial, the makeup artist and I got along fine but couldn’t quite get on the same page about what I was looking for, so I let Carla know, and she was very happy to send a different makeup artist to me for another trial at no extra charge (who happened to be Laura, my hair stylist). The 2nd trial was much better, and I am so glad that Carla was understanding and wanted to make sure that I was happy with my look so there would be no surprises on the day of my wedding. My mom, 3 of my bridesmaids, and I all had our hair and makeup done at the hotel where the ceremony and reception were being held. It was so nice to have everyone in one place getting ready so I didn’t have to worry about where everyone was and when they would be arriving at the hotel. Carla and Laura arrived right on time the morning of the wedding, and they did such a wonderful job on all of us! They listened to what we wanted and were happy to make changes to our hair and makeup if there was something we didn’t like the first time around. My mom and bridesmaids were extremely happy with their hair and makeup, and I absolutely loved mine – it looked even than I could have ever imagined and went perfectly with my wedding gown. We all looked and felt beautiful, and the airbrush makeup looked natural and felt like we weren’t wearing any makeup, which we loved. I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup all night, and some people that couldn’t make it to the wedding but saw the wedding pictures even made comments about how good all of our hair and makeup looked. I would absolutely recommend Appease Inc. to anyone needing their hair and makeup done for an event, and I would definitely use them again in the future!

I had Laura and an assistant come do my hair for my wedding, along with 6 bridemaids and one flower girl and my mother. She came first to my house and did my trial and i loved it, a few days after my trial i decided i really wanted my hair all the way up and she had no problem with coming out for a second trial so we could get it just right. The day if the wedding they showed up right on time and got straight to work. I loved the airbrush make up and it stayed on all night! Even more impressive was how well all of our updo's lasted the whole night, for a good 12 hours! I never had one touch up to do and my hair looked absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone for their wedding day or any other event, she did a fabulous job and we couldn't have been more pleased.

Peggy was great. She made me look fantastic, and it was fun to chat with her during the trial and wedding day prep. Great price to have someone come to you.

I absolutely love this place. So easy and conveinient. Very responsive and flexible. Were willing to help me with any and all of my questions and any dilemmas that came up. Laura was awesome and rocked my hair and the hair of all the ladies in my wedding. Everyone felt and looked absoltuely STUNNING!!!! Thanks Laura and all the wonderful people at Appease!!!!!!

Omg!!! Carla is Amazing! She did a wonderful job! She did my make up for my bridal shower and my wedding. Everybody loved it. Most important I loved and so did my husband. She did my make up at 9am and it lasted to 2am! Polish/American weddings are long...but fun! I cant wait for another excuse to call her to do my make up for a special event.

Carrie was so amazing to work with. I am an out of town bride and she was really flexible at squeezing in a hair trial at 8 am on a Sunday! She did amazing work and was really affordable. She has a very sweet and fun personality too so you feel completely at ease with her. My sister has booked her for her wedding next year also! Everyone looked absolutely beautiful - she has my full recommendation!
