Can't express how impressed I am with the service provided for my daughters wedding. From the first meeting to the big day Rob was attentive, accommodating and did everything to exceed expectations. The food was amazing with nothing but raved reviews from all guest. The good was hot and delicious. I could not recommend them more for any of your special events. You will not be disappointed. -

We used Anthony's catering services for our recent reception and they were amazing! We had a taco station and a chocolate fountain present, the food was incredible. Our guests repeatedly told us how much they enjoyed their dinners. We loved our food and would use them again for sure! -

The food was amazing. Everyone kept talking about how great the food was and how it was set up. They truly enjoyed it and expressed their appreciation of it through the receptions. The shrimp and grits during the cocktail hour was great also. Max Parrish and his team did a great job. -

We really liked working with Maxwell at Anthony's Catering. We did two tastings, and each time he was very communicative, offered good feedback, and was receptive to changes throughout the planning process. Any time there was a delay on any communication, he always gave an explanation (or let us know in advance if he'd be out) so we were able to communicate effectively, even largely planning the wedding from a different city. We also loved the fact they let us use our own alcohol instead of forcing us to use their vendor to purchase cocktails. They also worked with us on making sure there were vegan and gluten free options that some of our guests needed.
When it came to the menu, we were pleased with what we got. We chose entrees of the Chicken Michelle and Bourbon Steak Tenderloin. We got tons of compliments on the beef in particular, from guests. Additionally, the star foods they provided for us were the appetizers - during the tastings we were IN LOVE with the shrimp and grits, mac n cheese, stuffed mushrooms, and baked brie. We were very very sad we didn't get to eat any of our cocktail hour food on the day of. Make sure you get someone to grab that stuff for you so you don't miss out.
Maxwell was also helpful with last minute changes - we added donuts late in the game and he made sure we had carafes of milk for them.
We also had a minor hiccup that occurred because some of the booze and mixers we bought didn't make it to the venue on time. They were still able to make it work for us with some of the assorted sodas they brought for dinner until we could get reserves in to deliver to the bartenders.
If I could change anything about the night, I would have set a plan ahead of time to try not to waste as much food. We had a very large amount of guests (around 179) and at the end of cocktail hour, instead of saving any they just threw out all the leftover appetizers when my family would have gladly taken some home. Even being able to donate it to a shelter would have been a more helpful option. I was unaware of the waste until the following day, which was a bummer. However, that was not something we set a game plan for ahead of time, and so I understand how that confusion may have occurred if they didn't know our preference would have been to save any leftovers or there was no way for them to save it in containers. -

From the moment I started talking Rob Vanderbuilt I had nothing but wonderful service. Rob was very quick to put a menu and price together for me and responded quickly when I had any questions. When we went for the food tasting, it was unbelievable! The professionalism they showed us was above and beyond our expectations. The food was to die for. Everything we tasted was unbelievably phenomenal!! We knew we had the best. The food was absolutely perfect during the reception and the waitstaff was wonderful and very professional. We were told by every single guest how awesome the food was and how they wish they knew how they made their seafood gumbo. Rob and waitstaff... Thank you so so much for everything!! Rob you outdid yourself. The food was phenomenal and the service was impeccable!!! Thank you for making our day perfect!!! -

Just dont let it get to you:) I know, easier said than done.. But have some faith, I did. And my wedding day could not have gone any better! Anthony's Surpassed our expectations beyond what we could have imagined. They catered to us hand and foot! Even came and found me and my husband out in a field taking photos to bring us hors d'ourves and water.. that was awesome because I know of people who didnt get to try the HD at their own wedding. So I thought that was nice.. They were right on schedule with everything. And lets not forget that the food was amazing as well. We got rave reviews about the food. And we received alot of compliments on the grits bar that we had at our wedding.. I know it sounds weird, but everyone thought it was neat. -

Rob worked with me starting 6 months before the wedding and helped me put all of the reception details together. He designed a menu that suited our tastes and our budget perfectly. He also arranged all of the chair, table, linen and dish rentals.
On the day of the wedding, Rob and his staff showed up early, and the appearance of the food, tables, everything, far exceeded my expectations. The food was absollutely delicious and the staff was so wonderful. We are still getting compliments on Anthony's food and service from our guests, and it has been four months since our wedding! We had the wedding at my parent's house, and my mom was so impressed that, thanks to Anthony's, she had nothing to clean up the next day! They stayed late and packed up and cleaned up everything. Rob even packed a picnic basket for us to enjoy on our wedding night. I can't say enough great things about this vendor! I absolutely loved them! -

We used Anthony's for bar only because it was the only approved vendor for our venue (Jacksonville Zoo). They allowed us to change the menu offerings and were flexible when the entire wedding had to be changed due to Covid.
The bartenders they sent out were amazing - friendly, funny and great memories on what you had previously ordered even in a whirlwind wedding event full of rain.
It was a little difficult to get ahold of the office when needed and I wanted to add services of day of coordinator but never received a call back. However in times of Covid I can only imagine what everyone is going through.
I would definitely use them again if we had the need. -

User7497510 Sent on 07/18/2016We were required by the Jacksonville Zoo to use Anthony's as our bar service for our wedding. The drinks were delicious and we had plenty of options to choose from. However, they were extremely difficult to get in touch with and it was a headache trying to get anyone to call or email me back. One of the bartenders that were at our wedding was incredibly rude, according to guests. Additionally, she accused SEVERAL guests of having fake IDs where there was no cause for suspicion. I'd understand if my guests were very young, but everyone was well past 21 with valid Florida ID. I'd let it slide if it were one guest she'd accused mistakenly, but it wasn't. -

My friends and I had gone to a bridal expo not long after I got engaged and we got info from Anthony's. I then heard a really positive review from a close friend, so I contacted them to get started. I spoke several times to a representative named Max, and thought that things would be great. The ball was dropped, I went weeks with no response from them, and then when I DID finally hear back the quote that was sent was for the wrong date, and not with the choices that we had made. Its a shame that I really think that they are possibly too busy for their own good and don't pay proper attention to all the perspective clients. We went with a different caterer in the area, that was ironically also at the expo.
