Amy is amazing - seriously. She is such a sweet, kind-hearted person who is willing to work with you and is easy going and flexible. She is extremely talented, as you can see by looking at her blog. She and her second shooter, Jeff, were very calming and great to have around! We were running late the morning of our wedding, so we did not get pictures downtown before the ceremony as we'd hoped. However, she knew we really wanted them, so after finishing family pictures directly after the ceremony, she ushered us into the limo and jumped up front with our driver, getting him downtown as fast as we could to make up for lost time and get some great urban shots. We were able to get to 2 or 3 different places in the hour or so that we had between the ceremony and reception, which was amazing. We also got some of our best shots downtown, so I am very glad she made a point to get us down there and fit these pictures in!! I have never heard a bad word about Amy, and if she is in your budget, I highly recommend that you contact her (did I mention she doesn't charge a travel fee throughout the state of MI?!)!!! Our preview was up on her blog within 2 weeks (ahead of schedule) and it was amazing - we were blown away by the pictures!!!

We booked Amy Carroll before we booked our ceremony or reception venues, that's how important it was to us to have a GREAT photographer. We were referred by friends in Grand Rapids, but Amy travelled to the Chicagoland area for our wedding. The galleries on her website will make you tear up, that's how amazing her pictures are. She truly has an eye for it, loves what she does, is sweet and easy to work with (tells you what to do so you don't feel awkward!), and can make anyone look good! Worth every penny, and I would recommend her to anyone for fantastic engagement and wedding pictures.

Photojournalistic meets Art. I cannot count the number of compliments that I have received about our photos...and that's just from the preview! Amy was FANTASTIC to work with - I would highly recommend her to anyone. She has an amazing eye, kept the bridal party engaged, and is not afraid to do anything for the perfect shot ... and this includes, climbing trees in heels, stopping traffic, laying down in the road, and asking street bongo players outside a cafe if the bride and groom can play. One of the things I most excited to show off is my wedding photos.

Amy and her second shooter Angie did an amazing job taking the pictures at our wedding. We could not have chosen a better photographer! I actually found out about Amy on Weddingwire.com almost a year ago. When I saw her website I knew that I didn't need to look any further. She has the perfect blend of casual, fashion, artistic view when it comes to her pictures. We plan to use Amy again in the future and would highly recommend her to anyone!

Amy was such a pleasure to work with on our wedding day! I love the fact that we had no worries about the photography since we had complete faith in Amy's vision and talent. Amy took fantastic pictures - better than many I have seen. The outdoor photos were beautiful. The indoor, church photos were only ok. If these are important to you, then be sure to ask lots of questions and see samples. She has a great eye. The problem comes with the follow up. It took a VERY long time to various parts of our package...

Amy is AMAZING! She truly captured the joy of our day perfectly. She is great to work with and just an all around wonderful person. She took amazing creative pictures, captures all the moments we wanted, and didn't miss the formals mom wanted either! I won't think twice about booking her, she is wonderful!
My only advice, book her FAST before your date is filled!

We were one of Amy's first weddings. She was great, I chose her because of her creativity. I wanted someone that combined the formal pictures with spontaneous ones, and that is exactly what I wanted.
She was very kind, my family loved her, she was always in the look for the perfect shot.
She was very ponctual, and I think she is very reasonable in prices.
You can tell that she loves what she does.
